Kool Barber shop Salon experience. Need The Stylist, is Cosmetology trained and a Barber, a one stop shop.

J.kinlow Barber Lab is clean. The Staff is amazing and the hours of operation are convenient for my work life balance. I get my hair cut there once a week. The Helen mall location is lit.

Good customer service, no long wait time and did a great job.

I get my hair cut here by Johnny every 2 weeks so I dont know where the unprofessionalism that everyone is talking about is and I also get my dreads done by Neef every month. Personally speaking I think the only reason that anyone had any problems is because youre coming to a barbershop without knowing what you want. Like who say Im going to get a cut drive to the shop and then get in the chair and dont know what you want I personally feel like your the one being unprofessional cause you just wasted five minutes thinking about what you want when the barber could be making some bread cutting somebody else hair

Everytime Im in town, I always get a cut here. TyRon is lethal with the clippers!!

Fun and great atmosphere. Barbers put in time day after day especially the ones that work in the mall due to sooo many folks and different ethnicity and personalities. If you are clear of what you want out of your hair cut BEFORE the process is started then you will walk out satisfied.

Took my kids to get their haircut. The barber was extremely rough with both of my kids. My toddler hasn’t been to a barber since COVID came around and the barber recorded him and posted him on social media having a fit. It’s very rare that a kid that age sits still and doesn’t fuss over a haircut. I feel violated that the barber would do something like that. When I saw what he was doing I told him to stop and delete what he had but I’m almost certain he posted anyway. I won’t be back and will likely report this behavior to proper channels.

Horrible, walked in and put my name on the list. Asked how long the wait would be as my wife and I were going to eat while waiting. The guy in front giving haircuts asked if I was talking about him personally because he had six people waiting....I replied anyone as I didn’t really care who cut my hair. He said well I don’t know I have six people waiting on me personally.....OK YOU HAVE SIX PEOPLE WAITING... HOW LONG IS THE WAIT! Will not go back to this rude place!!

Learn to appreciate and respect your customers dude.

So I called ahead to make sure they were open, As I called ahead I also asked the price of a haircut I was $25. So I stopped in and get my haircut the lady charge me $40 and when I offered to pay with my credit card she told me cash only which was a huge red flag to me and was unable to give me a receipt. I did not want to create a scene in front of all the other customers so I paid the lady cash and exit the store and looked at the prices online. I was told unless I wanted one length all the way around my head it would be $25.

After being in quarantine for 3 months I got a cutt here and then I knew we were going to be ok .

Walked in. Signed in. Got called right back to get in the chair and got a fresh fade. No wait on a Saturday night. Good price and a great fade. Cool barbers who know how to cut.

DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE IN HULEN MALL! 0000000000000000 stars all across the board!!!!!!They are soooooo unprofessional we were waiting for 2 hours sitting in front and my son and I walked in he signed in as usual and they usually call but no call... we seen people getting there hair cut and when the mall started to close we went in to ask how much longer. The 2 young men there said they were closed and I drove an hour away to get there plus been sitting for 2 hours waiting. I explained to them that he has prom Saturday and we live an hour away and he shook his head and said they couldn’t do it...knowing that there was time to because they were barely going to start cutting another teenage boys hair. And the other guy was just sitting there on his phone completely ignoring us... I don’t see why they are in this profession if they they don’t want to work!They don’t have any customer service! This was really mind blowing to be treated as if they don’t care! NEVER GOING BACK!!!! We’ve been to this place more than once and each time we had to wait for hours! It’s such an inconvenience! I’ll be getting my boys hair cut somewhere else!

Here now and they open at 10am but only one barber is here. He did not even speak when we got there. He was on the phone the entire time and was using profanity around a 10 year old and a 3 year old. Very unprofessional. The cut was ok but he was very heavy handed with my 3 year old and overall pretty rude.I’m new to the area and don’t know where else to go, but won’t return here. It’s a really hard task to find a good barber.

Says it closes at 9. I come in at 8 and they said we are closing such a waste of my gas and my time. But good place to get a cut

Long wait time

After wasting 45 mins at another barber shop, I walked into J. Kinlow and I was out in no time. Professional and fast service. Ive finally found a decent place to get me hair cut.

1.) Never in my life have I ever need to explain to someone where to do a hard part for a combover. And still screw that up.2.) I asked for a razor fade and did not receive one.3.) The fade wasnt anything, It look like he barely touched my hair.4.) The parts that he did touch was very uneven and at random spots.Would not recommend this area at all to anyone and do not understand why its still open.

I have never been disappointed. For the people who are unhappy maybe you should go to the barber knowing exactly how you want your haircut, instead of trying to tell them in the middle of it after they have already began cutting..... the barbers here are on point and give you exactly what you want

This barbershop is in Hulen mall. I dont think we will return. They only had three barbers on a Saturday evening. We did not wait long at all. The guy at the front desk seemed as if he didnt want to service any more customers though. Only two barbers were with clients. Finally, after a few minutes, front desk guy asked if he could help. He rushed through my sons hair cut, left a ton of hair on his face and head, and was super rough/heavy handed during the cut. He was not a good barber or people person. The cut will do for now but we want go to him again. This is supposed to be a more upscale shop. Not at this location. They did not display high quality performance or service during our visit.

Waited for 2 hours. I understand barber etiquette of the big tipper/best costumers skip line, but im not going to sit there for 2 hours and let 4 people walk in and get in front of me with the same excuse they booked an appointment with me earlier If thats the case you shouldnt have a sign in roster, or have an actual appt. book. Unprofessional.

TERRIBLE. Mind as well have Helen Kellers corpse cut your hair. Staff is cool but they know diddly squat about cutting hair.

This place is absolute TRASH with a capital TRASHfor thirty dollars you’d expect these guys should be able to do a simple fade and an edge and trim some hair but NOOOOO that’s not the case do yourselves a favor save your thirty dollars and go somewhere else

Garbage with so called “barbers”. Can’t do a simple fade and make you wait more than 1hr even when not busy.

My son started coming here about a yr ago now, there has not been a single time that we have not spent at least 3 hrs here, I understand they get busy, this last time hes barber messed up hes hair bad, to the point my son had to miss school Friday, til get his hair fixed .But we also have a to move on with the day, to sad my son wont move barbers.
