Had some work done by Rich’s Auto recently the prices were fair and affordable. The communication and the service was great. I also got in and looked at very quickly. I also used there recommended towing company with no issues and then just added the tow charge onto my bill, which was great because I didn’t have to leave work to pay the tow guy. They also gave me some insight in some things I might want to get looked at in the future on the vehicle which was really appreciated. Above all I felt taken care of, thanks again.

I have been to Rich’s to service both our vehicles. I had my oil changed in my 03 truck, and was very impressed; so when our Acura was ready for an oil change, I took it to them. BIG MISTAKE!! First of all (and this should have been my hint), it took an hour extra because they were having a hard time resetting the computer. Secondly, AFTER balancing the wheels, he asked me why I had asked to get them balanced, saying it was rare that wheels actually need to be balanced... but they did it and charged for it anyway. The total charge was $240; I have never paid that much for that amount of work. Now, here’s the really bad news: the Acura has never run right (poor acceleration and shifting) since that service. I took it back, and they ran a diagnostic on the computer, but found nothing. I would think that if they were so inept with these modern computers, they would have apologized and paid to have it set properly by Acura. I won’t be back to Rich’s for service on either vehicle.

Cindy and Rich are the owners this 22 year old automotive shop. They make you feel as though you are family, their work is excellent I would recommend them 100%

This is the best shop I have had the pleasure to do business with since my Dad the mechanic retired (and I might be biased about my Dad). Seriously, they are extremely professional and extremely friendly. Their prices are competitive with any of the places Ive checked. The real value here is in doing business with a shop that obviously cares about doing the best work that can be done on your car. No up-sell, no overcharge, no pressure, and they offer shuttle service. This is THE shop for my cars from now on. Many thanks to everyone at Richs! Dean explained everything in detail and was very polite and knowledgeable. The brakes on our Volvo feel like they are brand new again. I had a problem with my door locks and windows not working on my car. This place was close to my house and decided to give them a call. I called around and not many places had a close appointment available. I do not take my car to mechanics for anything. I always fix things myself but couldnt fix this problem. I explained my problem and was able to get an appointment with them very quickly. I was even offered transportation home if I needed it.I dropped my car off and the woman at the counter was very friendly. The mechanic called me before they did any work. He explained the different reasons why the windows and locks werent working. He listened to me when I explained that I tried to fix them myself but did not have the proper tools to do it myself.They quickly fixed them for a fair price. They have outstanding customer service and got my car done very quickly. I am very happy with the service I received and recommend them if you need a mechanic.

Only shop in town we trust anymore. The staff is understanding and very knowledgeable. they are fair and only do what is required and asked for. they make recommendations, but let you choose when and if to get then done. AAA member as well.

Rich and Cindy have taken honest and good care of me and my cars from about eighteen until I left FW. They are trustworthy and have bent over backwards to get me and my family back on the road safely whenever we brought vehicles in.Rich is always taking classes or learning new things about his trade, a signature mark of a top tier mechanic. And while theyre not always the cheapest, they are without a doubt the best.

Great family owned business

It is with a heavy heart that I post this negative review. We have taken multiple cars to Richs over the years dating back to when he was on Fairoak. Weve always had excellent service for a fair price. Until now, todays experience has turned us away from ever returning. We left feeling bilked from a very shady auto shop. We took our 02 Jetta in to diagnose sounds coming from the front wheels and replace 3 broken vacuum hoses, bringing two of the hoses with us. After TWO days; an estimate of $1200 (for just replacing the hoses only!); which we were told had to include a humongous list of parts that could break. We finally said forget it put it back like it was. Three hours later we came to get it to find it still in pieces and more unreasonable excuses all while the tech is seen working on another vehicle. We paid $275 to have absolutely nothing fixed, but we were given a break by removing the R&R (replace and repair)(Ya think? You didnt repair or replace anything!) then another $75 to have it towed so we could actually get the work done.While my husband waited for the bill he listened to Dean give a woman a run down of needed repairs that without them her car is limping along when it was only brought in for what sounded like an oil change.I WOULD NOT CURRENTLY RECOMMEND THIS AUTO CENTER.

Recently took my Mercedes to their place that i had an electrical problem for check. I had to wait for 3 days that they couldnt figure out what the problem is and they told me to take my car to Mercedes benz because they dont know how to fix Mercedes!! They shouldve told me from the beginning instead of wasting my time for nothing. They also charged me half of the price for diagnosis and i paid it sadly and took my car for Mercedes and paid for the check again. The old lady was rude and yelled at me ! Go somewhere else
