Mariana is the best!! I went to her for the first time Sunday and it was the most painless wax I have ever received. She is really cool and laid back. I never once felt uncomfortable throughout the wax and she is very professional. 10/10 would recommend to everyone. Mariana is by far the best waxed I have been to at Waxing the City.

I have been going to different waxing in the city’s over the past 5 years and have been going to this specific location for the past 2. Today, I got stuck at the light and text to let them know I would be a couple minutes late. I walked in 3 minutes late. 2 minutes later, the cerologist walked out to let me know that due to me being 3 minutes late she would have to reschedule because I would impede the following appointment time. But, she too was 2 minutes late, making the appointment time start 5 total minutes late. It’s never taken her more than 10 minutes to do my eyebrows before, but apparently that wasn’t an option. THEN a different cerologist came out to let me know, “oh, I can get you in, no worries.” At this point, the lack of professionalism had already pushed me past the point of wanting to continue business. Absolutely ridiculous. I’m in patient care, I understand having to be on time. But 3 minutes late… and then not just talking with the other cerologist FIRST to offer a cerologist change to accommodate. I can’t even begin to express my frustration. Steer clear. There are other places in the metroplex that would take loyalty into consideration and would treat the client with greater professionalism and would communicate amongst staff efficiently to best accommodate the paying client.

Absolutely the BEST PLACE to go and get any of your waxing needs taken care of!

I from a small town so this was my first time to actually get a wax from a professional waxer.(i have had waxes before but not from someone who does it professionally) It was awesome, everyone was supper nice. Andy was my waxer. She bruised me in multiple parts of my legs and was the most painful experience before and after. And she did not get all my hairs. Would not recommend Andy.

Great place! I definitely prefer getting my waxes here as they are very fast and get most of the hairs. And they always have a ton of advice and products for you to try to see what works best for you.

I had a great experience here with an amazing young woman whom I forgot her name but it started with an A I think (will edit if I remember or go back soon). She educated me on different parts I could get waxed and made me feel super comfortable during the entire session. The front desk receptionist was also very sweet and I definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a clean, and professional place to get a bikini wax! Wish you guys had mimosas pre-waxing lol.

Aquilah hands down THE BEST Cosmetologist Esthetician I’ve had at Wax In The City. Very professional, made the experience calming and most of all fairly painless. I had tried a few and was unhappy with my results and she was my last try and I’m glad I went back. As a result I will be starting my membership back up.

Madison is the best cerologist for my Brazilian and the staff is wonderfully polite and easy to work with. Madison is so easy to talk to, quick, and very thorough. Its like chatting with a friend! Ive never experienced any pain or had any subsequent issues. Highly recommend.

Fraudulent bank charge... they kept my credit card information without my knowledge and charged me for an appointment that I didnt make. Im disappointed they are better than this. I dont even live in Texas anymore and they are still charging me. Im having my bank dispute the fraudulent charges. Boo. DONT GO HERE!!! RIP off.

Not a very comfortable table for a person to lie on to have your brows done. The girl who did my brows had the worst breathe and keep breathing on me. I kept turning my head and she never picked up on my body language. Products for purchase very expensive.

I usually do not wax. I have very sensitive skin and my Eczema flares up terribly. However from first stepping into Waxing the City I felt welcomed and not as scared, they also had wine! What better way to get rid of the jitters. I had the pleasure of working with Asia. She also made me feel comfortable and answered any questions I had regarding the products she was using and at home care. The wax they used did not make my skin flare up one bit, I was shocked. What a great place to get waxed!! All the staff was super friendly!! The method that they use for waxing makes it so much less painful than anywhere else I’ve ever been! Love this place!! Only my second time getting a Brazilian and it was a breeze! The last place i went to missed so much hair because they wanted me out the door. Sara took her time and made sure every hair was gone, she even offered to tweeze the hairs that the wax didnt pick up.
