I was so impressed with how they addressed the issue because it was actually kind of an easy thing to put back on the customer, but they took the experience to the top level of care and earned my business.They also took the time to explain things to me and even show me the problems my car had. Got the SERVICE 4WD message. Took truck in and they squeezed me in. Read the diagnostics and immediately said that with several messages, the usual culprit was the switch in the dashboard. They also said replacing it was the least expensive fix and definitely worth the first shot (I liked least expensive). They got the switch, installed it a couple days later and all was good to go. What I really liked was that several of the office staff (front and back) came out and chatted making me feel like a valued customer. Definitely they are now my go to mechanics!

My family and I were traveling from Northern indiana to our spring break destination of gulf shores Alabama. Franklin is our half way point. Our 08 impala made it to the stop light right before our hotel entrance. It was late on a Sunday and no places were open. They were wonderful to work with. We sort of figured out what our problem was with the AC and even got the part we thought that was broken. We left the car the night before our scheduled appt and by 8 am the next day they already had called us to tell us we were right but we also needed the same part for the other vent. The car was ready for us that afternoon and the bill was more than fair. They were recommended to us by friends and we will definitely use them again.

I have had Crutchers work on several of my cars and they have always done a great job. Most recently they worked on my sons car and they really went the extra mile to determine the root cause of the check engine warning lights he was getting. My alternator died on me on a Tuesday and Crutchers said they could repair it on Wednesday but the tow company took it to the wrong shop clear across Nashville! It took a day to even get my car to their shop! Crutchers not only let me know my car wasnt there first thing Wednesday and they worked with me to get my car repaired on my tight schedule when a new tow company finally got it to them and got it back to me within one business day. Their courtesy in the midst of all that chaos was incredible!! Everyone was so nice and worked with me, and their labor charges are quite reasonable as well (another solid perk)! They made sure my battery was charged and that everything was running smoothly. I highly recommend their shop, they have not only earned my trust, but their customer service is award winning as well!!!

I can not see enough good things about Crutchers Auto Repair. They are profession, quick and extremely efficient. Immediately after having my truck inspected I was given a call with an update on what was diagnosed and was given an estimate of what the repairs would cost as well as recommendations on what is absolutely necessary versus what may not be a crucial repair. In the end my old truck has had too many significant problems that exceeded the overall value so I did not have any services performed. That being said, I was not charged for the cost of the diagnosis and the thorough workup that was done. Crutchers has continued to keep me as a loyal client and I will continue to refer anyone to their business.

These guys are great! Its a testament in itself that they have serviced my Acura RDX from 37,000 miles to its present 388,000 miles. They have tried to talk me out if spending money more than reporting more repairs needed.

We have been bringing both our vehicles to Crutchers for the past several years. This past Friday we noticed a vibration and grinding sound in the brakes. Crutcher’s has just replaced them not so long ago. They were able to work us in on Friday August 7, 2020 without an appointment. They found that one of the pads was defective and destroyed the rotor. They replaced the pad and the rotor under warranty for no charge. This is the second time they have done that and I know without a doubt they are going to stand behind their work! Kirk White

These guys are great! Very honest, hardworking, and good people. They are a true local shop. They learn who you are and your vehicle. Repeat visits dont require you to constantly remind them of the work that has been done. They care to understand what your vehicles problem is. They will chat with you about what is going on, what work you might have done to it, or any information they can get to understand whats happening with the vehicle. Outstanding service! Not only were my cars mechanical problems promptly fixed, I was amazed at the superior customer service. Paul explained every step, set realistic expectations, and even helped arrange a ride so I could get home when I dropped off my car. After picking up my car Jamie contacted me to make sure I was satisfied. This was not a prefunctary gesture. I was confident that any concerns I had would be addressed to my satisfaction.

Nice enough but slow amd outrageous rates. Took 2 weeks to get a diagnostic on my suspension work. Fine. I mean didnt have an appointment so thats mostly on me. But then get quote for $950. I just had the same work done in Fairview at a shop fpr 618$. That being said I made a list of about 5 shops within a 1 mile radius of them and started called. It only took the first 2 shops with a $600 and a $570 quote before I decided to spemd 50$ on a tow and take it down the street and it was done about 4 hrs later...

This place is great and the people are kind and caring. I was traveling from Indiana to Florida and noticed a gas leak. We pulled in as the were closing but they stayed and fixed it. They were also on the phone trying to find me a rental car in case they couldn’t fix it. Great service and honest people.

I moved to Franklin, TN just over two years ago. I entrusted Crutchers recently to work on my sons pickup truck. The experience was amazing. The entire crew at Crutchers...Jay, Shay, Paul, and Zach (If I missed anyone, I apologize.) were all amazing. Everyone was so honest and helpful, and the repair was completed magnificently and affordably. Moving forward, all our family vehicles will go to Crutchers for our repair needs.

Harassing workers.

Called last week and spoke with Paul about the sound coming from under the hood. set up an appt for 9am today. called yesterday at 4:32pm to confirm my appt for 9am today. arrived shortly after 9am today to drop it off. i remarked how empty the lot was. i called at 3:11pm today to check on the car and they were just looking at it! they called at 4:51pm to tell me that they Think it is a belt and they have flipped it around so it wont make as much noise. this is my only vehicle and i need it to get to work tomorrow, which is shared with Paul. He responded that he wasnt sure that they had a belt to Actually Do The Job that needs to be done = replace the belt! he is to call me back! they close at 6pm!went back 1.5 weeks ago for water pump replacement. contacted Jamie directly and both he and Paul were very nice and professional. I am very pleased with the work and will definitely go back again.

Have been taking my 2012 Elantra to Crutchers Auto Repair for over two years. Tried other Williamson County automotive repair options, but only Crutchers has the technical knowledge and skill coupled with good customer service. If you are looking for straightforward and honest, this is the place.

I’m a new fan and will return to Crutcher’s. And it wasn’t because everything was perfect. But it was because the test of character is how you make it right. My car had been promised to me by midday. When I showed up, needing the car to get to a client meeting it was not ready. Miscommunication on their part. Then the Crutcher team did everything they needed to do to make it right. They apologized sincerely, proposed solutions and got me where I needed to be with no delay. They made it right.

Set appointment at 8:00A. Waited until 11:30A. Ask about my car, and was told it was being looked at at that time. Told the person who checked me in I was pretty sure it was the oil sending switch. At 3:30P he called and told me it was the oil sending switch, and it would be the following day before they could get the part. Clearly he was not being honest when he said it was being looked at at 11:30. Not sure of the purpose of setting an appointment at 8:00A if you cant look at the car until the afternoon.

Gave me an honest rundown that my vehicle wasnt worth the cost to fix, told me how to keep her alive as long as I can, and topped off my power steering fluid at ZERO cost. Theyve always treated me right, and after I get a new car, Im always going to go here until I move out of state.You cant compare their quality to another shop.

I was referred to Crutchers by Discount Tires after needing two front tires replaced. I really needed the front end alignment before I commuted twenty miles each way as this had been primarily why I needed new tires. Crutches staff was helpful and kind when I called and honest about saying they would try to work me in but it might be the next day before they could complete my repair. I had been home ill two days and eager to get back to work as a much needed nurse. I received a call @ 5:45pm that same day my car was ready. My car broke down (the day after I paid it off- wouldn’t you know?!) and I had it towed to another repair shop. They said it was simply out of oil and did an oil change, and sent me on my way. It broke down 3 days later, completely out of oil again. The same place looked at it again, and said there were no issues. I called Crutcher’s and explained the issue- that there was an unknown source of oil leaking or burning. Derek told me to bring it in and they would find the source. My pcv valve was all messed up and long story short, they replaced it and he also told me of another issue that would cost $100. He advised me that it wasn’t a necessary item to do right then though. He very easily could’ve told me I needed to do it right then. They explained everything in detail, and even paid for a Lyft ride to take me home. I was treated fairly and kindly, and I will never go anywhere else. I brought it back later to have the other issue taken care of, and they didn’t even charge me to install the part. My husband will be coming here now too. Highly recommend! Thank you Derek and Jamie, and your wonderful crew!

We have taken all three of our family’s vehicles here for two or three years now and have spent thousands of dollars. I think we’re finished. Crutcher’s isn’t cheap, but I used to think they were fair. The problem is, I don’t recall a repair ever taking less than two days, and it’s often three. At the rates they charge, this shouldn’t be. I had my vehicle towed here on Monday morning for a right front axle replacement. Tentatively I’m to get it back at an undetermined time tomorrow (Thursday). Twice I’ve been told their parts suppliers have delivered the wrong part, three separate times. I don’t know how that happens. Maybe they need better parts suppliers.10/10/2019- This is an update to my prior post. Jamie Crutcher called me to make right what has gone wrong with my latest repair. He owned the errors in communication and explained to me, clearly and in a sincere manner, why this seemingly routine repair has been so difficult to complete. Nobodys service is perfect. How they respond when they fall short of expectations matters. I appreciate Jamie Crutcher responding the way he did.

We had a great experience with Crutchers. We are new to the area and were looking for a trustworthy mechanic - WE FOUND ONE! Shea was super friendly, knowledgable, accomodating, and HONEST. Ive never had a service before where Im quoted a price, and the actual comes in lower. I feel like most mechanics seek out problems with your car, and before3you know it you need to pay quite a bit extra. To top it off, they were willing to make arrangements for us last minute when they were clearly very busy.

It took them almost 6 months to 1/2 way fix my Moms 1987 Ford Taurus Station wagon. They said they they have no way of looking up information on that older car, but a simple Google Search brought up the info needed, but for some reason they do not let their Tech look up the Info or the Office Staff doesnt want to do a simple Internet search for information or even willing to run to Auto Zone to buy a Car Care Book to help.

There is simply not a better or more trustworthy place to take your regular vehicle in the Franklin area. My 2008 Nissan Frontier wouldnt start one morning and I had the vehicle towed to Crutchers where it was diagnosed with a failed ECU. The part was NLA from Nissan, so I had to patiently wait to find the matching part number on eBay. The guys at Crutchers were patient through the whole process as my truck was there at least three weeks just sitting out of the way. Once the part came in, they got it programmed and back running like nothing ever happened. Grateful to have a place locally that treats customers right and leaves me free of worry about getting sticker shock at the final bill.Update 5/24/2019: while on family vacation out of state, the AC went out on my wifes 2009 CRV and I had to take it to the local Honda dealership. When I got the repair estimate, I called Crutchers to see if what I was being quoted was fair or not and Paul at Crutchers graciously talked me through it over the phone. Thanks again, guys!
