I cant say enough about how happy our entire family has been with the care we receive from Fort Wayne Dental Group. From the simple 6 month cleanings to my sons braces and other care, it has been top notch. I specifically like that they are technology-forward and have some tools that make the cleanings less tedious and more effective. They are also extremely punctual and keep appointment times very well.
I was referred to Fort Wayne Dental Group by a close friend for my 4 year old who has been through a rough time at a pediatric dentist. I was very apprehensive but went ahead and scheduled. I loved how they treated Mariah like she was a big girl and didnt talk to her like she was a baby. She was very receptive and listened so well. Connexting with her on her unicorn sparkly level. They also were very honest and explained things in so much detail it makes me understand trust that they are going to always do what is best for her.
My entire family have been patients here for awhile. Always had pleasant experience. Until today…Dr. Kevin performed a 20-30 min procedure on my son, with me in the room, and never said one word to me. He did not greet me, inform me of any care instructions, or thank me for my business. Found it very rude. Chalking it up to him maybe having a bad day, but be advised he may not be the most personable.
July 20, 2017 was my first visit to FWDG. Most people don’t remember when they went to a particular dentist for the first time, but I do because they literally changed my life. Here I am 4 years later and I love them even more. Their professional and caring staff put you at ease in any situation. I highly recommend FWDG!
Very happy with appointment at Fort Wayne Dental. Exam was thorough, explanation of issues sufficient, price not to painful.
I will never go anywhere for dental work other than this place. Couldn’t find a nicer group of people. Dental work is usually stressful, time-consuming, and painful. Dr. Creech and his staff make the experience, dare I say pleasurable. Wouldn’t trust anyone else in the fort to come at my face with needles!
I have been going to Fort Wayne Dental Group since I was a child. Starting my adolescence care with Dr Wright and then eventually transferring to adult care with Dr Mutton and Dr. Creech. The dental assistants are amazing and they will cater to your needs. Being a person with extreme anxiety when it comes to dentist, they make you feel comfortable and at ease! EASILY the best dental office in town!
My wife and I continued to travel out of county for our dental care after moving to Fort Wayne almost 20 years ago. After having four children we continued traveling out of county, and not because of anything negative here in Fort Wayne specifically either. We wanted to continue visit our small town dentist office where the staff knew our entire family and we were treated like you just don’t get treated in a bigger town. After 18 years though our kids were older and involved in so many more activities that the traveling and scheduling were just to big of a hurdle to keep dealing with. With heavy hearts we knew we had to find some place closer we could ‘live with’ - that was our mindset anyway. Since we just knew we weren’t going to get that personal small-town feel we’d grown to love in a town the size of Fort Wayne we decided our only real priority was to find a place that provided excellent dental care. In a town the size of Fort Wayne we figured several different offices could probably fit that requirement (and I’m certain several other practices in town can meet that requirement). Anything beyond that we figured was simply a bonus. After a lot of consideration we decided we’d give the Fort Wayne Dental Group a try first. After two years I can tell you making the switch to Fort Wayne Dental Group has been one of the BEST decisions we’ve ever made for our family. The entire staff is top notch and we’ve never been treated as anything less than family when we walk through the doors. Very rarely do I write a review - for anything - but I felt like it was so important to do in this case because if you’re looking at reviews then you are where my wife and I were two years ago. When we made the decision to try Fort Wayne Dental Group we ended up finding so much more than just a dentist for our family - we found a home!
My family and I have been patients for about 16 years and we couldn’t be happier! Today Dr. Wright did a cosmetic procedure to fix some fever spots on my daughter’s two front teeth. She had to wait until she was 14 to do the procedure so she’s been very embarrassed for years. Dr. Wright has changed her smile and her confidence. Thank you Dr. Wright!!
I’m not a fan of going to the dentist but this office does a hell of a job understanding and making the experience better. Thanks
Excellent visit…as always! Thanks Dr. Creech
As a mom I do everything I can to make sure my kids are on their best behavior. We were in the waiting room and my kids were jumping around, like a normal 2 and 3 year old. I didnt know they were being disruptive. I was approached by one of the dentists and asked if I had the situation, meaning my children, under control... seriously? You couldnt just have approached me and asked me to not let me children jump up and down. The receptionist then approached me and said the doctor was complaining because my children were being too noisy and asked if she could get them paper and markers to color with ... im sorry but we were referred there for a pediatric dentists due to my daughters fear when it comes to dentists. I just assumed that it was a kid friendly office. Maybe Im being petty but that was our very first visit and I dont ever want to go back. Way to make a mom feel defeated.
I have been going to FORT WAYNE DENTAL GROUP for years. Ive always had a great experience with them. Dr.. Creech always great. I went in yesterday for cleaning and met Chi the new hygienist, I asked to be set up with her again, shes great! Im recommending my sister Bev. This is truly a wonderful practice. Love you all!! JUDY SHULTZ
Was very nervous after not having been to the dentist in a while. The woman who did my cleaning was very friendly & explained everything she was going to do, easing my nerves. My family has been going to this dentist since I was a child ( I am 23 now ) and it’s been a pleasant, professional experience every single time. The best part, they’re ON TIME 99.99% of the time!
My wonderful dentist had retired years earlier. Finally I couldnt wait. Went back and was treated by his dentist daughter. She was as great as her dad! Everyone was kind, polite and understanding. The place was clean and sanitary! Such a relief! Totally recomend. ^v^
I have been going to Fort Wayne dental group for over 30 years. I was Dr. Mutton’s patient until he retired. Now I am the patient of his daughter. I request Kim as my hygienist every time. She does an excellent job cleaning, is friendly and makes sure I am comfortable throughout the process. I have been with a few other hygienists over the years, but Kim is the best. My teeth are not high maintenance, but they have taken care of anything that was popped up. Everyone in the office is very professional and good to work with.
I live in Utah and happened to be visiting Fort Wayne when my husbands crown fell off. My husband has had a lot of dental work done in the past so we were a little scared what costs we were going to be looking at visiting a dentist out of state. When I called and we explained our situation the office staff was so kind and understanding. They gave me realistic estimates over the phone and answered all my questions. They were able to fit us in the next morning and recement the crown. They gave me peace of mind. Thank you Fort Wayne Dental Group!
Almost always on time, never have to wait longer than a minute or two. All staff are pleasant and smiling. Technicians and dentists care about their patients, do a great job, professional. Highly recommend.
This place is out of network from my military dental insurance and I prefer to pay out of pocket to be able to come here. Thats how great they are. Matthew Creech and his staff are absolutely wonderful
They are very friendly and do a very good job. The best thing is that they respect your time. There is no waiting, they take you right in at the time of your appointment.
Always enjoy coming to fw dental group, very nice and professional. They did a great job of following the social distancing guidelines.
Every precaution is taken to protect the patients during the Covid-19 Pandemic! Any dental concerns or anxieties a patient may have upon arrival are thoroughly addressed allowing the patient to leave feeling 100% confident; FtW Dental, awesome Doctors and personable staff are INDIANAS BEST!!!
Extremely friendly receptionists and dental staff! Awesome facility with kid-friendly waiting room. Exceptional service and treatment! I was referred to this place by a friend, and I am so happy I chose this place for my dental exams.
I had a tooth that was loose and swollen on the gum line. The gals at the dentist office worked me in at 5:30 PM on a busy day to get it checked. I am so thankful for a dental office that will do that. We have been patients here for over 30 years. I would highly recommend this practice to anyone looking for a dentist. Dr. Hegge is the 2nd generation dentist here. She is young, like her father was when we started, and hopefully will see us through the end of our lives. Thank you.
Very pleased with the care I received at Fort Wayne Dental Group! I was in a lot of pain, they got me in right away despite not being a previous patient. The staff were so friendly and understanding of my dental anxieties. I would recommend them to anyone needing a dentist in Fort Wayne. I feel a lot of these more negative reviews sound like entitled people with unrealistic expectations. Regardless it doesn’t match my experience at all, which was quick, easy, and informative.
My 10 year old daughter had a crown fall off her tooth at 5pm the day before Valentines day. It was causing her some pain. I called the office and they told us to head that way. Dr. Sarah Hagee stayed late and spent about an hour with my daughter putting her crown back on. I watched as several techs helped, even though Im sure they were all ready to go home. They kept my daughter in good spirits through the whole process. Dr. Hagee even checked on us the next morning to make sure she was feeling okay for her Valentines Day party at school. We love Fort Wayne Dental Group, we always know were in good hands. Thank you!
Have been with this practice for the past 35 years! My family loves it here! Thank you Dr. Mutton!
Everyone was very welcoming and professional. They worked quickly but didnt appear to be rushing me out the door. Dr. Mutton was very attentive and took time to address things I mentioned in my paperwork, which made me feel like my comfort and how I viewed my teeth was important. Plus, my husband has visited this dental group and has a lot of anxiety around visiting the dentist but he had a wonderful experience. We will definitely continue to visit this practice as long as we live here.
Great with kids! We have been taking our children there since they were toddlers. Our daughter got her braces through them and our other daughter is getting her braces in May. They take the time to explain everything, but I especially love the fact that they normally run on time--I have never had to wait more that ten minutes for our appointment even though it is a very busy office. We love Dr. Wright and the staff!! Linette Godfrey
I love Fort Wayne dental group and their team! I’m happy with every hygienist that I see, they do a great job making the appointment enjoyable. Everyone is very professional and friendly! I look forward to my 6 month cleanings everytime!
My daughter has been going to Dr Wright since she was three. She had some issues with her enamel as a child and had to have quite a bit of dental work. Dont know what i would have done without them! They were and have been amazing through the years. She is now sixteen and I wouldnt take her anywhere else.
Amazing staff and front office receptionists.
LOVE THE DOCTOR!!,THE GIRLS UP FRONT ARE ABSOLUTLY THE BEST! SO NICE TO YOU AND ALWAYS LOOKING OUT FOR YOU.NOW THE WAY THEY SANDBLAST MY TEETH WITH BAKING SODA IS ANOTHER THING! ESPECIALLY WHEN IT HITS MY LIP, I AM NOT A FAN OF THIS TECHNIQUE,WHAT HAPPEN TO THE TOOTHPASTE AND LITTLE SPINNING BRUSH POLISHER???
What a great places. Really professional I will recommend this places to anyone. Really patient and explains everything in detail to make the best choices thnks DOC MUTTON
Horrible dentist office. Our experience was amazing at first. Then it quickly turned sour. The office staff is horrible. When you ask a question and they don’t know the answer they make no effort to try and find the answer.
I am new to Ft. Wayne. So when I needed a dentist my husband suggested the Fort Wayne Dental Group. I have been very happy with this group of people. Everyone is very kind. They are very professional. They know my name when I enter the building. They are very prompt. I no sooner sit down to wait, and I am being taken into the office for my procedure! I would suggest that everyone go there.
Very professional group. Got me in the same day for a filling that came out. Got me taken care of.
These guys are GREAT. Ive been going here my whole life and have never had a problem. One time the hygienist I was supposed to have called in and they couldnt find another to cover for a while, so Dr. Creech did the cleaning himself. Not many dentists would do that.
Went in for some tooth pain. After x-rays, the Response was basically you need wisdom teeth pulled, but we dont do that here. But go across the road where they do So now I have to live with the pain for another week and a half. Hell.... I could have done that myself and saved a hundred bucks.
My wife and I have been patients with Fort Wayne Dental Group since moving to Fort Wayne in 2002. The Dentists and Hygienists are always very professional, respectful and caring. I consider them more my family than my dental provider. They have always been very caring to do a professional procedure with very minimal discomfort. I grew up in the 50s when a Dentist was the one Doctor you feared to visit and sometimes with just cause. I wish I had Drs Creech, Mutton and Wright back then as my dentist, I know I would have been looking forward to my trip to the dentist. Cannot say enough about how Great everyone is at this office. The office staff always greets you and provides great scheduling and admin services.
I have been a patient at this office for over 20 years. As a child I saw Dr. Wright, and as an adult, I see Dr. Creech. As an adult, this office wasnt in my network, so I tried another practice, I was not happy there, so I deal with them being outside of my network. I am always seen within 5 minutes of my appointment time, and I am always out in less than an hour. The atmosphere is laid back. I could not be more pleased.
The worst experience as a parent! Their policy is no parents allowed in exam room. My son had 2 teeth pulled and I could hear him screaming two different times. They would not let me go back to see my son. My son had a tooth pulled prior to this at our family dentist and I was allowed to be with him and he did fine. FWDG needs to realize their policy is not the best for each kid. We will not go back.
My daughter has Down Syndrome and at times she has sensory issues. Dr Wright and his staff are always so comforting and patient with her.
All of my worthiness and concerns was tooking away from me as soon as Ive stepped into Fort Wayne Dentel Group. They are politely servings to patient and very gentle with care.... Also .. They work with benevolence everything on you..They are the best ... Cant wait to see them again.
Always friendly staff, always on time for my appointments, expert care. Wouldnt go anywhere else.
Horrible, charged me $50 to look at my childs mouth. Then failed to call or send a postcard for an appointment made more than 6 months ago. Instead I got a letter requesting that I pay $150 because I didnt know about the appointment. DO NOT GO HERE. Terrible practices, feels like extortion. This was my first missed appointment in the 12 years I have been going to this dentist.
AS a first-time patient I was treated like an honored guest. Thanks to everyone at the office.
Thank you Dr. Creech. Glad I dont have to see you for another 6 months. Not often I can say that. Stay cool!!
Fort Wayne Dental Group has always provided excellent service and care. Even for short-notice events. Dr. Mutton is my DDS and once Dr. Creech attended to me.
I would like to point out my review is on the office staff, not necessarily the doctors or hygienists. A couple weeks ago my children were in for their semi-annual cleaning. I was told everything was being billed by insurance and sent on my way. A couple weeks later I received a bill in the mail with a list of all the services received that day, the amount covered by insurance and my remaining balance of $66. No explanation of the charges. So I called to get a better idea of what I was paying for since this was a routine visit and in my mind should have been covered 100%. The first woman who answered was polite, but said she couldnt tell what the charge was for and would have the insurance specialist call me the next day. She calls me back and says they received a fluoride treatment that insurance only pays for once per year. I said ok, is it your standard practice to perform services that arent covered by insurance without first talking to the patient or guardian to make sure they want it performed? She says, Im going to write the charge off. I said thats fine...I wasnt asking for that, but rather Id like to know if thats your practice to perform non-covered services without asking first? She tells me the doctor and ADA recommend it and they give fluoride twice a year. I said I understand that, but as the person paying for this service-youre telling me Im paying for it regardless. She says fine maam, Ill put a note on the file that theyre only allowed to receive it once per year per your request. I said youre missing the point entirely. Im not saying they shouldnt receive it, Im saying I want to be consulted first. I wouldnt presume to spend anyone elses money for them, they should have a choice. She tells me they dont have the time to consult with EVERY patient on whether they should do the fluoride, that shes marking the file once per year and that was it. I ask to speak with the office manager. She clearly isnt understanding what Im saying and were both frustrated with each other. She tells me shes done talking to me and thats shes hanging up on me. Then does so. I call back in and ask for the office manager, shes not in but will call me later. The office manager calls me back and I explain the situation to her. Im VERY upset by this time. I feel like no one will listen and understand my point of view. Ive been hung up on, treated like what I have to say is insignificant and that I really shouldnt bother to question anything. Just accept whats being told to me or else. The office manager says she apologizes if I feel Ive been treated a certain way. Im not sure what kind of apology that is, but she goes on. I ask her, is it your companies policy to perform services not-covered. She once again gives me the ADA/doctors orders line. I said yes, Im aware of that. I explain I was told my children apparently werent even now allowed to get the service the second time in a year because they wont check first to make sure its ok. She tells me that Im being hostel. I say yes, I am, Im angry. I feel like Im being completely dismissed. She then tells me maam Im trying to deal with you. WOW-youre trying to deal with me? I let her know that the situation continues to stay escalated because she clearly doesnt know how to deal with an unhappy customer. I still feel as though I have a valid question and concern. I asked who her boss was, she said the doctors. I requested a call back from them. Its been 24 hours, Im still waiting. Its very clear to me that the office staff at this business could care less about providing good customer service. While the doctors and hygienist may be polite, I will not give my money to a team of individuals who think its alright to treat someone that way. Shame on you. Youre in a profession where there are professionals all over town doing what you do. You should really think about how youre treating someone, otherwise, you may find yourself without any clients to bully.
$1500 dollars later between a crown that failed, both the temporary crown and permanent crown, and a front tooth that needed bonded because of an old chip, that failed twice. I was there so many times because of their sub par dental work that I didn’t bother even going back to let them know of the latest failures, just decided to move on. Their prep work on the tooth that needed the crown was no good, hence the failure of the crown to bond to it. Found a new dentist with 30 years experience.
I came back to Dr Creech today after being away for quite awhile. The staff right from the very first phone call was awesome!! My Hygenist today (I think her name was Heidi) was so great and calming to me as I have always been so squeamish of dental visits. She assured me it would be easy and she was right! Dr Creech was as friendly as I remebered from my last visit with him and couldnt have made me feel more welcome!! I HIGHLY recommend Ft Wayne Dental Group!! Feels great to be back!!
Very disappointed in the staff, my 4 year old son had to go there for 3 visits, after spending over $1000 he got to pick out a .20 cent bracelet, he also grabbed 3 for all his brothers. His nurse said no you cant have those unless your brothers come in here to have their teeth done. She then took them from him. So as we left in tears, I just hope it was worht the pennies that you could have given him. I also am a medical professional and ALWAYS give stickers for siblings. Its the little things that keep people coming back. No worries my children can go elsewhere. Will also let our family Dentist know the treatment he received so they can stop referring to your facility. Dont work with children if you dont respect them.
Terrible! Kids missed apt. In 2017 and one in 2019 bc their text/phone service didnt send a reminder. Dentist will no longer see my kids.
