Knowledgeable and friendly staff. Have product on display to have a better understanding of your options. No high pressure sales tactics. After dealing with less than desirable staff at big box stores, we will go to Classic Stereo from now on!!! Thank you for your service Classic Stereo!
1st time taking my vintage hi-fi gear to Classis Stereo for repair. My power amp electronics were cleaned up and repaired to like new performance. Even the veneer panels were polished up to like new condition. Also the repair price was more than fair. My future hi-fi gear repairs will be with Classic Stereo, thank you!
Friendly and helpful about new television technology and helped me get the correct audio cable I needed.
I recently took an amp over to be serviced and never could get them to call me back with what was wrong with the amp. After over 2 months I finally went in and asked for the amp back. They said they had called me multiple times, not true. They never did explain what was wrong with the amp or give me my 50 dollar deposit back.
Friendly service, local company!
Then and now. I used to do business with Classic back in the late 90s. I remember they had a car audio section like no other. They had amps showcased in lighting embedded in the floor. The home theatre section was very modern and had all the latest and greatest. What has happened over the last 20 years with online retail and big box stores has clearly taken its toll. The home theatre section consists of a single room with half working equipment. The sales associate clearly had years of experience but still had some of his facts wrong. He was a bit arrogant and seemed like I was just a bother not a customer. I wont be going back again. What a shame.
Classic has repaired several pieces of my vintage equipment this year they come back like new great service department always good to stop in and say hi to Greg he is very knowledgeable of the old and new equipment
I installed my first home theater and surround system.. Prices are in line with most online retailers and you will get personal 1 on 1 help with getting the right stuff.. They made a trip out to the house just to make sure.. (most valuable).I worked with AL and spent around $1600.. I am a happy camper..Randy O
Absolutely the best customer service. Just had them install 3 TVs and a Bose soundbar and the process was seamless and make every effort to please the customer. Thanks guys!
Amazing Customer Service! Went in with a problem with a record player I bought elsewhere. Everyone there was super helpful and friendly. I will definitely be back and highly recommend them.
Classic Stereo customer since @ 1980.......Paul was always pleasant to be a customer/salesman with. I stopped into the store in March 2018 to see/hear/learn about their modern selection of speakers. I will NEVER RETURN. I received a friendly greeting entering and exiting the store. The balance of my encounter was an unpleasant affair with a SMUG, ARROGANT, AGGRESSIVE ass of a bald headed salesman.
They know their stuff, old and new .
I have called twice for a person to come to my house and give me an estimate on some work Ive needed done. No one calls me back. Apparently they are doing such great business that they dont need my money. Rude and unresponsive.
Greg that works there is awesome...very knowledgeable of the products and makes buying some new audio equipment a pleasurable experience. Go there first before anywhere else and you wont be sorry.
Great brands, great knowledge. To those that want them to fix everything, call the factory first.....To those that kniw their gear, you can not beat their selection and reputation. These guys have seen it all.
Did a fantastic job putting in our theater room. Very happy with the customer service and flexibility to provide great equipment and features while still staying within a budget.
Their service guy couldnt figure out how to fix a speaker I spent thousands on and bought from them as an authorized dealer. After several hours of research on my own via AVS forum I ended up ordering the replacement parts and fixing it myself. Horrible experience.
Purchased $1500.00 worth of equipment and have recieved the worst customer service ever. Stereo keeps over heating and shuts off. They claim there is nothing wrong. Why do they have such an attitude with the customers. Funny, when we were putting out the money they were fine, but service and the management sucks. Would not refer them to anyone. Our next step is to take in our speakers and have them checked......but their going to say there is nothing wrong. So much for the 2 year service warranty, Lets see if they help me or not!!!They also never even contacted me when the service was completed. I had to keep calling them and they act like Im making up the story that the stereo is shutting down. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!! (and the stero is still shutting off.)
I went in there to look at possibly buying a turntable with my wife, and mind you Ive been buying stereo equipment since 1972, I briefly spoke with this gentleman that work behind the counter as you walked in the door he was a bald-headed fella, the man was downright rude. Ill never go back, so I went to eBay
Was not what I ordered or asked for..Lots of money...poor product, long wait
Terrible experience!I called to ask their hours on the phone, along with a few other questions, the guy seemed a little rude, but no big deal. I get there at around 5:15, they close at 6:00. No other customers are in the store. I am pretty excited because I made the hour and 15 minute drive to Ft. Wayne to check out some higher end home theater stuff.I explained to the guy behind the counter (tall with a shaved head - didnt catch his name) that I have high end Best Buy speakers that I have had for a while, a subwoofer that just died, and an older high end Denon receiver that I just ordered. I tell him that I was hoping to listen to some different setups, learn a little, and find out where my money would best be spent on my home theater system. After he announces that my speakers are crap, he then asks about my receiver I just ordered and tells me that that is also going to sound terrible as well. I ask him why, and he gets all defensive, and condescending like I have insulted him. Okay..... I said. To which this guy replies. I dont know what to tell you. You bought the wrong receiver somewhere else, and I dont know what to tell you man! While throwing his hands in the air. This is the second worst customer service experience I have ever had in my entire life. I walked in looking to buy some floor speakers, maybe a subwoofer, and it must have been to much to handle for this expert salesman. How dare I shop around, walk in his store, and ask questions about audio equipment! Unbelievable! Literally record breaking! It amazes me that places like this can keep their doors open. Apparently they must have a lot of customers that already know it all, and only purchase there, because if you dont expect to get treated awful!I told him I wouldnt waste anymore of his time and left. (Total time in store: 3 minutes). I reviewed the quality as poor -fair, I would not consider this accurate, as I never got to actually look at or use anything.
Come here with stereo questions if you are a simple minded fellow such as myself. Your questions will be passively and smugly answered as if you have a learning disability.
