Since I found this place online, I come here every time I visit Franklin. This time I had the pleasure of having Kerri cut my hair. She was incredible! Im really quiet and painfully awkward, but Chandler was an absolute sweetheart and was just so nice. He did such a good job with the cut I wanted. I wish I couldve tipped him more. 10/10

Ive been going to Scouts for years for great bang trims and long dry cuts but just visited this Scouts for a balayage. Chandler did such an amazing job giving me summer color! Usually my balayage is brassy or yellow and then requires some tweaking but Chandler nailed it the first time around. Cant thank him enough for my fabulous hair! Compared to traditional or boutique hair salons, Scouts is pretty affordable IMO. Balayage plus hair cut was about $175 (not including tip).

We would have enjoyed giving this beautiful salon a 5 but the stylist attitude and lack of effort left us being generous w a 3 star. This salon is absolutely adorable. The stylist and barbers and stylist are wonderful and kind. Except for the one that worked on my husband. We came to spy out the land. This one failed. Hair cut was uneven and incomplete and the wax job was unexcusable. The stylist came across as rude and made it seem like it was an inconvenience to sit in her chair. After asking to take off the hair she had missed, she scoffed and still didnt remove the hair. She took it off an area it shouldve stayed. 🤔 None the less. We paid and tipped and laughed about his brows. I truly believe this salon will do great but perhaps train the stylist at the end to be a little more relaxed and smile. Everyone else seemed to really enjoy working there. Great environment. They offered us sparkling drinks w a smile. The joy was out favorite part. 🌹🙏 May this be used as encouragement. Blessings! PS. If you go there, may we suggest take a flower to the lady with the accent in hope it brightens HER day.

I’ve been to Scouts three times now and it is the perfect place for a reliably great cut for me or my six year old. Kerri is a delightful ray of sunshine. The beverage refreshments offer an added nice touch to a no-fuss place with a good vibe.

Scout’s is our go to spot for cuts for our five year old. We like the results and he likes the sucker! It’s a great atmosphere. Kerri is patient, a good communicator and gives a fabulous cut!!

Britt is amazing! I live in East and drive all the way to Franklin so she can continue to work magic. I have very dull and uninteresting hair and she makes it look pretty amazing, and actually look like it doesnt have the aforementioned characteristics. I feel pretty when I leave and its all Britt. Everyone is really nice here and the atmosphere is great. You can even get a beer before your cut and hang out after to finish it.

Was recommended by a couple people. Unfortunately I could not do the same. Went in for a “mid fade” haircut came out with a very bad uneven “high fade”. From the get go I knew that the woman that was cutting me was not experienced at all. I explained the haircut and also showed pictures to her. Unfortunately she was not able to cut my hair as expected. I’m not upset, I’m just very very disappointed. I did express to her my concerns for not cutting my hair as expected. She apologized while cutting my hair and told me it was only her 3rd day working. 🤷🏻‍♂️. With that said, I will not be coming back to any of the Scouts locations. I did tip her and also provided resources on how do a “mid fade” men’s cut. Again just super disappointed that I paid $30 plus tip for an unexperienced barber!

Pretty disappointing experience all around, from the rushed 15-minute haircut, to the terrible product recommendation (essentially offering me a hairspray), to the person cutting my hair being more concerned about the hairdressers conversation next to her. I won’t be back.

I had a nice experience went I got my hair cut at Scouts 4 months ago. Im a lady with chin length wavy/curly hair and wanted a cut to enhance my curls that remained very feminine. My stylist also has curly hair and understood. My cut has grown out nicely and I need to go back soon. It was a long wait time but that is because the stylists were very busy. Everyone was lovely here.

I had the best experience here! My hair dresser was Stephanie B. She took time to ask questions in order to learn exactly what I wanted her to do. She really came through, I got exactly what I was asking for! Just the most beautiful colors and excellent haircut. The shop itself is clean, and the decor lends itself to a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommended. I live in NJ and came to TN for a vacation.

The people that cut our sons hair were great, but the person running the front desk needs to work on their people skills, they were rude to us and very rude to the hairdresser, in front of us mind you she was only trying to help!

I was a fool to think I could cut my own hair all these years. I got my first professional haircut in a long time here a few weeks ago and it was an incredible experience to say the least. I really dig the atmosphere and the beer while I waited.When I walked in my hair was a terrible and abominable mess. The receptionist, Gena, was very pleasant and kind in spite of my rugged appearance. The stylist that helped me, Daniel, was very thorough and skilled, he had to be given the abysmal state of my hair! I received the best haircut I think I’ve ever had. I was instantly ten times more attractive and have gained more respect among my corporate peers. I think I’ll be getting that promotion.I will certainly be returning again soon for another cut and maybe have my beard trimmed, too!Thank you for the excellent service!

Great service with options to have coffee/beer/water while you wait. I have gone several times and been pleased with my haircut every time. I would recommend calling ahead or better yet scheduling an appointment. They do take walk-ins but are usually busy and wait times can surge during busy hours.

My husband, after waiting over an hour, showed the stylist what he wanted. After saying she was finished, he expressed it wasn’t quite as short as he had asked for in the beginning and she told him he shouldn’t want it too short and left it there. I feel like if the customer is expressing they are not getting what they paid for, it’s not always up to the stylist to give their personal opinion.

If Im being honest I am disappointed in the service I received. My stylist was personable and nice but even after being very thorough and specific with what I wanted, my hair didnt really look the way I wanted it to which was disappointing considering how much more they charge for a haircut. I asked for up to an inch off of the top and some parts of my hair were cut 2 inches or more. Also I still had neck hairs that were missed and I had to fix it myself. I liked the place a lot but this was honestly not acceptable.

Really nice atmosphere with an industrial/warehouse look, friendly service and really tasty iced coffee. Danielle cut my hair and it looks really nice, and the whole experience was quite laid back and pleasant. The price was reasonable, especially for being in downtown Franklin, so Ill definitely be coming back.

We saw Kerri and she was absolutely fantastic! Best haircut my 11 year old has ever received. We will definitely be going back to see her.

This will be the last time I go here. My sons hair now butchered for a third time. They have a cookie cutter approach to fades and cuts to get you in and out quickly. Unreal.

I got my haircut by Amanda today and she was great. She was easy to talk to even though Im miserable with conversation, the haircut was good, and it didnt take forever like some places. They offered me a free cold brew coffee while I waited and it was actually quite good. Ill be returning to this place again.

I needed a beard trimming and my partner needed a trim and the kiddo needed to have a Supercuts haircut fixed. Scouts executed wonderfully and for a reasonable price. I was a bit worried by the whole no appointments thing but I can see how it works for them. Highly recommended overall.The parking and entrance situation is a bit weird but dont let discourage you!

Went in and saw the first available stylist because they do not take appointment I called an hour ahead they said that’s all they do. I asked for a light trim then asked for a little shorter on the sides she then proceeded to go extremely short on the side. When I got home I noticed around my ears she had just made 90 degree angles and the hair on the side was all un even and patchy. The next day a friend asked if I had a scar on the back of my head because there was a chunk of hair missing! She had taken a chunk right in the back of my head all the way down to the skin and not even mentioned it I definitely will not be returning very upsetting.

Got me in as a walk in but dang $34 later... it is pricy.

Omed is FANTASTIC!! I am new to the Franklin, TN area and came across Scouts as a highly rated barbershop in downtown Franklin. I must say, this place certainly is great. Everyone is very polite and welcoming, and they do a great job at making sure you feel comfortable in the shop. I personally have gotten my haircut by Omed a few times, and each time my hair has turned out GREAT. I cannot recommend him enough. That being said, each barber at Scouts is very knowledgeable, listen to what youre looking for, and good at what they do. You will not be disappointed. I definitely have become a loyal customer already!

Just moved to Nashville a few months ago, and having moved around a lot its always hard to find a good place to get your haircut, but this is the place! Brooke is awesome and always gives me the best haircut. She takes her time and always makes it look how I envision it in my head!

I’ve been going here for about a year and the haircuts are always on or off depending on who you get. I have never walked out of there with a haircut I like, I’m always having to grow it out and wait a long time just to go back and get another terrible haircut, I recently got a haircut there and it couldn’t be anymore opposite of what I wanted (like usual), and I tried to explain to her what I wanted and she just shut me down and hurried through the haircut, throwing me all over the place. I don’t know why I kept coming back but I will never step foot into that overpriced, great clips quality, barbershop. Go right ahead and get a haircut there if you want to look like an idiot.

Service: 5/5While the pricing for a mens haircut isnt as cheap as a place like Supercuts or Sports Clips, you get what you pay for. Amanda did a great job of not only cutting my hair well, but doing it efficiently. She asked enough questions to make sure the hair was the way I wanted, but not too much to where it felt like an interrogation. The cut itself came out very nice, with no crooked lines or weird proportions. I was complemented by several of my friends and family afterwards, which is always a good sign.Overall, the experience was really great and one I would definitely recommend to others. Appointments are not honored here. I waited 45 minutes past my appointment, and there were still 2 people ahead of me. I was given the impression I was up next twice during this time. This is beyond frustrating.

Very poor haircut, extremely harsh with clippers and did not seem to care at all about the client. Wouldn’t recommended this shop to others.

Walked in, they had time to take me right away and put a cold brew in my hand as the lovely lady brought my head back into shape. All for a great price. These guys and gals are a welcome addition to Downtown Franklin.
