Great tinter

Called a week ahead and scheduled an appointment. Dropped the car off at 1pm as scheduled and was called at 4:30pm and said they could not get to car. Took half the day off of work and drove 45 minutes one way and this is the service we get. Not a complainer but hopefully staffing/scheduling will improve. Maybe just one episode who knows!

I have every vehicle I purchase go straight from the dealer, to solar shield. Theyve always done flawless work, and have a lifetime guarantee to back it up. Theyve done more than 13 vehicles for me in the past 2 years and always gave me exactly what I wanted, at a better price than anyone else, I highly recommend them.

Solar Shield had the worst customer service I have ever encountered.My father had five vehicles done here and recommend them to me as being the best. I drove seven hours from Tennessee to get the windows tinted in an older SUV we had. I decided to wait while the job was completed. It took about 2-3 hours until I was told to car was ready. Most of the employees were very professional and I was very satisfied until I got into the car.They put a significant gouge in the window trim on the front passenger side, enough that I saw it immediately while still in the parking lot. I was waiting on the car but had not told them I was in a hurry and had not even asked once about the status. They let that significant damage go without fixing it before releasing the car, or without telling me about it and offering to fix it later. It would have been impossible for them not to have known about it, but I had to go back and ask about it. They offered to fix it then but I had another appointment, so I came back the next morning. After trying to fix it they asked if it was good enough, it was not. After getting upset at them trying to pass it off, I said one swear word. After that they told me to get out of the shop, that they would cancel the warranty, and that they would not fix the damage they caused. All the while swearing a lot more than I did.I was very upset at the initial lack of workmanship but I know accidents happen. What really upsets me is that they did not fix it before giving me back the car, or at least telling me about it and offering to fix it later. Then, doing a halfhearted “repair”, then pretending to be offended at my one swear word then saying what I said and worse. Finally, I sent the owner a message about it and never heard anything back.Thankfully it was an extra car, I would hate it if I would have taken our other cars there. I guess doing something right the first time, or caring about the business my family has done with them is not important. At this point there is nothing they could do to make up for the wasted time, I can only hope this warns other people.My recommendation is do not risk taking a nice car there, because if they don’t do it right they might not tell you about it, and a “warranty” is only as good as the company behind it.

I called Solar Shield and asked what kind of warranty they gave on their tinting. The man replied that they had a lifetime warranty. I told him that I got my windows tinted there 10 years ago and that I would like to get my driver window fixed because the tint is peeling. He told me that they have changed owners 3 times since then and the new owners wouldnt honor the old warranty. That being said, Lifetime warranty doesnt really mean anything.

I need to take it back and have them fix a small spot. Shouldnt be any problem though! Quick service while I waited.

Got my windows tinted in December of 2018 and recived a receipt showing LIFETIME warranty. The front window, side window, and back window all had creases in the tint. Was told to bring it back anytime to get stripped and retinted. Took my car to them on Friday 11/8/19 to look at and set up an appointment for 11/11/19. Dropped my car off for them to have it all day to fix. Two hours later they call and said they wont warranty the work anymore because of new owners. DONT TRUST THESE PEOPLE. THEY ARE CROOKS.

This place has not held to any kind of standard they cheated me on numerous vehicles each time promising to make it right or simply calling me a lier. Would not recommend this tint shop.their best employees quit because the owner of the business cheated them and didnt appreciate the hard work or dedication they gave.

Had an appointment on a Friday to get windshield and brow done, dropped it off Thursday early afternoon as a courtesy. Got a call Friday night saying they were trying to hurry and finish it. Told them to wait until Monday if they needed to, to make sure it was done well. Got it back and there’s glue all over the dash and bubbles everywhere. Looks terrible. Taking it to California customs to get it fixed. Don’t waste your time or money.

I took my truck to Breeden Dodge in Fort Smith, AR. to have some warranty work done and upon them having to replace two of my windows because their body guys left large gouges in them, they took my truck to these guys to have the windows re-tinted. Not only did they do a horrible job by leaving noticeable debris under the tint, but they also failed to put the same shade of tint that I originally had on it. Also, I dont know if it was them or Breeden as neither of them would accept responsibility and both blamed the other, but one of them allowed a dog to get into my truck leaving dusty paw prints all over my back seat and three a inch fray on the front of the bottom cushion, most likely caused by the dogs nail from climbing up there. Obviously, neither Solar Shield nor Breeden Dodge will be getting any more business from me, my family, or my friends. I would give them both 0 stars if I could, but sadly I cannot.

They do good window tinting, the last job is still on my windows after more than a decade; faded but no bubbles or tearing loose. Now as far as perfectionist.....no. I had them do my back glass which required them to take it out to make it look the best. That was great because I wanted it to look the best. The seal on my back glass was a few years old but not that old because I put a new sliding backglass in it not too long ago, there was plenty of pliability left in it especially since it had been taken out the day before and put back in with no effect to the seal. Now it has a couple rips in the seal and they scratched the new tint putting the window back in. And the guy that did it was upfront with the scratch but not the tore up seal (I now have to replace the seal).Now where I work (running a cnc) when something comes out sub-par we are required to scrap it which sucks because it looks bad on us but why (for the sake of pride, money) would I send our customers anything but what they paid for? This is something I stick to even with outside jobs.So I came in with a good seal and paying full price (paying) for a job that was delivered knowingly sub-par. I post this review for others to know the level of quality that they care to present. So from now on, I know that their tinting will last but Ill just take them the glass and install it myself because my level of excellence is far better than theirs even if my skill may not be.
