It is not at all unfair to characterize THIS particular Tech Data distribution center as goofy. And THAT assessment is not sour grapes. They could be so much better. . .but simply arent. The reason for that rests exclusively with local--and by reasonable extension--national management.For example, they claim to adhere to the 5 Sigma system, a business/production paradigm, which (when properly implemented AND maintained) yields a safer, more organized, and genuinely more profitable organization.5S at the Fort Worth DC is at best a joke and exists there, in name only. For them, as it unfortunately is with so many other organizations, 5 or 6S is the beautiful magicians assistant that distracts client auditors just long enough to have them believe that quality really exists there.Once these auditors and customers awaken from from their hypnotic state (kinda like the red beam flash device from the Men In Black universe), contracts are renewed, backs are slapped, and libations abound.But the blue collar team? Sorry, guys: back to Tech Datas REAL world. Genuine training and education? Throw gruel on the wall by way of the internet an see what sticks. Safety? Yeah, right. . .hey, did ya here the one about the dyslexic who walked into a bra?So, if you want to work there, best of luck. Roll dem dice. Whats even more arresting, though? I worked for Tech Data for about two years, from about June 2016 through May 2018. During the earlier part of my employment, there were no issues; I worked peacefully at my station by myself as a void fill operator without any problems with supervisors or other employees. In early 2018, a woman in her late 20s told me, while on the job, confidential stories about her personal relationship, and that when she was 19, she first became involved in an intimate relationship with her 14-year-old boyfriend. I was quite astonished that somebody would tell me this while at work. When I told other employees and management, Karen McGrew, one of the managing staff, told me not to dare say anything about it, appearing to defend the woman. At that point forward, Tech Data began building a file, alleging numerous things from being too loud, to damaging equipment. Furthermore, a man in his early 50s was making inappropriate remarks to and coercing an 18-year-old girl who worked there, and, in my personal opinion, believing that was wrong, raised an objection, when he responded to me, rudely and loudly, almost appearing to acknowledge his wrongdoing, “You know what? I don’t like you anymore! Don’t talk to me!”. In May 2018, I was escorted from my workstation to the manager’s office, where I was told that I was terminated, and managers Karen McGrew and Nicole Monette, who were present, made sarcastic remarks, smiled and joked about the matter, and, while smiling, told me that I spit on the equipment, which was untrue, along with other similar allegations. I had applied for unemployment benefits which were initially denied due to Tech Data’s allegations, however, in my appeal, which was successful, and based on these facts, Texas Workforce Commission ruled that I was not at fault.Tech Data was a good company, and there were many nice employees who I enjoyed working with, however, I believe that towards the end of my employment there, I was treated very badly by management. Furthermore, Tech Data refused to hand over a copy of my employee file or disciplinary records, and also failed to hand over any relevant documents (other than a voluntary resignation packet) upon the termination, giving me limited evidence for complaints (other than the TWC ruling, where the employer, Tech Data, failed to appear at the hearing). Very disappointed in Tech Data.

This place Is just a waste of Time, I worked there two months, my leader just always yelled and intimidated me, so I talked to the managar AND she did nothing about it, after that happened, a few days later, they fired me without an explanation?!?!?????!!!????? 🙃

Supervisor kevith is really nice..other management sucks...be careful for a security guard with red hair which looks like pipi longstocking on night shift, she is really rude and thinks she can talk down to people and a manager name angie approves of her treating people the way she does...also be careful what you say to red hair security she does false reports on you saying your gonna threaten her and you will be terminated...sad but true..be careful guys👍

First. One Star is being humble and kind. Corporate and mgmt are discrimatory based on morality. This particular location in Ft Worth on Liberty is not a equal opportunity workplace. They break labor laws. 12 hr shifts on your feet and you get a 30 min lunch and two 15 minutes break is basically slave driving. They hire unprofessional people for supervisors Namely Ashley. And who is her boss Karen and or Brandon. You Maam and or Sir well we all Have to answer to the one who sits the Highest and sees all below. There is a high, extremely high turn over rate of employees in packing Supervised by Ashley that along speaks Volumes but when your dealing with immoral humans what do you expect. Now all and New prospective employees. Make sure Ashley is sitting in on the interview or you may be Subject to unprofessional treatment. Single out and bullied in the workplace. If Ashley likes you she will favor you like ice cream on a hot day in Hell. I wander what happened to the Managers son that had a mental breakdown in early January 2018 and was acting irrate. Was he terminated. Ik he was Suspended. But was he terminated. Fair and just doesnt exist in this workplace. I pray for corporate and mgmt that the rafts of God doesnt swoop through and deliver just cause punishment. Apply and work at your own risk. Hope you will be a favorite because favoritism exist in this workplace and is wide open and a blind man can see it but mgmt turns the blind eye. I could write a short Story about the conduct of this workplace but I will let them destroy themselves. Good day and God Bless.
