I found out that the news press has been charging me for over a year for a subscription that we canceled when we moved. I called to cancel and I was repeatedly refused to be allowed to do this and pressured on the phone to keep the subscription at a house we no longer live at. It took me three calls to customer service and I am still not sure that the subscription is canceled. I thought only Comcast and loan sharks operated like this. Shady business, news-press! Someone should do a story on the robberies you are committing.

Please, hire a proofreader. Too many grammar errors. Too many spelling errors. Too many punctuation errors. I applaud what you are covering, however, I can not accept bad writing. Journalists are held accountable for good investigative skills as well as quality writing. This has been going on for a long time.

This was just a nostalgic stop for me at the newspaper which no longer has presses and a very small staff. Its where I began my journalism career. no reason to really stop by unless you have the same feelings that I do and the history.

Low class gossip newspaper, once used to be influential in South-West Florida. In 2010-2013 their best reporters left after being forced to go on furloughs due to budget cuts. Now the papers reporters give their own comments to their own articles to create cheap sensationalism around non-news-worthy events.

While the content of the newspaper is good, we are very frustrated with the quality of the delivery service. At least once a month we are skipped. When it rains, our newspaper is often soping wet. On Sunday mornings there is an automated answering service when we call to report that we have been skipped again. The service will state that a newspaper will be delivered but that never happens.

Wish my home delivery rates would stop going up, people who stop and start their subscription get much better rate. I have had home delivery for 11 years with no discounts.

Cannot cancel without talking to a representative. Tried to cancel subscription online through my online account, by chat and by email. Called many times wait time 35 to 50 minutes, left message/number to call back and never received a call back. I guess Im stuck with this paper!!! Will need to go to the office in person to cancel.
