My elder mom took her rv in with low miles like 58 k and they kept it for 3 months racking up the bills knowing she needed it to live in it because they sold house and needed something reliable to move from Florida to Tennessee. The bill came to a staggering 41,000$ + 3 months. Well it made it 300 miles and had more issues than before she visited the supposed trust worthy dealership, leaving her stranded and unable to get fixed over holiday weekend. Hundreds of dollars later in rentals she is still stranded. Thanks to Cummins of Fort Meyers! Service department won’t answer any phone calls nor return a call!

The service was excellent and everyone was very very helpful and very respectful I would recommend if you have a problem with any item that they work on I would take it nowhere else but Cummins.

Spent well all over $20,000 with this place having them completely go through my engines hoses etc. on my Boat and have had and still have nothing but problems. Oil leaks, Coolant leaks and worst of all they left my motor mount loose on my starboard engine that vibrated so bad I had to spend another $5,000 to replace my bent shaft! I cannot get Ben to respond back as I still have a coolant leak! Spent all spring summer fixing their problems and now Almost a year later I still cannot use my boat.

The staff at Cummins is the best! I had an emergency with my generator and they got me in and back on the road the same day. They always work to accommodate. Big thanks to Art in the office and John in the shop. Both professional and courteous. And extremely qualified, adding more confidence for the customer. 5 Stars!!

Called and asked to have a fuel leak repaired as we needed to leave ASAP for a funeral. Art said come in and we will get you in. I arrived at 10 am and was repaired and out by noon. Great service Thanks so much fr the quick serviceSteve King 2017 Winnebago Journey

Went in with an Onan generator that was running great but producing no AC power. I was prepared for a lengthy diagnosis process and expensive repairs or a completely new generator if the repair process was more than half the value of the new generator.We got in at 7:30AM and were shown to a very comfortable waiting room with water, cupcakes, WiFi, TV and comfortable couches. I was ready and comfortable for a half day wait and a $1000 diagnosis. Having air conditioning off grid is pretty important.Half an hour later the service manager comes back in and theyre done. They found the issue. A hard to access circuit breaker in the genset was fried.A $44 replacement was ordered, I was shown how to put it in and we were on our way.The people working here are so nice. Really good people. They have your best interest at heart and make recommendations to get you to your goals the most efficient way possible. Theyre not trying to add as many billable hours as possible. They solve the problems efficiently and well.Probably one of the best repair shops Ive ever visited for any type of repair.

Wow what a pleasant experience …above and beyond customer service…very professional…Are just a few of the things I can say about my visit to Cummins Power South, Fort Myers on April 9th 2015. Before I made the appointment for service I investigated all of the authorized service centers listed on the Cummins web site for my area, Cummings Power South was my last stop and right off the bat I could tell this place was different than the others I had visited, I arrived at lunch time and Art (Service Manger) was ready to leave for lunch but greeted me with a smile and took the time to answer all my questions and even printed out a maintenance schedule for my RV…and this was just to set a appointment.The day I came in for service I had added additional items to be checked and as a result needed parts they did not have in stock. They took the time to locate the parts locally so that I would be able to complete my service in one day and not have to come back. I had driven the RV there and and did not have a car so Larry (Branch Manager) drove me to pick up the parts.Cameron (Tech) was very patient with me and took the time to answer all of my questions.This is my first RV and I have had my cars serviced before but I have never seen this level of Customer Service and professionalism EVER…As a result of this great customer care I experienced that day I have recommended Cummins Power South Fort Myers to all of my RV friends.Thank you again for making this a pleasant experience.

Arrived in Ft Myers last week with a Cummins Onan 5500 on my motor home. We have had problems with this unit since we bought the motor home, and a few shops have taken a shot at solving the intermittent shutdown issue. I posted a repair request on the Cummins website, at I was contacted by Cummins Sales and Service (Ft Myers) within an hour. We set up an appointment, and arrived this morning. The technician went to work immediately, isolating the problem to a faulty carburetor. He replaced the carburetor, and the generator is now purring along.

Tried to get parts ordered several dif times. The heavier guy at front desk is clueless, forgetful, and simply unqualified to do this job! Not getting the parts needed causes more down time for me which equals losing money!! No one offered a discount for poor service! And by poor service im talking three four attempts to order a part that they ended up having in stock the whole time! REDICULOUS

On Tuesday, February 9th, 2016, I contacted Cummins Ft. Myers, FL Parts Department and spoke to a salesperson by the name of D--- and placed an order of four items. Needed to get a loaded broken-down truck back on the road. I was assured and quoted for next day shipping for items and was told it would be there around 11 A.M. Wednesday, February 10th, 2016, I headed to Ft. Myers to pick up parts, and after driving twenty miles, I decided to call and check if they had arrived. D--- was not available, so I spoke to the other salesperson who informs me that parts had not arrived and that he would call me right back to check status. Thirty minutes pass by. He calls and explains to me that the order had not been processed and that he really apologizes and he would waive the shipping cost and place the order for next-day again (dont really care if they charge me for shipping as long as I get it). He assures me I would have parts by noon on Thursday (at this point, I am fuming). Thursday, February 11th, 2016, 12:30 P.M. I call Cummins to check arrival of my parts. D--- answers the phone. Mr. P, I have received three out of four items. The fourth item has been sorted through Belgium. It will not be here until Monday or Tuesday. WHAT KIND OF B.S. IS THIS? Lies, lies, lies, lies. It is costing me over $500 a day to keep a load undelivered, but they dont care about customers. Mind that every phone call that was made came from me to them. They didnt even have the courtesy to call me and inform me of the problem. I assure you that from now on, if I have to buy parts for this engine, it will not be from them.

Absolute worst parts department! Call and call and call, no one ever answers the phone! Its a shame that this is the only Cummins representation in the area! Between billing incorrectly on quantities, slow ordering process and the extreme lack of communication, this place is terrible.

The truth is that it is a headache to go to the CUMMINS, the staff for nothing attentive, and very rude, not even greeting you, and very bad quality in your spare parts.
