I am extremely satisfied with Steamatic. I first used them to clean my carpets. They always do a fantastic job. I realized that they also clean air ducts, so I called and had them come to my house and clean mine. WOW! What a difference! My home smelled better and stayed cleaner longer, once my ducts were clean. I was shocked to see how much stuff was cleaned out of my duct system. It was a fire hazard for sure. They found construction debris birds nests and even dead birds. I was so impressed with the service and performance of Steamatic, that I used their general contracting service to update my lake home. Gave a lot of GREAT Information and things people should look for when it comes to water, mold and even carpet cleaning. I have never heard a bad comment regarding this company.Personally, we dont have carpet in the home nor have we had any water damage.

Steamatic came through for us above and beyond expectations. Our family was driving south for vacation while Fort Wayne was having massive amounts of rain fall. Our basement flooded and we werent returning for 10 days. Steamatic swept in, removed all of the water and dried the basement up. They used a lock box system to enter our home. This allowed us to feel our house was secure and we were taken care of. Steamatic took care of of every small detail of repair and restoration.Again they came through and exceeded all exceptions of customer care. NEVER ... AND I MEAN NEVER ... DO BUSINESS WITH STEAMATIC!!!! They were suppose to come yesterday to clean my carpets at 11am but they could be as late as 2:30. I leave for work at 2:30! At 2pm I call them. They didnt even have me on their books!!! I rescheduled for today at 11:30. Was told someone would call me at 11am. At 11:45 I called them. Was told it could be as late as 1pm before they arrive! I was never told this! Asked to speak to a manager, but surprise, none was available!! Worst customer service ever!!! I cancelled my appointment!! Manager did call back. All he could say was Sorry. Never made an attempt to compensate for the bad service. If he would have offered to clean a chair for free when our carpets were cleaned, that would have made a difference, but no he didnt!! BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE!! GO WITH ANOTHER COMPANY!! Steamatic doesnt care about your business!!

Had carpet cleaned in the walk area. Mike showed up on time and was very nice BUT my carpets were soaking wet. Used my old carpet clean to draw alot of the water out. For that reason would not have them again

I wish I didnt have to give any stars absolutely terrible. They abandoned the job over the holidays. They kept saying there was a miscommunication on their part. Someone will be out next week. 2 months later still never finish the job and now 2 years later theyre sending me a threatening letter about collections after I paid 90% of Bill in good faith. Should have listen to my attorney in the first place and never paid them I will fight this to the end.

Worst Vendor I have hired for repairs. They should stick to their core competencies of cleaning carpet and floors. They were contacted in November to repair a vent pipe and water damage. After doing the estimate and accepting the job they did not contact me for over 2 weeks (December now). It was not until it was ready to rain again I contacted them and they could not get anyone out until a day after the rain. I should have fired them then. They did not reach back out to me for repairs to the interior until mid January. During those repairs they left us waiting for someone to show up on TWO different occasions. We received an insincere apology both times by project manager Nate. They also had to come out and make additional repairs because they did not do it right the first time. They sent a questionnaire with the invoice that I filled out asking for a manager to call...guess what no call. The only thing I can say is they did not increase the price on the invoice even though they used our paint and screwed us around. MORAL OF THE STORY FIND SOMEONE ELSE FOR RESTORATION REPAIRS.Update: Owner Bruce contacted me 3/4/15 after reading review and was very apologetic. In the end the repairs are done correctly and he did make it right.

I came home on a Friday evening at 5:00pm to find that my back up sub-pump alarm was going off. When I walked into the basement, I stepped into about 2in of water. Like anyone I began to panic. I called Stematic of Fort Wayne, and the lady asked me to give her 20 min and she would have someone get in contact with me. They did! AND.....Within 40 min MAX, they showed up at my door to begin removing the water. I have a basement that could have been completely destroyed, but I honestly thank Stematic for saving me SOOO much money. I also have to say, they were polite, friendly, explained to me what they were doing, and even took a rug I purchased from Turkey to have cleaned! Needless to say, they eased my mind, cleared the water, cleared my flooring that was ruined, set up dryers, and called me almost EVERY DAY to check in while it was drying!I cant thank them enough, and I would highly recommend giving them a call when you have something go awry! I was thinking of doing my own repairs, but because of how well they treated me, I am considering getting a quote from them to do the restoration and fixing up as well!

After having some water damage that really impacted our basement, the staff from Steamatic came in and put us at ease. The restoration work they did had our basement looking better than it did before.

In November we had a flood in our basement while we were in Las Vegas. We came home to a huge mess, and an insurance company who was being difficult to work with. A friend suggested I reach out to Steamatic. I could not get an adjuster out, but Steamatic showed up just an hour or so after I called (and most of that was traveling to get to me!!) Throughout the whole process of cleaning up my basement and doing the repairs, Nate stayed in close contact with us. The experience of a flooded basement is no fun at all, but Steamatic made the experience much less rough than it could have been. From each person who came into our home, we found respect and a desire to do the work to the best of their abilities. We are extremely happy with the work which was done for us, and the desire to work with us in each step. I will recommend Steamatic to anyone!!
