I had to find a new place to get my treatments done after moving here and after spending some time on google and calling around I set up an appointment to see Dr. B for a consult. He is so precise and I love that he is such a perfectionist. You can really tell he is a master of his craft. A lot of the other medspas in Nashville have nurses injecting but I was spoiled in LA and got used to having a physician inject me. Recently I had a wonderful experience with my first visit to Franklin Skin and Laser. My appointment was for a second opinion for a cyst which needed to be removed. Dr. B quickly realized I was in an acute situation, and the process of removal needed to be started immediately. Due to incorrect guidance from another doctor office, I was in a potentially dangerous situation. Dr. B explained to me the process, making sure I understood the procedure. He made sure all my questions were answered, and he helped ease all my concerns as he carefully explained the entire process from start to finish. I felt totally comfortable with his expertise. Marie assisted Dr. B, and she was so sweet to me through the procedure.I have worked with cosmetic surgeons in the past, and can honestly say Dr. B is a rare find. He truly cares about his patients, and it shows in his work and also in his interaction with patients. He was thorough and meticulous with my entire procedure. I am so thankful to find him. I am 72 and I thought having any facial treatment done would be frivolous at my age. I thought about all the other things I could do with the money. I got a microdermabrasion here to remedy some of the scarring acne has left me with. I am definitely going back to finish my treatment. Ive wasted so much money at other places and on products that really dont pack the punch they claim to. Two days ago Dr. Bengelsdorf at Franklin Skin and Laser removed an infected cyst from my 13 year old daughters leg. He walked us through the options and carefully explained the pros and cons of each approach in a way that we both could understand them. We agreed on the best approach and then he began to prep. We walked out of his office, cyst free.Everyone working there supported us through every step. My daughter, who was understandably nervous, told me that the nurse, Deana, made sure that she was comfortable and helped calm her, while still assisting Dr. Bengelsdorf. In the meantime, the receptionist, Trina, and the manager, Sarah, both supported me while I waited.Then, the next morning, after my daughter had a chance to rest, we went back to the office. Dr. Bengelsdorf taught her how to pack and dress the wound. But more importantly, his words gave her the confidence she needed to care for it herself. Last night and this morning, she wasnt afraid, she knew what to do and she knew it wouldnt hurt. She was so proud of herself because she cleaned the area, changed the packing, and dressed it all... by herself.They explained everything, they were incredibly supportive, there were no unnecessary tests, and my daughter feels confident taking care of herself... an extraordinary experience. I am incredibly grateful. Oh... and by the way... they also ran on time!

I started going to Franklin Skin and Laser about a year ago. I am more than pleased with the results. Im 45 years old and everyone says I dont look a day over 35. Ive received microdermabrasion treatments as well as photorejuvenation on my chest, neck and face. The photorejuvenation diminishes redness and removes brown spots. Yesterday I had a small amount of Juvederm injected in the parenthesis lines on my face. Not only was it immediate gratification but not even 24 hours later it keeps getting better and better.
