Jason of DC Clear Auto Bra is a master of his craft. He can do it all!! I didnt mind driving 1hr 15 min from northwest of Baltimore to get to Jasons shop in Southern Maryland. This guy will do anything he can to make sure youre happy with his work. He discussed what I wanted and applied free demos to see what it looked like. He live streamed several parts of process, and spent a lot of time prepping my bike, removing every piece he could so he could have the most seamless, complete application possible. He did a few other little custom pieces the templates didnt cover. Jason is an artist in cutting custom pieces by hand and custom designing the computer templates with my input. He used all top end materials, such as the XPEL edging material in places he was concerned the edge might peel up (which I know hed fix for free if that even happened). Jason takes the time to do it right, getting everything just perfect down to using a heat gun to get it perfectly sealed (see pic).

Went over all details of what he will be doing, pointed out some defects on the car that came from the manufacturer and gave some great suggestions how to up keep the car. Unfortunately, we had originally gone with a different XPel installer closer to our home, who butchered our Tesla damaging multiple pieces, cutting the paint and overall doing an awful job. Jason is very attentive to his work. I myself am very particular, so after our discussion I immediately knew he was the right person to PPF/ceramic coat/tint my new 4Runner. The truck is not an easy project, and a majority of his work involves smaller sports cars/Teslas; he wasn’t shy for this job. Here’s how dedicated Jason is: he literally drove to a Toyota dealership to draw out the areas of PPF I wanted, again not a small job for the areas I wanted covered. He then sent me sketches of the areas to be covered. Jason was completely transparent throughout the whole process, to include Facebook live footage of my rig undergoing the initial front PPF coverage. Jason also gave me expectations of PPF to include returning the vehicle for any minor correction if needed. To top it off, he provided me with a cool SWAG Bag to thank me for trusting him with my brand new car. This small gesture is lost in today’s business practices. Got my Subaru Outback XPEL full front, full body XPEL fusion ceramic coating and XPEL XR+ tints from Jason and his team. Delivered the car to him Sunday night, and it was all complete by Tuesday night. Quick turn around thats accurate based on his estimated timeline. First time using XPEL products.Xpel PPF: The film edges were nicely laid out, and in most places you cant even tell theres a film. No bubbles seen so far.XPEL Fusion: No complaints, all water beads off the car without issues. First time using the fusion ceramic coating. Its suppose to be good for 4-5 years. After owning it for 3 weeks and taking it a little off the road and in a few rain storm, everything washes off and self dries as I would expect. Prior 2 vehicles both had Ceramic Pro and the product thus far is comparable for same cost as a silver package.XPEL XR+: Since its only been a few cool weeks here, I have not had a chance to test the heat rejection yet. However, the application of the tint was flawless. No bubbles seen and the film looks great so far. The reduction in light transmission is great and were no longer blinded by the sun and driving at night.Alloy Gators: Wheel rim protection. Got them in red to balance with our grey car. Looks awesome. Now I wont have to worry about curb rash to the rim. Ive seen these thing take a few dings, and its a fraction of the cost to replace them compared to a rim.Bonus: Love the YELLOW Model 3 rental he kindly gave us for the 2 days he had our car. It definitely drew attention. Didnt have to go without a vehicle at all. Full disclosure that I also own a Model 3, so I was well familiar with its operation. But the fact that theres a loaner he offers to his customers free of charge (costs not electricity, should always return as full as possible) is an awesome bonus.HIGHLY recommend DC Clear Auto Bra for PPF/Ceramic/Tint. Jason did a great job on my Blue Model S. He put on the full front Xpel film and then did the Xpel Fusion plus ceramic coating on the rest of the paint. The car is beautiful. He even worked with a near by paint shop to put a dab of paint on a hood chip that I got sometime in the first 1000 miles. Recently, I had to park the car overnight in the rain and leaves. After I drove it for a while it looked like it had just been washed. He was easy to work with and offered many options for drop off and pick up.

The only way this experience could have been better is if Jasons shop was a huge fully heated semi trailer parked in my driveway so I did not need to expose my brand new naked Tesla 3 to DC metro roadways to get to his shop. Better yet parked at the Dealer for immediate application. I wish I had a copy of the photo Jason took of where dump truck debris made a direct hit on our Tesla front end to attach to this review - a hit AFTER he had applied the film. WOW! I wish this stuff was available when I first got my 05 Titan. Jasons Customer Service is as Great as the XPEL film he applies. Every mile you drive leaves a mark on an unprotected vehicle - nothing wrong with MAACO but NOTHING beats Factory.

Spent the morning with @Jason Paravano at his shop DC Clear AutoBraJason is a consummate professional who worked tirelessly to complete my finished Xpel Ultimate Plus application to my front bumper and lower front splitter. I have been a Paint Protective Film (PPF) fan going on 3 years and once again I have been amazed at Xpel. After having my front wrapped for almost 3 years it was 99% flawless, but I had taken 2 serious front rock strikes. I could have left it as it was for another 7 years, but decided to have that section replaced. Once Jason removed the old Xpel Ultimate PPF it was immediately apparent that no damage, and zero rock chips had touched the surface of the original paint. The paint was as fresh as the day it rolled off the truck at my home. Jason was able to prepare and cut the new bumper template, and I especially noted his attention to keeping the work area clean. Jason’s shop is like a mini clean-room. I know that PPF is extremely sensitive to dirt and dust and that is one of the critical issues with PPF application (along with a host of other things that can go wrong). However, all of those concerns can be eliminated through the use of a trusted installer. Finding one anywhere is always a Challenge, and finding one who is convieniently located nearby is like gold.For those looking for an excellent product and a certified installer to match you will not go wrong with DC Clear AutoBra.
