This business charges for their “accreditation” they are a for profit organization. When I did not respond to a bad review (because it was more complex than an angry customer) as it was a legal issue and I was advised not to. My lawyer asked me to send a letter requesting the customer removed the blatant lies that were posted. I received an email from the BBB director. This email scolded me for not responding to the review. Claiming my tactic of forcing someone to remove their review was unprofessional. The put my business accreditation “under review”. Also demanding to review contracts I have with clients. I have paid them close to $1,000 for their “accreditation”. My response was to stop paying for this advertising membership. For a company claiming to help resolve matters and being a neutral party, it was surprising the kind of email I received. What is not surprising is their fading presence. Maybe they should stop biting the hand that feeds them…. As I seen in other reviews!

Received an offer for a very large amount of money. It seems too good to be true, so I decided to go to the Better Business Bureau to find out if it was legitimate. The young lady listen to my story and then consulted with a couple of other employees. She returned to tell me it was a scam. I thought it was too good to be true and it turned out that way. Thank goodness for the Better Business Bureau to affirm or not confirm a business transaction that could have turned out very costly!. Thank You Better Business Bureau staff and management for your knowledge and experience to help the general public with situations the ordinary consumer is unfamiliar with. Extra kudos for Better Business Bureau and staff!!!
Filed a review of a business and the Better Business Bureau decided I could not file a review because I was not on the phone call when the offending business disrespected my partner(also my wife) and then threatened to file a false BBB report on our business when she said she was going to file a BBB complaint. I thought the BBB was there to protect consumers but apparently they are just there to make money and the only people that pay them money are businesses in order to be accredited.Its a shame that the BBB is just a scam!
Amazing Place. Helpful and Insightful. I was shocked to learn of all the great things they do for local businesses. If you own a business and you dont rip off or ignore your customers, you should try to get accredited. Before I get anything done on my house, buy a car, see a mechanic or anything else, I always come here.

Just look at all the negative reviews! This location can say nothing to refute all of their problems. The Better Business Bureau of Northern Indiana has no integrity. They exist to buddy up with local businesses who pay them to keep their rating high while ignoring complaints from consumers. I disclosed a complaint on a local Fort Wayne scam with concrete evidence and details. The BBB chose to hide my complaint from the public website and refused to give a reason. I wonder how many other complaints against businesses are hidden from the public and not factored into a companys rating.
Great group of people. They do a lot more than just take complaints. A great way to learn about some of the companies your choosing to do business with.
Super fast response from the Better Business Bureau, fast response from the business of which the complaint was against, and the complaint issue was resolved in a positive manner in about three days time. Wow! From the beginning I thought, oh no, 30 days to get this all done. Nope, everything was quick in the Christmas holiday season. Thanks again, BBB in Northern Indiana.
After opening a dispute against an online store, the Northern Indiana chapter of the BBB was able to contact them, starting the process for me to receive a complete refund of my money. I had been emailing and calling for about 2 months prior to contacting the BBB to no avail.I have to believe it was the intervention by the BBB that caused the logjam to break. It took only about 1 week after contacting them until the refund was in my account.Many thanks to the NIBBB for their assistance in this regard!
This BBB division did absolutely nothing for my complaint as they closed it and said that the business sent responses and that even though a resolution was not reached, they made an effort to listen and respond. My complaint was closed after a few back and forth messages to the store. I could not go any further with the complaint in order to get a refund or documentation as I requested from them. It was a complete was of my time in order to try and hold the store accountable, but guess what, that store still has an A+ rating with the BBB even though their are numerous 1 star ratings on google for the store. In my mind, no business should an A+ rating as everyone has room for improvement, but things seem to becoming business first instead of customer first as it should be.

My wife and I moved to Canelflats apartment off Jefferson St.And we been through hell with them our apartment never got cleaned and I went and filed a complaint on Parnell St. and there determine that I had no case and I’m disappointed with Fort Wayne and being disabled and treated like scum. Pictures don’t lie!! Google Canelflats in Fort Wayne and look at the pictures on Reviews and see for yourself and see how corrupted they are! This was complaint I filed with Parnell housing !!
We recently had 33 Carpenters replace our roof . Our project manager was great and answered all our questions and was very personable. I would highly recommend them.
I used BBB twice last year. In both cases I got very good satisfaction with the resolution of the problems. The BBB is very respected by most companies. As a result, companies take negative feedback from customers very seriously when it is reported to the BBB. I suspect had I not used the BBB, my concerns and dissatisfaction in both cases would have been ignored by the companies I ended up reporting.
We had a problem with a business that we were getting nowhere resolving. Filing a formal complaint with the BBB seemed to be the only solution. Our complaint was handled promptly, efficiently, & courteously. As a result, we are in touch with a person at said business who we can contact with any future problems we may have with that company.

They dont verify fake reviews and/or discredit reviews that have nothing to do with your business offerings. Worse than Yelp! This racquet is a duplicated old school service that rarely anyone ever uses in my 5 year history. Waste of money.
Whats the point of the BBB if they do nothing? I submitted a complaint about a local business who overcharged me and are still overcharging customers based on their reviews. I had receipts and proof, so the BBB opened a case. They supposedly attempted to resolve it with the company but nothing ever came of it. 4 weeks later, the company is still false advertising to customers and the BBB closed the case giving them an A+ rating?
This is a terrible organization. They try to bully local bussiness by catering to whiny customers that feel entitled to free stuff just because they complain. ( get over it the world owes you nothing)
The realtor I complained about was rude, arrogant & unwilling to honor his written agreement. Within days of being contacted by the BBB I received full payment from him.
Was hit with a slew of predatory overdraft fees. Within days of filing a complaint with BBB, all fees were reversed.
