I just moved in and Shawnee was super helpful in the entire process. I asked a lot of questions and she was patient, kind and understanding in answering them. We lived in portofino for a year and everything was great besides the staff oh and the mold in our air vents. Nobody ever answers anything. I have had a running toilet for about 2 months and I called multiple times to ask them to come fix it. my water bill raised $400 My roomate emailed Shawnee about 5 times asking her to credit us like she said she would but nope nothing now we’re on month 2 and we owe $400 for their inconvenience ..it’s your job. Do better.

Me and my boyfriend recently moved in here & we love it!! Shawnee was EXTREMELY helpful and kind- quick responses with emails, and was empathetic to understand the situation we were in. Maintenance team is also very kind and friendly. An overall quiet and friendly community. I would recommend this place to anyone!!

Resident called to get sone junk removed from their place of residence and I stopped by the office and left our info for JUNKSTER Munster junk removal at the front with office assistant. The homes are very nice, and the community is very friendly.

This is a lovely quiet rental community, the staff made it an absolute smooth transition for both my fiancé and I to settle in; they even gave us a cute housewarming gift, we felt very welcomed! I love the clean modern updated look of our new little home! So many beautiful features! We literally love everything!! the granite countertops, beautiful wood vinyl flooring, stainless steal appliances, high ceilings, and their valet trash service! This apartment is in a great central location! We highly recommend!!

This place is amazing. We love it. Our apartment has lake view- and it’s gorgeous. Staff members are very polite and helpful. We had a problem with air conditioner on a weekend- and it was solved so quickly! Highly recommended!

They have an issue with palmetto bugs. Saw about 3 on average daily.

This property has an amazing maintenance team as well as office staff members. All matters have been taken care of so far in a timely fashion. Communication is key! Quiet property.

I can never remember the maintenance employees name that always comes to fix things in my home BUT he is totally awesome! He is always bright and cheery and easy to talk to too!! I feel safe with him in my apartment whether I am here or not!!!!

I lived here for 5 years and have almost no complaints. The apartments are beautiful, the landscaping is gorgeous, the community is quiet and respectful, and the maintenance is done in a timely manner. The office staff can be difficult to get a hold of by phone but they are friendly and accommodating if you stop by the office. Management seems to truly care about making this a nice place to live.

Maintenance was really knowledgeable and helpful. Quick response to my issue. I think his name is Kareem? Great guy.

Property is clean and neighborhood is relatively quiet. Units are decent in quality and size.Staff are friendly. Maintenance crew were great. Wish office staff were more responsive to phone calls. Easier to go into office than to try and call to speak with anyone. Calls are not returned.

The place is clean and quiet. When you need something done, its done in a timely manner. The staff is professional and attentive when needed. Overall I love my apartment.

Awesome place to live! Apt is beautiful inside and out with all brand new appliances! Love living here! Only suggestions would be to make the gym 24/7 and my hot water went out this morn but I’m sure they will fix it fast!

Be careful!! they wont give you your deposit back! I lived in Portofino for more than 2 years and overall was a good experience. Although, at the beginning of this year they changed management 3 times. It seems they were having management issues. New management ignores you as a tenant and they just seem to give attention to people that are signing up for new leases. I have been calling, emailing and visiting them to see what happened with the balance of the deposit that I paid when I moved in, but I dont get any answer. I moved out from there on May 1st and its almost the end of August and I dont have the balance of my deposit back. You might be safer bringing your money somewhere else.

After moving out, I had to go back-and-forth with the management in order to get my security deposit back. The law states they cant charge for anything after 3 months and it took well over that to get the money back. But just today, 11 months later, I got a call from a debt collector theyve sent after me for $110 worth of cleaning. That what the security deposit is for, and they already gave that back.Dont move to Portofino Landings unless you like being scammed and harassed while management ignores Florida tenant law.

We took a seven month lease to stay at Portofino Landings while our new home was under construction. The apartment was immaculate, there were no problems with anything during our entire seven month lease.The manager and staff were very professional, they all take pride in their work, their efforts made our stay enjoyable.The apartment complex grounds, pool area, and exercise room, were always clean and there was no noise from any of the neighbors, everyone was very friendly and well behaved.

Shawnee is amazing!!!! She makes the community feel like home.

I lived here for a year and I loved it, I wish I could have stayed forever but I had to move far away. It was my first apartment and I shared it with a few other people. The apartments are beautiful with high vaulted ceilings on the second floor, there is a nice clubhouse with a beautiful big pool, a pond in the middle of the backyards of the houses with big fish and turtles that are fun to feed with children, the neighborhood is great, it is right by Walmart, the staff there are so helpful and they will bend over backwards to make you happy. Im going to miss living there.

The community is very nice!! Friendly neighbors and the clubhouse, pool and gym are all great, really get a homey feeling living here!

So disappointed at this place, my apartment got mold after 5 or 6 months in, I reported it to the service guy and was told that it was just humidity and was recommended to lower the A/C, which I did and after a couple days It was all over the house, I have a 1 year and 7 year old baby and the apartment started to smell awful to the point we had to take everything from the babys rooms and sleep on the less affected bedroom, when we went directly to management they put up the excuse that they didnt know after we submitted the same problem twice on the website, long story short after 3 weeks of complaining they moved us out of the apartment to a second floor with no storage, I didnt get any help from them moving out and I had to pay a private storage unite to put whatever was left, my advice find some place esle, you will be better off.

I have been living here since July 2018 and we absolutely love it, just waiting for the gate to be close so it can truly be a gated community, for added security.

These apartments are overpriced the old ones are anyway, considering the area it’s in it’s a horrible place to live you’re right in front of ghetto apartments called Sabal Chase. The worst part about it is I’ve been waiting three months to get my deposit back the manager herself told me that they forgot to cut the check. $1,250 for a 2/2 900sq ft. The management team was so bad they had to replace it when I was there the maintenance people don’t care there was mold in my AC unit and they never fixed it they just kept wiping it and spray painting it.

Moved out almost two months ago because we bought a house. Still havent received our deposit. I have visited the office, called the office, and havent heard anything yet. I asked for the corporate number and the lady in the office wouldnt give it to me. Im thinking about calling the attorney generals office to file a complaint since no one seems to want to contact us and return our deposit.

The place is incredibly nice, but nothing worth the price tag idc if you have 3 times the amounted need per month each week in your paycheck. dont go here they are robbing you go to sabal chase or somewhere in Stuart its cheaper and equally nice. price is still not worth what you are getting.

I was one of the first to moved at Portofino Landings in 2008. Excellent place to live. I moved due to passing of my spouse. I love living there. I will return there in the future.

Called in to inquire on a move in / prices for June 2017, the lady who answered was a bit rude. Despite the negative reviews. I figured i would call in myself to get a feel for myself ....Well needless to say i got a bad vibe so i will not be touring the place. The chances of me moving in are negative 0 which dont exist.I gave a star only because of how beautiful the propert looks on the pictures posted

When I moved here they try to move us in a roach infested apartment. And then had the nerve to tell me it was not infested. I was there for 5 minutes and seen 5 or 6 roaches crawling around in the apartment on moving day. I opened a drawer and watch the manager take off her shoe and smash a roach. Then the manager continued to lie about the roach problem she said she sprayed it twice and wanted us to move in and theyll continue to spray while we lived there. Finally they gave us a different apartment to live in it hadnt been cleaned yet but was better than roach infested. Months go by and then people move in and have four cars one of them was broke and SAT there for 6 months. Then another one of their cars was in an accident and SAT there for months and then another one SAT there for months and finally somebody said something about it and they made them move the cars. The gym hours suck the gym is open from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. so if you have normal business hours you will not be using the gym. And even if they changed the hours it would not matter because every time you go in the gym equipment is broke. And then there are people with pets that walk their dogs behind your apartment and let them poop and dont pick it up. I have 2 kids and cannot let them play in the back. I have gotten tired of complaining about everything it doesnt help. And the other review I have never seen this person in the neighborhood. But inside the apartment is nice I give them that.

I hate living here. I pay too much to have nowhere to park EVERY day when I get home. It’s ridiculous. Who wants to have to park the next street over carrying groceries. You literally have to decide between parking and food because God forbid you leave home

Very upset with management, the apartment wasnt ready for the 1st of this month and they got us in since I give them the deposit already. All blinds are broke,counter top was supposed to be changed but they just Culkin the counter badly,didnt paint properly and master bath is full of calcium build up. Management not fair and very rude disrespectful.

They could care less about their tenants. They will make you clear out some stuff from your apt AFTER you just had SURGERY with no help from maintenance people. I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone.
