I cannot put into words the experience I had with Dr. Kim,Mona, Nancy and Janice. I do not know the others names that helped .I walked in for surgery a couple of days ago and they all made me feel at home, safe and reassured me that I would be fine. I expressed my fears to Mona and she literally held my hand and calmed me down. Dr. Kim has the best bed side manor and genuinely cares. He has such a sweet spirit. I had 2 other consults before him and as soon as I met him, I knew I had found my doctor.

I was in and out of there. Did my procedure that day. Dr. KIM and his nurse were very kind and informative. Dr. Kim did an amazing job for me on my finger. Took my pain away. The recovery has been great, minimal pain. Looks good. My pain is gone. Thank God for Dr. Kim!

My elderly mother for whatever reason decided that she “ needed” some plastic surgery done ... I had concerns about her age and how frail she was and was having a tough time being supportive. Dr Kim spoke with her at the consultation and expressed the same concerns. Kudos for him for not being that guy after the money without concern of her health. Dr. Michael Kim is an amazing surgeon. I had issues with trigger finger on my thumb and had extreme pain and very restricted mobility. After trying a few injections in an attempt to alleviate the condition the decision was made to move forward with a surgical solution. I am extremely happy that I had this surgery as it corrected my condition and I have regained full mobility and finally I am pain free! I highly recommend without reservation Dr. Kim, his staff and the professionals at SFI surgery center.Years ago, when I was a kid, my grandfather developed a lump on his head so I knew that I stood a decent chance of developing one on my own.At first only I noticed it but, eventually, it became obvious. The lump, by that time, was giving me trouble by preventing me from wearing my hair short. I finally decided it was time to get rid of it.I had seen examples of the work of Dr. Michael Kim, so I knew where to go to get this mass taken off the back of my head. What I didn’t know was how easy it turned out to be. I had no trouble getting an appointment. Dr. Kim and his staff were very friendly and professional. Dr. Kim was able to evaluate me efficiently and had his staff Jen, Nicole and Bianca arrange the surgery schedule that fit with mine.Within a week, I presented myself for my appointment. Lesley checked me in within minutes and I comfortably waited in the reception area watching a bit of the morning news before being invited into the surgical suite.As I was entering the operating room I saw Nancy, Director of nursing. She made me feel comfortable that my experience would be a good one. I was laid on the table, the surgical area cleaned and I was placed on a monitor.Dr Kim came in and greeted me and began working on my scalp. Most importantly, since the procedure was done under local anesthesia, he gave me plenty of local anesthetic and plenty of time for it to take effect before proceeding.Dr. Kim made quick work of the benign fat tumor and stapled the wound closed. His nursing staff (Ann?) wrapped my head with a pressure bandage. I was able to drive myself home and worked the following day without pain.Approximately 2 weeks later, the staples came out without difficulty and my wound has now completely healed with a great cosmetic effect. I can now wear my hair short with confidence.I am very happy with my experience and the cosmetic effect of the surgery.

Dr. Kim is a great doctor. I had nose surgery for skin cancer that was quite extensive and Dr Kim and his staff were excellent. He is professional, caring, compassionate and explained the procedure to me clearly. He never rushed me and always asked if I had any more questions.

Dr Kim and staff were pleasant, friendly, and comfortable. I had a cyst removed from scalp. It was painless and healed quickly.My friend also went to Dr Kim for a dog bite which left a hole in his lower cheek. It looked devastating, especially for the face. Today it is unnoticeable. I have had my lips augmented by Dr. Kim twice now and have been pleased each time! The result is always beautiful and natural because he takes care to create an aesthetically pleasing result with your specific requests in mind. Dr Kim is the man! He is the only one I trust when it comes to my face. I have never had a bad result and have been very happy every time.When it comes time to plan for a cosmetic procedure, Dr Kim is the one I want operating on me. I feel like I was butchered and regret going to Dr. Kim. I was recommended my my primary care physician to get a tiny pilar cyst removed. This cyst was only about 1/4 inch in diameter (at most) and located on the top of my head. Instead of taking his time to make a minor incision and extract the cyst, he cut out a large ~1 in x 0.5 in portion of my skin, hair and all. Then, Dr. Kim put 13 surgical staples in my head to close it up! The entire two weeks with the staples was extremely irritating and painful. Now that the staples are out, the back of my head feels even more lumpy and disfigured than when I had the cyst. I do have a photo of this but it is too graphic to post on a Google review.In the past, I had this procedure done by my primary care doctor and only had ~3-4 stitches. My last doctor took her time, ONLY removed the cyst, and the stitches were not painful at all!Additionally, even though my PCP specifically recommended me to Dr. Kim for this procedure, I had to have an initial appointment and then the actual removal appointment. At the initial appointment, Dr. Kim walked in to the room, barely glanced at my head and told me they would schedule the appointment to come in for surgery. So I had two co-pays for a specialist rate for this procedure.

Dr. Kim is compassionate and caring about his patients. He and his staff go out of their way to ease patients during any procedure. He makes time to educate patients about what to expect and answer any questions they have about process and outcomes.

Hi there I recently had Mohs surgery for removal of basal cell skin cancer.Dr. Micheal Kim did the closure for me.The spot was in a tricky location, on my upper lip. Dr. Kim created a skin graft, at 3 weeks out its healing nicely.Dr. Kim was very knowledgeable, and kept me at ease. His staff was wonderful.I recommend doctor Kim to anyone who needs closure of a wound following a Mohs surgery with their dermatologist!Not all dermatologists can do this.Dr. Kim is an expert in plastic surgery.

I have had several procedure with Dr. Kim. I had a mole removed from my nose as well as my back. I cant even tell where the excision was done. Ive had dysport on my forehead. Ive also had a breast augmentation and I couldnt be happier. Dr Kim has great bed side manners. He explained the procedure thoroughly and answered all of my questions. The day of the procedure he explained the procedure one more time and made sure I didnt have any other questions before he got started. I saw him the next day to make sure I was ok. Always professional and thorough. His staff is AMAZING! From check in, to the assistants to check out, all the girls are super friendly and very helpful.

Thank god for Dr Michael Kim. He is a great person to help the community out the way he does. When insurance would not cover the removal of a melanoma Dr Kim did it pro bono. Can anyone tell me what other surgeon would do that! Yes I think not! Thank you Dr Kim for your service!

Received referral and appointment from my PCP for my trigger finger, which is so very painful.Set up my appointment 1-1/2 weeks in advance. Nurse called week prior and, again, morning of appointment to confirm appointment time. Two hours she calls me again and informs me that Dr Kim would be leaving early for the day and could I get in earlier. I could not. When called in to reschedule and express my dissatisfaction with the last minute cancellation, nurse couldnt care less, with zero compassion.Moved the heaven and Earth to set appointment and was brushed off like a speck of annoying dust from his clothing. Dr Kim, Im pretty sure if someone canceled with me the way your office did, you would definitely have a problem with it. Shame on your staff!

Im never disappointed when I leave your office after having fillers and Dysport done. Youre the best at giving injections and the staff is so friendly.

Dr. Kim is so professional, and always has a smile. He listens to me, but wont just tell me what I want to hear. He helps me look naturally younger. I am always thrilled about a week after leaving Dr. Kims office (by then swelling is gone). 😉

Wanted an aesthetically pleasing appearance, little tucks, but am left with worst case scenarios. Only looking forward to death, as this has ruined any future. Left feeling as though I look more like a male... or perhaps just neutered? Hips can’t even keep jeans up any longer, due no curves.Do not go if you want anything other than what he wants to give you (oh can make this sooo tight). Just wanted a little tuck, enhancement to my cute shape... which pamphlet states will not change. I wanted what he called “the old way”. Instead of telling me he does not do that, or will not, he starts using words to infer that he would (right up to the OR time).I now feel grotesque with skin lapping over large scar tissue (supposed to be thin white line according to doc) to sides & the only two stretch marks specifically asked to remove highlighted up front, personal, and centered, all tied together with my buried cute belly-button he removed (which just wanted a stretch mark tucked inside) & “replaced” with a disgusting ‘replica’. NOTE: Replace does not mean move original (real) belly button back into place, it means REMOVE & replace, as skin will be pulled down so far into what feels like a fannypack 3x too tight cutting across hip bones (“old way” had straight lines to natural waistline). The old way would have pulled skin up, which is a good thing on a 50+ year old person!There is no minimally invasive surgery here, nor little tucks obviously. Absolutely devastating, as this nightmare was totally avoidable! Now it is an every day nightmare staring me in the face, as under skin (muscles, which I stated were fine!) are now so tight that it has affected health, ADL & quality of life. Disappointing, devastated, depressed... feel like an idiot for trusting another doctor :,(2nd time & I’m out). Only doctor I will ever visit again is the next Kervorkian.DO NOT have this elective surgery, be happy with who & how you are, as he will uncaringly state “Sorry, I can’t help you”. Also, “Good Luck with that” if you say you plan to sue. ***wish I could post pictures! Obviously, I could write a book on this surgical decision, it’s outcome (failure), and deceptions or what some may call communication errors of doctor. What may be the most disappointing thing is that I had told him about a bad experience with another doc who did this same thing (leaving only thing asked to be removed). I know I communicated what I wanted, as he called it “the old way”. Dont understand how doctors who do this can sleep at night.*Gave a star, as he is a likeable man under any other circumstance.
