I bought a groupon for 78$ hair perm and cut. and after sending a picture of my hair and speaking about deducting the 78 from the 150 which was agreed upon the hair dresser turned me away after washing my hair and i left with wet hair untouched. i would honestly give this place zero stars if i could. and i didn’t get my money back on groupon either. very highly upset and don’t recommend anyone to go there seeing as i was the only client in the building

This Beauty Salon is a hidden gem, staff is very professional and caring. I felt the positive energy in this place. I wish I can give six stars for the services. I highly recommend the services offered by this salon.

This place is a nice place to have a good conversation, the hairdresser is quite entertaining and the owner is very nice.

Richard is such a great guy, my hairdresser is Pat and she is the best I have ever had. My highlights and cuts are always perfect. Very friendly atmosphere too.

I’m new to Ft. Lauderdale, in my research on Google, I saw nice reviews on Richard’s salon. So I decided to go see the shop, sitting outside was a women named Marge, who encouraged me to walk in and speak to Richard. Marge said he was wonderful, she been going to him for 25 years. I was greeted by Alma who was so delightful and she introduced me to Richard. From the moment I met him, I was so warmly greeted and knew he would be great. I came back to get my hair colored and cut. Upon coming back, Alma greeted me by my name and Richard introduced me to the rest of the staff who were all friendly but not phony. At the salon, Angelo gave me a wonderful shampoo and he was so pleasant. Nettie was another hairdresser, who was friendly as well. She took the time to come over and talk to me. The staff were very friendly. Richard was fabulous and I loved my color and cut!

I have been a long term client at Richards Galt Ocean Salon and have been getting haircuts for many years. You must go see Nettie the best hairdresser in all of Broward County, she is the best at coloring, at fades, or just a basic trim. You will not be disappointed. Fantastic service, ambience. I can not say enough good things about the salon and specifically Nettie. My hair is thick and wavy, not easy to cut so I know a good haircut when I get one.....
