A friend of mine referred us to the Blockhouse because she had great experience with Matty.My daughter has wanted a particular type of haircut that other stylists wouldnt do because they didnt want to give her a masculine cut in case she didnt like it. We tried four times with no success. Matty understood what she wanted and totally delivered. Shes happy and confident. We will continue to go to the Blockhouse.

Awesome environment for men to get their haircut. The only thing I had a hard time was trying to find this place for my first visit - they are in the back of the Franklin Factory (I hope this helps someone). Anyways, After 10 years of the same style / cut, I decided to change it up and try something new. I ended up with Kyle Edison - man killed it! He gave me such an awesome fade. I couldn’t be happier with his work. He’s also a cool guy to chat with. I highly recommend him!

First time going to an actual barber and left thinking I’ve been going to the wrong place for years to get my haircut. Nick was great! I showed him a picture of a hairstyle that I liked, he gave me a modern version of the cut I wanted and showed me how to get that look at home. The environment seems laid back but still professional. My search for a great place to get a haircut is done!!!

Fantastic barber in Franklin! They have a small bar so you can grab a beer or whiskey while getting your hair cut. All the barbers are nice, well trained, and nice to talk with.

I always get my hair cut with Matt because he listens and does exactly what I want. I love the way my hair looks when he’s finished. He’s great! I also love the fact that the price is very reasonable.

Great haircut; Matty nailed it on my first visit. They take what they do seriously but the vibe is very approachable. Josh will make you feel right at home. And theres an entrance directly from the parking lot next to Carnivore if you dont want to wander through the Factory. And theres beer!

I’ve circled the city for a solid haircut spot and landed here. Matt is phenomenal. I get cuts roughly every 2 weeks because of my job, but I’m also very specific about it looking the same each time. Matt gets that. They have super quality stylists who are always growing in their field, and also have a very good atmosphere for a drink before or after your cut. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a new place to call home, and tell Matt I sent ya!

I had very enjoyable first experience! I got a free beer on my first visit, which is always a plus, as well as a very good haircut. The vibe of the shop is very laidback. You could quietly read a book in the corner while having a drink, or have a loud conversation with a group of buds. Either fits. Very friendly people. Definitely not uptight or intimidating. Come in, have a cut, and enjoy yourself. It’s that simple.

I have never had to wait for my barber with their appointment system. They are doing a fantastic job with keeping everyone safe during COVID (even though most workers and clients voice a desire for facemasks and such being eliminated and normalcy returning). I have always gotten a great cut and looking forward to the bar part opening back up so I can enjoy a pint while there as well!

Weve seen several of the guys here and theyve all been fantastic. My 11 yr old son goes here and theyve always done an amazing job. Weve been to big chain barbers, and tried salons...then we found Blockhouse. Weve never tried another place since because theyve always been remarkable!

I have tried SEVERAL barbershops around Nashville and Franklin with mixed success, but I have yet to find a place as consistently great as the quality and service provided by the Blockhouse team. From the kindness of the staff checking you out to the quality of the barbers, this is THE place to get your hair cut in Franklin.

The best barbershop experience I’ve had since moving to Nashville. Matty is the man and always takes good care of my hair. Plus, he’s a cool dude. Everyone on the staff is friendly and I always look forward to going in.

I didnt get a haircut, but I was hanging out with friends after going to the farmers market and the margaritas were highly recommended. It was a fantastic spot! Very relaxed and cool. The margaritas are phenomenal and the staff are super friendly. Talked PS4 gaming while we chilled. Would 100% go back for the vibes.

Finally, a real barbershop that does what it advertises. Great atmosphere with great people who care about what they do. The service options allow flexibility and I’ve been pleasantly surprised by the lid back atmosphere, even amidst the Factory.

I’m from out of state visiting in-laws. I needed a beard trim badly. While wandering around the Factory luckily found the Blockhouse. A cool looking place and friendly staff and they had time to do a beard trim. They did an excellent job! Wish we had a cool place like this in Virginia!

The Blockhouse in Franklin (located inside The Factory) will treat you with the professionalism, courtesy, and service that every company should aspire to. No crazy upselling, just honest business. Matt has taken care of my haircut and beard trim needs for a couple of months now and understands precisely what I need. Every barber here is a professional, the bartenders provide excellent service, and its a great environment to kick back with your laptop and a beer if you just need a place. The Blockhouse in Franklin gets my full recommendation.

Went in for haircut - it was a dry haircut, only took about 10 minutes. A little irritated that they did not use a disposable cloth between the drape and my neck. I know that other people have used it. Cost me $35 - $30 for haircut and $5 tip. I dont get a drink and could care less about the alcohol. Alot pricey for an average experience.

While wandering around the Factory I literally stumbled across Blockhouse. The light, the large bar, and the friendly folk encouraged me to stay, enjoys beverage, a chat, and capture some of the gorgeous light and the decor.
