Took my car to Bretons for some general repairs and maintenance. The garage was so much cleaner than other garages I have been to. I was taken back and showed all the problems the car had and explained what was needed to fix them. There was no guess work. Work was completed and done in a reasonable amount of time for a reasonable amount of money. Very satisfied customer. I will be back.

I take all of my vehicles here for service and general repair work. I have used some other shops around the area before and nobody beats Bretons when it comes to reliably getting the job done. I have never had any issues with the quality of their work, whereas with other shops I found myself having to go back multiple times to get the job done. Had Roof Rats attack most of all the wiring in our Jaguar including all the vacuum lines. Bretons were able to rewire the top half of the engine, Logan was fantastic, they also steam cleaned the engine, looks like a new engine. They also did the brakes which are great. I would use them again.

This issue is only with the owner of the company. Carole at the front desk was very nice and the two sons I never had any interaction with but I am sure they are good mechanics. Michael is rude and the service I received from him was poor quality and even poorer communication on status of the project. I will never be back! The car was returned back to me dirty, with duct tape residue on the paint, many parts that were on it uninstalled, the door weather striping that was attached now falling off and more issues.Highly recommend looking elsewhere for service on an older car. After dropping $15k on his services I must say none of it was worth it.

Instrument Cluster Upgrade and Cruise Control Install:The speedometer on my classic 81 Corvette was been slowly becoming inoperable for a while. Michael Breton and his team helped me choose an upgraded instrument cluster by Dakota digital. Their installation was magnificent and professionally done, and the cockpit of my car looks like something of a sophisticated modern luxury car. It came out AMAZING!At the same time I requested to install a Dakota digital cruise control packet. And I was further impressed by the continued amount of wires and connections and calibrations required. It was a simple front brake job, but on a BMW i3 with regenerative brakes. Still, the dealer had quoted $1101.52 and I wanted them done right. Bretons estimated $686.82 (yes, thats nearly a 38% savings) and they came in right on the estimate. The job was done right, quickly, and cost-effectively. My wife and I have 3 German luxury cars and we use Bretons exclusively, except for warranty (free at dealer) work.

Check engine light came on in our 2008 Mercedes CLK; I did not have a local mechanic in AZ, having recently moved the car here from out of state, so did some google research and found Bretons. All the great reviews were right on--they did a full analysis, scoped the engine, and concluded that, as the car had sat for some time without use, the top end had drained all oil so that when I had started the car, initial sensor results of oil issues had set up the warning. Bretons diagnosed the issue, were very straight forward and concerned that I didnt pay for something I didnt need; we did a one-year A service to replace oil and filter and put in a suggested additive to help keep oil on the top end. Final bill less than $300--very reasonable, prompt, honest. Im a fan.

Check engine light went on and needed my car the next day for work -- they figured out what was wrong with it (fuel injector sensor on the throttle), ordered the part, and installed it all within a few hours, and I was back on the road the same day! Great place to find friendly, honest repair.We have on going issues with pack rats and roof rats. This is our second car that the car engine has had wires, engine molding chewed with damage. We found Bretons Automotive online with great reviews. They worked us in a busy schedule that day. Then did diagnostics tests and cleaned the debris out twice. Took my vehicle in to get a check engine light looked at. It was a cracked gas cap. I appreciate an honest mechanic. In and out in 1 hour for a fair price.

I came here after I heard a loud popping sound come from my car and they were immediately able to accommodate me. Logan diagnosed the issue and replaced the parts in a matter of 30 minutes. As someone who does not know a ton about cars, I often feel taken advantage of when I get my car fixed, but you will not feel that way here. It is a family run operation and they have very reasonable pricing. I will absolutely be back!

I found Mike & Carole thank God I did, After I had paid someone else to fix a few oil leaks on my 62 corvette and the turn and brake signals. When I got the car home I had more leaks and the turn and brake signals still did not work right. There response was hey its and old car and the all leak a little and we dont know whats wrong with the turn signals. I now have no leaks and the turn and brake lights work. I forgot to mention to Mike that my horn did not work. When I got home i bumped my horn and low and be hold it was working. He has since then done more things for me some he suggested and other things I wanted to do. He is first class he will treat your car just like it is his. I wont go any where else!

Charged me 125 for an electric diagnosis, which the guy behind the counter guessed what was wrong with it before they even took it back, still went through the process of checking and charged me. Just to check it. Then, after discussing options, I concluded Id buy a used part offline and they would install it, which the lady behind the counter and prior said gentleman were fully aware and accepting of. She concluded thatd be a good way to save money and theyd install it, I just had to flash over the used transmission module, which they provided me with a number for a guy who could do that part. After leaving there shop and going home and ordering the part, the next day i received a message from them saying they could no longer help me with the part, cause I did not buy it from them and its not under warranty. What happened here? I thought we were all in agreement with the used part or I NEVER would have ordered it. So thanks for charging me for info I could have called and asked for apparently, and committing to a fix you bail on the very next day. Very greedy and unprofessional in my opinion. Just to warn the next customer.

Mike the owner is extremely knowledgeable about his business. He can troubleshoot to find the answer to the problem quickly and it won’t cost you an arm and a leg. The whole family is both kind and considerate, the old time way of dolng business. I would highly reccomend them for your auto service needs.

I went here yesterday to get my oil change that went great however I get in my car this morning seen my front mirror isnt right. I tried to adjust it however it just fell. Im beyond pissed because nothing was wrong with my car now my mirror is completely off. Im little so I think the guy got into my car and tried to adjust but broke it without telling me but I know my car and I know nothing was wrong with my baby smh I will never go there again!! I didnt want to even give one star.

Went in to get my transmission and other problems I had with my car fixed and I have a warranty with GWC so not everything was covered and I had out of pocket expenses.. Not only is the staff super friendly but the reasoned with me and helped me figure out everything since my expenses were extremely tight & for that I am very thankful and would recommend!!

Stay away!! They knew Nothing about fixing my engine, first time I got it back there were missing bolts, airfilter fell off, stripped intake bolt, missing brackets, heatshield had missing bolts, didnt use factory parts as I requested then lied and said he did. I have parts to prove it. They had to fix my motor after less than 100 miles. I know my car pretty well, but I was told I didnt know any better. Would not warranty his work after it was fixed a second time. I asked for factory coolant, orange, he used universal green stuff instead, even after saying he would only use what the manufacturer recommended. A month later the engine developed engine knock, again. I ended up fixing it all myself, and discovered the wrong bearings were used and they were aftermarket bearings. Which were installed twice, even after I asked for factory ones. I also found two missing structural bolts missing! If you want a liar and incompetency, by all means, Do take you car here. $3000 down the drain. I have a witness and the old wrong parts to prove this all.
