This is utterly the most evil, horrible, and vile corporation that has ever existed. I hate them with a passion unparalleled by anything on this Earth. Their website is so inept at processing even the most basic request that any attempt to log into an account or to pay a balance is utterly impossible. I will never again use their toll roads and will drive days out of my way to avoid them because it will be less stressful than trying to pay their toll fee. I traveled through their toll road one time over a year ago and Im still receiving bills, fees, and unknown charges. Do not ever use an NTTA toll road you will regret it for the rest of your life!!!
Waited a little bit and the young lady was very helpful. We got the tag and we are happy with the experience.
My old car had a Toll Tag on it and the system didnt catch it and charged me 2.66. I told the worker that my old car had a Toll Tag and she argued with me that it wasnt in the system. So instead of quibbling over 2.66, I just paid for it. Then again government workers dont have to worry about good customer service or being fired.

Came in to see about getting a toll tag and was in and out within 10mins, toll tag in hand. Employee that helped me was friendly and efficient. All other employees assisting other customers had a calm and courteous demeanor. Covid-19 preventative steps enforced including minimum occupancy and hand sanitizer.

Whoa this place is so unprofessional we walked in & the lady started screaming 😱 about capacity instead of saying it in a kind way then told me to wait outside all while 4 famalies are leaving and theres 4 ppl in here besides me & my mom. What a joke. Then shes joking with other customers talking about us like we are the problem shes in booth #5. African American lady with small dreds in her head.
I dont know why people are giving this place such bad reviews. We came on a Saturday. The line was almost non-existent with 4 stations open. Our clerk was very polite and helpful, and when observed the other 3, everyone seemed to be getting served quickly. I recommend this store highly!
Reviews do NOT lie. I called because its so difficult to open an online account plus i kept getting a notification saying they couldnt process the 20$ once my account hits below 5$ the lady i was on the phone with had no patience what so ever when i asked what i was charged for and what my balance was trying to get numbers together on my end. So i said OK ill pay the remaining balance and cancel she said i would have to pay more because the balance was a discount price. So i responded so whats the difference of me paying the (discounted price) now then canceling a couple days from now ? Then magically seconds later, No worries your able to cancel today with the discounted price. THIS LOCATION AND THE NTTA IS A JOKE!
Line was a little long, but that was no problem because they still managed to get everyone through quickly. I worked with Mary, and she was amazing! Super sweet and understanding of the issue. She worked with me on my very large bill and got me signed up for a toll tag. I walked out with no more fees.
Waited in line just to be told they couldn’t help even after I was told they could look up the account by telephone by the lady as I walked in then got to the counter and was told nope need another info to get the tag total waste of time and not a professional company

I received a letter stating that a toll bill was due. I went online to attempt to pay the bill and could not login to an account to pay the bill, even after several attempts. I first tried NTTA.org, and then zip cash. Also the billing is confusing, two separate entities to pay the toll fees accessed?? The NTTA account number isnt even on the bill. Only zip cash account number, which is different from NTTA account number.Also....why must you login to pay a bill???????? I have used and paid several other toll authority companies bills online. Just go to their website, clearly listed on the bill, enter license plate number and account number and done. pay bill and go about your day. No login BS. just entered supplied info and pay the bill.NTTA online payment process is tedious at best, just a pain to use. Total BS. I will have to call them during business hours to get this issue resolved. I will now avoid all NTTA tolls.Why cant there be one central authority for the entire state of TX?????

Ive always had a good experience at the FW location; no complaints.
I had to call 4 times. I paid them 788$. Only 208$ was actual tolls. The rest were admin fees. I asked if that was all my invoices they said yes. Never emailed me a receipt logged in to see if I could print it. And shockingly still have an Unpaid invoice for .80 cents. WHY WOULD I LEAVE THAT UNPAID. I called for the 5th time to get a receipt. They were rude and unhelpful. I will never drive on a ntta road again. I will gladly sit in traffic than give another dime to this Monopoly. They are crooks and tyrants.
Honesty I was treated very rudely. Was told, not asked, that they needed to see drivers license, then my credit card and the lady took them both and kept them behind a counter for the longest time as if she might not give them back to me. Never a smile or even a please. Will never ever go back there.
From out of state. I waited on a bill that never arrived in the mail for months, then received a 2nd notice of non payment for $38.99 ($3.99 for the original toll bill, which I never received, then $10 for a 1st notice of non payment, which I never received, and then $25 for this 2nd notice) When I called I was told that 1. Their system said that the bills were delivered successfully (which is not the case because they would have been paid,) and 2. That no fees could be waived, then 3. in a sudden pivot, that (because Im from out of state) only a $10 fee maximum could be waived because it was policy a policy which the supervisor I was talking to could/would not point me to as she refused to stay on line with me or give me a direct number back to her if I looked it up online for verification. And I have yet to find said policy on their website. So much for the easily accessible information and service from cooperative staff that they promise on the Customer Bill of Rights on their website. She said that if I had called upon receiving the first notice (which I couldnt do seeing as I never got one) she would have waived the fee. When I asked her why the situation was different this time (now that I actually received something from them), I was met with silence. She would just continue to revert, with a tone of impatience, back to saying its policy, sir. So all I can say is, build some toll booths and get rid of this absolutely unreliable bill-by-mail system, unless you just enjoy screwing over out-of-state drivers.
Horrible customer service. They told me my account was in great standing and never had a problem with payment, but I still got a bill from TXTag because NTTA didnt bill it correctly. I spoke with the supervisor and he was horrible. I think even the DMV is nicer.
The toll road is completely paid off yet they continue to up the fees every 2 years... Frustrating experience. At least the employees were friendly.

NTTA is highway robbery. Excuse the pun. Unbelievably over-the-top and inflated processing and late fees, phantom charges. A simple toll can cost hundreds of dollars to an individual who forgot to update her or his card or license plate, or simply forgot to go in manually and pay the toll. How they get away with this robbery is amazing to me. Absolutely shameful that our public leaders tolerate this mistreatment and abuse of ordinary citizens, to an organization they have given a local monopoly to. SHAME ON YOU
I hate the Chisholm trail. Did you know its owned by China? Also if youre late the late fee is 100 % of the price and if you dont pay it it doubles again. I refuse to use it. When it was being built I was looking forward to using it until I found out its a toll road. Makes me so angry and then I find out its owned by China! Outrageous. DONT USE IT. Make them eat the money it costs build it.
I went in to get a 3rd tag for the new car. I had no issues at all. The place was clean and the employees were cheerful as well as very helpful. Canutry (sorry if I spelled your name wrong) was AWESOME! I was in and out in under 6 minutes. Thank you!
NTTA should be considered organized crime. Try to pay my bill that THEY sent to the wrong place that has now turned into a extraordinary high number. They wont even offer me a payment plan because Im not a risk. They state that they only do payment plans for those who do not pay for months and continuously get notices for non payment. Customer service was rude and idiotic. I literally quit my job because of the new toll road they installed that cost me almost 20 dollars ONE WAY just to get to work. Who the hell can actually afford that!

Not enough people staffed. Too many walking around bring unproductive. When I finally got to one who could help me she was efficient, helpful and pleasant.
I agreed to a monthly payment with them. I only have 2 complaints with this process. I HAVE to call in order to make this payment.One, they do not have automatic payments or an online payment option. Two, when I do call, Nobody answers the phone and I have to leave a message. You should make this more efficient. People cant wait around all day to make a payment. I am trying to hold up my end of the agreement, can you?
This business needs to be reported to the better business. Its all one large scam. First of all there is no automated system to pay over the phone, so you must call during there business hours which I cant do. So it gives me the option to pay online but when I type in the web address my only option is to log in. Thats it, no website, no create an account button, no I forgot my username or my password option which by the way I have never created an account so I have no way to log in. So I wait to call days later when I finally have time and they have no way of looking up my account without the account number which I dont have on me. Theres no other options. I feel like they intentionally make it very difficult to pay so then they can add ridiculously high fees that can take it from a $5 toll to over $300. SCAM....SCAM.....SCAM. I will never take a toll road again at all cost because in the end its $295 cheaper to take the long way around. I also encourage everyone else to avoid any toll roads as well.
The people here are lovely, unfortunately the people who own this corrupt organization are double charging me for the same toll and today they sent me an email that THEY have decided to increase my automatic debit from $20 to $40? Ummm why? Because they noticed my usage had gone up. Oh really! Yeah its gone up cause youre double charging me. I love TX but this NTTA scam should be a warning that The Swamp has come to town. I remember when people were told Dont Mess With Texas. I understand the roads cost money and I dont mind paying extra for the convenience of the tolls but to be taken advantage of by greedy people who have way more than enough to not be greedy and still live better than 99% of us, and then our TX government just sits back and lets them do it no matter how many complaints.
All employees greeting me with a Welcome to Tollway Authority. Everything that I needed to know to know was explained in detail and in a friendly manner. Costumer service was great! I went in about 15 minutes before closing and got my toll tag in 5 minutes.
Criminal...you sell a vehicle which is towed prior to a name change the toll has the authority to charge for the vehicle and the tow truck. The second reason I dont ever use scumbag toll ways... Disgraceful way to make money...

Scam of a company, late fees for a notice I never received in the mail. Finally got one that said 2nd late notice, what happens if they just conveniently forget to mail them out.

I have a toll tag. And some how I get a zip bill in the mail for 373$ while my account is still being charged.
I called to pay my bill that I received four days till it was due, and explained to the lady I couldn’t pay it over the phone it kept hanging up on me and they refused to wave the late till I sat on hold, and to top it off I told her I didn’t even know I was on a toll road and she said there are lots of people that get bills that didn’t know they were in a toll road, now with that said I was on my way to a doctors appointment and it was the only way to go due to the construction and there are no signs at all stating that there is a toll road ahead or that you are even on one, this is a scam
NTTA is a scam.Their billing system will randomly fail to apply tolls to a current account, then bill outrageous fees even for tiny toll amounts. In our case, they spent the whole summer sending bill notices for 87 cents to the wrong address. When I finally caught the error while updating my credit card, theyd taken the liberty of tacking on a $35 fee.Yep, $35 in fees on 87 cents in unpaid bills. And we had a current Tolltag account for the car in question for that entire time. They couldve applied it to our auto-renewing balance, but of course then they wouldnt get to turn 87 cents into $35.I called out the CSR and her manager bluntly on the conflict of interest and they absolutely refused to waive the fees.And why would they? NTTA has spent a lot of money greasing palms in the Texas legislature, so now they have the weight of the law preventing customers from any effective recourse. We can pay the usurious fees or get endlessly increasing fines and then citations. They can turn your 50 cents into hundreds of dollars, loss of license, and maybe more.Be smart: avoid NTTA like the plague if at all possible. If you cant avoid them, watch them like a hawk.
If it feels this corrupt, then you know someone is getting paid. From start to finnish, the way NTTA has lobbied their way into the texas government. To the blind contracts our congressmen keep extending to avoid any major shift in the coffers. And finally to the bearly coherent in-house debt collectors. I just had a very pleasant telephone experience with the customer service team. My phone call lasted 5 minutes and my problem was solved. My toll tag is coming loose from the windshield and they are mailing a replacement to me.

Thats the good newsBAD NEWS-I had a car without a TollTag, so I was paying the higher Zip Cash price.I went to this location and added a TollTag to this car, so that I wouldnt be paying higher rates.I thought I paid the last ZipCash bill, and then the TollTag would kick in.NOPE, the person typed the license plate in wrong and I got billed the Zip Cash rate PLUS Admin fees ( laughable)And of course, they dont want to take any responsibility even though they admitted it was their fault.Hmmm, interesting way to run a businessThank you for admitting your wrong and then saying Have a nice day#IDIOTS

The NTTA is one of the biggest scams and actually violates the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act in numerous ways. The amount of incompetence that is practiced must be on purpose....
So I use my car for ridesharing companies like Deliv and Amazon, I racked up a $532 bill I went online to pay what I owed they will not let you pay what you owe without the administrative fees, they then put a block on my registration, I call them to remove the block, they told me I need to pay $369 down and $140 a month for 10 months they charged me $1734, I do not see how this is legal.

The line up front is a little cramped and these ladies will not be rushed in their work, but they are very kind and wont give you a hassle. Expect to wait 10-15 minutes at least and just be kind.Also the store faces away from the street. Its opposite of the Old Navy, so you cant miss it.
