OMG, 3 pallets total 286 cases and ON TIME for delivery=8 hours of my day. Why? I was empty in 2.5 mins and took 7 hours for paperwork? And places wonder why they’re paying out millions of dollars in detention and layover. GET IT TOGETHER PEOPLE….

They do and always have allowed us to unload our own trucks, all through COVID. The receivers are great to work with as are the guards and the office ladies. I’m always in and out in under 2 hours unloading my own trailer.

One of the worst places to unload! Try to avoid it as much as you can. After 5 hours the truck is only half unloaded.

It should never take 4hours to unload 2 pallets. The ladies in the unloading office are nice but otherwise this place is just way too damn slow.

People are nice but the unloading is slow.

They need a better check in and out service, plan on doing alot of walking here. Service was slow, because everyone hates their job here and dont care about you

Please read. It will help. I never write reviews but I am dang near getting another load worth of detention pay. I usually hear horror stories about shippers but this one is actually true. I arrived at 0648 for a 0730 appointment and did not get a dock door until 1050am. I add to cancel my next load the loaded at 1300. So I lost wages delivering this load. I am now still sitting in the dock with the red light blinking and no one has been my truck for over an hour. I only had about 8-10 double stacked pallets that filled my trailer a little over halfway. If you see this before you book your next load. PLEASE BOOK IT FOR THE NEXT DAY. This way you get the detention pay and you dont lose any wages.

This place is an absolute nightmare! I’ll do my best to try to help you through this because this place is by far one of the worst ones. There is no onsite parking and don’t come early, they won’t take you early that’s for sure. I seen drivers come check in and one by one get sent to the staging area where they sat for hours not even being assigned to a dock so don’t even have the slightest hope that you’ll get in and out. When you pull in you have to check in at an intercom and then they will send you to a staging area. Go back to that intercom every 10-15 minutes or else you will be standing in the staging area the entire day! They will forget about you.. Once you get a door I suggest you go back there and stand and watch what’s going on because there is ZERO hustle at all back there. They will back you into a door with freight from previous trucks that has not even been attempted to be moved for hours let alone when they will even touch your freight. You NEED to be extremely proactive here, you need to continually go back and forth asking about how much longer and if you have freight blocking you ask for a different door. THIS WILL TAKE ALL DAY TO GET UNLOADED. Inquire about your load with anyone you see working there, you literally have to beg so they take their stuff off your truck. I had a prepaid lumper but from what I hear the lumper fee is expensive. Sorry there is just no getting around this, they are extremely slow, they don’t care at all and refuse to move whatsoever. They don’t mind keeping you here the entire day but mark my words once you are done they will push you off the property as if you were trespassing. This is a place of low IQ underachievers, there’s no amount of training that can repair the shameless workers here.

No overnight parking. U can check in after 6:00 am. Appointment was 7:00 am I checked in 6:30 am after a long wait I got dock door at about 8:00 am. Got empty 12:20 pm now waiting for papers seams 15 more mins. Will not come again. One star staff are very nice.

Where do we start and how do we end if I can give them 0 stars I will. Appointment set for 10/15/20 on time for delivery waited for 7 hr to give me a door then they change there mind to been busy so I have to leave there warehouse and schedule another appointment. The next appointment they have available is 10/22/20. I will definitely not gonna play by there game so I left and took the load back to Chicago. The worst place to get offloaded at. Missing appt by 30 min will not offload, they say they do not offload after 2pm. Rescheduling takes a week, no parking on site, not dropping trailer, rescheduling only by email with customer, and if you make it on time still takes over 4h to offload + lumper. Not that its news for us that Super Value is strict but this place in particular is the worst.

This place deserves its 1 star rating for good. Dont come here, unless you want to take your 10 hours break in the dock.

How long does it take to unload 5 skids ? according to supervalu in ft wayen anywhere form 5-8 hrs. driver had a 8:30am delivery on monday . its almost 1pm and not empty yet.

I cant complain. They got me in a door quickly. Friendly people in my experience so far. Over 2 hours to unload. Plenty of room for big trucks to maneuver. Dock 71 in back is pretty narrow.....if you get it youll understand what I mean. Pilot close by. No overnight parking is the only strike against them.

Fast receiving check in plumper service had reasonable rates. No guard when I check in receiving desk said that happens a lot.

Gave 2 stars because the receivers and unloaders are usually friendly. If they didnt sort and segregate all the freight you bring, it wouldnt take that long. But since they usually have to break down each pallet as they take it off the trailer, it creates extremely long unload times.Also, how is it even legal to charge to unload their own freight? You wouldnt charge your postman to deliver your letters and leave it in your mailbox, so how is this any different? Ridiculous.

Well my experience was great. Arrived at 2130 for 2200 delivery appt. 951 cases on 13 plts. Put straight into door (refrigerated) lumper fee $184 empty and exiting yard at 2330. Not bad at all.

First time here. Lumped my own product. Receptionist was friendly. Checkers attitude was colder than the cooler. I dont care if your a union shop. You dont have to be unfriendly or an asshat. You dont know what my days been like.

Went here this morning for a 06:00 partial delivery. I arrived at 05:45 and upon contacting the receiving clerk via the intercom at the gate he became angry, disrespectful and rude because I did not have a PO # beginning with 118. I told him I would get the number which took 30 seconds for the broker to provide. Gave him the number and he proceeded to anger and get rude telling me it was not the right number when it was. He finally allows me to access the property and once I reached the receiving window he would not even look my way (coward). I did ask him at the gate why he was complicating things. As I stood in front of the receiving window I watched him angering towards the other drivers at the gate trying to gain access via the intercom. I swore this guy was going to go postal any minute. On a better note the younger clerk that arrived around 06:00 was very professional and so was the unloaders.Supervalue some of us are true professionals out here and would appreciate to be treated with some level of professionalism and respect. We are nobodys punching bag. Im sure you appreciate us following your rules and respecting your employees too. Fix this sore, he does not deserve to represent you.

The last time I delivered here was 1992. I vowed never to return, the broker hit the right money so here I am, and itll take even more for me to come here again. Still slow as molasses, of course theyre using capstone as the lumpers, one of the slowest lumper service in the nation.Be advised when you book a load to include enough detention pay to make it worth your while. At least $100 an hour. Be advised they levy stiff penalties for various things so include stiff penalties for your time and equipment.

Capstone is the lumper service. We all know that have the highest lumper rates in the industry and are very slow

For a Super Valu, I cant complain about the guys I interacted with in frozen receiving, pretty laid back. Capstone however....charges too much and slow as hell. Super Valu will eventually have to get up to speed with their competition. Costco, Walmart.....no fee, In and out under 4 hours no matter what unless you haul produce in which case it sucks to be you. Super Valu, Kroger ....theyll have to close their doors eventually because in a world of technology, there is no where in the market for these dinosaurs! LMFAO!

3+ hours for Lumber to unload 25 pallets of product. One of the slowest places Ive been to in a long while. I hope my company never sends me here again.

I parked at the Pilot 1 mile up the road the day before so I only had to off duty drive up the street. The Pilot only had one spot left when I made at 7:00p. Next time Ill park in this receiver drive way if Pilot is full. I had a pleasant experience here. Got here 10 min before my 8:00a appt on 5/5/16. I was told to wait in #205 until someone called. Got a call to bring up paperwork. Guy checked everything against his computer. Was given a door around back #71. More than enough room to maneuver. Took paper work inside. Didnt have wire cutter to cut cable seal. One of the guys came out and cut it for me. Lumper was $276. KLLM pays that😜. Unloaded in 4hrs. Got 1hr detention. Had a fresh 11hr clock to start my day. Had ice cream left in truck as damaged. I didnt see nothing wrong with it. Kept 4 for me. Gave 3 to another driver on the lot. Gave the others to the guys at the blue beacon when I was getting my trailer washed out for next load.

If you plan on showing up more than 30min late on an unload, dont show up at all. Get a rescheduled appointment because you wont be taken or worked-in. If youre late on a Friday you wont be taken until Monday or Tuesday.
