I signed a lease for a studio in late April for a move-in date near two months later. On my move-in day, the apartment was UNDER CONSTRUCTION and I was forced to stay in a hotel. The next day I move my belongings in and there is saw dust and dirt everywhere NO ONE BOTHERED TO CLEAN! I did not have a washer at move-in, the sink drain did not work, ice maker did not work, and there were cabinets missing. For the past two months, maintenance and contractors have come by (I suppose whenever they feel like it) to tend to the concerns of my apartment. A day after they installed a washer in my apartment it flooded by bedroom because it was not installed properly. Management largely shrugged their shoulders at the water in my carpet. Today, they came into my apartment without permission (I was not home) to install a cabinet. Par for the course with this establishment, the paint on the cabinet is too dark and they left saw dust all over the floor and counters. Lastly, someone drove through gate in the garage over a month ago, and it has yet to be fixed, so dont let them sell you on a safe-secure parking garage.Questions to ask prior to signing a lease at Aviator West 7th:Will my apartment be under construction when I move in?Will my apartment flood from running the washer? Will there be screws stuck in the garbage disposal? Will the dishwasher ever work? Will contractors enter the apartment without permission leaving a mess?Or, you can sign a lease at an apartment with competent managers.

Great location and trash valet + maintenance are on point but omg walls and floors are VERY thin, even if you call the patrol officer he won’t be able to help if he doesn’t hear it in the hallway (not his fault) but you can certainly hear it from the bedroom. I’ve reached out to 3 neighbors asking if it was them waking me up at 2am during the week with no luck so my guess is it’s the one diagonal above me because we technically share the same wall. I’ve also been woken up twice due to the fire alarm going off for no reason except for problems with power outage due to the winter storm back in February…from what I’ve seen definitely don’t recommend living near the pool if you like peace and quiet. garage gate arm thing has been broken a few times and key fob hasn’t worked a few times as well but I can live with those, if it wasn’t for the noise I’d give this place 5 stars

Would give 3.5. I have lived here between 4-5yrs. Overall it is good: maintenance staff friendly, office staff responds quickly, A/C good and washer/dryer, walk-in showers available, pool great only shallow, love kitchen island. Biggest drawbacks: noise through windows and ventilation, dishwasher no bueno, door seals, parking enforcement not really, security doors going out, be careful about oversized packages. Overall it is a good place, after all is owned by big company. Another positive, police officer in site. Would recommend.

Pretty good place to stay. My only MAJOR issue is living near the pool area! College students are at the pool mainly EVERY weekend and play music VERY LOUD (over your tv kind of loud) from noon until 8/9pm in the summer. There’s no one you can call to have them turn the music down. You can also find Loud music playing during the week, after work hours. It’s most annoying when you have a newborn that needs to sleep and can’t because of the loud music and talking/yelling from majority of people that do NOT live in the apartment complex. There is a “rule” where it’s SUPPOSED to be 1-2 guest per resident…but weekly there’s literally a loud party all day!! If you can avoid living near the pool area, I think you’d like this complex.

Absolutely absolutely BLOWN away with the customer service and home feel of this apartment complex. My boyfriend and I are moving into the Fort Worth area from North Carolina for work. We had such a long day searching for apartments and they just weren’t hitting home like this place did. The facilities are top notch and very modern, the prices are reasonable and the location is to die for. Walkable to bars, restaurants and shopping! We decided to apply for an apartment the same night we toured the property and went back the next day to walk the entire layout. We also went back with a list of questions and once again they were very accommodating. I have faith that our questions were taken to heart and we will be taken care of in the long run! It’s incredibly beautiful and we truly can’t wait for our time at this complex! I have very high hopes!!I have to take a moment to speak about Katie, the leasing consultant. She is a ROCKSTAR! She was so informative, personable and such a kind soul! She really personified the definition of customer service!! She made us feel at home and very comfortable leaving with more than enough knowledge to make our decision. She truly is one of the best!!

I’m currently 6 months into my lease and have really enjoyed living here. The building is well maintained and clean; there are a few pet owners that don’t pickup after their dogs, but you’ll experience that at any complex. I haven’t had to open many maintenance request, but the few times that I did, they were taken care of the next day. The amenities are great. The gym just got new flooring put in and the saltwater pool is always clean. The location is GREAT! There is a public park across Foch Street. The gated dog park just opened back up (was closed due to COVID). Montgomery Plaza is just on the other side of Carroll St. Trinity Park/Trinity Trails is about 0.5 mile walk from here. Restaurants and bars (once reopened) are also within walking distance.Overall, I would recommend this complex to anyone.Katie, in the leasing office, is very helpful and super nice. I would recommend asking for her to help you move in.

My girlfriend and I are moving to the DFW area and we came across this absolute hidden gem of a community. I am not one to submit reviews but I was so impressed I simply have to. Katie the leasing specialist was both personable and informative showing us the diverse amenities the community has, but it was her welcoming spirit that also drew us in. Exemplifying the warmth and down to earth kindness indicative of Texas we were blown away. The community is perfectly nestled in the Linwood neighborhood just a short walk from a plethora of eats and drinks, shopping, and local charm. Of the many places we toured in the area, it was Aviator West 7th that earned the gold not just for the incredible location and conveniences, but for the exceptional people as well. Thank you!!

Nice place to call home! I absolutely love this apartment complex. The office staff and maintenance staff is extremely helpful. They solve any issues within few hours or even minutes. They do great job on keeping place clean. There are a nice gym and swimming pools...I like their option with storage units which is perfect for my needs. There is only one minus with the sound insulation. I can hear my neighbor above talking, walking and vacuuming... however it depends on the neighbor. I didn’t have such issue before when I was in a different apartment a couple years ago... despite of this I still highly recommend Aviator.

The facility is really nice, the service is less than exceptional. Being that covid has made everything weird for everyone, I had patience at first for lack of organization at the office. They didn’t have all of our keys ready. We didn’t receive an inventory or discrepancy form, we had to ask for it days after the move. We rented a storage unit and they didn’t return our key after making copies (we had to leave all of our stuff in the unit overnight and unlocked). I moved in with two other roommates and we left boxes and some trash from the move outside of our door for A DAY with intentions of taking care of it on our own. It took them days to get us keys and only hours for an email with a photo and a warning to be fined already. The apartment itself is really nice, but it wasn’t as clean as I would have expected. There were beard hairs in the drawer in the master bathroom and the washer ruined $100 worth of sheets and a bunch of clothes from what looked like left over oil. When I called the office to let them know we aren’t very happy with the service Stephanie answered and wasn’t helpful. She’d “personally never had a washer do that” and suggested I make a maintenance request.Overall, we have not felt very welcomed. Being that we are in a quarantine, home takes on a different meaning and should feel like home.Other staff (Katy) have been very sweet and helpful.....Salina, the manager contacted us and took care of our complaints as well as addressed the issues we had. I was very impressed by her response. Overall my family and I love living here and would recommend this complex.

Pros: Great location. Great maintenance staff. Nice apartments, pool, and exercise rooms.Cons: A lot of smell issues. There is some god awful sewage smell that comes from a grate in the parking lot. This would be forgivable, except the parking lot is right next to the pool and many days youll be at the pool trying to relax in luxury and that smell would blow over and ruin any relaxation that was possible. Another big issue is all the dogs. If you are a dog owner you will probably love this place because there are SO many dogs. I dont own dogs and I dont like dogs so it became a big problem for me. The halls all smell like wet dog. A lot of owners do a very poor job picking up after their dog, so the grass strip outside the building along Foch Street is generally littered with dog droppings. It is especially bad in front of the door near the pool. Tons of dog waste and the area smells so horrible you cant walk by without gagging. We also had an issue with connected ventilation between apartments. In the last few months we lived there we apparently got new neighbors who smoke a lot of weed. We would come home from work and the whole place would smell like a Cyprus Hill concert. It was especially strong in the bathroom.Overall it was a pretty good place to live. My biggest issue was that they billed themselves as (and charge as if they are) luxury apartments. They could be that, but it is hard feel like you are living in luxury when the luxurious pool smells like sewer, the grounds smell like a dog kennel, the halls smell like wet dog, and your neighbors are weed smokers who dont pick up after their dogs.Like I said, if you are a dog owner, you will probably love this place. If you are not, I would recommend going somewhere else.

Update: I was advised there was only an email and no number to the corporate office. They refused to give a number. I emailed mwells and never received a reply. I still have not received a call or reply but the supposed manager can comment on this post. Apparently, you have to write a negative review to get a comment. A smell of mold or mildew constantly is not good enough. This reply from a ghost MWells is bogus. Read the reviews on the management company Internacional Realty Mgmt. They have dozens of complaints. You can’t even google it and get a number that works. Before you move here do your research!! I pay my rent on time and never caused any issues. All I wanted was clean and fresh air.The apartments look nice, but there is a horrible smell. Possible mildew and mold issues. The smell goes away and comes back again. Maintenance says it’s a dead rodent in the attic. It’s only bad when it’s hot outside.. Umm.. regardless it’s not the tenants problem. That’s their problem. Management does not reply or respond to issues. They are very negligent. Trust me. It’s not worth the hassle to live here.Pros:I love my apartment. I’ve been living here for 9 months. The location is perfect. The amenities are well kept. It’s a pet friendly community. Sometimes pets are not on the leash that’s annoying but not a biggie. The elevator does break often, but it’s fixed immediately. Everything you need is in walking distance. The maintenance is very friendly. Salina is the only professional person there. If she is not there. Don’t go to the leasing office because you will regret it. Although she is professional she doesn’t follow up on requests.Cons:The 1 stars are the other ladies in the leasing office. The management doesn’t update you on request. They ignore you as if it’s going to disappear.I sent an email to the apartments about a maintenance request. The next day, I waited awhile and no phone call. I walked to the leasing office. I don’t know her name but she is the leasing agent to the far left. She calls maintenance in front of me at that time. It’s very unprofessional and rude to completely dismiss the email by not responding at all or even checking into it. Especially, when you have downtime. The leasing office was empty. This was an urgent maintenance request dealing with a water mildew/mold concern.I should not have to walk inside the office for a status update on a matter like that. After walking outside the leasing office. I decided to call corporate, so I called the main line from outside the door. They ignored my call. When I walked back inside the one on the far left was searching the internet. If you don’t have any tenants inside and you have downtime why are you screening calls. Ladies if you don’t want to help tenants. Find another job! Your job is to help tenants with concerns.

If you do decide to move here, make sure you take pictures when you move out of the entire apartment so you have proof when they try to send you the final move out bill. You will probably be taken advantage of. I moved away from Texas and couldn’t do anything about it after the fact and my account was sent to a collection agency. The people in the front office here are also extremely arrogant and rude. Apartment complex does not have security cameras in parking garage. Multiple vehicles were broken into several months ago and renters were told by management that they were reviewing the video and working with police. Unbeknownst to those who’s vehicle were broken into there was no footage for them to even review and pass along to the police. Then this past weekend someone vandalized my vehicle by jumping onto the hood resulting in a huge dent (roughly $600-$1100 in damage). Management has now admitted that there are no cameras and when asked to post signs or notify the tentants about the incident they have refused. Reason being they don’t want to admit to it’s residents there are no cameras. Absolutely ridiculous.

I waited two weeks to write my review since moving in. I went and saw three different apartment in the downtown ft worth and I was sold on this one. I really wanted a studio style apartment (got inspired after all my Marriott visits). Elan West 7th was the best choice for me. First of all, Jenifer Gomez was perfect from day one. If people actually read this, I think a bonus for her would be nice. haha The neighbors here are really friendly. I dont think I have ran into anyone here that didnt introduced themselves. Of course living in downtown ft worth comes with a price; I think Elan West 7th makes an effort to make their place feel like home in all they do. Who doesnt enjoy a free bottle of water after a 2 mile run at the gym? Also, had an issue that was addressed promptly and by that, I mean the same day.I seriously cant say enough good things about this place. If you are considering living downtown ft worth and have the budget for it, you should look no further than this place.CONS: This is not the apartment fault but owners with dogs that do not clean after their dogs along the patch of grass along the side of the building.

I went down frustrated for the last time yesterday and requested that Kristie, the GM, call the company with me while I was in her office and she proceeded to tell me that I needed to go back to my apartment and call myself and kicked me out of her office and threatened to call the cops if I didnt leave. All because THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKS. If you fixed the problem you wouldnt have angry tenants. On a side note, the property is lovely. It just has a terrible staff. I wouldnt ever in a million years recommend this place to live. You pay the most on 7th street for the newest and nicest apartment, but for the most horrendous hospitality.
