I have called everyday for a week sometimes more than once just to get someone to come pickup the trash that they didn’t get on the scheduled day and still no one has picked up the trash. The only reason I gave them one star was so I could leave a comment otherwise they would have got a negative 5. We just moved to this house a couple weeks ago so we have all the moving trash plus regular trash and we was told to use the cans left here and I can’t get any answer of why they keep passing us up so now I have a garage full of trash bags. You all do win the prize for being the most aggregating part of this move.

I highly recommend any other trash service company; it has been a nightmare cancelling services since March 31st just before the next billing cycle. Two months later still dealing with unresolved issues.Every year they will increase your bill without any notice, ours was increased by $20 for two years. I’ve had to reschedule a can removal day three different times because somehow they couldn’t find our address to remove the trash can. A local representative reached out to me explaining his guys messed up and claimed the removal fee would be waived. There is obviously zero communication between the departments and no ownership of decisions made because now I have a past due notice for the removal fee that was supposedly waived. We have called the local representative back and he said he doesn’t deal with billing, that we would have to contact customer service.Do Not Use Republic Services for residential trash services; it is a nightmare if you are unsatisfied with anything. If you enjoy overpaying for trash services, then go for it. I’d rather take my trash to the local trash center then deal with Republic Services again.

Terrible they missed my recycle fri i have called every day since its now wed they still havent picked it up, everytime i call they would say they be here next day its now day 5 and still hasnt came ridiculous

I am a Frankfort resident and business owner. I have had great experiences every time with Republic Services. They consistently provide great service to me and my business.

Been paying for two dumpsters for nearly three years they never delivered the second dumpster we had our own dumpster they were picking up and just out of the blue they said they can’t pick it up called customer service which is a run around and absolute joke finally got our second can and they charge me $57 for their incompetence this company is a joke poor communication drivers are rude and down right lazy it’s like they feel they can do whatever and charge whatever because most everyone needs this service if I could give negative stars I would pathetic!!!!

Quick and easy to get rid of items regular trash wont take. Also, free on Saturdays if you get the voucher (Franklin County, not sure about other counties)

Wont pick the recycling up for weeks & then when i have to put boxes in my other cans they wont pick them up! what on earth. they even broke the lid off of one of my cans throwing it around. why are they so mad?

I wish I could just get a call back. I recently closed on a house in Lawrenceburg and previous owner left a full trash can. Been calling for days and cant even get a call back from republic services!

The absolute worst in every way. If I could pay someone else to pick up my garbage I would.

They are currently charging me 3 times as much as the person who lives right beside me, $400 for the year for trash pick up is ridiculous! They cancelled my account for no reason, then said I needed to pay more money upfront when they couldnt even tell me why it got cancelled in the first place. Just ridiculous!

They missed not one but two routine pick ups. It started with last Tuesday where my trash was not picked up. We called them and were told they would pick it up the next day, Wednesday, and that never happened. We called again and were scheduled for a Friday pick up which again, never happened. We called Friday and were told it would be picked up Tuesday of the following week. Which, not to my surprise, was not picked up again. I am STILL dealing with this issue.

Worst trash removal service in place ever and dont bother calling if you have issues. They are the most uncaring and rude people Ive ever had to deal with . They frequently miss trash days because of truck problems and they make a mess when the can is full and trash will be spread all over the neighbors yard. One woman I talked to was yawning in the middle of my phone call. Now Im concerned about the woman I spoke with on the phone with my issue and wonder if I should send someone there to check her pulse.

WORST Trash Company I have ever used. Missed pickups that are rescheduled then missed again. Took my cans for no reason and had to have them brought back. Billing seems inaccurate and why pay for a service you arent even receiving? Pickup person was rude. Customer service is a complete joke. Just awful! In every way!

Supposed to have trash cans delivered today. Of course no one showed. Now im picking up trash that the animals have tore unto my trash.

This is the by far the worst trash company I have had in my 43 years!! I had countless missed pick ups and when I called them they would say they would pick it up the next morning and still would not show. Then, when I cancelled my service, they charged me 60 dollars to pick up the 2 cans. When they were the ones who voided our contract to make sure my trash was picked up! And you cant get anywhere with customer service!!! This place is horrible!!!

Horrible Trash Company that increases prices for no reason. I’ve been paying the same price for trash for 5 years and then all the sudden my bill goes from 31.44 to 48.00... double. I definitely wish Anderson County would CAN them.

I am supposed to have recycling pickup every other week, but no one seems to want to pick up my recycling. I have to constantly call. Then customer service will tell me I promise someone will call you, or I promise it will get picked up today. These are all empty promises.I was scheduled for a missed pickup today and watched the truck drive straight on by me. I had republic services in Phoenix Arizona and never had a problem with recycling pick up. Its as if they dont want me to recycle here in KY. Trash pickup is regular, why cant they get recycling right. And no office phone number in Frankfort so I can get this straightened out.

I paid for my trash services and they still took my trash cans today. I have 5 kids. I need my trash back today. They also said itd be 7 days before I got them back.

ZERO STARS - THE WORSEST CUSTOMER SERVICE POSSIBLE. AFTER 2 1/2 MONTHS OF CALLING THEM, EMAILING AND LACK OF RESPONSE AND BEING PUT AS HIGH PRIORITY AND RED ALERT THEY STILL CANNOT FOLLOW THROUGH WITH PROMISES OR COMMITMENTS. THEY CANT EVEN PICK UP THE DUMPSTER ON TIME AND CORPORATE DOES NOT CARE AT ALL THEY WILL CONTINUE BILLING EVEN WITH THE ISSUES AND COMPLAINTS.HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!!

Just moved into new home call for service an get it. Get my bill an its over a hundred dollars, I call in to ask why so much an get told they only do yearly payments. I never heard that before an asked any way they can change it an get a no. So I pay more than half an next week they take my recycle bin an now they came an took my trash can an closed my account. Never sent another bill saying pay or cut off. I call back in an now they want 75 bucks to start it again an charge me to drop off cans. They can go screw themselfs Ill drive to the dump myself.

What I know about this company is that they sent out an old beater of a hauler onto busy interstate 64. Said dented and mangled hauler had a payload of gravel and a TARP covering to try to prevent gravel from blowing out in addition to the gravel freely falling through the rusted shell of a 1970’s dump truck. The rust missile was blocking traffic by driving in the left lane and fluctuating speed between 60 and 80 to mirror the poor semi driver in the right lane attempting to get away or let him pass. Meanwhile 6 tons of gravel trickles out and bounces off of the blacktop at these speeds, peppering every vehicle within a half mile. Now I’m staring at a fresh spiderweb in the windshield of my new vehicle and probably hundreds of paint chips to match.

After pick up of trash by Republic, there are always pieces of trash on the street and in the yards. Poor quality.

I have had service with Frankfort branch Republic in Lawrenceburg for a year. The past 6 months they have missed at least once a week on a Thursday pick up and tell me I have to wait until Monday for their services. Their incompetence is becoming clockwork and the rates just increased?
