Leaving work, I noticed one of my tires was almost flat. I drove right over to McMahon’s and even though it was 30 min before close and they were working on other vehicles, they very pleasantly assured me they’d get to it. 45 min later I was on my way with a simple fix. I find the people at McMahon’s to be very helpful, friendly and professional. And costs are reasonable. I wouldn’t go anywhere else!

McMahon’s service was great. My car was having trouble starting, I was told by another auto service company that the issue was the starter and the battery. I took my car to McMahon’s to see if their prices were cheaper. The mechanic found the actual root of the issue (corroded ground cable) and replaced it for me. I appreciated the mechanics integrity in not trying to sell me something I don’t need to make more money. This repair was a much better price and my car is working again.

Fastest tire change I have experienced. In and out in about 30 minutes, good service and reasonable price. Will go back.

McMahon does a hell of a realignment. My Jeep is driving better than a Rolls-Royce now. However, when I asked for a courtesy inspection. They told me, it was 60 some bucks. That doesnt seem very courteous at all. I can check my own fluids and tap on the shocks with a wrench for free. Minus one star for that McMahon. Minus one star. Quick and efficient though and helpful employees. 😁

Our car broke down outside of Forr Wayne on our way to Detroit from St Louis for a funeral. Our Nissan got towed to them after midnight and they had it fixed and us back in the road by 2 pm allowing us to attend the entire service! They were fast, fair friendly and super helpful! Thanks so much, we are very very grateful. After this experience I highly recommend them!

Worst place ever. Took my car there 3 times spend 500 dollars only to have problem not found. Was told they needed to run a 12 hour test. I was done. Took my car to another shop problem was found and fix with no test. Spend half of what best one charged to fix at this shop.I told both places the same thing and the second shop found it without I test.I think I deserve some of my money back.This was for Illinois road location.

Excellent time and service as usual. Only problem I have is that he was pushing my wife to replace tires that were bought last year and have plenty of tread on them. Even after she told him we were selling the car.

Great service in an emergency! Our car broke down in the middle of the night as we were driving from St Louus to Detroit and the towing company recommended McMahons. Everyone was absolutely great!! Called first thing and they were sympathetic and quick to get us back on the road. Cannot say enough about how fantastic they were.

I was very satisfied with the end result and the mechanic that worked on my truck!! I do have a “but”. The mechanic that worked on my truck was awesome!! I got a play by play to what was expected and going to happen next. He called me before every time that he was going to do something different than what we talked about. Personal and professional!! That guy was awesome!! I would hire him anytime to be my personal mechanic!! Here’s the “but” I’m very unhappy with the charge for a rear wheel break job. $800.30 is way too much!!!!!! I have talked to many shops that would have done the same work for way less. Had I had known that, I would have taken my vehicle elsewhere! 1,600 for a full break job is over the top. I’m sad to say that you just lost my business to the over charge and will also buy tires elsewhere as well. My family of four have and was buying tires from “that place” and will not be returning again!! I just needed to get my truck up and going and now I have this huge debt to myself and money needed to go towards other things. I’m really disappointed with the price that I was given but was desperate and needed my truck to get to work. Good bye!! I hope that mechanic makes good money and if he doesn’t he’s getting ripped off as well!! And I hope he goes somewhere else that he deserves!! Again good bye MM. I’m out!!

Was able to call in morning for getting a tire and was able to bring in vehicle that afternoon to have tire put on. great one day service. no drop off and return for pick up. keep up great service.

The quality of work they do is exceptional. I didnt feel forced to go with tires I couldnt afford. They found tires for me within my budget. All those working were wearing masks and following CDC guidelines. Having the tow price and tire price on one bill was great. Only had to deal with one bill. It was very clean at their facility. Great customer service. Good job!

I had to leave my car in their lot after hours with a flat. I left the key for them to fix it the next day. When I called first thing in the morning, they informed me that the car was already in the shop and being worked on, and would be ready before 8:30am. Their service was quick without any hiccups. The interactions I had with the employees was great! I would definitely recommend to anyone. We will use them in the future!

This was my first time going to McMahon’s Best One in New Haven. I’ve been been going to a different business for years, but I always feel a need to let local establishments earn my business. The customer service and the work by service crew were top notch. I love my tires. I also received a rebate and a discount on my alignment which was an unexpected savings of almost $200. I showed up early for my appointment to get some work done in the lobby, so I was expecting to be there all morning. Instead, they bumped up my appointment and got me in and out in a timely fashion. I’m very pleased with the whole experience, and I will definitely be back. If you live even remotely close to New Haven, you should definitely check them out for your tire and automotive needs.

I’ve been going to McMahon’s Tire for 35 years, they are trustworthy and professional. I stopped in yesterday with a vibration in the steering wheel. In less that 20 minutes my car was finished. They balanced and rotated the tire. Problem solved.

I am so happy with the service I received on my vehicle, yesterday. I went in with low tire pressure, and found out there was a screw in one if my tires. They were able to patch it very quickly and send me on my way. I would highly recommend them!

This is the third or fourth time going to McMahon’s. It has been nothing short of superb, whether it’s for something as simple as an oil change or several major fixes. I’ve been very happy since switching over to McMahons for all of my car service needs about two years ago. When I went in yesterday I asked them to check my wiper blades thinking that maybe they needed to be replaced and they told me that nope they were good. I don’t feel like they try and oversell me and their prices are reasonable for the service. Everyone is very nice as well!

I took my daughters car in for 2 new tires. Very attentive as soon as I walked in the door. Service rep was friendly and courteous. 2 tire replacements and oil change were completed in just over 30 minutes. Think Ill take my own vehicle in for future service.

After taking my car two other places to find out why the car had a “shimmy,” (despite having new the rotors, brakes checked & tires rotated & balanced), McMahon found the wheels on the left side of the car were significantly out of alignment. The shimmy is gone.

McMahon’s BestOne did an excellent job on my vehicle. They were able to get me in and complete all repairs with short notice and honored the price quoted.

I called McMahon yesterday looking for a used tire for my car, as my previous tire had a flat. I had called another place once on Friday and once again on Monday with the man telling me he would call my number back in 10 minutes after he checked to see if they had the tire I was looking for. Both days, I never received a call. When I called McMahon, Colin told me he would check and call back as soon as he found out if they had the tire I needed. He called back soon after and was able to schedule for me to come in later that day. It only cost $65 for them to give me the new tire, put it on my car, and discard my old tire AND it only took them about 25 minutes. I am very pleased with their customer service, their costs, and the time it took once I got there, especially after my bad experience with the other company.Thank you so much to Colin and the other workers at McMahon!

I called just before noon to schedule an oil change for my truck and they were able to get me in the same day. During the oil change they brought my engine filter out to the lobby to show me how dirty it was and ask if I’d like them to change it. They were very thorough, polite, and professional!

Tanner was very helpful! He was able to make me a last minute appointment that worked with my schedule. They performed all the services I needed and did not try to oversell things I did not need. McMahon is my new go to place for all my car repair needs.

Worst place ever. I went to check my tires for my trip and they change my tire and that tire got flat as soon as i left and i have a caution light for tire pressure system too . Now i have a problem now . Manager rude and the people there in the garage ignore me and close the garage door in my face because he didnt want to help me . Dont come here believe me

Have been a customer here for a few years and do all of my tire and oil change work with them. Had a flat and they were able to get me in the same day, did the patch work for free (because I am signed up for their lifetime warranty program) and had me out within 30 minutes!

Service was terrific, I was met at my car in the parking lot, whete we discussed my issue. Very timely service. I like the fact that you can make an appointment. Most places are first come first serve. That doesn’t work well with my busy schedule.

I took my SUV in to have the breaks looked at. Travis and everyone else at the store was so great! Travis called back in a reasonable time frame to give me an update on what needed done. Travis then went over a couple different options as far as how he could go about getting things done.... all at once or front today then change the back in a couple weeks! I have always had great service here.

I brought my vehicle in to be aligned and leved. The alignment was done correctly but my truck now sits 2 lower in the front and has 1.5 difference from side to side. I called in to the shop asking for this to be corrected and I was told that, that was not part of the alignment.I left instructions on the drop off paper what needed to be done and I was either ignored or the technician doing the work didnt feel like doing it.I will not be returning for any future services.

I was able to get a quick appointment for a oil change and free tire rotation (free tire rotation because I had purchased tires from them). That is the best thing I can say about the service. I received the customer copy of their service inspection and it said all 4 tires had 35 psi in them. That is not the case. Before and after the service my tires read 2 at 33, 1 at 31, and 1 at 38. The tire with 38 psi had been repaired earlier in the week from a different tire shop as there was a nail in it. With that said there was still a chalk mark on the repaired tire and after the rotation the tire was still in the same spot as it was when I brought it in. So highly doubt that the tires got rotated. On top of that, I now need 2 new front tires because excessive wear on the wear bars. So would that be after or before the tires were rotated? So it looks like their free tire rotation didn’t happen and their service inspection on the tire psi is not what is stated on their inspection report.

They had a replacement tire and worked with the company in Indianapolis that she had purchased the tire from for replace coverage thru road hazard insurance she had purchased. Kind help! We needed new tires for our motor home after having 2 tires lose tread. McMahons had me pull our motor home in almost immediately & didnt overcharge our family to install new tires. They saved us from spending more money advising us that the front tires didnt need to be replaced as I originally thought. Everyone we talked to were friendly and made us feel well cared for.We were able to make it back to Rockford, IL in plenty of time to get a good nights sleep. I think you will have the same positive experience as we did the next time you visit McMahons.

Travis is great! Walked us through everything with the car. They ran into a problem with our Jetta (ignition switch) and Travis and his techs did their research and made us feel confident they would find a solution. Overall our Jetta is back on the road and we couldnt be happier. Ill never take a vehicle to the dealership again when I know Travis and the mcmahon team are right down the street.

I spoke many times with Colin and Travis and they were both always super nice. Travis took a lot of time out to explain everything that was wrong with my car in a way that I understood. I am new to the area, but will always go back and refer anyone in the area who mentions needing car work to them.

Had unexpected car trouble, took my car here and was pleased with how great they communicated with me about all the problems with my car. Gave me options on what i wanted to do. Told me what needed to be done to get the car on the road a listed things that were going to need fixed soon. A little pricey but i am happy with the customer service and the work theyve done.

Had an extremely slow leak in a rear tire thatd go weeks on end without losing air then itd go to leaking maybe all of a pound of air every couple of days. It was just a minor nuance till the winter weather cold came along & it became an uncomfortable hassle to deal with even if it was only occasional. Ive done dealt with enough air leaking tires over the years to know that this slow of a leak was going to be problematic to find where the air was escaping. Ive only lived in the Fort Wayne for a few years so my experience with local repair shops has been limited & of the 3 shops ive gone to in the past... i was grievously unhappy with so i made an exploratory stop at McMahons Best 1. They were prepared and offered to take a look at it right then & there, but my schedule for that afternoon was harried enough so we agreed upon a time for the next day. They even sent a short text a little later confirming the appointment, (which is a good thing cause there are some days when id of completely forgotten to enter it in my itinerary and...Next day the tire, the car & i arrived a few minutes early for the appointment. Within seconds the car was on its way to the garage area and long before id even had a chance to become bored with my surroundings I was being called back up to counter. Being that quick my immediate thoughts was, Ut Oh, theres an issue with the sensor or some other expensive defective piece of equipmentBut, nope that wasnt it all the Tech had found the teeny tiny air leak and had repaired to boot. $25 later im back on the road & hadnt lost much more than 15 mere minutes out of my day. Tire is still holding air & all is right with my world. So i plan on returning there with my real Baby, (1975 F350 Super Camper Special), to see if their expedience was a fluke of nature or their business model.The entire place from what i could see was surgically even more clean than a good many Dealerships that ive veen to over the years.

I was very impressed with this placed, they took me in quickly. They was straight with me with my car as I trust them more then I do at Firestone. Firestone who they lied to me about my wheel bearings said I needed that done now which made no sense to me and the person I talk to told me I should look getting into a new car which I wasnt impressed with that. Then when they closed down with out telling people I took that as a sign to go some where else. Im glad I did as everyone I talked to at McMahons best one was awesome, nice, polite, and very helpful and took me in right away which I appreciated that. This place is where Im going to get my car fixed from now. And they seem to know what my issue was right away then the people at firestone took them about two hours or so to figure it out. so I was impressed with McMahons all the way around. I would recommend this place to people.

McMahon’ s was really great when I had my daughter’s car towed in the middle of the night to them. I called them first thing in the morning and ask them if it was possible to have it done before Monday because my daughter goes back to work and they looked at it by that afternoon and had it done by the next day until I asked them to fix something else and they had done by the next day. So yes I would send friends and family to them.

As women, we know not ever Auto shop treats us the same. Some try to take advantage and belittle our requests. It’s not like that at McMahon’s and that’s why I keep coming back. They are reasonably priced and make sure to only do what you need. The office staff is great at communicating if there are any changes to your repair and get approval before you incur an additional cost. Only thing that would make it better is if they had better coffee. ;) but that’s not what I’m going there for anyway, so I can’t hold it against them. Great place! Definitely would recommended.
