After speaking to Steve Rietbergen and going over all the details of the American Business Broker’s agreement in addition to existing obligations to the prior broker I contracted with American Business Brokers and Steve Rietbergen in September of 2018. Through their efforts we closed on the sale of my business on April 1st of 2019.I found Steve Rietbergen a professional in every sense of the word, straight forward, detail oriented and committed to results. Steve got the business per-approved for SBA financing within weeks of the listing, something the prior broker failed to do in the 18 months prior. Hestressed the importance of accuracy of all information: Profit & Loss Statements, Equipment Inventories, Employee Payroll and Tenure information, Existing Contracts and Lease information. Through his contacts he assisted with the transfer of the Liquor License as well asother permits. The sale was complicated by the fact that the existing lease had expired and until a new lease was in place, there could be no sale.
