Great customer service by the gentleman that was at the counter (sorry I couldnt catch his name). Very attentive and patient. They also have the digital kiosk that is very easy to use. Good rates from what Ive been quoting.

Had a great experience with DHL delivering a package from Sydney. My package departed Cincinnati Hub at 06:30EDT and was delivered to my building in Chicago Near West Side 15:03CDT — which says a lot for the DHL Franklin Park Service Point that it passed through. It was delivered 4 days earlier than expected. Thank you DHL staff in Franklin Park!

Absolutely the worst delivery service in the history of delivery services. I received a message saying that a delivery was attempted and that recipient wasn’t home, but I was home all day as a matter fact, and no one ever rang the buzzer or knocked on the door. I called them and was told that the driver could not find my residence which left me perplexed since Amazon, ups, fedex and usps have no problem finding my address. I now have to send my packages to a service point that’s an hour away. What’s the point of paying for shipping if you’re still going to have to go out your way to pick up a package.

Its hard to believe a logistics company could fail so poorly at logistics after 50 years. If I could give less than one star I would. My package took two days to travel from Austria to Chicago; yet I am being told that I need to wait 5 days before I can pick it up locally. The package is in Franklin Park, IL, sitting there, but I need to wait. I also signed up for email notifications. AFTER the package arrived in the U.S. I finally received a notification that my package was picked up in Austria. I hope to never use DHL again.

This is the absolute WORST delivery company that I have ever dealt with. They had the suits for my wedding and they ensured delivery by end of day Friday. At the end of day Friday, they changed the status to delivery as promised... I didnt speak with anyone to change anything and they pushed to Tuesday. Which was after my wedding! We had to go spend $1,000 purchase new suits for the wedding. I have been requesting a call from a supervisor and instead of calling, they send a text that says sorry you missed my call I dont have any missed calls so that was a lie. You cant get in touch with anyone to give you a straight answer and I could have picked my suits up from them if I knew they were not going to deliver them. Its now Wed and still NOTHING! While they are complete garbage to me now, it still has not been delivered and no answers provided

DHL is a crazy company. I was thinking how are they delivering all around the world isnt it crazy? Really fast really. I was here for pick up some my order. The staff was very nice. They were really helpful and friendly. They found my stuff in just 5 minutes✔ parking easy and free✔ I added the photos which from front and back and inside. I saw bunch of countries flag inside. I am not sure how many was it but I saw Turkish flag too which is my country 🇹🇷 I found frame which was made in Turkey 😄 it was interesting😎 and besides you can see the shipment costs on the photos. To where and how big and how weight and you can check it. Its a good scale guys ✔

I hope i never have to wait on packages to be delivered with dhl again. every time they lie that delivery was attempted or my business is closed or just put that we have moved from our location. Customer service is a joke and rude. i paid extra for shipping to get my package here by 02/11/21 and first delivery was not attempted until 02/15/21. Today 02/16/21 they just updated that ive moved from the address (which i have not, and there has not been a DHL truck on the plaza for a few days, i checked my cameras ) . Now me and my customer are frustrated and stuck with no parts. They should make a option for negative stars

Package said delivered, was not delivered. I was home and i have home surveillance, there was no truck coming by nor anyone at the door.I contacted Keyro Castillo after filing a missing package report- recieved no response for days.Upon calling the facility they said he is not available and that they dont have the package.They told me to contact the seller to file a claim.Horrible service, i do not use this shipper by choice- it was the seller who selected them.I recieved someone elses package last year with no information to contact.When i contacted DHL about recieving someone elses package they told me to keep it.Despicable.

I had to return a package but was told by UPS in the city that they no longer collect DHL packages. So I drove all the way from the city to Ohare. This servicepoint is small but the staff is very friendly and provide fast services.

Like a lot of people are saying i wish i could give them zero stars. When their drivers “attempt delivery” they don’t bother to call or buzz a buzzer or anything. I heard nothing at first and thought my buzzer was broken but the next day that I rescheduled an amazon driver showed up and rang the buzzer and we were able to hear it and let him in. Sat around all day waiting for DHL and i hear nothing, i even taped a note to our door with my cell number and no calls. I call to have it arranged for me to go pick it up and i was told they “attempted to deliver it again” and no answer. Pretty odd that i was home all day and they couldn’t get a hold of me.

This location provides a terrible service. I was waiting for an important and expensive package which had to be delivered a week ago. I still didn’t get it. Had to wait a hour on hold, was transferred from one representative to another like 5 times. Nobody cares about your problem and their own responsibility. Called today they said I will receive it by the end of day but I didn’t receive it. This place is sucks. Employees have to be fired from the job. A bunch of lazy liars.

Terrible customer service came in requiring assistance to ship an international package and the person at the front desk just left!! She said ring the bell when you’re done. Went to FedEx instead paid more but received so much more assistance and a much more pleasant experience. Don’t know the name of the employee but I came in at 9:30 am Friday 10/23 at the Franklin park location

Takes 3 days for my package to arrive from China and it takes 4 days for my package to to get to me from the terminal that is 30 minutes away. HOW?

The worst service ever. DONT RECCOMEND.I had to get my very important papers with DHL. They lost my package and Im at least happy that they found it after so many calls, hours spent waiting on the line. Delivery supposed to be with a courier but they just dropped my very important documents in the mail room where whoever could take it. NEVER EVER WILL USE DHL AGAIN!!!!!!

I have never experienced ANY delivery service fail to deliver a package on the scheduled date (with time to spare), only to NOT EVEN ATTEMPT a delivery the following day. DHL was a first in that regard, and now I not only have to wait until next business week for a time-sensitive and expensive item, I have no guarantee that the delivery driver will fail again the next time around. The horror stories in these reviews about lost packages and drivers fraudulently claiming delivery dont give me much confidence.DHL is doing horrible logistics in the Chicago area. I dont know if its that they are trying to cover too much area with too few delivery facilities, or if their employees are just a whole notch lower than even the worst delivery services. Never using them again, even if they are the only available option.

Worst customer service i have ever seen, no one pick the call while trying to get the information about my package. When chatting with online agent, they ask me to go this DHL express location, when i went and enquire about my package they ask me to contact customer service. Who is actually doing work here, you guys are making people do roam around here and there. I was asked to contact their customer care number, no one answering. Waste of time to trying to reach those. There is no alternative number either. I never ever use this DHL for sending any packages and also recommended my friends not to use this service.

I can’t say enough positive things about DHL! I order a lot of packages from England and they always arrive the NEXT DAY! Crazy how a package from England can get here faster than one from Ohio! DHL is by far the best courier out there!

Update: Ive since has another 2 packages come through this place, both being at least a day or 2 latewatch out if they put Scheduled for delivery as agreed. Youll most likely have to contact support for when the delivery will be because it wont be updated beyond that and it will certainly be late at least a few days. my package was due Thursday and I didnt get a notification til next Monday when it arrived at my house. Even now, the website is still stuck on Scheduled for delivery as agreed.

This particular distribution facility seems to be a disaster. It took my package two days to arrive here from Korea, but then the package is stuck at Franklin Park without moving at all for 10 days now... 10. Freaking. Days. They keep “updating” the delivery date without actually loading the package onto a vehicle and/or attempting a delivery. I am contacting DHL by all means, calling, emailing, even Twitter DMs with no avail; they say it’ll be out today for multiple times now, which simply does not happen. If this behavior persist for a few more days, I’ll have to place a dispute via my credit card company to just cancel the entire order and not bother with them anymore.

I do most of my shopping online and get international orders delivered to me via DHL service. I can’t believe how poorly this company does its job.I can only speak about Franklin Park, IL facility and their drivers, they’ve been successfully messing up my orders for the last year. I even discovered some pattern in the way their drivers perform : if you confirm delivery without signature, you are more likely to get your package delivered on time. If you insist on signing, they will keep you waiting for days!One time DHL driver marked order as delivered, even though I didn’t receive it not have I signed for it. I call them right away, the dispatch at DHL said they will investigate. I called customer service of the website I ordered the product and since it was quite an expensive item, they made DHL follow up with their “investigation”. Four days passed, I get a call after 6pm from some guy, claiming he is the driver and wants to deliver my package. I wasn’t home, he got angry. I told him he can meet my husband who will sign for it. “I can’t find your address”, the driver said and asked for description of our townhouse. At that point I called my husband and asked him to go outside and look for a DHL truck. Fortunately, he was able to caught up with him before the guy left.On another occasion, my shipment was stuck at their distribution center for days, no status update, no help from the customer service. Like someone has already commented before, it makes you wonder how come that a shipment arrives from Italy to the US overnight and then is on hold at some distribution center, 12 miles away from my home for days?!Oh, and if you happen to schedule a pick up, don’t be surprised if three different drivers come throughout the day to get that package. Apparently, the system is so messed up, they don’t even get notified on time that the package has been picked up.

Zero stars if possible. Speaking specifically for Franklin Park, IL. The courier comes to the building door, doesnt bother calling because the entry into the building is restricted, and leaves a note. We call the customer service and he schedules a delivery the next day, and it shows on the website for the whole day until we call to check again and find out the parcel isnt out for delivery after all. The customer service rep. changes the delivery date again! Both the courier and customer care are HORRIBLE! How you guys are still in business is beyond me!

I have used DHL twice in the last couple months for packages from Japan since EMD and Standard International is so messed up.The packages always fly while in DHL hands. Usually go from Osaka Japan to Franklin Park IL in about 24 hours.Then they hand it off to USPS. Which I never asked them to do and never would’ve told them to. I’d rather drive the few hours to Franklin Park than have them hand anything over to the horrible disaster that is USPS.Both times, as soon as it hit USPS hands, tracking stopped entirely. Then the package also seems to just stop. It takes USPS usually about 5 times longer to deliver a package a few hours, than it does DHL to bring a package from Japan to Illinois.I give DHL 3 stars for moving quick but they also hand it off to the worst company to ever exist without my permission or the senders permission.

If I can I would rate negative 5 for not service and not delivery on time ....my package has arrived three days before and still I didn’t get update and when u call them it take one hour to get connected....and hold for 20 min and last they transfer your call to other departments....i will never use DHL from now .....they should close Franklin park location...

Horrible! I am upset the vendor I used goes through you all for shipping. The fact that your driver/delivery person decided to come into my home in between the people who were delivering appliances without permission is absurd. You still need to ring the bell and have the owner take/sign for any packages. Who just walks into someone’s home and when confronted states the delivery people were doing it?

Ive been waiting for a package that has beenon hold in Franklin Park, IL for past two weeks undelivered and no attempts to deliver.

Place is a joke... My package was suppose to be here today and it never came and it was out for delivery and when it didnt come I contact them and they say were sorry it was lost... theres nothing we can do... contact the place where you got it and ask for a refund... such a joke... never again will I use DHL... Ill stick to ups and fedex...

Their delivery dates mean nothing. Packages always arrive later than guaranteed. Plants arrived dead after sitting in their warehouse for so long.

After a mix up from a seller on Etsy I was sure I’d miss my shipment I needed for an event, but the staff here went above and beyond to assist me!Marie was very personable and polite at the front desk, and supervisor Jason Kim was awesome with helping me have my package transferred from the Midway location. If permitted, I would have given zero stars for their service. There was an international courier which was missing. The status got changed to delivered and within 3 to 4 hours, the package went missing. When I spoke to the customer service, they said that the vehicle was parked near my building so the courier has been delivered. Also for the documents which needs to be signed for delivery were left at the building entrance without getting a signature. There guys are very irresponsible. Never going to order a package which involves DHL again.

I’ve had several packages sent to me through DHL. In my experience, when they arrive in Franklin Park, they are next sent to an incorrect DHL facility 100% of the time. This results in a delay of at least a day 100% of the time. Expect disappointment, and you will save yourself from being let down by this DHL 100% of the time. Update: today marks my 12th consecutive package sent through this facility which was then sent by them to an incorrect facility, delaying the arrival by at least one day. At least they are consistent!

If your package goes through this location expect to wait an extra week - EDIT, a few deliveries have actually arrived early, but usually your delivery date is way too optimistic -Edit no longer live where they service, but most of my last deliveries were on time or early, changing from 1 to 3

Definitely use UPS or FEDEX. Ive never been so frustrated with a carrier service. Even the USPS might be slightly better than DHL. I didnt have a choice in choosing them. I bought something online from a UK department store and they used DHL. So now Im wasting my time and energy to try and get my package delievered. The package is now over a week late. All they ever did was text me to say I need to follow a link to fill out a customs form. I follow the link and it takes me to a page that has 20+ forms. So I assume its the Apparel form because I ordered a bag and a dress. But the form is asking what country the object is manufactured in, what material is it made of, etc. HOW THE HELL AM I SUPPOSED TO KNOW?!?!? I havent seen what I bought! I call their customer service, they say that someone from DHL will get back to me in 2 hours. 3 hours goes by...and not a peep. So I called back, and now they put me on hold to speak to someone in the customs department and currently the hold time has been OVER AN HOUR (well, I guess I should count myself lucky they havent dropped my call...yet). After this review, Im going to email the customer service people at the UK department store and tell them to NEVER USE DHL, EVER AGAIN. If my next package is going to get delivered by DHL, Im just going to order my items from a different department store that DOES NOT USE DHL.

As far as the facility itself and the woman behind the counter it was great. But everything leading up to the delivery of the package was quite complicated and not nearly as transparent as using FedEx. I had to drive out there to pick up my package because it was shipped from London and had customs. FedEx sends you a bill instead and delivers the package.But twice this place told me that my package was going to be delivered, two days in a row, and it never happened.

Terrible service. My 3 packages from India haven’t been delivered to me yet. It’s been more than one week and it shows they still have them in this DHL location at Franklin IL. I might have to go there in person to get my packages. It’s Saturday today and they are closed on weekends. I will go this Monday. Very disappointed and frustrated because of this.

Horrible! Horrible! Frustrating!, A package didn’t go missing in Nigeria! But got to Chicago and was delivered to a neighbor that no one knows on the block! Seriously? I’ve been calling these people cos my instinct told me something might go wrong, they came to a house(not an apartment complex) everybody was home, the courier person didn’t ring the bell, didn’t knock on the door, left a note saying they missed me, guess I was supposed to leave my front door open! Then I called on Wednesday saying they should please give me their address cos I was ready to go pick up my package myself, the lady responded saying “we don’t do that cos of security reason” but their driver could leave my package with a neighbor the day after I asked for this! Till date I don’t have my package, I’ve on been on the block looking stupid, gone to the so called neighbor’s house, they don’t go by that name, no contact information of this neighbor at all, the driver said the lady was just standing in front of the house, but their tracking device read that the guy was standing in front of like six houses away from mine, now! The driver is off work and they still can’t find my package! These people can ruin someone’s life and future! What’s in there is certificates, contacts and statements! This is really really really bad!

I wouldnt use DHL again if theyre to be the only international courier as their service is the worst. A package that was shipped from Johannesburg South Africa we paid $268 for priority delivery and instead of two days it took DHL 7 days to deliver the package. I called them and told them that this was coming to an office and we waited all day and at 7:30pm I got an email telling me that they were at my office to deliver the package but the office was closed. I received my package this afternoon, shipped from China. It arrived on its scheduled delivery date 🙌. Driver did what I requested which was to place package inside my door.I read several reviews prior to receiving package so I was anticipating the worse, but I was pleasantly surprised when my package was dropped off on time.Thank you DHL for getting it right this time. 🙌👍😄. Never gives updates on your package. Package has been in the warehouse in sorting facility for 5 days now. Supposed to be delivered by the end of the day today (8/26) I highly doubt it will be delivered. Based on the reviews I probably won’t receive it until next month.
