I would highly recommend this attorney for divorce cases. The way my divorce was handled, I am grateful. The first time that I got divorce it was a very bad situation. Perhaps knowing what to expect in the proceedings the second time around was a plus. I really like the way Bills team stayed on top of everything. The communication was good. Even when I called back into the office with questions they always had answers. I never thought that I would get divorced again, they eased the agony of the whole situation for me. Thank you!

I would recommend this law firm in a heartbeat. Went into a custody hearing totally blind and unsure. Bill understood what I was facing without me saying it and supported my case throughout the almost year it took, after motions, to continue. I had started the journey with a different attorney and after deciding it wasn’t a good fit for the case switched, from recommendation, to Bill. The whole family was there for me the day of trial to provide support and I was truly in awe of how much Bill and Hannah actually understood about my case and their honest and direct way to approach anything that was said. Bill and Hannah listened to me throughout the trial and anything I could say that helped was presented (not everything I said, but what was helpful, that’s what they were there to decide). That was huge to me as Bill told me continuously you know this person best. There were times when I wanted a response faster during the months proceeding but I had to remind myself that they were fighting for other families. I will be forever grateful to Bill, Hannah, Denna, and Beth for making an unbearable experience worthwhile in the end. If you are reading this review I’m sorry for what you are going through. Remember it’s about the kids and I can absolutely say that in my opinion Bill and his team are exceptional at what they do.

Bill is great. He is no nonsense and is honest with you. I felt like I got good advice from him during my custody modification. I had a different attorney for my divorce and then initially for my modification. I fired her when it was clear she was charging me an arm and a leg to do absolutely nothing. I hired Bill and felt like he was very fair and forthcoming. His office staff is great and kept me in the loop. I will recommend Bill to anyone who needs a divorce or custody attorney.

I had a wonderful experience with this law firm. They handled a custody case for me and always made me feel like high priority. Any lawyer can file your case and show up, but Bill and his wife treat you like family and really gave me the facts, comfort, and peace of mind that I paid for. Mr. Pruitt was very nice, knowledgeable, honest, and reasonable with me. He gave me an hours worth of free consultation, and unlike many lawyers Ive dealt with, really seemed genuinely more interested in finding the right attorney for me versus taking my money. I ended up hiring a colleague he recommended instead of him because he was honest and said that due to prior commitments he would be unable to dedicate the time he felt my situation needed, but he and his office staff still made themselves available to help me during my search and were always happy to promptly call me back and answer any questions I had. Wonderful law office, all around.

Please do not waste your money hiring this attorney. They leave you in the dark about everything happening with your case. Never remembers previous conversations regarding your case. We hired him back in March 2018 and nothing was never done. Court dates were rescheduled several times, and they are always on vacation. We constantly had to call his office to get updates which they charge you for. Never received documents through email that they are suppose to send regarding case. Mixes your case information up with other clients and it’s just an all around roller coaster. Keep your money and use a cheaper option!!

The office is ran by family. The wife is rude, disrespectful, dishonest and calls clients outliers. She has sworn to have contacted my fiance for court and she never did. She couldnt prove that she contacted us so she just said we were liars. When asked how did she contact us she could not provide us with that information. I would not recommend this law firm to my worst enemy.

My sister found a couple reviews that upset me as they mirrored exactly what I had experienced. I constantly had to repeat myself about the particulars of the case. The first court date was postponed which in itself is fine however I only learned of there being a court date the day before to let me know that it had been rescheduled. To date the majority of my retainer has been spent on emails and phone calls.I was asked to sign a document that I had already agreed and signed against my better judgement. I stated that I alread signed said document and was told that I would need to talk to Mr. Pruitt. I waited roughly 2 weeks, I get a call stating that I needed to sign the document. I then stated that I was waiting on a call from Mr. Pruitt and I will not be signing a document that I didnt agree with. After 2 more weeks I get another irritating and unprofessional call from his office more or less bottom lining me to sign the document. I again reminded them then I would not be signing the document until I spoke to Mr. Pruitt. 2 more weeks go by, that is when I send a letter stating my grievance and would no longer require any services with them via email, that email was sent August 18, 2019 it is now September 8, 2019 I have not heard from this office regarding the issue. I would call but I fear that I would be charged for that.This office does reply to reviews however I dont recall seeing replies to the negative ones. Perhaps this will get there attention.The negative reviews that I found almost entire reflect what I had been dealing with from this office.I agreed his is a straight forward guy, but the follow through is definitely lacking.Update 9/13: I was given the option to appear in court for two things one of which was an order on motion for withdrawal of counsel, which is what I wanted however what is disturbing is, I walked with this man in the hallway, I rode the elevator with him. I sat in the waiting area watch him chat with the other attorneys. When it was time I sat in the court and waited. He is the first to be called. While most of what he said was barely intelligible (he just wasnt speaking loudly enough) but I could hear his snidetone and he repeated some words in my email to him. I knew he was speaking of me when I was able to hear him and I heard him repeating lines from my email to the paralegal so I ask the bailiff if I should be up there, he interupts the judge and states that i am there. Mr Pruitt (in my opinion) looked surprised that I was there. The point I am making is the hall way walk, the elevator ride, hanging out outside the court room and in the court room. I had checked in. This man,MY ATTORNEY, did not know who I was and is being snide about the situation and his client. With that said he received and read my email and chose to do nothing other than grant my request to release him as my attorney of record.I feel like the BAR should be contacted regarding his behavior and possibly sharing even in part a confidential email to him from me to a paralegal representing my wife, surely there is some recourse from this.

Really like this guy at the consultation..was honest and straight forward.. gave me some names which was kind of him..like the person i went to but not sure i shouldnt have retained him.. think he may have been tougher...

We hired Mr Pruett to handle a case concerning Adjudicating the Parentage of our children. These are my OPINIONS concerning Mr Pruetts conduct:1. It is my opinion that he did not properly prepare my wife to be a witness.2. It is my opinion that he did not explain to her at all what he or the other attorney would be saying or asking when she got on the witness stand.3. It is my opinion that he was showing her evidence on the stand, and never even told her that he would be showing it to her, prior to her being on the stand.4. It is my opinion that since it took her by surprise, she was confused and stammered on the stand.5. It is my opinion that this made it look like she was making stuff up as she went along.6. It is my opinion that each and every time that we talked to him, even to request court dates and times, over the phone, he charged us money.7. It is my opinion that he misfiled the first motion to dismiss, as stated by the judge and the opposing counsel.8. It is my opinion that he was wanting us to have him schedule the next hearing as soon as possible, when WE were the respondents. Why would WE want to get back to court as soon as possible, so that the OPPOSING PERSON could try to get something from US?I could not, in good conscience, recommend this attorney to anyone.

I greatly appreciate all that Mr. Pruett and his staff did for us during a most difficult time in our lives. Mr. Pruett and his staff were top notch, they kept us posted via calls, emails or texts. I would not refer mr Pruitt to anyone. I used him for two different issues. First issue he was great, case was time sinsitive and it got resolved quick. Then the next issue wasnt legally time sensitive but was costing me, the longer it wasnt fixed. It went on for 6 months with nothing being resolved. I would contact them and it was one excuse after another. I gave them bank statements, check stubs and tax info twice, then they said they never received it (I know they got it because I email it) or it was opposing counsel wasnt responding. All of this was costing me more and more money. Finally I called opposing counsel to find out if anything has been done. They said my attorney hasnt even called them or done anything. That was ended my confidence in mr Pruitt and me being his client. I think what they did was Criminal, charging me for not doing anything and Dragging it out so they can make more money. I paid them thousands of dollars. I got nothing for my money but BS. Ive asked for last invoice via email and they said they mailed it but I never received it. Then I emailed them again that I never received it and never responded. Whats sad is I hired another attorney and got it resolved in one month. I wil be filing a report with BBS so I can get my last invoice and maybe stoping one prospective client from being taken advantage of.
