I recently rented from this real estate company and they are awsome. Friendly and responsive from the get go. Its been a long process finding a home to rent but it finally came to an end here. I worked with khrystie mainly and she made me feel right at home. So far everyone has been helpful with any questions Ive had. I had an A/C issue the first week and they had someone respond and fix it in 1 day! Thank you for getting me into my apartment!!Edit: and just to be clean this is KEY REAL ESTATE ADVISORS INC. People need to make sure they are referencing the correct company since there are a few with very similar names

Would absolutely NOT recommend. They are unresponsive, not just ONE person but the entire team. These people are thieves in plain sight.From the owner Dan Norden to the real estate agents including Khrystie Gonzalez, who at first seems very nice just to sell you on the property but will then never respond phone calls or emails to this day and it’s been almost a month.Finally got a hold of the landlord and he is keeping the full deposit even though we hired a monthly cleaning service and paid extra for a deep cleaning one week prior to us exiting the premises. Please under ANY circumstances do not use these people whether they change the name of their company or not. Will be posting on all of my social media accounts and spreading the word.

Hot water heater broke. They were very quick to respond and fix the problem. Water signed also broke. They were out in about an hour. Jessica was very friendly and helpful.

Dan and Key Real Estate work hard to have the best team and take care of their landlords and tenants. I rented a condo at the Cove at Six Mile Cypress for 12 months and if I wasnt moving out of state I would have likely renewed my lease. The experience I had during the move out was exceptional. Melissa, the property manager, is friendly, efficient, knowledgeable and courteous. She is very easy to get along with and very pleasant! Bethany in maintenance does a fantastic job making you feel like you are her number 1 priority. She worked fast and sincerely made my day. Juan the Lead Inspector was amazing... I could not have asked for more. I wanted to ensure I left the condo in better condition than when I got it and no problem I got my full deposit back! Their team has been responsive, available and attentive for the last several months of my lease. In the beginning of my lease (spring 2017 through summer) my complaints are now not relevant to share because they reorganized their team and only have the best on board now. Keep it up Key Real Estate!!! Thank you for your hard work, making it easy during the move and making all the difference every day. I appreciate all you do!

Key Real Estate is awful. I would not recommend anyone doing any business with them at all. If you choose to do any business with them make sure you document everything. I would also recommend you have council review anything that needs your signature. This company does not operate in good faith and will try to take everything from you if they can. Be mindful and very careful, when dealing with key real estate.

I was with this company for over 5 years, always paid my rent on time. The final year when I were thinking of renewing my lease, they raised my rent by $500 dollars...just like that. It had always been $25-$50 when renewing. The house I rented was home to me, but had many problems and the sewage kept backing up. Water constantly on the floor and coming up through the shower. Key Real estate claim it was hair that clogged it, then they said contraceptives. I was married, didnt even use them. In who doesnt wash their hair. I even had the owners niece visit the house. She told me she was switching Realtors, she was questioning them herself. Anyways I can go on and on, but the downside to it all is, after all those years of being a loyal tenant and me & my sons dealing with the sewage in my home, toilets backed up, and A/C cutting out all the time. I were moving to another home and used them as a previous tenant reference. They told the new company that they would not rent to me again, because I refused to pay a $300 maintenance fee that even the repair man said clearly wasnt my responsibility. He said the house was built wrong, the pipes were too close to the house..therefore it wasnt letting the toilets flush properly. Everything was getting backed up. I had paid many fees residing at that residence, just to keep the peace and remain a good tenant. I even cleaned the house when I left. Normal wear and tear. They also came up with little things, they claim werent clean. Like the carpet was stained, after 5 years of them never changing it. I didnt even get my deposit back figures. Dan was very helpful & a good listener for the most part, but Melissa..she should not be working there. I dont like to sound rude, but to be in her position...shes yet to learn whats right and wrong under her title. I would have loved to take legal actions, but its not worth it. God take care of all things and may God bless this company I pray. My sons and I have found a place to call home and Im Happy. I hope they can grow to be a better company. 😇

The work did take a while but thats due to the owner hiring his own people. However she did stay in contact with the owner to make sure the work was being done. She truly worked with me and made sure people were out to fix all the issues. She took my thousands of phone calls with no problem or sign of annoyance. This will be going on my third year with this company and couldnt be happier with the service and attentive care that was given. Bethany follows up and makes sure to return calls. Horrible customer service! They never call back and my water kept getting shut off! The outside system was messed up and the refused ti replace but kept making excuses on why it was happening.Could almost never get in contact with the weekend maintenance and during the summer the grass would get extremely high and the would go weeks without cutting it and made the home look abandon and ugly.They did not give me my security deposits. They are frauds and I would not recommend them to anyone!Update: I have no reason to lie about this company. Im familiar with Bethany and Mimi I have spoke to them both numerous of times. You guts purposelly kept my deposit and lied about the cost it took to repair the home. This company and staff should all be ashamed of themselves. Youre liars and thieves. Matt and Melissa I thought both of you were decent people, I was wrong!!!! Our a/c went out 5 times in the year we were renting from them and not once was it our fault. But yet my family and I had to sleep with the windows open because Key refused to call out the repairman. You have kept 100% of my security deposit ($925) and refuse to send me a letter or a phone call explaining why. My husband and I have both called and sent emails with no response. And now we find out through a phone call from a collection agency that Key has sent our account to collections for over $3000 ??? For what??? This is not the way to do business.In response to K Propertys rebuttal....How DARE YOU call me a liar in your response! I have pictures proving what the house looked like when we moved in and what it looked like when we moved out!! When Matt did the inspection the 6 wks before we moved out he said to me and I quote this is the cleanest property Ive ever inspected, to which I said thank you...the A/C going out 5 times had ZERO to do with the filters, check the A/C companies notes again. The repair guy who kept coming out told us to watch you all because Key RE had a habit of blaming the tenant. No gates were EVER left unlocked. I wont discuss my financial matters on here, because Im not white trash like you so obviously are. But let the world know that we werent evicted. And if we hadnt paid our rent everyone knows my family and I wouldve been out on our butts! No one from your office will return mine or my husbands emails or phone calls. Thanks for making a horrible experience even worse. The best thing you can do from here on out is shut your mouths, stop trying to slander my character and pray that I dont come up with the extra money for an attorney.

They are very quick to ask for money and signing to secure lease however not so quick to take care of serious issues existing prior to move in like a broken window, toilets that dont flush, washer drain hose clogged... just to name a few. But they will call and ask for 20 dollars cuz you didnt turn water on for few days after move in?????🤔🤔🤔🤔

Things were great last year, then this year when I renewed theres a new manager and Leasing agent and no one is doing their job. Work orders never get answered either. It takes them months to do anything but what if i took months to pay my rent? Would that be fair? I REGRET renewing my lease!

Very unhappy with this PM company. would not recommend. inexperienced personnel with regard to your property e.g., a/c, water heater, handy men, lanai repair (anything). there is no verification if services rendered were ever completed. but you will be billed, whether or not you approved it. tenants have more rights than owners. then blame game is played. inspections are to be desired and owner will end up paying for majority of all tenant caused damages. very disappointed with this company. would not ever use again.

Bad, they do not fix things and they charge you later. The sewer broke twice and I got charge for the cleaning. This happens as soon as I moved in, the sewer over flowed. They decided to finally fix the sewer after I moved out. They wanted to shave off cost by blaming me with arbitrary damages. The front door broke and I had suffer and beg to have it fix. The staff now little bit better, but I had go through hell... very rude. I dont recommend them at all. They have poor communication which they dont take responsibility for. This leads them to blame the occupant for illogical costs such as tack sized holes.

Worst landlord Ive ever had. They listed my house as a 3 bedroom, but wouldnt let me inside before signing the lease. Got in and there are only 2 bedrooms. It took them 6 months of my constantly getting on their case to get my garage door working. Repairs I was promised on moving in have not been done months later. They always have an excuse that the repairs havent been authorized by the property owner. Repairs that have been quoted by their own contract maintenance people go ignored. Now my water doesnt work, and theyre ignoring my calls about that. Buy a large cardboard box and live on the beach. Youd be better off than ever dealing with these complete slumlords.

Will not recommend the property they are renting at hidden palms cove in ft. Myers. If you wish to move in a place with not enough lightings, this place is a place for you! We had to buy 3 ceiling lights and pay a professional to install them! Ridiculous!No water spout on the roofing.Appliances installed are new but crappy.Water shower pressure not good.Toilet flusher not good.Somewhat lots of sharp stuff on the carpet.Nice people is OK but crappy stuff you have to deal when where you live is NOT ok!

This company is both unprofessional and dishonest. We were interested in a property so I contacted Vicki (per the ad) and had to call her three times over the course of a work week (which she was not on vacation for) before I got any response. She asked me to call her back the next day and when I did she started yelling at me on the phone for calling her because she was in court (I still wonder why she picked up the phone in court) and that set the tone for our dealings with these people. Put off by that interaction, we didn’t contact them again for a couple of weeks when the property came up again and we were first in line for it. This time we were working with Jennifer since Vicki had been so unprofessional and unreliable. When we brought the security deposit up, not only did the receptionist lose the copy of my husband’s license she made, she didn’t even know how to look up the property we were interested in. Jennifer set us up for an October 1st move in date (this was the last week of Aug/first of September) since they needed to do “some renovations” on the house. We contacted her throughout the month to make sure we were still on schedule for the move in and received affirmation every time. The week before the move in, she had still not gotten back to us to sign the official lease and show us the property. WE had to get a hold of her through several calls and texts. Her response? “I don’t like texting.” She informed us the day before we were supposed to move in that she just had to check with the rehab team and we should be ready to go. She called us a little later and told us that they had not started the rehab and we were unable to move in. She then proceeded to shovel all the blame off on “the owner” and disown the situation. We had already given our landlord notice that we would be moving and had a 6 month old baby. We were essentially out on the street and all Jennifer had to offer was “I feel bad for you.” She then suggested we check out a different property which would have cost us $250 more a month with a non-negotiable 12 month lease, essentially costing us $3,000 more with no room to look around for a new place since she had been lying to us the whole month. Then, she could not make any time for us that week since “she had to move in two tenants”; the four days left in the week would have to be taken up with them and we who were in a serious situation because of her would have to wait. Then she told us she was quitting on Friday and we would have to figure the situation out with Vicki. Playing phone tag with her was not high on our list of wants but we had to do that. Vicki was not helpful at all, made us wait another week before even making time to let us see the new place (keep in mind that at this point except for the generosity and understanding of our landlord we would have been out in the street with our little baby which we informed BOTH agents of). We finally washed our hands in disgust and demanded our deposit back. We waited over a month to get it back and in this interlude we had to call them repeatedly, they assured us on three separate occasions that it was “going out”, it never arrived and then they said that they hadn’t actually sent it and besides that had lost our address (which we had given them multiple time through multiple mediums). During all this time, whenever we contacted Vicki about it, she shoveled the blame off on someone else or had someone else call us back instead of talking to us directly. Every person we contacted in the company was utterly without fault and could tell you why someone else was to blame for their shortcomings. Overall, we have been utterly disgusted and appalled by the treatment by this company and will be sure to warn others against dealing with them. Perhaps the only promise they kept is that they (finally) got us our deposit back, minus the $100 application fee.I strongly suspect that the lightly-detailed 5-star reviews on google are shameless promotions by people on the payroll.

The inspector lies about photos and will charge tenants if he dont knock loud or call when he arrives. You need to take a day off of work, then you might get a charge on top of that. This company is a scam. Theres lots of other good ones in this area.

When it comes to communication this company does not know what COMMUNICATION is!!!! They dont care about their tenants issue when it comes to maintenance problems and they dont return phone calls!! This is by far the worst company Ive ever dealt with. The few staff Ive dealt with are rude and all have such terrible attitudes. Clearly no one there has Customer Service Skills which is very sad and not good for business.. Whom ever the owner of this company may be and if you are reading this review you really need to reevaluate the way things are being handled at this office starting with your staff. This is one company I would not recommend any family nor friends!!!!!

We hope its still working fine since the maintenance vendor came over to plug it in . Matthew one of the realtors didnt bother communicating with me to tell me my credit score needed to be a certain number he took my 50$ and told me after the fact this place is terrible on communicating not to mention the terrible smell in his office of cigarettes.SECOND ATTEMPT renting from themHorrible company to rent from I moved into my place November of 2018. I went on maternity leave September of 2019 I was placed on bed rest with no income until after giving birth which was in October. I was previously behind on rent July and August due to unfortunate situation but gave key real estate 2500$ to catch up. I took the initiative to have a place assist me with rent for September and they decided they would pay October as well. Melissa told them both NO to the funding and said they wanted cash on hand in the office by the end of the business day or an eviction will be filed. The two places both were very concerned as to why they wouldn’t accept guarantee money BUT melissa kept saying the landlord had “financial obligations” to meet BUT again he would not accept GUARANTEE money for the current month of September AND the next month. So once they told both places no my hands were tied because again I was on maternity leave with no income. I gave birth in October and still no income. I was supposed to appear in court to fight this eviction The day after getting out of the hospital but because they knew I would win because they didn’t accept the money that they had coming to them they decided to file a motion to cancel court and decided not to renew my lease. They were still willing to accept money IN CASH from me up until 2 weeks ago when I was told by my attorney to ask them if they would still accept this for legal purposes and Dan Norden the owner bit the bait just the way we figured he would money hungry and wanted cash in hand but didn’t want to accept funding from the two places that were offered to them mind you I was told that they deal with these two places normally so it’s not like these are places they have never heard of. So here I am 4 kids a single mom at the moment and they are putting me on the street for a situation I had resolved and they were against it. Tell me if that’s not inhumane and wrong on so many levels.

I have 12 units in a challenging location managed by Dan Norden and his team at Key Real Estate. My experience has been positive- I would recommend them to other landlords seeking competent property management. Lindsey and Mimi in maintenance have worked hard to keep expenses reasonable and the tenants satisfied. This is a most difficult challenge and by far my largest expense. Catherine has been highly motivated to ensure that tenants remain current on their rent and has also done a great job increasing security deposits and reducing vacancies while gradually boosting my revenues. Jennifer as well has been aggressive marketing and filling the rental units- I appreciate all their hard work that allows me to be a long-distance investor. Communication with the entire team is key and where they all excell.

As an owner in another state, it was important to have a competent, professional, and reliable company manage my unit. Dan Norden and his team have done an excellent job. It is also easy to view all my statements and documents on their website portal. They recently found a new tenant very quickly. The unit needed cleaning, repairs, painting, and other rehab work to make it rent-ready. Lindsey Muniz, Rehab-Maintenance Coordinator for Key Real Estate, did an outstanding job in getting everything done expediently. She kept me updated throughout the process and even emailed me photos for my approval. I highly recommend Key Real Estate Advisors.

Dont use this company to manage your property. All they have managed to do is have irresponsible contractors, fake repairs, and leave your doors unlocked so your property gets vandalized. Its seems that the only 5 star reviews are from people who do work for them.

Omg where do I start, am so greatful for Vickie Ellison at key real estate.She made my moving process so easy.She always answered all my calls .The duplex that was rented to me is so beautiful.The entire house was freshly painted.The tiles was clean with not one single spot.You would swore it was a brand new house. This is a tough business, as you constantly have bad people to deal with as renters, and bad people to rent from. Your domicile is your life, and having someone to trust is so important. Melissa and staff are great people: this is the place to start and end your search. But, if you normally set the place on fire, let the water get turned off and dont pay your bills; maybe another place may better suit your needs in real-estate.

Be careful from these lairs and racist people. I wonder such unprofessional, shallow and untrustworthy and money hungry people are surviving in real estate business. I had bad experience with Sudi Jerena/Yasuri Jerena (as she uses multiple names) the Key Real Estate Agent. This keyRealEstate Agent is highly unprofessional and unethical attitude. She sets appointments to show property for the next day and when you reach there in time, she tells this has already been rented. She did it many times with me. I came to Fort Myers and Lehigh Acres area from Naples, FL many times and the above mentioned behavior happened each time. The question arises why she did not bother to tell me all the times before I left for Leigh Acres or Fort Myers.I called the main office of Key Real Estate Avisorss office and complained about the ongoing situation. They never responded to my calls again. It seems they all are together fooling other people. I looked into this Key Real Estate Advisors/Agents Reviews in google, people had already warned about these thugs. But I looked into it late after my experience with them. Please beware of these unprofessional and lairs. I wont recommend these lairs too anyone. I also guess most good reviews have been either put by their employees or friends.

This is the worst real estate company I have ever had business with. I have had numerous problems with them throughout my one year of renting with them. The problepms range from me being completely out of water for over 24 hours (after i called the emergency line and was told by a key real estate employee that someone would respond in 30 minutes). I called repetitively and no one got back to me about my water being out for over 24 hours later.When i went to drop off my rent check, monthly, on at least 3 occcasions no one was at the office and a out to lunch sign was posted on the front door. It was 2 pm in the afternoon. Each time i waited over one hour and still nobody showed. I eventually had to leave and come back another day because of this.Lastly, the staff are rude on the phone. The staff never returned my phone calls, and i was alwasy very polite and kind. I never once became angry on the phone. They had my move out date wrong at least 3 times i called and i received messages about my move out date being sooner than it was, causing me to panic.I received my deposit back today and am extremely disappointed and shocked that key real estate kept 375.00 dollars. I left the house is great condition. All the floors were wiped and swiffered, carpets vacuumed, toilets cleaned, bathroom cleaned, refridgerator and lanai cleaned, mirrors cleaned with windex, showere cleaned, grass mowed. The only thing i left were a few pin holes in the wall... And a AC filter that needed to be changed. I am extremely disappointed Key Real Estate would keep 375.00 of my deposit to fix these minute things.Please stay away from this real estate company. I hate to be negative, but I am so very disappointed about this and feel that I have been wronged by them numerous times.

My air conditioner stopped working at 1:00 pm today. Called at 1:18 to report it she took my information and said she would put it in. At 2:30 I called back to ask if someone was going to call me or was she going to call me back she informed me that the vender would be calling me. At 4:30 still no call from anyone. So I called again and asked when or if they will be out today. She said she gave my information and they would be calling that Key Real Estate uses outside venders and they dont have control over the venders schedule. I understand that but when my house is at 85 degrees and I pay rent I would like someone to inform me as to what is happening. I know you close at 5pm so I called again at 4:44 to ask for the venders number because after 5 you would be gone. Was informed that they dont give out the venders name and number. I then asked to speak to Bonnie or someone else and she put me on hold to call the vender to find out what was going on. She said that they were going to call me after getting off the phone with her. Finally got a call from Chris at 4:48 saying they will be out somtime tonight. Still not sure when.When I had a problem with my washer last year I got the run around also. And yes they do give out venders number because Bonnie or Sarah gave the washer repairmans number to my mom. I had the same problem last summer with my air conditioner and got the run around at that time also. There isnt any communication. I have been a tenant going on 5 years now and I just signed another rental agreement maybe I shouldve reconsidered that decision.
