I cannot begin to tell you how much fun my friends and I had on this vessel, and with the crew! I had always wanted to go sailing but never really had the chance to. In celebration of my 21st birthday, I decided there was no better time. Being aboard the MaxAna, ( such a stunning boat by the way ) my group of 12 friends and I had *The Greatest* experience. Im normally not one to write reviews, but this trip was so memorable, I felt that it was the least I could do.From boarding, til the second my foot touched land again, the crew made my group and I feel special and treated us like guests and friends. All with the upmost respect. I had brought a cooler with some food and things to grill (the MaxAna has a grill and a stove, a feature that was really useful), and the captain and crew helped us board all of it on (as well as off) the ship. With me being a curious person, I had a lot of questions about how the vessel worked, and the captain was nothing but happy to literally show me the ropes, and all the latest technologies. Being able to see the ins and outs and playing captain was one of the highlights for me.On the trimaran, the sailing couldnt have been smoother. The feeling of being out and secluded on the beautiful sparkling water, nothing was better. There was no loud noise coming from the boat itself at all, other than the music my friends had put on. None of my friends were seasick, even the ones that were prone to be. The wings were ideal to walk on or even take a nap and soak in the sun. There was plenty of space for all of us. Once we had arrived at our destination in the water, a member of the crew threw an inflatable tube in the water, thus commencing everyone lunging into the crystal waves.After a long swim, a few of us had decided to hang out inside the cabin of the boat. It was perfectly air conditioned, comfy and pristinely clean, a great spot to play a card game to wind down a bit.A few of my friends brought aboard their cameras, and felt no hesitation to snap way. Before I knew it, a mini-birthday-photo shoot began, capturing endless smiles and memories.There was even a seat at the very front of the boat that made me feel like I was on top of the world. The photos from that spot were incredible. Posted them instantly on my social media.I know this is a bit long, but honestly, its well-deserved. The whole experience exceeded my expectations. This is a mini getaway that my friends cant stop talking about and definitely one that I cant wait to do again. Thank you Scarlet Sails, see you soon! :)

Couldnt have asked for a better boat trip! The crew was very nice and welcoming and the boat itself was in pristine condition. No problems occurred and it was a seamlessly beautiful experience to watch the sunset! Great route of sail that provided me and my friends with stunning views and a relaxing time!

From start to finish this trip was amazing. The docking location was beautiful and there were two parking garages very close, which made it very convenient. The sail boat was very spacious considering that we were a big group. We were able to enjoy the scenery, have time to jump into the ocean and even grill up some burgers and hot-dogs.The captain and the co-captain were very courteous too. Because of its prime location once it was over we headed to Fort Lauderdale to continue the fun day. The day went by so fast, it was so worth it.

I cannot recommend this boat more highly! I planned a bachelorette party for my best friends bridal party and we were absolutely blown away! The boat is stunning! We were able to bring our own food and drinks on board. The Captain was great and very knowledgeable. He brought us to a fun sand bar and cruising down the intercoastal. We are already planning our next trip! Next time we are going to splurge for the 8 hour charter to spend more time on this beautiful boat :)

We had an amazing time sailing on this incredible boat last week in the Bahamas. Everything was perfect. The crew went above and beyond to make sure we had the best time and all together exceeded all of my expectations. I highly recommend this everyone. A++

The worst charter experience ever! The crew treated us horribly and so did the customer service. They completely lied to us about what the experience was going to be like.I wanted ocean time, instead I got stuck in a river with a thousand other boats and people playing loud music. Extremely un pleasant. On top of it all, the owner discarded what I requested and didn’t care about my experience and feedback.Save yourself the time and money. There are hundreds of other Boat Chartering companies that are infinitely better... Do a little extra research and in the worst case, you are better off in a water taxi that will only cost you $38.I have proof and evidence of what the entire experience was like.

We just sailed on this Charter for New Years trip from Bimini to Fort Lauderdale. It was an amazing time! Great crew, who took great care of us and we didnt have to do a thing. Very relaxing. Impressed how stable and smooth the boat performed on the ocean. Highly Recommend and will be back.

Chartered this great boat for a half day and absolutely loved it! We had a group of 12 girls for a bachelorette party. Jorge, our captain, was so nice and had a great play list! Would highly recommend this for any group trip! So much better than squeezing on one of those boats with a bunch of other tourist groups.

All around Scarlet Sails was an amazing experience. The best captain and staff to offer, an enjoyable sailing experience and a time to let loose and have fun! This comes highly recommended for a girls trip!

Save your money and time, chartering this boat will be the same as being on the water taxi that cost $38 vs. $800..Email me and I will send you the 3 hour long video so you can see for yourself how bad it will be… Do your research and you will find way better ‘Charter Boat’ companies that will actually treat you with the respect you deserve as a client and with great customer service at half the price. Simply google a little more..As a public speaker who has been traveling the world for the last 25 years leading seminars to over a million people (300,000 of which are in Florida)... 90% of the services I love I recommend to all my followers, but the 10% such as this case, I rigorously communicate to and advise my followers to not waste their time and money on such a horrible experience/service..Throughout my 25 years of traveling the world, I have been chartering DOZENS of Sail Boats throughout different parts of the world including in Ft.Lauderdale.Do NOT waste your time or money here... This is by FAR the worst ‘charter’ experience ever....We reserved this charter with simple specifications... Which they agreed to comply with, but then LIED about the whole experience. They didn’t fulfill on ANY of the simple things we requested. We requested to go out into the ocean to actually sail in the ocean… Instead, they kept us stranded against our request in the inter-coastal river with massive amounts of boats…Even worst was having to listen to the loud radio transmissions of the boats communicating with each other and no matter how many times I asked them to turn it down, they did not..We requested to be able to put music to cover the radio transmissions and they said I had to do it myself.. Since they did not even understand their own dashboard .. so I had to spend 30 minutes googling their system and training myself to connect my phone...Ultimately we were charged $800 for being in line with other boats in the inter-coastal... And Half of that time was spent in the overcrowded inter coastal river waiting for bridges to open....There was ZERO kindness from the crew...We requested privacy, and no chatting from the crew (even on an Uber ride you can request that) given I am a ‘celebrity’, the captain would not stop interrogating me and trying to flirt with me while I was POLITELY declining his interrogations and attempts to flirt. Until I had to literally go into the cabin to be left in peace..You will see in my video the worst service on earth!!.We asked to return after an hour of their terrible service and doing exactly what we told them not to do, but they intentionally took 2hrs trying to bring us back (so they could charge us) saying they had to wait for the bridge.

Had a great time sailing in the Bahamas last week. The boat was even better than expected and crew could not have done a better job. Highly recommend!!

Everything from booking with Kelly to the day of service with Captain George, John, and Max was fantastic! We chartered the boat to cruise around and spent the end of the trip hanging out at a local sandbar where a bunch of other boats was hanging out. If I am in Ft. Lauderdale area I will definitely look to do this again! The crew was so good to drop us off at the dock at our Airbnb, top notch experience that I would recommend to anyone!

We booked a 4 hour trip for a group of 9 ladies for a bachelorette party and had a wonderful time! They easily accommodated a last minute date change and were incredibly hospitable! The entire crew was so friendly and helpful. They helped us and all of our supplies on and off the boat. Captain George had a playlist ready and we were easily able to access the Bluetooth speaker to play music. We brought plenty of drinks and food onto the boat and the cabin was very spacious. The boat itself is very beautiful and well maintained. We had a few ladies experience some sea sickness and they were quick to respond and assist, making it enjoyable for all. They worked hard to serve us and make sure it was the best experience for the bride to be and her squad. I would definitely go out in the water with them again.

I’ve decided to treat my kids to sailboat ride for my son’s birthday. My friends recommended Scarlet Sails Charters.We were wowed by the beautiful boat. It is very unusual and has three hauls. It’s called trimaran as I was told. Apparently I’m not the only one impressed by the looks of this yacht, spectators on shore and on the other boats were very impressed too, waved and cheered as we sailed by.We sailed off from downtown Fort Lauderdale surrounded by other boats and beautiful mansions and the trip to the ocean was so spectacular.As we entered the open ocean the captain announced that the wind is favorable and it’s a good day for sailing but my kids were hell-bent on fishing and were bagging the captain to fish instead of sailing. Captain was nice enough to comply and drove the boat to a fishing site where kids had fun fishing and snorkeling. In the mean time captain inflated a towable device and tied it behind the boat. Needless to say we all had fun with it. While my kids were ether swimming or fishing I was served some chilled Chablis with cheese and fruits and was enjoying myself.On the way back the captain still wanted to show us want a boat can do and raised the sails. Kids got to participate in the process. It was very exciting! Now they can’t stop talking about it.In short: the boat is beautiful in and out. The cabin is airconditioned. There is plenty of room on the nets stretched between the hauls for all kinds of fun (once you get used to walking on them). Captain is very nice and goes out of his way to please everyone onboard. Kids friendly. I do recommend.

Maxana is a great sailboat. Spotless, super stable even in today’s 17+ kts. A MUST do when in Fort Lauderdale. Whether you’re a novice or a pro, this boat is great for anyone.

I have hired Scarlet Sails Charters for a daily sail trip on my girlfriend’s birthday in March 2018.I have seen the boat before docked in New River and it looks most unusual and impressive. I was really curious to see how she would sail out in the open ocean.About the boat: It’s a trimaran – something you don’t see every day. It is almost as wide as it is long. Everything on the boat looks brand new from wood to upholstery to curtains. As we traveled down the river and further down the Intracoastal all eyes were on us. People stare and wave. What a great feeling to be the center of attention. Captain proudly showed us all the brand new the latest and the greatest electronics that seem to be everywhere. Once we got out to the open ocean we all got to see the well choreographed ballet of setting sales. Couple of our friends volunteered to give a hand to try it out for themselves and were rewarded by being allowed to steer the vessel. The boat sails expectedly fast (it even looks like it’s built for speed) and unexpectedly smooth. I have been around all kinds of boats for the last 25 years and I have never had such a smooth ride. Trimaran configuration really works.About the trip: There is plenty of room on the boat. The entire areas between the hull and both outriggers can be used for tanning and walking about. You may get splashed occasionally but it is all a part of fun. All cabins are air-conditioned and very nicely appointed. It is a luxury yacht after all inside and out. There are two dining tables that were available to us. One on the main deck right in front of the helm (this area has a full canopy and full shade all day long) the other one is in the galley bellow and it is much larger. Boat has full kitchen stacked with just about everything and full set of china and utensils. So we had snacks and drinks all through the trip. The boat is also equipped with a real grill. We did not use it but the captain told us that trolling fishing is a possibility on any trip and the catch can be grilled right away.About the crew: Very friendly, knowledgeable and professional. From the getgo they have treated us a friends and guests. They have helped us to get onboard and helped with all our belongings. The best part was that they are very proud of the boat and eagerly show everything and let us participate in the boat steering and trimming of the sales when we felt like it. So we had some fun learning the ropes (literally).Overall: We all had an experience of a lifetime and keep telling my friends (those that I could not invite with us on our first trip) about how great it was. I will do it again in a heartbeat.
