Greg was absolutely awesome in his professionalism and work! They removed asbestos from the air ducts and suggested we get our HVAC guys in ASAP to fix the ducts. They had rusted thru and Greg used as much duck tape and cloth he could to keep our AC running. I would recommend ProTechs for any upcoming needs.

Im an insurance agent with a very large national company and I highly advise people to NOT use ProTechs. In the six years as an agent Ive had two customers use them and both experiences have been horrible. The last situation the customer chose to use ProTechs before I could tell them about how bad they are. Sure enough, its been two months since their fire and they still havent returned all her items and we continue to get promises theyll have them back to her in a couple days. This also includes the manager, Bruce, who continues to lie about getting the stuff back. My poor customer is still missing her computer and many other items and no one from ProTechs will call back or give a straight answer. It seems like they may have lost her stuff and are trying to avoid admitting it. I cant believe how bad this has gotten with them. I just tried leaving a voicemail with the president of the company and it only lets you leave like a 45 second voicemail and it cuts you off. The customer WAS originally going to also have them do the structure repairs but they wouldnt get back with her for two weeks so she had to go with another contractor for that. I wont even get to the horrible experience my other customer had with his roof several years ago but it was TERRIBLE. There are much better options out there so steer clear of this place.

Excellent service, from initial bid which was compared to another, answered questions promptly, services were started sooner than expected, completed to satisfaction on an entire house of a smokers house pre sale, final walkthrough to ensure everything met expectations, would recommend

This team helped me in many ways after the fire I had a while back. I never had to guess what to expect next because they let me know every step of the way. I’m still amazed they were able to save & clean all my music instruments...especially my drums. Me & my band still use them all & its like none of them were ever in the fire at all. I had a flood in my basement and called Protechs. They were out to my house within an hour. I was so afraid they were going to have to tear out the drywall (we had just finished our basement at considerable expense), but they were able to dry out the basement so fast that the water did not damage my drywall. Their techs were extremely professional and knowledgeable and answered all my questions. I would highly recommend Protechs. They went above and beyond and exceeded my expectations in every way.

Weve used Protechs for 2 big water losses in the past 5 yrs and they did a fantastic job on both of them! A pipe broke at our friends house last weekend and we told her to use them. She said they were there less than an hour after she called and did a super job on her house just like we said they would. These guys came out in negative degree weather on a weekend and got the job done. When we need something fixed the only company well ever call is Protechs!

I have worked with several restoration companies in Indiana and Protechs was definitely one of the better ones. This was the first claim I have ever handled with them. They were very honest with me and my client about the extent of the damage which was less than we though and they provided more than they promised. They had my client back in her home 2 and a half weeks earlier than she anticipated. Not only was she very pleased but she told me she wouldnt recommend any other company in Northeast Indiana. I have to say I was quite impressed.

Has a house fire and $7500.00 to wash tools that we said not to! Only to get are stuff back with 1 to 2 tools in each box!! Like a meat smasher and an empty grill tool bag in 1 box! That’s absolutely absurd!!! And seem to be missing some tools! Weird was that your bonas pay?! Never again would I even recommend this company!! So disappointed

Half of these reviews are from employees, what a great way to boost yourself to a false rating . If you look at the reviews of people who have actually used them as customers, most of them are unhappy. They even shut the reviews off on their Facebook page, because they were all negative. Absolutely avoid this company at all costs. They did a terrible, terrible job on my restoration, took forever, and then ripped us off on the cost of the claim. Worst company I have ever dealt with. I would avoid at all costs.

I contacted protech after a referral with hopes of getting an estimate on my dads home which I recently inherited.The home had a small bathroom fire which resulted in a lot of soot and smoke damage throughout the home.After speaking with a receptionist and informing her I would be paying out of pocket she said a guy named Kirk would be out to give me an estimate.When Kirk arrived he looked around about 10 minutes and stated he thought this would just be a small bathroom fix and again asked if I had already contacted my insurance.I again replied I would be paying out of pocket.He states he would contact his lead because he came unprepared to give an estimate that size.I asked when would I be contacted by the lead and he said by the end of that day.That was last week.I have not been contacted by anyone from protech.I feel the reason I havent been contacted is because this company is assuming I dont have the money or cant afford to pay out of pocket.Im very dissatisfied and dissappointed.

They did a great job drying out our basement after it flooded and they revised our invoice to a much lower amount when they realized some of the work from the original estimate wasn’t needed after they finished drying it out.

No matter what, do NOT use this company. They will give a quote that isnt honored. The management of Protechs will NEVER return calls if you request an update for billing. They will send a bill to your insurance company with work that was never done. I would rate this company negative one below zero if I could do it. Any one in Fort Wayne who has used this company knows that they WILL cheat on the bill. Protechs is the WORST!

One of my renters was arrested after starting a meth lab in my rental unit, leaving me with a huge mess to clean up. I was referred to Protechs for help. Everyone from Protechs was so understanding of my situation. My unit was cleaned from top to bottom, tested and certified as meth-free and ready for me to list in much less time than I was told by other cleaning companies in Fort Wayne. I am so grateful for their assistance.

While fixing a section of our 81 yr old building we found asbestos. From the start to the finish Protechs did a fantastic job removing the asbestos and cleaning our building up.

Was referred to this company through insurance. Insurance said they don’t charge for estimate. So got a invoice for 500 dollar inspection and it states must be paid to receive estimate.

We used this company to clean up after our microwave started a tiny fire. The fire did no damage to the area just let off a lot of soot. We tried to clean it ourselves but needed the specialcleaner. So when protech came in the cleaning was at least half way done. The owner came to our house to assess the damage. Assured us that would clean everything and put it back he also said we wouldnt owe anything, our insurance would pay everything. We had to call then back 3 times just to clean the kitchen (where the fire happened) let alone the rest of the house. They ordered new appliances without asking us what kind we wanted, if we wanted them ordered etc (and now Im paying for them). They only cleaned a quarter of our stuff and left it all in boxes. They didnt clean any of our kids toys and we ended up throwing them all away. The only thing we ended up keeping with fire soot was our pictures. They painted all of our Windows shut and got paint on our appliances. We was desperate to get back in our house so we just let it all go and signed off. They charged the insurance over $12,000 and I would guarantee they didnt do at least half of what they charged for. When we signed off we were told everything was paid by insurance. Fast forward to a year later and we get a letter from a lawyer saying we owe $1500 and they are sueing us. We never once got a bill from them in that years time (and if we did trust me I would have took pictures of the pathetic work they did and fought it to the end). I wouldnt pay $1500 for the half a$$ job they did let alone $12000 we had to call them 3 times just to do the basic cleaning in the kitchen!! So now Im fighting with a lawyer over $1500 while all of my pictures sit covered in black soot, which was already payed for to be cleaned and obviously wasnt cleaned along with half the other stuff that was paid for to be cleaned and wasnt. Avoid this company like the plague they do a pathetic cleaning job and they try to screw you over in any way they can! Also check their bbb rating Im not the only one that has had an issue with them! Go with someone else

Unprofessional, they went into the burned up house before the adjuster and investagater. They almost destroyed my mothers claim. They harassed, intimidated and took advantage of my traumatized mother. I will be filing a complaint with the BBB. DO NOT USE!!
