Took my 8 month old for his 2nd haircut ( his 1st haircut was not here) i made appointment and we told her exactly what we wanted, she got started and didnt even ask if he likeed a sertain cartoon so i had to play videos on my phone for my son to stay still, he started moving and you could see her getting frustrated, i dont know if she was just being to rough but my son started crying and moving, all she offered was a candy, in less than 5 minutes she said she was done, i told her if she could cut a bit from the front and right away she said “well i cant do an edge up because im not a barber” his hair was so choppy, at his 1st haircut he was smiling the whole time and didnt cry at all (like i said, it was not done here, but unfortunately the other place was booked that day) the lady next to us was cutting another kids hair and he was crying worse than my son and she left his hair AMAZING! Nice and faded! While my son looked my i had cut his hair myself, and still had to pay 20 something for that mess… would not recommend at all, i was so mad when i walked out of there, if you are wanting a cut for you little ones go to COOKIE CUTTERS! They are awesome and just a couple of minutes from this place

Came in to get my kids haircuts, the woman who cut my five year olds hair was great ! No problems with her, however TINA who was supposed to cut my three year olds hair was very rude & unprofessional. It’s Cool cuts 4 KIDS you would think the people working would know how to deal with kids . Idk if she was having a bad day or simply didn’t like my toddler . Please go to anyone but her .

Been taking my son to Cools Cuts for the past 4years, he’s 9 now and still loves going. He loves getting to play video games while getting his hair cut. Tina has always been our favorite; she does a great job every time. She wasn’t there this evening and we had Sherri... after we left my son asked if he could have Sherri every time. He was very happy with his cut and she was so great with him. Big kuddos to Cool Cuts for having amazing stylists that are great with kids!!

Worst. Haircut. Ever! It looks like I let my 2 year old daughter cut his hair. It looks AWFUL!!! We have his one year old pictures scheduled for tomorrow, but I’m debating on rescheduling them... this haircut is THAT BAD! His hair is all different lengths and there are chunks missing in multiple places. I didn’t know a “professional” haircut could look this bad. I will never come back here.

Been seeing Maria since summer she is very attentive and does exactly what you ask for. She also makes a connection with the kids, she might not remember the parents names but definitely remembers the children’s. I started going to the location in Cooper, Isaac hasn’t seen her in months! We decided to drive out to the Hulen location where she was which took 20 minutes to get there only part that sucks, but I’ll definitely do it just for her! Thanks for your dedicated work!

Staff was very rude. The lady acted like we were annoying her when there was absolutely no one else in the place. When my two year old didn’t want to sit in the kids chair she refused to let us pick another seat or allow me to sit with him. Strongly discourage anyone from going here.

We went into Cool Cuts Hulen today to get my kiddos haircuts. We are from Keller so not our usual place, just happened to be on that side of town. I was pleased with all the options to keep my kids occupied. I have 4 kids from ages 2-12 and they didnt want to leave. The staff was so friendly and accommodating. I have been to several places where we were rushed and felt unwelcome but not at Cool Cuts. Tina took her time with my indecisiveness. I highly recommend her and this place. I will definitely be back!

It has a very nice staff and Maria is awesome with children. My son doesnt let to many people touch his head, hair or face. But she keeps him at ease! If you havent gotten cuts for your kids for back to school I recommend Cool Cuts 4 Kids Hulen.

Liz did an amazing job with my sons first haircut. She was so kind and sweet. My son did not make things easy on her. He was crying and moving around and she still managed to do a great job! I really appreciated that they use natural hair products. Espically sence my son has sensitive skin.

My husband went here for haircuts as a kid, he loved it! So now we take our son. He had his first hair cut done and we had Kathy. She was absolutely the best! She made sure he was comfortable, and me as well . She went above and beyond and I deeply appreciate it. We will definitely keep this place as our go to haircut place.

I’ve been going here since early 2013 and get my hair cut and styled maybe about 1 to 2 times a year sometimes 3. These ladies know exactly what I want with my hair every time I walk in it’s almost like I don’t even need to tell them! They were very friendly and easy to talk with you and the environment is very nice and very clean. They definitely know how to deal with bucking kids and have a BOAT load of things to distract children with to get the haircut you want. I would honestly highly recommend these people, I have yet to get a bad haircut from them and there is no stinky attitudes.

One year old baby was bleeding from his neck for his very first haircut. I have no idea if the electric razor was clean or not. He is not done with his hepatitis vaccine shots yet. What are we going to do now? The cut was also uneven and messy. It was done in under 5 minutes and we paid $20.75 for it. The lady just wanted to get it over with. It was my fault for bringing him to this place. I was fooled by the red and yellow cars. Please dont make the same mistake I did.

If I could give zero stars I would! Took my son for a 1st hair cut. I thought he would freak but moved very little no crying, surprisingly good. But the few times he moves the lady jerked his head and like growled at him to be still She took off way more then I ask off his hair, as Im telling her maam I asked you for just a trim off the top no more please stop cutting she rolls her eyes at me and said fine finishes up and at this point my child was crying because of the growling and head jerking, so we proceeded to pay a ridiculous amount because it was a 1st haircut package. Well what a 1st cut. Traumatized a little boy. Will never put my child through that again!

This is the first place I took my son for his first hair cut. My God I was stunned and happy. Very nice people. And a little play area, toys to buy, design seats, and tv for the kids to watch.

My 5 year old is very difficult and always moving. Another place butchered his hair, so we brought him in to Cool Cuts. They were fantastic with him. Very patient. And they did a wonderful job.

Worse experience! My 3 years old got the worse hair cut! I honestly think he could’ve done a better job on his own. Besides cutting it all uneven, she made his ear bleed didn’t even say SORRY!Manager said I didn’t have to pay according to her it was a “FREE HAIRCUT” I honestly don’t know why they have inexperienced stylist especially when dealing with kids. What made it worse and got me super mad was that my son left crying telling me it was all his fault! Already called corporate and made a complaint waiting for the owner to give me a call. Totally unacceptable.

Way kid friendly and very patient barbers. They have different chairs for the kid to sit in (train, truck etc) and a tv right in front of the chair and mirror. They even have a play area (closed off) for siblings!! 😊

My son did really well. I guarantee they have your kids favorite cartoon ready to go. That was a great distraction for my lil one. They have a keepsake bag for the hair clippings and hair products made for babies.

Ive taken my 2 year old son here three times and have only had one positive experience.First Trip: We took him in for his first haircut. Explained what we wanted done (just a trim to get the hair out of his eyes), stylist said okay and got to it. She ignored everything we had said and just did her own thing, cutting his curls and everything.Second Trip: I decided to give them another chance, thinking maybe I hadnt explained myself well enough. This time I made it very clear I just wanted his bangs trimmed, nothing else touched. All went well and we left happy.Last Trip: We were taking him for his first real cut, getting rid of the baby curls. I prepared well in advance, loading a photo of the style I wanted (just a typical boys cut, nothing fancy). When we were called up the stylist got him ready and was about to begin cutting without even asking what we wanted! I stopped her and showed her the picture of what I wanted, she said okay and began.I was occupied with keeping my son distracted and facing forward that I wasnt able to keep a close eye on the stylist. Well, she ignored what I had asked for and cut it very short, not at all what I had wanted. Then she pulled out the clippers and buzzed the sides. Again, absolutely what I did NOT want!My Thoughts: I wont be taking my son to Cool Cuts again. I might recommend them to parents that just wanted their kids hair cut and didnt care what it looked like. You will be getting whatever cut the stylist knows so dont bother with suggestions.Someone else had mentioned the play area being dirty. They are correct, it is absolutely disgusting. Its obvious the toys have never, not once, been washed. The train set is black from kids hands and the duplo blocks are coated with food and dried.. well who knows. But one look at them and I steered my son away.

Really love the service. I have a sensor kid who does not like haircuts. At all. So the distraction of the video games help. The ladies are always careful and respectful while cutting his hair.

Great experience. Walked in on a Saturday and we got in within 15 minutes. The staff was good at distracting my rambunctious toddler so he didnt mind having to sit still for a haircut and it was a breeze. We were in and out of there much faster than anticipated with no tears whatsoever.

Weve been taking our son here for a couple years now! Several dif stylists have cut his hair but our fave is miss Mary! She is so good with him! He was a screamer until just recently and now lives to go see her!!! The whole staff is super nice and great at what they do!

My son loves this place, he sits in a fire truck, watches his favorite movie and has a hair cut. The cut may not be the best in the world but the kids are happy so the experience is not traumatic.

Every time Ive taken my children to this location for a haircut, which is all of three times, the stylists basically butchered their hair. My poor daughters hair was left looking like Moe from Three Stooges the first time we took her. The second and most recent time we just need her bangs done. It looked like the lady put a bowl on her head and cut anything that stuck out. They were also very uneven. Now as for my son, I understand he can be difficult. Hes on the autism spectrum and hates getting his hair cut, but these ladies dont even try to be a little understanding in the least. In a town as large as Fort Worth, my son cant be the only one on the spectrum to visit this location. When I say no clippers and only scissors, I mean exactly that. So dont ask me if the smaller ones are ok. None of them are ok.My wife and I gave this location three chances. This location blew all of them. Three strikes, no more business.

I used to bring my son here all the time when he was younger (now17) and he used to love it. So now I have 2 girls 5&7 and automatically look here to get their hair cut since my son has such a great experience there. When I called to set a appt time the lady on the other line seems like she just doesnt care! I have 2 beautiful girls and Im not trying to have some rude no customer service ass lady take care of them. Booked a appt that I wont be going to instead I booked @ Kazaams in Arlington where the lady had 0 attitude and was super sweet also out of 43 reviews only 2 negative and it wasnt about the haircuts. This is also a kids cut place! Cant wait to see how her service is! They get 2 stars because of past experience!

Took my son here yesterday. The lady was not friendly at all and she left my poor son with a bowl cut! Yuck! Did not blend the top and bottom which makes it look choppy. Worst of all she just gave the worse customer service. I love cool cuts, but this location is the worst!!

WORST haircut my son has ever gotten! It was completely butchered, uneven and not blended AT ALL! The cut took 7min tops and he literally had long pieces of hair all over his head AFTER the “cut”. I’m not gonna bash the place because overall it was somewhat nice and I want to believe the other ladies actually know how to cut hair. I wish I would have gotten the name of the lady that butchered my sons hair but I didn’t think to ask.

We were standing in line to purchase a bow and a train with a line of haircut clients behind us and the woman at the register allowed another haircut client to cut in front of the entire line of seven or so patrons because we did not have a service done even though the people behind us in line had all had haircut services.

I placed a phone call to get some information before I brought my son to get his first haircut. The lady (I believe she said her name was Kayla) who answered the phone was so rude that I end up hanging up. It bothers me that a company that deals with kids would employ some one that rude and with a bad attitude. I decided to check them out on Google reviews and guess what, someone else also had the same experience and had left a review about it. I will never do business with this company and i will make sure to let other parents be aware of this. This place is suppose to deal with our kids? Not my son for sure. My score to this place is 0/10.
