My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our boating experience. We rented the Robalo 2120 Center Console with 225 hp for a 1/2 day excursion on March 3, 2018. We decided to captain our own boat, and although we are not extremely experienced boaters, the boat is solid and makes cruising around easy and enjoyable. Also, Steve took the time to explain our route options and the boat set up to us. Overall, a great experience!

I have taken several lessons from Steve and am very happy with the whole process. Steve is an excellent teacher and a very nice guy. Even though I am a woman and was clueless about anything to do with boats, Steve was very patient and NOT condescending at all.

I’ve used Steve many times to rent one of his boats. He’s a solid, honest, no-nonsense chap, and always accommodates me if he can. Anyone griping about his rates / dinging his props clearly has no experience owning a boat. They are very expensive, maintenance nightmares. I would not recommend this unprofessional boat rental, Steven the owner asked us for a $500 cash deposit plus the rental of the boat and said that there was a $35 per hour for mileage/gas/maintenance, but did not tell us it was a min of 3 hours. When we came back to the marina, he said that we had hit something with the engine propeller when we did not hit anything, when my husband had taken pictures of the propeller before we went out on the water. Ends of being that he took our deposit ($400 because that is all the cash I had vs $500). So bottom line he charged us for one blade of the propeller $75 plus a 3 hour min of the gas and maintenance. This was a total rip-off. He insisted that we hit something when my husband knows what he is doing and of course all of this in cash....complete ripoff....

Do not rent from this guy ... Only takes cash 500..deposits!!! Which i thought was weird Said i scuffed up prop which is plastic!! I called police and he toof off immediately.. Told me good luck ... Plus he told me after that their is a maintenance charge?? Be careful boat does not look like pictures!!!.

My brother, his girlfriend, my girlfriend and I went on a boat tour with Marky J. When we met we hit it off immediately very laid back and fun guy. We took a tour of the various mansions and yachts/superyachts. He was very knowledgeable and handled the boat very well. Marky had games set up for us “sandbar horseshoe” and a water mat. Sandbar horse is one of the most fun games I’ve ever played. It even rained and that caused no issues and contributed to the fun. All in all if you go to anyone else you probably wouldn’t have as much fun. So anytime you want a tour around Fort Lauderdale or anywhere else he’s willing to go, go with Marky J I promise you won’t regret it!

Steve was very helpful with information on where to go while renting his boat and explaining how to operate it. We had a blast driving up the intercostal and anchoring at the sandbar!
