Noah at Walkers Auto is a smart guy. Im pretty confident when it comes to working on my own vehicles, but in my younger years I wasnt so keen - but when Id take my cars to other shops it just seemed like they were just as clueless as me and were taking random shots in the dark.Noah at Walkers is not like the mechanics Ive used in the past. He knows his stuff and can show you exactly what he thinks is wrong with your car along with the evidence to support it. If I cant figure something out on one of my cars, I take it to Walkers and he tells me what Ive missed. Most often I have him just do the job since the vehicle is already at his shop, but some times Im happy to have just paid Walkers for diagnostics and Ill take it home and do the job myself if its not too big.I recommend Walkers to everyone. Some times I get replies that Walkers gave them a big quote for a job that somewhere else quoted cheaper - but the thing is, Walkers usually gives an optimistic quote for if things arent that bad, and then he also gives a worst case scenario quote that would be if everything is bad and needs to be replaced. Most often my bills are closer to the lower price than the high price. Other mechanics will often give a low price and then the bill is way more, to your total surprise, and Id rather not be surprised.

I recently moved to Fort Smith and was in need of a mechanic. Walkers was referred to me by a friend. Honesty is the first thing I look for in a mechanic and Walkers proved to be very honest. Quality work and kept me informed while the work was being done. Price was very fair-in fact, I thought he undercharged us. When more repairs were needed, he actually told me how to fix it over the phone (beyond my skillset and I wanted it done right, so I took it in). Highly recommend this shop for all of your auto repair needs.

I needed a pre purchase inspection for a truck I wanted to purchase in AR. I couldnt go to AR from PA to look at it myself. I am impressed by how thorough they were. lots pictures and real time feedback. I had no surprises when I got the truck, even things the seller did not disclose. I was having coolant and transmission fluid leaking. I had previously bought a replacement radiator because I knew it was leaking coolant already. Very honest mechanic! Had a mechanic look at my car in Houston (while there on business) during an oil change and tire rotation, was told I needed shocks and two new tires. My car only had 41,000 miles at the time, they wanted $485 just for shocks and labor. Brought my car to Walkers once I got back to Fort Smith, Noah checked it all over, nothing was wrong with my shocks or tires. They rotated my tires and all was good. Excell customer service, sent me pictures of my shocks and tires, while it was on the rack so I could see as well. Definitely my mechanic!!

I came to Walkers after they were highly recommended by a friend. They were very friendly, professional and let me know quickly what the problem was with my vehicle. During the fix I recieved pictures of the new part being put on and also a computer picture of the problem being fixed to vehicle specifications. I brought it in because my belt wasnt turning on my air conditioning they charged me $109 to take the belt off tell me it was my air conditioner and that was locked up I would save me $19 if Id cut the belt myself

The fuel pump had gone out on my vehicle and left me unable to move it. I contacted Walker’s and they showed up to tow my vehicle to their shop exactly when they said they would. They then diagnosed the problem and had my vehicle repaired and ready for pick-up within a matter of hours. Awesome!!! Also at a reasonable price. I would definitely be using them again in the future for all my vehicle reappears and maintenance.

I was from out of town for business in Fort Smith AR my van failed in the middle of the road, I called for local towing and mobile repair mechanics but all had @ least 2 hours before they can get to me. Fortunately I called one who referred me to walker’s but didn’t have his contacts but told me to google it. I was able to find the business I called Noah he was quick to answer and was able to tow me to his shop.He did diagnosis and determined the issue fixed it quickly and I was able to continue my journey. If U wanna not get ripped off and know what ur paying for go here they send u pics of all things needing to be done and show u the old parts so u know they replaced it! Some places are a little cheaper but quality cost!

My belt kept slipping off on my car. After changing the belt, and tension pulley, checking the other pulleys and asking several people we decided to just take it to a shop. My husband dropped the car off before they opened and left a note with out information in the window. They called him and less than an hour later we had a text with what is wrong and total price to fix it. We told it would be done by 5 and sure enough when my husband got off work and got to it, it was ready with an inspection and all. So far so good. No issues! I will use this business again.

I called Noah from Omaha.My daughter had just moved to Ft. Smith and was in a fender bender that required front suspension work.Within one hour of my phone call Noah had the car towed to his shop in another hour he had it diagnosed all the while sending me photos of the damage.He located all the parts and informed me, with photos, that the front breaks were worn.He replaced the breaks and repaired the front end.He had my daughter on the road, which might not be such a good thing, in no time.My daughter has a trusted mechanic in Ft Smith.So I am very pleased.Noah is honest, polite and trustworthy!

I originally took my vehicle to the dealership for an oil change and some warranty items and I had them take a look at the rear brakes since it was already in the shop. They confirmed that the pads and rotors needed to be replaced but told me that, while my front brakes were still ok, they needed to go ahead and replace the front pads and rotors “to do the job right” to the tune of $1000+. They also don’t have the parts in stock and would have to order them and then wanted to hold the vehicle hostage by saying they didn’t recommend driving the vehicle. I immediately called Noah. He gave me an estimate that I felt was fair and said he could do the job the very next day. I drove straight from the dealership to Walker’s and he had it done before lunch the next day. He also checked the front brakes for me and said they don’t need replaced yet and still had almost half the pad left. He did the job cheaper and quicker than the dealership, used parts that are probably better, and didn’t try to sell me something I didn’t need. I’ve known Noah for 20 years and completely trust him with our vehicles. He doesn’t try to get rich on every customer, he makes his money through repeat business by doing the right thing every time.

My battery died while in town for work and all the shops were closed except Walmart. I called and explained my situation and he was able to tow me to their auto center just in time before they closed! He did a great job and saved me from being stuck in Ft Smith for the night!!

Tried a few others and got no solution to my brake problem. Walkers solved the problem and for not as much as I expected. Will I recommend Walkers to others? In a New York minute I will! Really decent people.

Best experience Ive had with any mechanic and or auto shop

My car lost power out of nowhere, called Walkers and was able to drop that day afternoon. They had the problem diagnosed first thing mext morning, and I had my car back by mid day! Fast and excellent work. Will definitely use them again.

Walker Auto Repair is the best mechanic shop that I’ve used. They have correctly diagnosed problems with my cars which I had previously sent to other mechanics who got it wrong and didn’t fix the true problem. I would highly recommend them to all my friends.
