Monica was wonderful! She is very professional. I needed a last minute beard trim and she fit me in real quick. She is very professional and does a great job with lining. It is a little pricey but comparable to other places in Fort Worth and you get what you pay for. Can’t comment too much on haircuts because I did not get one but from the look of my beard I’m sure she is great with hair too.

Ive been going to Monica for almost 5 years now and she makes me look fly everytime. I love that shes a small business owner and hustles her butt off to get me in, get me taken care of, and genuinely cares about my life (and consequently my appearance.) She offers suggestions in a helpful way and wants to someday grow her business to bring in like minded barbers. As a Black guy, its sometimes hard to find a barber whos on-time, considerate of my time, and worth the expense. I constantly tell her she should charge more (because you pay for what you get.) Though it may hinder my chance of getting in when I want, I highly recommend Monica and Blues Barbershop and Shave Parlor to any and everyone, especially guys who want a Barber thats family and who knows your name.

I’ve been going to Monica for about three years. My boyfriend actually referred her to me (he’s been getting his hair cut by her forever). She’s amazing with color, cut, and style! Whatever you want. She also always has a smile on her face and is super easy to talk to. I just say her recently and went from long hair to super short! I had super thick blonde hair so I’m super picky when it comes to hair dressers. She’s amazing and I will be coming back next time I need a cut or color :)

Been coming here every month for about 6 months so I guess you could say she was doing a good job until my recent visit where I actually didnt get to get my haircut because after setting my appointment and driving about 45 mins to get there I arrive about 6 minutes late due to traffic and she tells me she has to reschedule because my appointment will run into her next appointment. I ask when her next one is and she tells me its 2 hours from the current time, plenty of time for a guys haircut right? Nope. Truth comes out and she has to go do some personal business then return by 2 for her other appointment. I guess loyalty means nothing nowadays. Needless to say she lost a regular client.
