If I could give a negative star rating I would. You pay $50+ tax for full package and you still have to get it redone 3x. Pay for mats to be cleaned, they dont clean them or put them back properly and connect them to the latches. The dont vacuum the entire thing as paid for and requested at check in so you dont have to wait for it to go through again. The exterior has to go thru the full service multiple times to get it clean and still be washed on your own to get the bugs off the front. The outside is swarming with bees so if youre allergic be careful. Got in my car with bees swarming in it. They try to upsell you right at beginning to a full detail $300 without you even asking for it. Refused to refund me. Had to go to another place and wash it again.

Pretty cars, beware!! Leather and paint damage.Francis & Sons is a high-volume, mid-priced car wash, and its a really convenient alternative to the self-service tunnels out there.Just beware of two things before you take your shiny new car to Francis and Sons:1. They will destroy your leather dashboard with their plastic shine chemical. But its not their fault because thats part of the car wash package.2. You will get micro scratches (spider-web scratches), just like any mechanical touch wash.I noticed the plastic shine product on my last cars leather dashboard, but it was a polished leather and the shine wasnt too conspicuous. I knew it would damage the leather over time (dry and crack), but I didnt mind too much.... Until I took my car with a napa leather which is a softer, raw leather. The kind of leather that should never have a polish.it shined like a cheap plastic dashboard 😪After avoiding the car wash for a few months, I decided I would go in as I drove by this morning and let them know that not all dashboards should have their plastic shine applied to them.The response they gave me blew my mind: did you ask us not to use any product on the dashboard?- Well, no!!Which wash do you ask for when you come?- The VIP wash.It says on our menu that we will shine the dashboard🤪🔫Unbelievable!!So I went home to get my prepaid cards and ask for reimbursement. The store personnel told me I would have to call corporate and try to speak to the owner to ask for reimbursement.Seriously??Lesson learned: do NOT assume that they know how to treat a nice car. They are a high-volume wash and their process, understandably simple, is a one-size-fits-all.My advice is to stay away with luxury vehicles and proceed with caution on any new car you consider taking there.Does anyone want to buy my 7 remaining prepaid washes?! Lol!

Remember as you read the reviews left on this business that you can always go and support them and then base your own opinion. We live up north about 200 miles away and we ALWAYS stop here as soon as we pull in to get the vehicle washed because they do such a fantastic job! They’re always so friendly and they’re very efficient, I wouldn’t take my vehicles anywhere else in the valley! I promise you, you WONT be disappointed. Give them a try, they’re amazing! 💜

Ive been going to Francis & Sons for about 4 years and truly enjoy this place. Ray and I frequently have good conversations and it is always such a pleasure to work with him. The rest of the staff are always pleasant as well. The monthly car wash plans are very good, too.

Paid 24.99 for vacuum and washing in already clean car. They did a poor exterior job and hardly vacuumed. I keep a nice car, so guess they thought they didnt need to check or even attempt.Called and returned immediately and the manager, Ray met us to argue that I didnt pay enough for a good job. He stood and arguedeven though he acknowledge they hadnt vacuumed. He was rude, argumentative and sorry, smelled so badly, it ruined the interior of my car. I left after he began slamming seats and doors. Dont go here until different management

For $37 dollars you can get a professional, perfectly done wash and inside detail! I was so pleased at the job they did. Wonderful!!!!!

Weve only lived in Rio Verde for two months now, and decided to drive down to Fountain Hills and try these folks out. My Jeep Cherokee, a 2017, sparkled all the way home!! This place discriminates! Today my husband who is of color went to get his 2007 Chevy truck washed. It’s a work truck and we live up north so it was muddy due to snow. When it was his turn he pulled up, he was greeted by a worker who promptly said they couldn’t clean his truck. Fountain Hills is a rich area and no other car wash would clean his truck under 60-70 dollars. My husband replied wow really? The worker said again yeah this place is for rich people sorry. What’s terrible is we also own a Porsche and were welcomed with open arms the last time we were there. That was the last time we will be going there.

Im writing in with a review on Ray, one of the technicians at Francis & Sons. Ray has been extremely helpful, and helped me settle confusion on billing from the Covid-19 shut down. The service here is excellent, value is top notch, and I cannot thank Ray enough for the personal help he offered during a confusing time. :) Thanks!

I’ve always liked the concept of this place, driving up for free self use vacuums and getting a car wash. I’ve been coming here with my sonata for the past 3 years almost. The car is a beater so it didn’t matter if the paint looked perfect. I however got a Mustang Gt and since November, I’ve been bringing it over to francis and sons to get the $15 car wash. Now here I am about 5 months later and the car is completely covered in scratches, and the only time I ever wash my cars is going to Francis and Sons. I’ve probably gotten 10 or more of those washes in the span of 5 months, the car has only 22k miles and it looks like it has over 100,000 miles. Now I’m gonna have to dish out a lot of money for paint correction. The brushes and additives that they have in their automatic car wash only leaves the car scratchy, not “shiny” as they say. If you have a car that’s a complete beater, getting free vacuums and the wash is a great idea, and that’s what I’ll continue to do with my sonata. But if you have a nice expensive car, do NOT take it through that car wash unless you don’t care about your car looking like sh*t.

We took a road trip out to Fountain Hills from Minnesota to visit our parents. Covered 1300 miles of open road and the car was littered with bugs!Service tonight was EXCELLENT. I wish we had a Francis and Sons out in MN. The local car wash costs twice as much and the service is crummy compared to these guys. Very very satisfied!!!Keep up the great work guys!! Would rate more than 5 stars if we could.

Love this place! Always do an outstanding job! Was there last week and the car wash part missed a few places. After drying and cleaning, Mike (or John?) the NEW detail manager took my car to the vacuum area and wiped down the inside, again, and opened the hatch to re vacuum. This location is very lucky to have recently hired him.

Just left Francis and Sons Fountain Hills and I got the worse clean I have ever experienced. Vacuum job was what a 6 year would do.Top it off they broke a button on the door that controlled the seat rest and the manager said go to the dealer and buy one. Thats a manager at Francis and Sons. He also said it s your word again ours and he wasnt even there. No wonder they are not busy.

Got the $18.99 deal for an exterior wash and dust and vacuum the interior. The exterior was done good but they did an horrible job with interior, dust was left all over the place the mats were not moved to vacuum underneath and around the seats. How hard is it to vacuum and dust off? Apparently very hard for these guys. If I only wanted to wash the exterior I would have done it for $7.99 at Costco. Do a good job If you want repeat customers

I rarely write reviews, but Ive been a customer for 10 years and they have always done a consistent good job. If anything is wrong, they correct immediately. Just had a total in and out detail done on my truck and it looked absolutely perfect. Like new. It was the most meticulous cleaning and polishing I have ever seen. I made a point of finding out who did the majority of the work and personally thanked her for the fabulous job.

Friendly staff and the best $15 car wash Ive ever gotten! I was impressed. They have some good loyalty programs too for free washes and what appears to be a one or two week clean warranty (not sure what that entails exactly). Would come back and recommend to a friend no hesitation. Got in and out quicky.

Just got done getting my MKX detailed. A bit pricey, hence the four stars, but they did a excellent job. My car was filthy, like embarrassed to give people a ride dirty. And now it looks almost as good as the day I bought it!. Steve set me up and delivered what he said.

I have been going to Francis and Son’s car wash in Fountain Hills for 3 three years and can’t beat the wash and service. Being a OCD type of guy I want my vehicles done a certain way and the Manager Ray, Steve and his employees Mac, Isaac certainly take care of that expectation. Great Car wash !

This place used to be great, but now it is very poor. Never been to a car wash where the wheels are not part of the cleaning. Also frequent breakdowns of their automated system. Management doesnt seem to care about customer service

I have used the full service several times and each time has been a terrible disappointment! Typically the car is poorly vacuumed and was completly missed on one occasion. You really have to check the work that has been done to see if youre getting what you paid for...Tire dressing, air freshner etc.Not a lot of effort put in to it by any of the employees and apparently no management to oversee that. But they are quick to try and upsell you!

Ok guys let’s get real here, I’m standing outside my vehicle waiting to be helped while the Pedro guy who’s supposed to be helping me is standing right in front of me watching YouTube videos on his phone with a headset in his ear. After about 12 minutes I was going to leave and he says “you ready??” This guy had the worst freakin attitude I’ve EVER encountered. I’ve been coming here for I don’t know how many years now but this is the LAST TIME I will EVER waste my time and money here!!! Maybe you guys need some customer service seminar or something or maybe you can teach your guys to say hello and goodbye or even thank you would be great as well. I’d rather drive 15 miles out of my way then to come back and be greeted by this moron!!!

Prices are okay, but no matter what package I get, my Jeep still leaves dirty. I had the top package purchased and my windows were all streaked. I re did all the windows at home. The condition the plastic but always miss spots.the only great thing is the vacumes for free cause when they do it they miss spots

Just brought my 2018 vehicle in and was told they dont/wont wipe down the back seats (leather) with a damp rag (even with their most expensive wash package). They actually tried to tell me that no car wash offers this service (totally false). I live in Fountain Hills and always try to frequent local businesses but, from now on, Ill drive down Shea to another companys car wash rather than spend $35 + tip, and still need to go home and finish the job.

This place needs new management I came in for a hand wash with my brand new car and they were about to run it through the car wash machine, hand wash was $40 and I asked them to not touch the inside or Armor All.

I went in to have my car washed. I wasnt sure which package to choose. The guy helping me said if you take the Ultimate VIP wash which was $27.99 for $ 40 more we will clean & condition the interior dash, doors & seats. I told him no I dont want to spend that much, so he said what if I only charge you $ 25 for the interior ?, so I agreed. When they were finished I walked over to my car to find the tire rims were still a slightly dirty, it wasnt dried properly so there were were spots on the grill & bumper, the interior looked like it was merely dusted, carpets werent vacuumed, seats werent clean. I called the same guy over to show him the job that was done. He was very nice & apologized. He called a worker over & told him what needed to be done. I waited another 15 minutes to find he didnt do a good job either. I called the guy back over. He apologized again & said he was very sorry, he will personally make sure the job is done right. I had no more time to wait so he said come back tomorrow. Which I did. What can I say it was better but not perfect. Needless to say I will not be back. Next time my car needs to be washed I will either do it myself or ask my nephew. Im sure he would do a much better job.... especially if I paid him over $50 to do it.

Always mediocre service at this place. Got the ultimate wash and still had bugs stuck to my hood and windshield, and they only wiped down half of my Dash.

I bought a car that was so oxidized you couldnt tell it was a metallic paint job. These folks brought it back to life, scrubbed and cleaned the interior, eradicated a sour milk odor, and generally did a beautiful job. I only read other reviews after this experience and was surprised at all the complaints. I have none, only praise. These folks worked so hard in the July heat and I want to tip my hat to them. Thanks, folks! I hope my review brings your ratings up!

HORRIBLE SERVICE!!!!! I spent 45 minutes at this place and my truck was far from being completed. They spilt soda or something sticky on my dash, failed to clean it up. And somebody doing the hand wash was smoking a cigarette inside my truck and now my trucks interior smells like a cigarettes. VERY upset with this service and will never come back. The workers appear to be lazy, and they are rude. Do not go to this car wash. You are better off washing it yourself. Its a waste of time and money. They do a piss poor job.

The Car wash broke both of my side mirrors. When I showed the Manager, he stated dont you read the signs, we are not responsible for anything I have a restored and well kept Jeep Grand Cherokee, and now I have two broken mirrors. I have been a regular customer for over 13 years at the Via Linda location and the Fountain Hills Location and have very satisfied until about 2.5 weeks ago I purchased an ultimate wash,and there was only 2 people drying the cars,not only was it the worst experience as I was there almost 1.5 hrs and the job done was very bad.Today I had another Ultimate wash and it was bad as well.I think the Fountain Loacation needs training or something, I will go only to Via Linda in the future.

Had to remind them to finish my car. Perhaps they were too busy. Will try them again.

Paid $15 for a basic wash... when they were finished, the dash and driver door handle (which was one of the dirtiest things in the car) were still dirty. To their credit, the gentleman that I pointed it out to took care of it, thank you! However, his explanation was that they only dust with a dry cloth on the basic wash. A damp cloth is only used in the detail cleaning. I happen to think the price was deserving of a damp cloth!

I have been going to this car was for twenty years. I went to flagstaff to ski and the car was really dirty. the jerk who appears to be in charge said it will be $20 extra because the car was so dirty. the wash I wanted was only $18.95

This will sound like Im joking, but rather than closing my window which was slightly open before going into the wash, the worker used tape to block the opening. (Didnt know how to start car and didnt bother coming in to ask me). The adhesive on the tape was so strong, that when he went to remove it, it left a hardened residue. He then tried to buff it out, but buffed off my paint! Manager gave me attitude and they did nothing about it. Went in for a $15 wash, came out with a couple hundred $$ worth of damage.

They went through wash with rear windows down. Now I cant drive. Carpet soaked 1/2 incj of water in cup holders. Back hatch wont open, window wont close, power seats not working, turn signals not working, a.c. randomly on and off, and computer is saying restraint system malfunction. Top it off its Sunday and Mercedes service isnt open. I run a transportation company and now cannot work. The guy, Jorge, says they were closed or thered be more water if they were open yet theyve been googling how to fix for an hour now. Horrible just horrible they were goto detail this past season not any longer

Horrible experience today at Francis $ Sons Car Wash. I drove my 2016 Jeep Cherokee Grand up and no cars were there. I waited and waited but the guy never approached me. Other cars drove up and the checker went to them. So after this guy takes 3 cars ahead of me I got out of my car and said hello I was first. He then takes another. The manager could see there was a problem so he walked up the guy explained to the manager he walked up to my car but I never responded. I asked where were you standing he said right here he was standing behind my front door at the back door of my SUV. So he opens my car and said you have dog hair this will take way longer. I had my dog in that car for five minutes to bring her to the vet. WTH! There was no trash. I was furious. The manager just stood next to me dumbfounded and I said This is outrageous. He still said nothing and I said thats it Im leaving. No apology nothing. They just dont give a crap I guess. I went to CleanFreak on ViaLinda and they were way better for half the price.

Received sub-standard service in my opinion. Purchased The Works Full Service for $18.99 and was charged an additional $1.00 Oversize Charge. Vehicle was an Infinity QX80. And I even tipped $5.00 due to the vehicle exterior looking great and only visually inspecting the 1st row, which my mistake for not thoroughly checking before driving away. I was pleased with the service received on the 1st row seating/instrument panel armrests, etc, but very displeased with the attention given to the 2nd and 3rd row seating. For the $1.00 Oversize Charge, I would expect the oversize areas, i.e. the 2nd and 3rd row seating, to have been delivered with better service attention than received. Spoke with George, the manager, who said he personally vacuumed the vehicle and there was an excessive amount of dog hair and that could not not be vacuumed up, but another level of service would take care of the problem. I interpret this to mean an upsell and also interpret this to mean, we need more money to do the job. Additionally, the 2nd and 3rd row vinyl surfaces were not wiped down like they were on the 1st row. Very inconsistent quality control before delivering the vehicle back to the customer. If asked by friends/family/acquaintances about vehicle full service wash cleaners, I will not be mentioning Francis and Sons, unfortunately.
