I just stayed here with a friend. We loved our pyramid. It was so cozy and had all the comforts of home. We cannot say enough. I loved the pool. It was so nice and quiet here. I would recommend it to anyone.

We absolutely loved our stay. Gerti and her staff make you feel welcome as soon as you arrive and treat you like you’ve been lifelong friends. Our Pyramid was perfect!! Quite, clean and fully equipped with all the amenities of home. The grounds are beautifully kept, flowering trees all over and the lake is my personal favorite. Not once, did I suffer from any of my daily pains, after using the lake, everyday. We’re going back in the fall and will return at least once a year from here on out.

Reading the reviews online I was a little nervous arriving. Once my partner and I arrived Gerti was there to welcome us with a coconut drink and asked us to relax now after driving a few hours to get there.That set the pace. The place itself is very peaceful. The animals loved it too. So many birds and I saw a large black racer who was the chillest black racer I have ever seen. Most of the time those snakes takes off but this was one was like eh, hows it going.Even my dogs were chilled. They simply relaxed on the cool tile and slept all weekend.They have a barefoot path that is foot reflexology. I would recommend you at least try it. Very interesting.Gerti & her partner Wilheim were great hosts/owners. This place is a mini oasis from a busy world. May the peace always dwell in this wonderful place.Margo & Peter

This place was AMAZING! From the Mineral lake, to fresh coconuts & mangos, beautiful jungle walk and gardens..nothing short of PARADISE...A HIDDEN GEM! Crystal was amazing, kind & attentive... Booked last minute and could not be happier with our 6 day stay. Our pyramid residence was phenomenal. So clean and everything we would need was already there. The natural spring lake was fantastic and Gerti and Will were the best hosts ever. We literally had nothing to complain about and we looked. We loved the daily outdoor holistic classes, nature walks and sand beach. Highly recommended.

Had a lovely getaway with my mom here July 2021. The pyramid was perfect for 2 ladies to have privacy and our own bathrooms.We had everything we needed and the unit was clean and comfortable.Crystal was very accommodating. We were bummed we didn’t get to meet Gerti because read so many good reviews about her energy.I loved exploring the grounds and looking up all the different plants and trees.THERE are MANGO 🥭 trees!!! Best part of the whole trip was picking warm mangos daily 🤤Since we weren’t super close to any particular beach, we actually went to FIVE different beaches during our stay ❤️ From Sanibel to Naples to Ft Myers… our favorite beach was Barefoot beach tho because of all the wildlifeWill return with my boyfriend!!Thank you!!!

We had a swarm of flying ants in our room, had to move pyramids after a long day and move all our stuff, they didn’t accommodate for the ants biting us in our sleep and getting into our food. The owner kept telling me to get ahold of booking.com and booking.com said it was all on them. They thought because they moved us pyramids that everything was fine but they didn’t think of everything we had to take out of the fridge/freezer, all our stuff packed (stayed for a week) and move it after a long day in the sun. We booked it for 5 people and only had 3 show up because the other two canceled and they proceeded to tell us we booked it for 2 and tried to charge an extra 270$ for 1 extra person staying when we booked it for 5.

I went to Pyramids in Ft Myers with my daughter..We had a wonderful time..The accommodations were really special..individual pyramids..We loved exploring all the trees along the jungle walk..we picked amazing mangos everyday..floating in the mineral lake was just what I needed…The staff was wonderful and accommodating….We will be back!

Very calming and relaxing. The view to the lake from the room was amazing. A great place to unwind and recharge.

Short version: for the price, its a great place to stay. Pretty clean (cleaner than I expected) with everything you would expect to be there. One main negative for us was how uncomfortable the beds were (as we are used to a different bed). There were a few other minor things but they werent a deal breaker for us. Would recommend and would come back again.Long(er) version: At first impression, it was a very unique stay. I wont lie, for $150 a night (comfort pyramid), I expected much worse. It was cleaner than I expected. The kitchen had everything we needed. The appliances were a bit outdated but they worked well. The living/dining room area is small, which to clarify, is not a complaint, just an observation. The downstairs bathroom was pretty nice, no complaints there! The downstairs room was quite cozy. My biggest con about this place was how uncomfortable the beds were. We are used to very different beds and had a hard time sleeping on them during our stay. The upstairs beds, we had the same issue. We didnt really use the upstairs bathroom but it seemed fine!Another thing I liked is the TVs (specifically the Rokus). They were great for those that wanted to relax and watch a show.The lake, we didnt really swim in. We did enjoy sitting outside on the chairs. I did take a dip in the lake. The bottom of it wasnt the cleanest but it was nice to swim in. My absolute favorite part about this place was the outside. Its smack-dab in the middle of a busy area but it was done in such a way that you feel like you are in a secluded area surrounded by nature! The palm trees were gorgeous and there were some interesting animals around.As for the height of the pyramids, one of the comments said that it isnt meant for people over 5 foot 11 inches (?), my husband is 6 foot 7 inches and I am 6 foot. We both fit fine.Overall, happy with our stay!

Went to visit here a few months back and truly enjoyed my stay here. The manager was very friendly and accommodating with all my needs. There is a beautiful pool lake which i really liked as well. The Pyramid i rented was very nice and unique from other rooms i have been to. Very clean and a cool design. There are some nice restaurants near by too so it is in a pretty nice location for anything you really need. No complaints at all from me i would really recommend this place to anyone. Will have to visit the Pyramids again soon!

I came to visit some family and stayed here at the pyramids resort. I was very impressed with the professionalism of the staff. The manager was a very friendly person and greeted me when I arrived. It was very calm and peaceful and everything was good and clean. The lake was very nice and refreshing. The Pyramid had everything one needs. There was even a sign on the table that they disinfected everything before my arrival. I had a great time and cant wait to visit this place again.

This may be the best kept secret in Ft. Myers, Florida! My husband and I enjoyed a wonderful and relaxing long weekend in one of the very unique Pyramid cottages, which was well appointed and very clean! The mineral spring lake was just steps away from our door. The way the property is arranged gives each Pyramid a sense of privacy, which was nice. Crystal was most accommodating and very friendly! The beach was a 15 minute drive away. It was a great mini vacation and we will definitely be staying there again!

Gerti falsely accused my family of damaging her property.  She charged $300 after my stay, stating we put a hole in the wall.  I requested for her to send me evidence of the damage, but she never sent the picture.   I was fortunate that I took pictures of the property the day of arrival.  From my own pictures, I was able to zoom in and see damage there.  I even tried sending my pictures to show her the damage was there upon arrival and she still accused us of doing it.  She stated since we had 2 kids and the pictures were taken after my arrival, as the reason we did the damage.  She even went on to say the prior family that stayed can testify, there wasnt any damage (of course they can).Thankfully I booked via VRBO and I was able to get a refund through them since Gerti did not comply with the dispute.  If you book, please be careful! TAKE PICS OF EVERYTHING immediately upon arrival.  THIS PROPERTY HAS BEEN REMOVED FROM VRBO due to this incident.

This is a great place to stay..with beautiful architecture, and lots of things to do.The massage was A+ I felt like a new man afterwards.

We recently stayed here for 5 days and I immediately missed this place the moment we drove off. The staff is amazing, especially Cristal who is a sweetheart and made us feel like we were family visiting them. I got the beat sleep of my life, and thats hard for me since I wake up many times throughout the night..well not here. I slept like a baby all night. Must be the positive energy of the pyramids at work. Not to mention, I am type 1 diabetic on an insulin pump and I kid you not, I barely needed to take insulin because my sugar levels were within range the ENTIRE 5 days. I might just have to move here lol. The lake was extremely soothing and relaxing as well. We also went to ft yers Beach and as a miami resident, I can say that Ill never hit a south Florida beach again. I am sticking to ft mysrs or the west coast! We really have no complaints about this place and cant wait to be back with the family. Thanks for all you guys did to make us feel at home. This place is truly magical.

Highly recommend! Book it!I cant say enough good things about our stay at The Pyramids. My family had a blast, both kids 4&12 were entertained the entire stay. The property is beautiful, a lovely jungle walk and a cool fishing area if you are up for a little hike, my boys enjoyed it. The water was perfect for those hot Florida days to cool off and relax. Our pyramid had everything you would ever need to have a relaxing hassle free vacation. We were close to the playground area and that worked out perfect for us. Crystol was so welcoming and accommodating, her hospitality was top notch and made us feel like family. There are many things near by as far as groceries, pharmacies and restaurants. I highly recommend staying here and experiencing this special place you wont regret it. Our only regret is we didnt stay longer! OH! Lastly the beds! The beds, so comfortable. We had 2 queens and 1 king and all of them were so comfortable.

Gerti, the owner was so kind to us throughout our stay- and even let us check out a couple hours later because we just didn’t want to leave, and really enjoyed soaking up every moment of our honeymoon there. We had the whole place to ourselves with the hurricane, but enjoyed the solitude. It made for a truly romantic setting, quiet and peaceful and we had all the accommodations we could have needed!

We had a nice weekend getaway here. Staff was extremely friendly and checked up on us if we needed anything “ were not used to that after check in”. Rooms were done up nice and clean . Masks were worn by staff and vacationers in common areas .Just a great place to get away soak up some sun or pool. Very laid back!!

We had a great stay at the pyramids! The actual pyramid was very comfortable and felt like home. The property is beautiful and very relaxing! We brought our 4 year old son who absolutely loved the lake, the jungle walk (we brought his scooter) and all of the flowers. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed and there was plenty of linen and comfy blankets to snuggle with. The service was great and everyone was very friendly. The property itself is tucked away and was quiet and you felt like you were in the middle of an empty island. They have a great herb garden where we picked fresh herbs to flavor our dinner with every night, and the grills were great! The only complaint was that the jungle walk was much shorter than we expected. We would still definitely recommend this place and will most likely return!

Perfect getaway spot. Cleaning & maintenance needs some serious housekeeping, A. K. A RE-VAMP THE WHOLE DEPARTMENT. Their policy claims vinegar is the only cleaner used. In todays society and covid still rampant. No disinfecting or sanitizer is used. Upon my arrival here I checked into my pyramid and later found the 2 handsops in bathrooms were old bottles filled with 3/4 water and the top seemed to float soap to make diluted soapy water

I was a family member of someone who booked the reservation, while the place felt a little dated but comfy and nice, the pool was questionable. The reason for the one star review was that one of the hosts came by to remind us about a rule we broke the previous night, AFTER another host already told us about it the same night. That normally wouldnt be an issue, but the second host was VERY condescending and and dragged on their speech for too long. The whole encounter left a bad taste in my familys mouth for the rest of the trip and made me give them one star immediately.tldr: being rude doesnt help if you do it in a nice voice, work on host customer service

The place is not bad but the customer service could be better. The house could be cleaner... We found roaches even tho the table had a sign that said they had just disinfected.

In an attempt to get away from COVID stress we booked a 3 night stay, which turned out to be one night as we made the decision to leave the premises.When we arrived at 8 pm we were scolded by Chrystal for arriving past the check in time. We in fact had called at 7 pm to notify them we were on the way.We were shown to our pyramid and upon entering Crystal removed her mask (Covid protection) and stated that they try to get as much fresh air as possible there. We work in the medical field and take this matter very seriously, so this was very concerning and upsetting.As Floridians, we can tolerate bugs as we live among them. Unfortunately, we encountered them in the first 15 minutes inside our pyramid while eating dinner (gigantic cockroaches). We looked past it and prepared for a good nights sleep.Upon climbing into the bed we felt sand on the sheets requiring us to brush it off before sleep. Naturally, not the most comfortable way to try to begin our visit. We were tired and tried to look just forward to the next day.Perhaps our pyramid was on the older side, but the Pyramids boast a clean, allergy-free atmosphere. Our window sills had not been cleaned, nor the place thoroughly dusted, in quite some time. We went upstairs to use the shower there and discovered pubic hairs on the floor in front of the shower entry. That was point we decided it was time to depart.When we returned the keys and explained our reasons for leaving, we were met with confrontation and denial by Crystal, as well as the suggestion we had not experienced these incidences (including that we should have brought the cockroaches to show her).Spend your hard earned dollars elsewhere until they can provide the experience they are advertising.R

Stayed here a whole week with my boyfriend and we didn’t want to leave. We will definitely be coming back every couple of years to take a vacation at this wonderful romantic place.

Not handicapped accessible. Wanted to use the mineral lake but it it not accessible to get to in a wheelchair. There is no pool although it is stated they have one. The rudest manager Ive ever encountered. The first day I got there out of a five night stay, I told her that the room is nothing on the resort or the room is handicapped-accessible and she pretty much said oh well theres nothing I can do about it. I told her I wanted to leave and I wanted my money back and she said she had to contact the owner. She claimed she tried and tried and tried to contact the owner the owner supposedly is in Australia. I sent three emails to the address I had for the owner and she never gave me a response. The doors have no internal safety bolt. I had to use a broom to add security. There was a helium balloon twisting around the upstairs fan. In a vaulted ceiling, that they just left. After I complained that I needed the fan on she brought a ladder to get it down. That is unacceptable, should have been taken care of prior to my srtuval. There were crumbs on the chair under a cushion, when I complained she came and brushed the crumbs into her hand and put in trash. Again I told her it was unacceptable. I told her I was leaving early and she said I can leave whenever I want but she can not give refund. I asked for a receipt stating I was checking out early, again she refused. Said she had no access to be able the give me any receipt. She even refused to handwrite me a paper stating I left early.DO NOT BOOK THERE. RUDE, OBNOXIOUS MANAGMENT

Unusual design concept. Watch your head on those angled walls! Im sure in the heat of the summer, the natural spring pool is refreshing especially with the outdoor bar but in November it was too cold to try out. The pyramid we stayed in had an AMAZING memory foam mattress and I slept like a baby.

I cant say enough nice things about this place. It is so unique and nothing like Ive ever stayed in. Gerti is the nicest host you will ever meet...she was so helpful with getting us a pyramid last minute and even had Easter Brunch waiting for us in our fridge upon arrival. It is so private and very spacious with a fully equipped kitchen...the washer and dryer in our pyramid was a nice surprise also. We had 7 days of paradise and I cant wait to go back.

This is a very neat Place interesting and relaxing. The small man-made lake in the center of the complex is nice too. Little problem with the bathrooms with cleanliness.

We can highly recommend staying at the Pyramids. Our pyramid was tastefully furnished, had a washing machine and dryer, the kitchen was fully equipped with a variety of utensils and small machines. there were more than enough dishes, there were enough hangers in the closets (!) - all of which made spending time there pleasant and easy. We had a pyramid located right on the thermal lake and our patio was just a few steps away from the water. Around us there were various flowering bushes and trees, and even mango trees laden with fruit. The superintendant, Will, was very friendly and helpful. This is a very special place and we hope to return.

This was a perfect place to stay for our family vacation. The lake is great for small children and we were close enough to Sanibel Island to make several trips.

A very interesting find in Ft. Myers. A very engaging Austrian Community with Allergen free (linens, mattresses, air filtration system etc.) Pyramid shaped dwellings, a Natural thermal spring (that took 15 minutes to get into...lol) and a quiet and tranquil weekend. Who knew? Gerti is so lovely and accommodating.

The location was perfect. The house was cool with three beds, a kitchen and a nice size bathroom. In just a few steps we were at the amazing huge pool. Great Place to stay and super nice staff too.

We stayed here on New Years Day (2018), the scenery here is beautiful, with an outdoor pool, but we were lucky because it was not cold. The apartment looks very nice from the outside and very cozy inside, the only problem is the apartment has very bad smell mold. It sticks to hair, clothes and blankets. If you solve the problem, everything will be perfect.

For the sixth time in November, we were allowed to spend 14 wonderful days in the pyramid village. With fantastic weather and an extra flair in the pyramid we enjoyed every day. We felt comfortable all around and accordingly it was hard for us to say goodbye. Much too fast passed the time and we will come back next year. A big THANK YOU to Gerti and Will for the great time! We have arrived home strengthened and look forward to the next holiday in the Pyramid village. Gerhard and Sonja L.

Super nice German-speaking management ... at any time with questions (especially at Florida / USA newcomers) ready to help. Also small tips (such as * Do not drive around the clock and there or parked there ... the tow away immediately *) we got. Great for people whose * school English * after 30 years already a bit rusty. The complex itself is nicely done, with spring water pool and plenty of sunbathing areas. Everything was very clean and quiet (you can hear the highway, because probably the last Hurican blew up too much forest ... but not in the house). In the house you will find everything you know about good holiday homes.

As a couple 2 weeks without children to enjoy was great. An oasis of relaxation. Very warm welcome by Gerti and Will. German speaking. It makes you feel at home. Swim in the pool with thermal water every morning and enjoy the ambience. Strategically located super to the Beaches, golf courses, restaurants and outlets are only a few minutes by car. The outdoor bar is even within walking distance.Well be back! 😎🖒⛳ ♥ 🇨🇭

My wife and I spend many years our vacation with Gerti and Will. We feel at home in the pyramid village. Gerti and Will are extremely competent and the best contact for every question. The pyramids are very lovingly decorated and above all clean and well maintained, yes the whole area enchants us again and again. All sights are easily accessible by car. Shopping for daily needs are nearby. Special relaxation offers the bathing lake fed by a thermal spring. This is also suitable for children, as it is not very deep, on the shore very flat. If you then participate in Gertis weekly offered sports program is the recovery nothing in the way. Thank you both for the creation and preservation of this wonderful department. Now 1 year is over and soon we are back in our second home. Gerti and Will, we are coming!
