Wonderful service! I was so impressed by Joe’s fast diagnosis of my pool pump’s issue and he was so kind and knowledgeable in walking me through what went wrong and how to fix it. He even took the extra time to show me (a very new pool owner) how my valves work and answered all my questions. He was able to get the new part and fix it within a couple of days. I will definitely be calling y’all again for any future issues! Thank you, thank you!

This company acquired my account from my local gal. The only notification I received was a text message saying they took over my pool and asked for my email as they needed it for billing purposes back in July. Last week I hadnt received anything or a visit so I texted my old pool gal and that resulted in an email with official letterhead, policy and info. Nothing about pricing. So yesterday I called the number and spoke with someone who sounded like a child. I began with my story of how they have my pool account and can I speak with someone about my pool services. She was rude from the start and said yeah, tried to answer my questions. I asked when they were coming out and who should I expect. She gave me a male name and I asked if he was an older gentlemen or younger and his race. So I know. She paused and came back with that shouldnt matter. Um yes, it does I want to know who Im looking for. She rudely tried again with race shouldnt matter then I asked how long they have been in business and was told since the 80s. And she ended the call. This is not how you handle business. In the past when a company is scheduled to come to my home, I not only get an office call but a text message with the tech info and photo. In this day and age a heads up of who to expect at my front door is not asking a lot. Canceled my account. Unacceptable poor customer service. Wish I could give 0.

Wow!!!!!! I am highly impressed!!!!! The service is outstanding!!!!I live in Houston. The freeze makes it VERY HARD to find parts. I ordered a housing for my pump that came damaged. It happens. I called them and Lance answered the phone. He knows his stuff!!!!! Called on Monday and got my part on Tuesday afternoon just like he promised. I took a picture of the defective housing and sent it to him He made sure to take the replacement out of manufactures bag to make sure it was not defective.I am doing my own work on my pool system. He recommended the correct parts to hook my 2 inch PVC pipe to the pump housing. I am VERY impressed. Lance knows the CORRECT way to connect PVC to housing.Lance explained to me why there is a shortage of parts. It took three different stores to find my parts.It was MUCH cheaper than Leslie Pools and Amazon.Aquamaid will be my store to go to. I have made them a favorite and will keep there info in my pool folder.Five stars is NOT enough stars. I have worked retail for many years. There are few stores that truly care about clients. They care!!! They arer outstanding!!!!From a very impressed client!!!! I am going to send them a thank you note. I only do that for outstanding service !!!Em

I do not usually write poor reviews but subsequent to the ice storm Aquamaid has been completely non-responsive. I was a regular customer with weekly services when I first requested the pump to be fixed after the ice storm. It took them a couple of weeks to respond which given the high demand seems reasonable but they never bothered to turn the filter on to test the pump at which time they would have noticed a massive leak and cracking in the pool filter container. I called to let them know there was a big leak that needed to be fixed so that I could run my pump again. They told me someone would come out that next week and 5 weeks later after multiple phone calls and text messages requesting it to be fixed and multiple no shows I have decided to call another company. They actually sent someone to my house during this 5 weeks that basically told the office there was a big leak but no one communicated to me or made any attempt to schedule a repair after my multiple requests. However they still managed to keep sending me constant bills for services they werent performing. When I called to tell them I would need to find a new pool service they actually sounded relieved because they seem so overwhelmed and disorganized. I would not suggest this pool company especially for repairs. Multiple no shows is unacceptable.

I finally found a pool service I can recommend to others. Aquamaid employees where very professional and helpful. While having repair done they where able to offer me recommendations for repairs with in my budget. I am happiest I have been in over a year with my pool thanks to Aquamaid. I will use them again when I have pool issues in the future.

Everything was going fine considering the circumstances (2021 freeze) until they went to install the heater. They said they needed the gas shut off and told us to call the gas company and left for the day. I got the gas shut off. Then they said the wouldnt even touch the gas lines and I would have to get the propane company to do that part of the install. When I pointed out that I was paying them $1200 over the sale price of the heater to install the heater and that I expected them to be able to, you know, actually install the heater they refunded for me just the cost of the heater took the new heater and just left the job half done with everything disassembled. Would not recommend.

I usually do not write bad reviews, due to the impact of covid and the economy and what impact it has on a business. However, I am at my last option here with this company and willing to take this down if they make things right. I had a pool pump installed less than 3 years ago and its under warranty. I had called this company Feb 12 prior to the freeze/storm and they came out to take a look at my pool pump. The tech that came out said it needs replaced and its under warranty. The company dropped the ball and its been nearly a month since then and I have called them at least 4 times since then. The last time I spoke with them the owner yelled at me over the phone and swore/vulgar at me. I told him I did not lose power and your tech came out before the storm. This is a very unprofessional company and I do not recommend them at all.

Pool service was a no show on 2 occasions when trying to get service for a start up pool. Appointments were made and both times I was told they would be there.

Wonderful staff! Chet does my weekly cleaning. He sends a report after each visit. Lance, owner, came to my aid for a service call. We discussed what was urgent & what could wait. And, best of all. They are priced below other companies Ive used. Better quality service, lower price. Cant to that!

We were having problems with our pool heater and called Aquamaid Pool Techs. Lance came when he said he would and was so kind and efficient in fixing our problem!!!! It was so nice to have a late night swim in a nice warm pool!!!! We were so pleased with his service and helpful hints to keep our heater working at its best!!!!!!

Lance S. Jones came to my house, and gave me a free estimate for my swimming pool repair. Very reasonable, very very very professional. I felt that I do want my pool to get repaired by the leadership of this great Samaritan. Looking forward to, indeed.

We had a pool pump go out on us and Old Republic Warranty left us out to dry and didnt cover it (even though we paid extra to have the pool equipment covered, stay away from Old Republic!!) Aquamaid was the company that came out to do the service call and determined the pump was out and needed to be replaced. After going around in circles with the warranty company Aquamaid went out of their way to help us get a new pump installed and took the time to show us how to operate it as well. While I dont trust Old Republic Warranty I do trust Aquamaid and appreciate them helping us out when we were left hanging. Thank you Aquamaid!!

The BEST pool service I have ever used! If you want integrity, and knowledgeable service dont go anywhere else.

Very poor customer service, communication, and ability to repair equipment.We used aquamaid twice for warranty repairs on our pool equipment. Both times it was very difficult to get an appointment. When you do finally get an appointment, they will no show/no call. Each time, my appointment was moved without notice and I had to call to inquire. Recently, I was told there was higher priority calls and my appointment was cancelled (even though there is an issue with my main filter pump). I was told the technicians wanted me to try running the pumps at night; although, I explained no less than 3 times I had already done that.When we finally did get a rep out, he was rude and disgruntled for having to drive so far on short notice. He was here a few minutes and said our problem was fixed. When we asked what was repaired he said I am not at liberty to say and also stated if we had other issues to call the equipment manufacturer. He then left abruptly. Immediately after he left, we tested our equipment and the same issue was present. Now were back to square one and my equipment isnt fixed.I am not even paying for their services and I never want to use them. Save yourself the headache and find another company.

Pump went out last night. Called A Quality in NRH and they wanted a credit card # before anybody would come out to look at problem and couldnt come out to next week. I said no way am i giving credit card # before coming out. So went to Google and found Aquamaid and they came in about an hour and a half. Had new pump in truck and fix asap. Jarrod was awesome, very knowledgeable and friendly. Gave estimates on other and the price on pump was great. Will use them from now on on major stuff. Ask for Jarrod. Couldnt be any happier. Same day service . Who would have thought. 😎😅

On January 29, Aquamaid began a complete equipment replacement and renovation of our pool. Lance was the inspector prior to purchasing this “new” home and accurately assessed what needed to be done with this old pool which had not been maintained through the years. This was very important to us in the purchasing process.The entire remake (including replacement of all tile and coping stones as well as plaster) was complete and the pool was refilled with water by February 9. The pool is beautiful and beyond our expectations. The entire crew and staff are very professional and make the process very easy. Lance is a man of integrity and his word. Having been pool owners for over thirty years in a different part of the country, this has been opposite of our experiences with the pool industry. You will not go wrong using Aquamaid for your pool needs.

I have used Aquamaid for over two years without an issue. Our pool flooded. We were having a family party on the weekend. They not only got the pool drained, they removed stains and got the tile looking like new. Very happy!!

I was referred to Aquamaid by a friend 4 years ago. They have been reliable and trustworthy throughout this time. I have recommended them many times to friends and neighbors. Also, I have had the same tech during this time (Chester). He is very knowledgeable and friendly.

Enjoy having my pool cleaned every week on the same day. My guy is always willing to answer my questions and has tamed my runaway cement pond. Seriously, they do a good job.

I called our Home Warranty company in June 2014 and they assigned Aquamaid Pool Techs to us. They responded very quickly and did a fantastic job. Jason responded and he was very knowledgeable and fixed our problem in a matter of minutes. We were very pleased with them and would highly recommend them to everyone. Im just sorry that I wasnt courteous enough to review them sooner.

1st appointment between 11:00am and 3:00pm. no show and no call. 2nd appointment 11 to 3 again. no show and no call. 3rd appointment between 3 and 5. no show and no call. unbelievable

I have gotten to know this group through a home warranty repair on our pool pump. I have ended up using this group for all my needs on our pool repairs. I have just used them to install a heater in our pool. I have had several quotes in the past and each other quote I received was either higher or would not include the gas contractor to extend our gas line. Lance included this and handled everything for us. It worked our great and I could not be more pleased with the result. These are my pool contractors and would recommend them to anyone.

We have worked with Aquamaid Pool Techs for the last 2 1/2 years. We had major remodel projects done in and around the pool and they were at no point able to finish the projects to a satisfying way even though we were in contact with them every week through phone, email or personal consultant.The most recent experience is probably the worst. The pool had several yellow spots on the the floor/walls, our kids hair was turning green and they experienced skin issues. We have informed Aquamaid Pool Techs several times over the past 7-8 weeks. We called, we emailed, we visited their office always pointing out those concerns. They finally canceled us their weekly services. We contacted a different, independent pool company and we had the water quality checked at a pool supply store. Both told us that all numbers were down and that whomever was in charge of our pool did not take care of quality for several weeks/months.It is very unprofessional for sure but mostly it is sad that Aquamaid Pool Techs risks the health of kids over their business behavior.

They came and examined the problem gave me a fair price to fix it; the work was done on time as promised. There was no exaggeration of the problem, like the other company wanted me basically to have a new system and new filter. They are honest courteous and friendly service.

They are poor at best. The owner is terrible. The service was ok, however if there were any issues...and there was, he made every excuse defending his actions. He has a rude and cocky attitude like he is the only pool service around. I wish I would have interviewed him prior to hiring them. He is a joke. If I would have I would have never hired him. Well I fired his company from my house as well as my parents house.My recommendation...just try to talk to the owner prior to making a decision. Once you hear his attitude over the phone, you will know not to give him a chance.

Horrible pool service, I was being charged for full service when the appearance of the service they provided was far from FULL. The end result was an estimate of $500 to get my pool back to swimming condition from their FULL SERVICE. Their customer service, especially Linda was very hard to work with. What really upsets me is the owner (Lance) called me to remedy an outstanding balance of $86 which was turned to a collection agency after I had posted a bad review on YELP. He offered to tear the check up once he received if I would remove the post, so I did. He cashed the check and is most likely walking from the bank with a huge smile. Stay away from businesses like this. The service you pay for is not the service you will receive from Aquamaid Pool Techs. Weekly Cleaning Service I paid $151.55 +$95.00 + $86.60 = duck pond! THANK YOU AQUAMAID POOL TECHS for Nothing!! They never clean my pool! Aquamaid is one giant SCAM!!

They are very efficient and do a wonderful job of keeping my pool clean and ready to swim.

I Highly Recommend Aquamaid. They found my leak that no one else could and repaired it. They not only showed the leak to me, but showed me that my pipes were holding pressure afterwards. Been a few weeks and no more water lose. Would use again in a heartbeat. Very good experience.

This has been my go to pool company for years. They always get the problem fixed at a reasonable price. My pool is older and I seem to have issues each year. I call them and they come out and fix it in a short amount of time with no extended wait.

Time wasters and liars. Trust the bad reviews.
