Ordered a pair of shoes to be delivered to my apartment. The shoes were not delivered on the correct date because a signature was needed to sign off on package which is some what understandable. But when I tried to get in contact with facility to have my package picked up from said facility no one would answer phone (called 4-5 times) terrible service. Then instead of leaving said package to be picked up from facility they return package to the sender. I’d much prefer FedEx drop off my packages instead of this joke of a business.

Honestly great people working the pick up and shipping desks. Very well mannered and nice. Quick, efficient and knowledgeable about the works of the facility. Theyre even willing to take extra steps to assure you get what you need even if its technically not ready for you. Ive been here twice now and both times Ive met some sweet clerks. Keep up the good work! And I also enjoy the 90s house music that they play while you wait for them to go get your package! They got some hits lol

Avoid this place like the plague. 3 different UPS Customer service reps including a supervisor at the 1800 number said I can send an employee with a letter on company letter head to pick up a package they couldn’t deliver, as long as my employee has an id and as long as they have a company letter stating that they are authorized to pick it up. My employee gets there and they refuse to issue her the package. 45 minutes on the phone with customer service and a supervisor from customer service had to call them and send them a message telling them to this is UPS’s policy and for them to issue the package. I had one nice employee- their security officer call me apologetically, and say they will issue the package now. Great, my employee left with the package. Then I had a phone call by a begrudging employee telling me they won’t issue the package next time unless I follow more of her made up rules. I asked her whose rules are these? Obviously not UPS’s- customer service says nothing else is necessary. She wouldn’t answer whose rules they are. She said for next time- just so I know this is a courtesy call with all the rules for pickup. I told her not to worry next time I will be using FEDEX I’ve never had this problem with them.

Ordered a phone at tmobile, it was supposed to be delivered today by 7pm to our home. At 7:15 pm we were informed that the package is at the customer center, We asked to have it delivered to our home and have no way to get to Franklin park. I am really disappointed that we were not informed sooner. The pers9n that we spoke with contantly repeated we will receive a call back... terrible customer service

Dont know why I cant talk to a person in the Franklin Park UPS (3 miles away) instead of a person in the Philippines...why? The phone number is Franklin Park UPS #) I was told I would get a callback after driver was talked to,Never did,nor did I get my package that was supposedly delivered 3/10 @2:16 p.m. never had this trouble before....new drivers and or procedures?Hopefully my package will be found...

I wish packages wouldn’t get lost or stolen so often at this facility. It seems like only the good stuff gets lost for whatever reason. Then it takes for ever for someone to get back to you. Or for someone to go look for the package in the warehouse it sounds like there is no uniformity. I have worked in many warehouses and there is always a system when trucks come in to get unloaded obviously that is not the case here. Sound like their management are not doing their part.

Its sad to say, but most people that put up reviews on Google, are those that arent happy. I used to use this location to deliver water samples for the town that I worked for, which is extremely important that they get there as fast as possible because of time limits. .....and not once did I have a bad experience, or a package that didnt make it on time. The staff was wonderful, friendly, and more than happy to help.

I would not & never will recommend UPS to any of my friends, family or businesses. This company does not care about the integrity of others. If they did I would not have received legal documents. My documents were received to me opened may I stress that these were legal documents. They tape it back together the documents were barely ledgable sad. I feel betrayed Im living in fear of some one knowing my personal business. Becareful with this company UPS.

Took forever to receive my package. I updated my address information to make sure the package went to the right location two days ago and the driver drove around with it today and never dropped it off so it got delayed again! Ugh! No good customer service over the phone but in person the people were very friendly.

I have ordered a tv stand that required a signature for delivery, which is why me and my wife decided to wait at home excited for the package to come in. The tracking said it will be delivered between 2 and 6, and we were using the map tracker to see where the truck was. At around 3 he was really close to our apartment, but then all of a sudden started going back and ended up at the UPS location. At 6 the time for delivery updated to 9, but even until 8 when checking the map the truck showed to be still in the ups location. I called the number provided and the guy guaranteed that the driver will be there by the end of the day... he wasnt... a Saturday wasted because of terrible customer service

Im very upset this is a on going issue happens all the time Im tired. On 7/20/20 I waited on UPS from 8:00am until 5:30 p:m I followed my delivery time up until 5:30 the message kept saying out for delivery expect your package at the end of the day. Around 5:25 I check the status driver message said he attempted to deliver my package. he never ring my door bell . I paid for overnight delivery. This is happens often in our community. We deserve our package just like any other Community. Today ones again Im waiting been waiting since 8:07 AM check status out for delivery will deliver by 9:00 pm SMDH IM DONE IM TIRED OF UPS I WILL BE TAKING MY STORY TO THE NEWS I know that Im not the only one experiencing this. Arranged to have a package held here-there was an issue with my identification so I was told to return the next day to speak to a supervisor. This is understandable. The problem is when I returned the next day at the suggested time-no supervisor. Asked when she would be in and the answer was vague (some time this afternoon?!?) Will probably just cancel the order rather than waste more time. One star only because the employees were at least polite.

I DONT RECOMMEND USING UPS FOR CHANGE OF DELIVERY ADDRESS THROUGH THE ONLINE AP OR SPEAKING TO A REPRESENTATIVE TO MAKE SURE OF THE PROCEDURE. SO IT HAD TO BE REROUTED BACK TO FRANKLIN PARK AND SCAN OUT FOR DELIVERY THE NEXT DAY. I ASKED THEM TO REROUTE IT TO THE UPS STORE LOCATED IN ALBANY PARK ON WEST FOSTER AVE. I STILL CALLED CUSTOMER SERVICE TO VERIFY IT IT IN NDEED HAD BEEN DROPPED OFF AT FOSTER YET. I WENT THERE AND IT HADNT. UPS HAS HAS LOUSY UNPROFESSIONAL SERVICE. My package got delayed at this warehouse for polar vortex. They just decided to close down due to cold and leave my parcel in their warehouse. While the contents of it were not really temp sensitive, negative 30 damaged it. It was not very expensive but irreplaceable.They were not helpful whatsoever with updates. Not returning phone calls.I was at work that day and I see no reason for them to be closing down, without even giving me the chance to pick up myself. Which is what I would gladly do and offered to do. OHare dist center was open that day and the driver from that location delivered to my office. As far as Im concerned, this was the only UPS center closed.Unacceptable.

Had to ship a package to Dubai using the customers account information. Couldnt do it from the office and the UPS store in North Riverside said I had to go to the UPS hub to get it done. The lady at the hub was super nice and extremely helpful. Told me what I had to fill out walked me through the process, she even double checked all the forms for me to make sure I wouldnt have any issues. She made what could have been a headache into a easy transaction. In and out in under 15 minutes.

Was told I could pick up my packages at 7. Got there and waited an hour for them to tell me they messed up and locked it away. I was told I’d get my packages the next day (Saturday) before 3 and that they would guarantee that it went smoothly. Tracking info now says by end of the day Monday.

This UPS location sent a customer to my home to claim their mis-delivered package. When I called to complain about the fact that they gave my address out, they stated I should have left the package on the porch instead of taking responsibility for mis-delivering it. The better option would have been to send a UPS employee to recover the package.

The worst place to ever do business with. Be forewarned. The customer care center is a joke. I filed a claim for a package that was delivered damaged. My claim was denied. I didnt get a penny. I went to multiple physical locations and spent endless hours on the phone. Go USPS or FedEx.

This store either needs to retrain all staff or completely shut down, 60% of the time when I am sent a package and it does not get to me. on the web site it shows that its been picked up and is on its way and when it gets scanned into this store it is never found again. How does that happen?? the customer service is horrible and the supervisor ohhh god, whoever thought that these were good candidates to hold a position of high expectations like this also needs to get fired.horrible service.

I went in to pick up a package that I had missed same day and April checked me in, knew that the driver wouldn’t be there until later, but took the time to look it up and went a step further to check who the driver was and call to confirm he would return at a certain time. I am so happy that she took the extra step. I felt like she cared and honestly if she works there she knows the trucks were going to be in at a later time but went the extra mile to call and confirm. So impressed with her customer service. She deserves recognition and that’s why I write this. We usually write bad reviews, but forget the good ones. Thank you April! You are a great employee!

They took my package out for delivery then decided they didnt feel like doing their job and brought it back. When I called no one had a reason for doing this. I paid good money for three day shipping. Apparently that means nothing to them as my package was then a 7 day delivery. They only have one job and they cant do that right. Since they took over my area as the main delivery agent, Packages are consistently returned to amazon because of failed delivery without me even know. The driver doesn’t even ring the bell or leave a note. The only way I find out an attempt was made is by the amazon app notifying me of the attempt I look outside no ups truck insight. And next they I look at the tracking only to see my package being returned to Amazon. If it’s a package from target they just drop it off at the nearest store only to find out it’s not there and we now have to go and investigate where the package is. Horrible service and I have a feeling they do this on purpose to attain more business and show corporate that they have to much business. It’s a small ups center that needs to be shut down.

Driver never rang the doorbell, then a notice was left on the door for me to pick up my package from the access point. I went to the access point and they say that the UPS man hadnt even been there. For some reason my packages go through this center to get to me..Every single time I am waiting mail from UPS, my packages always go missing. I dont know if its the same incompetent driver that delivers but its every single time. Ive written notes on where to leave packages, and to be called..but nevertheless when the packages are delivered rest assure I know that Ill to file a claim, and request sender to send it a different method. I live in Chicago. I wanted to apply to the UPS at Ohare airport, Was told to come to this facility for a interview. I decided to take public transportation there, so I took the train and then a bus to get to this place. When I went in for the interview, the person who interviewed me told me they cant hire me for the position because I live too far away from the airport, and that I need to apply to a closer location....really, I live in CHICAGO, that is close to the airport. I just wasted this money on public transportation just so to hear you say We cant hire you, why couldnt you tell me that in an email.

My UPS Next Day Air package was not delivered by this centers driver, tracking says not a reachable destination while all my other UPS packages deliver fine. cost me an entire weekend off urgent documentation and the same happens on Monday, had to drive 30 mins to and back to pick it up. The woman who works regularly (My last visit was in January, 2017) has absolutely NO Concept of Customer Service.You walk in and politely say hello, she impolitely doesnt utter a single word, forget about hello, she doesnt even speak to see what you need....just a grumpy frown, hand on hip, AtTiTuDe. Tell her what you need, pay,.... no thank you, no ... your change is $___.__, and definitely No Thank You, Come Again.This was not once, or twice... its every time, every customer. Watched the UPS driver roll right past my house on the west side without even attempting to deliver my package. Waiting on your trifling drivers all day for nothing. My complaint is more with UPS in general than this location. Its a pain to get to if you live in the city and dont have ready access to a car. The staff were mostly friendly and competent. As a company, UPS is beyond unhelpful. I had a crib delivered from Amazon expecting it to be dropped at my building. Got a delivery confirmation but no package. Turns out it was delivered to Franklin Park without notice. The staff at the delivery center couldnt find it initially because there was no address on the box, just my name and a ZIP code. Checked my order confirmation from Amazon and it had my full address...

There was only one person working the first desk. Had to wait 5 mins to be helped in the other side of the room to be helped. I asked if I could drop off my already labeled package. Her finest question, do you have an ID? I left my wallet at home, why would I need that. She said we have a new policy. It was enacted 2 or 3 weeks ago. I said thats funny I just dropped a package off at another location. They did not ask for any form of ID. She ended up taking the package and letting me off with a warning. Why on earth would I need an ID. Are they assuming we might be criminals? Absolute rubbish. Never dropping off a package here again thats for sure. UPS HR, if youre reading this, rework your offensive policy so people can enjoy shipping with your service.
