I have been using this business for several months. I’ve waited to submit a review so that I would have several experiences to base my thoughts on. I am very satisfied with their service and the repairs that they have done for me. I will continue to use this business, and will not be taking my car anywhere else. The prices are fair in the service is excellent. No complaints from me.

I have never heard of a mechanic doing this, but they first assisted me by picking up my vehicle while I was at work! Then, instead of going in to replace costly parts on the issue, they did further research in finding there was only a minor part necessary. Their proactive measures saved me hundreds of dollars! They communicated with me throughout the day and when they were finished; they delivered my vehicle back to me at my job without additional fees!!!They were knowledgeable, honest, and willing to go the extra mile for my continued loyalty. Their service is by far one of the best experiences I’ve had from a place of business. Thank you Griffin’s!!

I have used Griffin on numerous occasions and have been pleased every time. The work is always done well and nothing is done without first notifying me which I like. The reception and all staff have been awesome and knowledgeable in their respective area, I will be using Griffin for the foreseeable future and I never have to worry if the work being done is being done right, I just know.

I asked what their rates where, was told they couldnt give a quote till vehicle was seen. Took the vehicle down for the appointment to get said quote, waited till noon the following day and called to see. They were working on it. I went by after work to see and found it done so i got stuck with a bill. Drilled out 3 bolts and replaced 7 foot of pipe for $450. That to me is ridiculous. I also took in my old pipe so they could use as reference to finally get home an hour away and my pipe that i was going to be keeping for scrap was missing from my car.

Good work but too expensive. My break light was out and had water in it. They quoted me $300 to fix it. I went to OReillys and my husband fixed it for $41.

We were very satisfied with the service at Griffin Muffler. We needed tires and an oil change. We were hearing a sound in the rear brakes, and asked them to check it out. We just had them replaced at a dealership about eight weeks prior. Nanette contacted the dealership and let them know about the damage to to rear brakes and the dealership agreed to pay them for the work. Nanette went the extra mile to help make the repairs right. My car now rides like a dream! We are new to the area and will definitely be using them for our repair needs as long as we are here. Their office receptionist and staff are so polite and friendly. We commend them on a job well done. Your hard work is evident. Thank you!

Had my dual exhaust installed, found out my catalytic converters was out. Had made a quick appointment on the spot and they had about my whole exhaust changed and fixed in less then 2 days. Amazing customer service and treatment. A great business I will take all of my vehicles there for exhaust now on! Great to work with and relative and affordable prices. Can’t beat it

I was impressed by the care and concern since I was not a local customer but a visitor from Arizona. Griffen owner took the extra time to check on a questionable battery for me and the employees were friendly and knowledgeable of the area. While I waited for my KIA Soul to be maintenance, I went and explored the places recommended within walking distance. I highly recommend Griffin Muffler for service and value

Living in a small town that takes cash payments and hand writes receipts in the majority of businesses here... this little auto shop surprised me. They were very thorough. They took photos of every inch of the car, even showing photos as they measured all fluids, ran tests, etc. and they had everything documented online immediately me to review. They were very communicative during the process, even sending text reminders. In addition to being timely and reasonably priced, they had excellent customer service. I will be returning for all future vehicle needs!

Great service..

Our brakes were grinding and grabbing. We were anxious about going anywhere and only have one vehicle. We are from out of state, temporally staying in Nauvoo. When I called in the morning they were so nice and said they would try to work us in that day. This was a Friday. A friend followed me to their shop so I could leave it. They said as soon as a bay opened, they’d get it in. Two mechanics worked on it to get it done. By 5:30 that evening we had new brakes! They also checked the car for any other issues and everything looked good. I have never dealt with kinder people! They took photos of the damaged parts and documented what they found-We were super impressed!! Thankyou😊

Terrific service. I have little trouble getting back and forth and they make sure they got my car in runaway had the tires put on everything done that needs to be done and back to me in a jiffy. On top of a good service theres wonderful personalities at that garage I have them at the top of my list for car repairs because I trust them to do a good job.

Owner is a good person who tries to take care of you and your car. Quick service and good response at updating you on your vehicle and exactly whats wrong with it.

Everyone at Griffin were fantastic, helpful and very nice. Cleanest auto shop I have ever been in. The staff bent over backwards to get me in on short notice, saved me money on work I thought I needed (based on the word of another shop), set me up with a loaner so I wouldnt be late for a doctors appointment, and still gave me the hands down best report and service I can ever remember getting.Going anywhere else is downright silly. They were nice, informative, and easy to work with. We were pleased with their service. Plus, they dont talk down to women and we didnt feel that they were trying to rip us off. They consulted with us before doing any extra work and they told us what was necessary to have done at the time versus what could wait. We felt taken care of and felt like the staff was honest.

Im starting a new job and the team made sure the car was tuned up and ready to handle heavy traffic. They were very knowledgeable and explained the options before I decided if I should take the cheapest option. No pressure and everyone was nice. Recommend them for all your needs. 2 yr warranty for all their services...not many mechanics do that.

Had a Pre Purchase Inspection done and it was easy as can be. They not only send you links while the inspection is done they take detailed pictures! This was a great experience.

Griffin Muffler & Brake is awesome! I just moved to town and found them here on Google. They had my car in and out very quickly (within 6 hours), and they were very upfront and honest about the work being done on my car. They have a wonderful texting system that sends you reports on your car so you can easily see all the changes and charges.I would recommend them to anyone!

I scheduled an oil change and asked for an estimate, gave the gentlemen the year, make, and model. He estimated me just around $45. I asked for an estimate on my brakes which he refused to give me because he said it wouldn’t be accurate without looking at the brakes. I said fine. When we picked up my car from the oil change it was at about $80... almost twice as much as the estimate. When questioned about it they said it was because the make and model requires “special oil” (synthetic- which I knew but had previously always just purchased myself for $30). So he refused to give me an estimate on my brakes in fear of giving me the wrong estimate, then he gave me the wrong estimate for my oil change anyways. What’s worse is they didn’t even notify me of their error, they just did the change anyways. Thankfully the extra $40 could be spared this paycheck, but that’s not always the case.

I was there on vacation with a sudden mechanical problem. They took my car in without an appointment and had it repaired in a good amount of time and at a fair price. Service was very friendly and professional. Thanks guys!

This is probably the friendliest and cleanest auto repair shop in the tri-state area. They go above and beyond with the complementary inspection and the rates are very fair. I highly recommend this shop.

My first experience with Griffin was good. Dual exhaust on an old truck. I wanted extra hangers and a particular sound. They did what I asked and then some. VERY RARE.
