Danette cut my daughters hair and did a great job offering helpful suggestions to achieve the look we wanted. She has a lovely “chair side” manner. She did a deep conditioning and blowout for me in between just because and I enjoyed the results of both.My cut and color was done by Becky and she IS AMAZING. My hair took forever but she was so patient to help me correct my hair color and love it again and I do love it.Both artists are talented. I’d happily recommend them and will use their talents in the future. I love this salon.

Danielle is amazing! For the 5 years I’ve lived in Fort Worth, I’ve never been able to find a hairdresser that truly takes an interest in me AND my hair the way she does! Danielle has given me realistic expectations along the way and doesn’t ever try to get me to do or buy more. She listens to what I want, and she does a fabulous job! I get so many compliments on my hair and I trust her fully. She’s awesome!

Enjoyed my time there. My hair dresser was Becky. She was super nice and very cool. Only problem is that I asked for curtain bangs and lots of layers but barely got any layers in my hair and my bangs are very uneven. I liked it at the salon but coming home I notice one side of my bangs are way shorter than the other side. I hadn’t gotten a hair cut in years so I was really excited to get my hair cut just for me to not like the results.

I looove my results everytime Katie gets her hands on my hair. Shes got such a great personality and is so great at always getting my hair looking gorgeous. The front desk receptionist is so nice.

Cried when I left, I wouldn’t recommend going here if you have any sort of thick hair. Jeremy was my stylist and what was supposed to be a light trim with some layers turned into about 4 inches of my hair being cut off and choppy stringy “layers”, no blending or feathering just straight across chopped pieces of hair. All I heard about my hair is how thick it was which made me question if that’s why my haircut was turned into a massive chop, and my hair is not corse or textured. I was sent with another stylist to fix my hair and they were wonderful but still my hair couldn’t fully be fixed and I have to wait for my hair to grow, which takes a very long time. I am heartbroken over my haircut because I have homecoming soon.

Abbie was so sweet and professional, she left my hair looking so good (cut & color) it also felt so healthy. It’s a bit on the expensive side but totally worth it and will be back!

Novak was amazing, it was my first time here and everyone was so nice and helpful. I got my hair dyed by Sara who I have to say is very personable and extremely talented. For anyone wanting to do vibrant colors she is the one to go to.

Meagan is the absolute greatest. I honestly do not know how I would have made it though my wedding without her! The Texas heat is real in a July outdoor wedding and the whole ceremony and reception was outdoors. The whole time my hair and makeup was flawless. Not only did she prepare me flawlessly for the elements for the wedding, she also helped calm me down with my overall anxiety leading up to the big I do like a champion. I cannot rate her high enough on the scale to show my appreciation for her craft and who she is as a person.

Mary is wonderful! She knows work keeps me in a schedule that varies at times, but she has been great at working me in if she has a slot open on a day she’s on. I have been doing vivid colors and I have no doubt when I go to her that I will leave happy with her work! I wish there was more stars to rate her since five seems like hardly enough.

Justin is freaking amazing! All the staff were super friendly, great vibe! Did I say Justin was amazing?! He worked his magic on me and made me feel and look fabulous! New man in my life!!

Anson was a really cool person, really nice, and really made me feel comfortable cutting my hair because he sounded like he knew what he was doing. I’m a teenage boy who doesn’t like getting haircuts because not many people can cut guys curly hair, but Anson did a great job. I liked my haircut and will be going back there.

The salon is full of incredibly nice stylist and staff. Mallorie washed my hair and did an amazing scalp massage. Then Savannah cut and shaped my curls. We had to go pretty short to fix quarantine cutting error (by me) but she made it look cute and fuller. Now my hair is ready for a good grow out will have great shape as it does. She was incredibly kind, informative, and patient. I will definitely be going back and letting her bring my hair to it’s full potential. If you are a curly girl I highly suggest going to her.

Mercy was amazing! I came in after using a box black hair dye and she was able to lift the damage done by the box dye and then added a vivid color to bring my hair back to the bright color side! I would 100% recommend her over and over again. I have really thick coarse hair and A LOT of it. My curls were basically not there and always so frizzy. I came into the appointment with so many emotions but excitement was the main one. I told her to take over to do what she thought would be good for my hair and she did and rocked at it. She coached so well and answered every question I had even after the appointment she continued to answer my million questions. My hair turned out AMAZING after she was done with it. I was able to see my curls which I have not seen in years. I can’t wait to continue using her method.

My hairstylist was Becky. She was nice but extremely disorganized and all over the place. I went in wanting a haircut and was quoted $40. She mentioned there that this was a straight cut (trim) and I wanted some layers to thin out my hair and that would cost $60 because it needed a wet cut and blow-dry. That was pretty standard to me, no big deal. Overall she was so distracted and distracting I literally left with just 4in less if hair... so a trim but was charged the $60 because I had originally asked for layers. Yes, I should have paid more attention and said something there so thats on me but, regardless, I was very disappointed. For me, this style of professional doesnt work but it may be okay for someone else. I will have to go elsewhere and spend more to add texture and layers like I wanted originally so that sucks. The facility is beautiful and well kept.

I love everything Jessica has ever done with my hair. She’s also shared simple things I can do with my hair that make a big impact. She didn’t have to take the time for a little tutorial, but she did and I really appreciate that.Also, the young lady who washed my hair (Julia, I think) did an incredible job and she seemed really happy to be there. She definitely made a point to make sure I was comfortable.From checking in to checking out, it was a very positive experience. It felt indulgent and I can’t wait to come back.Novak is such a lovely salon and I’m thrilled that it’s Jessica’s home base.

I have recently found Jessica Fay at Novak- She is incredible. Not only is she spot on with what I desire when I come in, but she is also so kind. I have been to a couple hair dressers in the area and I have officially found my person. She is so detailed with her color/cuts, but also efficient!

If you love your long naturally curly hair, then Savannah Curbello is not the stylist for you. I never leave negative reviews, but in this case I am making an exception to prevent this from happening to anyone else. I visited to fix an uneven style and trim the ends. My friend cut it during the pandemic & I selected this stylist after reviewing her website and talking with the salon staff. She claims to have developed her own method for curly hair, but it is simply layering from the 80s. I did not realize this until the next day, because my hair was so full of product that it looked longer before I left. I was clear I wanted to be able to braid, wear a ponytail, & be low maintenance. I came in with a six inch ponytail & shoulder length hair. I left with hair near my ears & a two inch ponytail. I called hoping to continue as a client & make plans for growing it out long again. Manager sent me back to the stylist and claimed they are all independent. She was dismissive & unprofessional. Her online website shows long flowing beautiful hair, so it was misleading when she cut mine so short after our conversation. It is layered so short that it is flat now without extensive styling & product. Otherwise, Mallory was sweet & salon was impressive. I originally contacted them due to the article in Fort Worth Weekly about their zero waste policy. I thought since they cared about the environment that people would be a priority too, but customer service seems to be an afterthought. Be warned. I miss my beautiful long hair and wish I knew in advance this would be the outcome. Dont make the same mistake... 😔

When I say Jenny is amazing... she is AMAZING! We’ve all experienced that “getting used to it” or “letting it grow on you” stage of a hair service. There was none of that. This was the first time EVER that I loved my hair immediately after getting it done. Jenny is so sweet, attentive, careful, and knowledgeable. My hair hasnt felt or looked this good ever. I would usually get my hair done and think meh and throw it in a ponytail or bun but I actually want to and enjoy doing my hair now.

OH. MY. GOODNESS!! I wish I could express how incredibly talented Danielle is!! Like I am beyond super picky about my hair. I have gone from salon to salon and stylist to stylist trying to find The One. You know what I am talking about. My hairdresser who is incredible got very complacent with my hair and she admitted that she had. I mean she’s good but I got tired of waiting an hour after my scheduled appointment and then she rushed and I continued to pay 65 dollars for the same old do. I was terrified to change hairdressers but I had to. And thank GOODNESS I did and after all misses with other stylists, Danielle is AMAZING!! Seriously she is extremely talented and knowledgeable and she has an incredible personality to top it off. Thank you Danielle!!

Reya and Julia were amazing! This place deserves it. This was my first time at an actual salon (I used to go to a great clips for trims) and it was the best experience I have ever had, anywhere. Reya helped me figure out a suitable haircut, and also helped me figure out my scalp irritation, which was cause by build up from my shampoo. My hair and scalp feel amazing, and I left smiling! I would recommend Reya to anyone, shes a nice, cool chick with amazing talent.

Mallory who shampoos has amazing hands!! Front staff was great and salon has a nice atmosphere.Camile on the other hand was horrible. She was recommended to me by a friend however over all experience with her wasnt up to standards. She showed up 35 minutes late to my appointment. She texted me at 9:30 saying she would be 10 minutes late because she had to take her grandmother breakfast but she didnt actually start my hair till about 10:40 when my appointment was at 10!! Ive had hair cuts done and never have I had hair all over me like this. She saw she was cutting over my arms and never once took the time to blow dry it off. And it wasnt just a little bit of hair, I have hair everywhere!! She trimmed it out twice and I was too frustrated to have her keep going (she cut for a full hour) she never showed me the back of my hair and rushed me out. She didnt straughten it very well as I still have chunks of hair that was frizzy and wavy. Not to mention She thinned out the right side more then the left leaving a noticeable difference.Thankfully Sonia fixed my hair for me. She was very nice and knowledgable of what I was asking for. She is very humble and amazing!! She is the only reason I will come back to this salon!Overall salon and staff is great but they should really consider holding their stylists accountable. I paid $65 dollars for a hair cut that wasnt finished by Camile. I feel she doesnt deserve the full amount and Sonia should get at least 40% of my payment.Novak I will be waiting for a follow up call.

Some people leave a hair appointment unsure if they like their new haircut. But I have never known that feeling. After every haircut with Ashley, I leaving feeling more confident, beautiful, and excited to show off my new look! She makes my hair look better than any Pinterest picture I ever shown her. For the almost 10+ years since Ashley has been my stylist, I always look fabulous and fresh. I cherish every appointment I have with her! Excellent doesn’t even begin to describe her talents!

Very bad pixie cut! The Stylist and Front desk told me to have a better communication even tho I showed the Stylist a picture to go by for the hair cut. First thing she does it chopped my hair with clippers! Left my hair uneven, weird style. I hate it even tho I expressed how Unsatisfied I was with my haircut they both team up on me and said my hair cut looks exactly like on the picture when honestly it wasn’t! Never again am I coming here even if they offer free haircut. It’s obvious that they hire or let people to represent their business who don’t care cuz even if they do a bad job, they will still get $50 dollars! So bad.

Im so glad I found Jessica on Yelp! Shes a very talented hair stylist and I loved the work she did with my cut and balayage. The salon had the best vibe as well. I cant wait to come back and have Jessica do my hair again!

Court was the bomb dot com!!!! She knew exactly what to do with my hair while keeping it within the parameters of what I wanted. She is energetic, listens, sweet. I couldnt ask for more. I would give her more than 5 stars if I would.
