First time to try Uncle. Have been going to Sport Clips for 15 years. The Uncle website was very descriptive and easy to set appointment. My stylist Kasey Frazier was great to work with. She offered some recommendations and after we decided on the best style she went to work. I was amazed by her perfection. Really felt good to have a stylist using such care. Will definitely be back every two weeks.

This is my wife’s email I don’t have a google account but nonetheless, My son and I came in and they were ready for us immediately. I wish I could Remember the name of the wonderful Lady who Cut my hair because it was honestly the best fade I have ever had in my entire life. The gentleman who cut my sons hair also did an incredible job. They were both very friendly and easy to talk to. This was our first time at Uncle Classic barbershop and this is where we will go for the rest of our lives, not even kidding. Bravo.

Marina made sure my son felt comfortable. He is a two year old and up until this point he has been terrified of getting his haircut. This was his second experience with Marina and after she was so great with him the first time we made sure to book his next appointment with her. This time, he was comfortable enough to sit in the chair by himself and let Marina use the clippers for the first time! He didn’t even cry once. We are so thankful for Marina and her patience with our toddler!

I had an appointment at 4:30. I arrived about 10 minutes early and checked in. They were not busy at all. 3 people getting haircuts. 4 stylists working. Nobody waiting. While I sat and waited for the next 45 minutes, I watched multiple stylists who were not cutting anyones hair doing other things around the shop, completely ignoring me. After waiting for 45 minutes, I got up and headed for the door. The stylist who was chatting at the front counter barely acknowledged me when I told her I was unable to continue waiting. I left without getting a haircut, and wondering what they might do with my credit card number, which they required when I made the appointment. I first visited Uncle about 6 months ago, and it was very mediocre haircut, so I found another barber. That barber is on vacation right now, so yesterday I thought I would give Uncle another try. Big mistake. I have only written a couple of reviews in my life, but I feel obligated to warn others about this truly awful barber shop.

I saw Texas today for a haircut and she is great. Really nice cut (scissors/layered/natural) and fun to visit with. I’ll be back!

I love the information about the business on the web, the online scheduling and reminder notices. Darci did a great job cutting my hair, she was engaging and efficient. Everyone there was friendly and welcoming. The shop is clean and open, and everyone was doing their part to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

We had a great experience with Corey, my son’s hairstylist. He listened so carefully to what he wanted, and exceeded our expectations.

They were amazing from start to finish. I was extremely nervous with it being my 1 and a half year olds first hair cut. The manager took the time out to talk to me days before the appointment to ensure they accommodate for my son. My son thoroughly enjoyed the experience. We will only being going here for his hair cuts.

I got a haircut here today, and was nervous due to the whole pandemic. Wow, they have it down though! First they take your temp before entering, and there is no waiting in the lobby. Must wait outside. Once the barber was ready for you, they met you outside at a distance to bring you in. Masks are required and everyone has to wear one. The barber did a great job cutting my hair even with that on. Once done, they thoroughly sprayed everything down and disinfected their area. I was really impressed and definitely recommend this place during this difficult time. Very friendly as well.

The salon maintains very good cleanliness and safety protocols. That, and Kasey Frazier is just the best stylist!

It was my first time to get a haircut at uncles barbershop and I was 1000000% impressed with the cleanliness and the way I was treated from entering the building until when I left. I’m a firefighter and truly appreciate the discount. I was extremely impressed with my haircut and was even more impressed with my stylist. I will be using uncles from now on.

The barber was fantastic his name was Kenny. I went in wanting a cut I had never had before he was very knowledgeable and did a fantastic job. I’ve looked for a great barber for a while and have finally found one.

This was our first visit to Uncle Classic Barbershop. My son was very happy with his hair cut, which hasnt happened in a long time. Kenny was excellent. He listened to our concerns about my sons hair and gave him a great cut and even recommended product for us to use to maintain the style. We will be back!!!!

The haircuts were not edgy enough in my opinion. Although I haven’t found a really edgy place in Nasheville, like there is in Texas and some other places. The 4010 barber is pretty good but they’re pretty far away. Just looking for a straight razor on my skin fade.

April does an incredible job not only cutting the hair of my 4 year old, but also interacting with him. Also Cassidy cut my hair for the first time and she did an incredible job. I have a new uncles less then a mile away, but I will continue to visit cool springs because of these two senior barbers.

Cassidy is amazing with my 3 year old. She is the first one who engaged him as a 3 year old and didnt just stand there and talk to me the whole time. She goes above and beyond and remembered he loved strawberry lollipops and had one ready for him. I would highly recommend her to anyone.

Very professional atmosphere. The Lady was young and we talked quite a bit through my haircut, which is something I usually forbid myself from doing, due to usually always recieving a better haircut when reframing from engaging. This was surprisingly a very good cut, especially with what I consider usually two marks id normally of held against my stylist at hand. Both being youth and talkative, if you didnt get where I was going. Id like to add that the speed of the cut was also quite faster than Id usually recieve from a seasoned-ish barber from say, like Sports Clips. And still I have to give an 8 out of 10 for cut and accuracy. And I have very fine, yet very thick full, head of hair. Mistakes are easy to make on me, usually resulting in the stylist having to go shorter in length to compensate for their mistake. This was quick and accurate, and with having to where the mask, Im confident she would of gotten over the one ear she didnt quite even with the other. Nit picking, I know. But facts are facts. So overall, absolutely a recommendation from myself for, Uncle Buds Barbershop. I did miss having my hair washed and massaged by afterwards like offered at Sports Clips. Especially since my fine hair, feels like fiberglass when not washed directly after a cut.Anyway, thats my two cents. You go be the judge now. I reccomend it a try. Mark R.

I have curly hair and suffer from male pattern baldness, so its a bit of a struggle to find a stylist that gets the look Im going for. I went to see Cassidy at Uncles today for the first time and was blown away. I got such a great cut and beard trim for a reasonable price. Cassidy also took notes about what my plans were! Ive never had a stylist do that. Such customer service!

Really happy with this place. Jane does an amazing job, switched over from Boardroom Salon and could not be happier! The warm towel neck shave is great. Highly recommend & they have great products for your hair.

I want to apologize for my recent review. I must have been having a bad day. Its not fair to judge a place based on one encounter. I will say they give fantastic haircuts. They just need to train their staff a little more on providing clean lines when shaving beards.

After moving here from Alabama, Ive had trouble finding a good shop. This is the place. Clean, modern, masculine environment. Dylan was my guy today, and he did an excellent job. He gave me the exact haircut I wanted (this fade is so on point) and even had suggestions for things I might want to do in the future. Will definitely be back!

Samantha is awesome. She nails it everytime. Shes attentive and listens to her customers. Im very picky about my hair. Its not easy to style. Has a mind of its own if you will and she tamed it. Always enjoy my visits.

The staff is nice and Amanda is GREAT at doing my hair. I recently started growing a goatee and she showed me how to keep it trimmed, myself. I’d recommend her to any man looking for a cut.

My boyfriend has gotten his hair cute here for the past couple of months and LOVES it. They truly knowledgeable about hair and have made recommendations that has made his hair easier to manage and look better (switching the side of his part, making it looks less poofy, etc.) He used a couple of different stylist, but really enjoys one with the last name Johnson. She does a really nice job on his edges and trimming everything up without going too short. Great atmosphere on the inside as well!

A coworker recommended Uncles to me and I really liked the result.Youre gonna get a great haircut and it wont cost you as much as Scouts or 18|8. Bonus points for having good parking and not being pretentious.(they indeed take pride in what they do, just not arrogance)

Today was my third and final strike against Uncle’s...my first one was when I was cut with a straight razor and began bleeding from my head. That was a year ago roughly. Ok, one mistake, one day, one bad experience. A few months later, I had to come back after a haircut due to the lady missing an entire patch of hair that I noticed after I left. Then today, my barber was rushed, clumsy (dropped a comb and a brush on me) and absolutely did not listen to me. I have had the same haircut by several different people by giving the exact same picture and explanation without a problem. However today, it’s a problem. Now I have to live with this atrocity for a few weeks...I was not charged for the haircut (rightly so) today, but honestly $30 for just a step above Great Clips is not worth it. After today, I will have to find another place to get my hair cut...the only reason I’m giving two stars is because there are some talented people in there, but a few bad ones spoil the bunch.

Kenny is a great Barber who I instantly connected with. Talking about BvS, The Snyder Cut, and everything DC in general. Awesome haircut and an even better conversation all the while!

Stopped in for a beard trim without an appointment, but they were booked up. However, Amanda was able to pull some strings and work me in for a quick trim. I appreciated her willingness to fit me in and she did a fine job on the beard!

Updating this review. Previously I gave 5 stars. I still give Marina 5 stars.However today I give the business 1 star. I was charged $60 for a no show when I specifically stated I had to get covid testing due to being exposed to covid. Theres NOTHING stating anything about a no show charge. Ill be filing a fraud charge on my account because these funds are NOT authorized. Poor business practice. Manager wasnt available to talk apparently either. Not cool.

Im a little biased, but since Google asked my opinion.... I will share :)This has been a great place to work and I love my job here. I personally love the amount of families that come here, and our environment/vibe is much like a big family! I have learned new cutting techniques and how to straight razor shave. I have learned gray blending, mens waxing, and beard trims. If youre a barber/cosmetologist looking for a great place to work--you couldnt design a better place if you tried! Also, our owner truly cares about her employees. She knows the names of my children, calls me by name when she sees me, and always makes me feel like Im an important part of the team. Uncle is the best job in town and where you will find the best haircut in town.

Have gone many times and always a pleasant experience. Staff ready and willing to do whatever you would like. Always eager to make sure you are satisfied with your experience there.

I paid $50 and she cut all my hair off when I definitely didn’t ask for that. Didn’t show me my haircut until it was done. Thought this would be better than great clips nope even worse.

April rocks. I followed her from West Nashville to Uncle and now she can really shine. The rest of the staff is great to chat with. Pretty relaxed most of the time.

Walked in to see about a haircut. One employee at counter, one standing at chair, two chatting in the back, zero customers in the barber shop, and told me there was an hour and 10 minute wait. No thanks! Id give them a Zero in customer service.

My teenaged son really likes the grown-up atmosphere here. Uncle’s caters to men, even with spa-esque treatments like beard massage. Make an appointment - they are always very busy. A bit pricey, but that’s not surprising. They go the extra mile with scalp massage, etc.

Been going here for about a year now and really enjoy it. Nice spread. Friendly workers. Love the free straight razor they give you on the back of your neck. They also offer straight razor cuts for neck and face but I havent tried it. They take their time so be ready to stay for 30 mins of so. Its worth it for a good haircut. Reasonably priced too. Go see Brittany. Shell take care of you. I always make a reservation and have no problems. Never jus walked in.

Belen is great at cutting and styling my hair and beard, and its a pleasure to converse with her as well. I love the look and feel of the shop, and being able to see Belens schedule online is quite convenient. I highly recommend this barbershop and invite you to try it.

Had the same stylist for 5 years, had to find somewhere else. Matt is a master barber who cut my hair. Did an incredible job. The fade is out of this world.

Incredible cuts. Old school barber shop vibe. Straight razor shaves and smell of tabaco is top notch.

Poorly run facility. I had an appointment for 10:30 but at 10:40 my barber is still trying to help a walk-in find a shampoo. Meanwhile 3 other barbers are just standing nearby by chatting. Very disrespectful especially since they have a sign that says if you are 10 minutes late for an appointment that you will be cancelled.
