Super Friendly and Welcoming Staff. I recently rented an engine hoist and the whole transaction was a great experience. They have a good selection of rentals and everything was clean and appeared to be well maintained. Will use them again.

Went in on Friday to rent some equipment and was a little bit early to get the weekend price but they gave it to me anyway since I was willing to pay and pick up the equipment later. Then the drive cable broke right after getting off the truck and called them and was told to bring it in on a Saturday and they would fix it. I wasnt there 15 minutes they had it fixed and on my way. When I brought the equipment back they even took money off the rental due to my issues. The staff was very friendly, courteous, and down to earth. Amazing job!

I will always rent from Dependo. You could not ask for a better owner. I have rented from them in the past and have never had any issues. I recently rented a seed slicer from them that I had used last season for grass seed. It performed great last season. I did not have to put down any topsoil or straw even though I was planting on bare dirt. It makes a groove in the dirt and drops the seed right in and then covers it back up. Saves a lot of work, money on topsoil, and no weed seeds from straw. This time around the slicer was having engine issues. Apparently the diaphragm in the carb needed replacement. I understand this happening and considered it just the luck of the draw for me. It’s not their fault. It has to wear out sometime and on someone. It happened on a Sunday. I spoke with the owner on the phone about it. Unfortunately he was out of town so he could not come by the house to fix it. He was very apologetic and said he could get it fixed for me first thing Monday morning and I could pick it up that afternoon. I tried my best to get him to take at the very least a half day charge but he would not take anything. Customer satisfaction was more important to him than the 80 bucks. That is why you go here and not a big box store to rent your equipment. They have a huge selection and when something goes wrong they fix it, the equipment and the relationship with the customer. No questions asked. Great People.

Good quick rent

On Friday, February 25, 2018, I had another occasion/need for equipment on a home project. I called Dependo Rent-All to make sure they had the equipment and picked up the chipping hammer later that morning. The following morning I returned the hammer with the job completed and while returning home it occurred to me that I have been renting equipment from Dependo since 1978 and never have made a public comment other than, Thanks Guys! So from a customer of almost forty years I just want to publicly say, Thanks for being there and providing most all of my equipment needs with dependable equipment. Under New Ownership 2019. I would give the new owner a chance. I wrote a review about a horrible experience I had a few years ago being charged a full day for being 10 minute late.The New owner reached out to me. Tried to make things right. And was apologetic about the previous owner.That shows great integrity to me. If you have had a bad experience as I did prior to 2019, please give the new guy a chance.He seems to be a good guy.

They always help me out and never have had any problems with the equipment I have rented from there. They do trailer repair and Im having my trailer straightened out this fall. Very reasonable pricing too!!

If I could give them zero stars I would. First of all I need a generator for one day. Went in Friday at about 4:30. Told them I needed a generator for one day. I planned on taking it back on Saturday. Well I was informed that they open at 8 and close at noon on Saturday. I asked if I was to rent it in the morning if they had a drop off on Sunday. They didnt. I was told that I would have to bring it by Monday and be charged for 2 days. I bit the bullet and rented it. Well I got home and was showing my wife how to use it, it didnt work. My wife wanted to take it to our new house and run a vaccum cleaner(we didnt have power yet). I took it back to get another one and asked if he could throw in a stand up light because it would be getting dark and there was no power. He acted like he didnt understand what I was asking, but he did inform me that they do rent lights but I would have to come back Monday to rent one because they were closed. Not the end of the story yet. He called me this morning at 9:30(Monday) asking for his generator back. He said it had to be back by 9 or I get charged another day. When signed the papers I was told to bring it in Monday, then I asked what time they close I was told 5:30 assuming that was when it needed to be back. That provoked a heated discussion between me and the manager. Im sure I am getting charged another day. All I can say is, Ill never rent there again and hopefully I have saved someone else from making the mistake I did with this post.

Very unorganized and unprofessional. Called yesterday around 3 for a tow behind lift. Was told they had a 45 footer, I asked to reserve it and was told they cannot do reservations. I asked if I could go ahead and pick it up since it was the end of the day and was informed I would be charged for an extra day and would need to pick it up in the morning. Showed up at 7:30 this morning to pick it up and was told the lift had a reservation on it(which I was told earlier they couldnt do). It is obvious no one there has any idea what is going on as they didnt even know what the difference between a straight boom and an articulated boom was. I highly recommend using the rent all store over on dodds ave. Mike is a great guy and I never have these type of things happen with them.

We rented the wrong equipment and had it for thirty minutes and came back to get the correct one and they still charged us for both.i understand thats business but I feel like it wouldve been better business not to handle it that way.

If I could give less than 1 star I absolutely would. Quick back story, I rented a boom lift from another company only to find out as we were hooking it up to my vehice a stabilizing arm wouldnt go all the way up. It was about 5 till 5pm. I start making phone calls and find Dependo is open until 530, PERFECT. So I talk to a gentleman that tells me to be there by 5:10pm to handle everything. I say okay and hang up. Gps says 20min which puts me at 5:20pm so I called back. Talked to a different fella this time and asks me a bit of info including if Im local. I live in Murfreesboro which is 2 hours North. Talks to the owner and says he wants a TEN THOUSAND DOLLAR DEPOSIT. Are you kidding me?? I could understand an increased deposit with some extra precautionary measures but a $10,000 deposit?? Absolutely not! In my 12 years of business Ive rented hundreds if not close to a thousand pieces of equipment and have never heard of this. When I finally found a piece of equipment to rent I mentioned what happened and they said Let me guess, Dependo Rent-All?. With my fellow business owners, family and friends I have in Chattanooga and surrounding areas you better believe they wont be needing your services in the future.

Price changes from when you pick up to when you drop back off, using any excuse. Returned equipment in better shape than I got it. Also, test and take pictures of equipment before you leave their parking lot, it helps.

I have rented from here twice. It is a familfy owned shop and they are competitively priced with home depot rental down the road. There weekend deal is is what I use them for since they are closed on Sundays they let you keep the equitment till Monday for the 25hr price. Only down side is that if you have a piece of equipment with an hour meter you still only can use it 8 hours so you end up storeing it for them for free since you can only put 8 hours on the clock.

Just had the most horrible experience with Dependo Rent All in Fort oglethorpe Ga. We had reserved wedding Tents, Chairs, Tables for our sons wedding. His soon to be wife is in the United States Airforce and they are planning their wedding for when she comes home on a short leave. Her orders were for the 19th of September to come home. So she wanted to book the wedding for 09/24/2016. so they will have time to go on their honeymoon. We found out those dates have been changed and we cant have the wedding until 1st of October. They would not change the date by one week to help our Miltary who is serving our country. What is wrong with this country. My husband went by first thing this morning and was told NO Wayne said it is in the contract my husband tried to explain the circumstance. So I called about an hour later and was told a firm no it stated in the contract. I can understand if the first of October was booked but it wasnt. I know what contracts say but sometimes you have to have a little compassion for our men and women who serve our country. So since we were told no twice in one day and not even let me check and see what I can do. We started looking for someone else talking with family and friends and telling them what happen we had the kindness of other people donating tents, tables and chairs we will be covered. I received a call from Lynn with Dependo Rent-all. Saying we did not give them a chance. I told her that we were told twice NO .So as of right we are out $600.00. I am a Christian lady and I would have never treated someone this way. I would have told them Let me see what I can do or let me talk to my wife and I will call you back. But we were told NO twice. I would never rent anything from them again. UPDATE Lynn just called and said they will refund us our money back.
