Knowledgeable professional friendly staff. Very competitive prices.
Great service and reasonably priced.
Not only do they do nice work, but they are polite, friendly, and easy to deal with. I really appreciate the communication and the effort they make to live up to their commitment in price, schedule, and performance. Will use them again, highly recommended.
Very happy with their work.
With regards to some of the negative reviews... Ive been going here for years. 1 thing to keep in mind this place does mainly dealership work. They are not set up like some of the bigger aftermarket places with big showrooms. There work is top notch and they are very knowledgeable about the gear they sell.
Nice people
Professional enough on the phone, but their prices are highly inflated. Shop around before going here! Be aware: They have HIGH prices. A job costing $169 around town, the same exact process, United Auto Radio & AC quoted about 100 dollars more = $250! is insane - especially when I am bringing you all of the equipment and parts.Tint World has awesome prices, and great service! I recommend calling up Jarel at Tint World (W. Sunrise Blvd) 95four62one1499 (tell him the guy with the 4Runner remote start sent you!)
This place is a scam my radio was cutting in & out they told me it would cost $45 to check it I agreed & brung my car over they checked it and told me I had to replace the amp they told me for labor & replacement it would be $1k for a used amp & $3k for a new amp IDK WTF TYPE OF DRUGS THEYRE TAKING BUT THEY NEED TO STAY OFF IT then I asked again how much does it cost to check the radio they rose the price to $75 so right there I got them in a lie when they initially told me $45 i then told them i would buy the amp & Ill have them install it they didnt want to do that what type of business doesnt charge labor if u bring in the parts yourself?? So I picked up my car paid the original $45 to check it & left I went on Ebay & got a used amp for $80 & had it installed for $100 ! So I paid $180 compared to the $1k they were asking they are straight scam artists overprice everything & lies !! Stay away youve been warned !
Excellent service. 1st Class people
I had to upgrade the technology on my 2005 Cadillac XLR to Bluetooth. Although pricey, (Over $500) they did an amazing job. The sound is even better than before. Very neat and professional. I am very happy as I am able to take calls hands free stream music.
United Auto Radio has it all together, excellent job and I have been extremely happy with the work they completed!
We dealt with Eddie at United Auto Radio. Our Mercedes Sprinter was in need of warranty repairs and we also informed him we wanted to install a new back up camera at the same time. At the time we spoke to him, we asked for a cost on installing the back up camera, to which he advised us to bring it in and he would discuss the cost with us. The fact that he refused to give us a price before we took our vehicle there should have been a sign, but after repeatedly asking and receiving the answer that it would be very reasonable we traveled to his location with the thought that he wouldnt try to rip us off.The building that United Auto Radio & AC is located in has cages and gates everywhere .... if that gives you any inclination about the type of neighborhood they are in. The inside of the office is disgusting with old worn out furniture and no display items or electronics. There is no place to sit or wait for work or even discuss anything. They took us outside to discuss the work needed and to make a list of items needing attention. No uniformed employees....essentially a very shady looking place. Eddie pulled up a picture of the Sprinter camera and printed it off for us when we arrived at his location, while explaining that this was the one they have used in the past many times. (If you have used it many times, why could you not have provided a verbal estimate on the phone when asked?) We were contacted by Jody via phone stating the cost would be $600.00, after we had already dropped the vehicle off. Having done some research on our own before bringing the car in, we asked them why they would charge us so much when the item is available for purchase on multiple online sites for $99.00 - $150.00. We had already gotten a price from another shop for $300.00 but they were unable to take our vehicle in right away so thats why we contacted United.Jody put Eddy on the phone and he said he would just do the warranty work if we didnt want him to do the camera for that price. Not wanting to go to multiple locations and have multiple techs working on our vehicle, we told him we were just going to come back and pick it up to bring to the other shop. He became argumentative and told me we had already authorized the work based on us dropping the vehicle off to him. They had our vehicle less than 30 minutes and we never signed anything agreeing to the work. We requested the release of our vehicle to which we were told we had FOUR minutes to pick it up. Midwest Mercedes then arranged for the pick up of the vehicle.TLDR: United Radio is very un-professional. They price gouge and lure you in to secure your vehicle without an honest representation of pricing estimates. Located in a very bad area that made us feel unsafe and worried about our vehicle. This shop is definitely not a place to bring any high end vehicles or to hire for advanced work. Read the other reviews where multiple customers went through similar experiences. Stay away from United Radio in Fort Lauderdale!
Alfred Jr. graves did a good job he was able to fix my AC in a good price I highly recommend him !!
They solved radio problems on 2 of my cars. Could not be happier. Their prices are fair.
Nice people. Took my car when I first got it because they installed the Navi System in my car at the dealership was having a sensor issue.. They replaced the entire unit as it was under warranty. Fast forward 2 years and now that Navi System is having Led issues took it and since its still under warranty they ordered a new one and only Wil need to cover the labor charge.. Glad that they can fix it..
Bought a 2015 Tahoe last year and the GPS has been displaying inaccurately ever since I got it. Ive taken the truck into the dealer 3 times now, only to be told that theyve started a Ticket and are waiting for GM to provide a solution . One Chevy dealer even told me that they found water in the antenna. I did internet research to find that many Tahoe, Yukon, & Escalade owners are having the same issue. The screen displays GPS with a red X across it and the screen shows that Im miles off course.Through my dealer contacts, I called United and was told its a common design flaw that the factory antennas for GPS, XM radio, & ON STAR interferes with each other on a lot of GM cars & trucks. United Auto Radio & AC installed a separate GM GPS antenna and it now works perfect. Wish GM dealer could have resolved this a year ago
Took my 89 944S2 to United for a 2nd opinion on the AC system. The first place (a Porsche specialist) I went told me everything had to be replaced ($2,700). United took a look, fixed the crack in the compressor and recharged the system. $300 and 45min later I have freezing cold AC. I would highly recommend United.
Great place to have your car radio fixed.
Went to tint world and they blew up my air bags- so maybe they charge a bit extra but at least they know what they are doing, there is a reason why they are so busy -its because they dont screw your car upthey fixed the botched install cut out all the butt connectors and soldered the wires on my radio!
