I was referred by a Sales person at Banyan at KFXE as I was investigating the purchase of an aircraft and I wanted to know who was the best to train me. I contacted Charlie Berichi and had a great conversation with him. As a mature student, running a business as a day job, I wanted great but relaxed training and I needed some flexibility around my schedule that can change quickly. All I can say is that the airplanes, instructors, administrator, owner, A&P, and the general environment have all exceeded my high expectations. I should have my PPL shortly (started in July), started Instruments training and expect to be a student at the school for a long while yet as I pursue all certificates that I aspire to gain. There are many flight schools in South Florida but for the discerning person who wants great planes maintained to the highest level with great instructors, very few schools, if any, will favorably compare to Berichi Aviation. I am a VERY satisfied student.

I recently had to come down to the FBO and do a bit of filming in an aircraft for a graduate school application, and Berichi was more than happy to have us. Extremely friendly staff, beautiful facilities, and great looking airplanes. Their whole fleet was brand new! Highly recommend this school for anyone looking to get into flying, brush up on their abilities, or pursuing a new certification.

Berichi Aviation in Fort Lauderdale, FL is the best commercial pilot training school in the USA—hands down. They train pilots that go to the airlines and they also train business owners, doctors, and lawyers that buy airplanes and fly around with their families, and for business after completing flight training. Berichi Aviation is the only school in South Florida that I could find with a 100% safety record. When you get there, you quickly see why. Their airplanes are all brand new and the instructors are all high speed American pilots that are “attention to detail.” It’s a paramilitary run operation. All the instructors partake in recurrent internal training as well. When I was there, they had 8 airplanes and 10 instructors. The operation is not too big so it doesn’t have the faults that larger “Walmart like” schools such as ATP, American Flyers, or Embry Riddle has (large corporate schools are like factories-every student is just a number and most instructors are extremely young and have little flight experience with no commercial pilot work experience or professional pilot background—just time building at the students expense). Berichi Aviation Instructors are handpicked, you have to be top of your class to work there, they only hire the best. They have accelerated programs for students (30 day PPL, 21 day IFR, 10 day multi-engine, etc) but also accommodate folks that are doing it for fun that just come in twice a week for a few hours. I’ve been at the school with friends that have trained there and I’ve come along for the flights and classroom sessions. Charlie Berichi is my favorite instructor. He’s hilarious and we had so much fun flying with him on stage checks. His debriefs were informative and humorous to the point of a comedy show.We located pilots who had achieved the goals my friends had by asking around the airport when we were researching schools. Berichi Aviation has a solid reputation of new aircraft and “cream of the crop” Flight Instructors.They offer small classes (groups of 4–10 students) and also offer one-on-one training sessions, too. So there is tons of individual attention. Highly recommended, check them out.

Berichi Aviation is hands down the best flight school in the country. The have the most knowledgeable and professional flight instructors I have ever met. The also have the newest airplanes at any flight school. Most instructors are former military or airline pilots. The young guys/gals that graduated the school are only hired if they are top of their class. They do not have a flight instructor automatic job thing where instructors build time at the student’s expense. Berichi Aviation is a top notch operation. I have flown at different schools around the country for fun when I travel and Berichi Aviation is the best one I have ever seen. They have about 8 airplanes and 10 instructors. They have all brand new airplanes and highly experienced flight instructors. I fly with them every time I visit Florida. I have flown with Charlie Berichi in the Diamond DA62 and the Cessna Skyhawk. I flew the Cirrus SR20 several times with Instructor Ryan Helmericks. Not only are they all great teachers that can adopt to any learning style, but the ground instruction and flights are FUN. I teach math for a living and the flight instructors at Berichi Aviation are very professional and understand the fundamentals of instruction. They are great with the foreign students, too. They can teach anybody to talk on the radio, even if you are very shy or English is not your first language. I’ve observed them in their classrooms teaching small groups of 7–10 students at a time and Charlie Berichi and his instructors are very structured. It’s a very scenic area and there is much to do outside the flight school, too. You are 15 minutes from Downtown Fort Lauderdale, 45 minutes from Miami, and 20 minutes from Boca Raton. I could not say enough about how great Berichi Aviation was for my Private Pilot License certification. I went through the 30 day Private Pilot course with Charlie, and successfully passed the check-ride on my first try. Each instructor is extremely knowledgable, and I got the chance to work with some of them throughout my time here. Charlie was 100% dedicated to my progress throughout the entire 30 days, making sure I was confident, and stayed long hours to make sure I was prepared for the next day coming. Hello everyone, I am a student pilot in Los Angeles. I am pretty close to getting my PPL. I had a chance to get training two aviation schools in Los Angeles. After changing the first school where I have full of unpleasant stories. I took up my training where I left off with another school in LA. I thought they are good until last week when I have a chance to fly with Charlie Berichi at Berichi Aviation School. After having some experience, I heard that Florida is one of the best places to get training. Therefore I get contacted with Berichi Aviation. Charlie gave a tour of the school and showed the fleet. All of them were well-maintained. We took the 2015 Cirrus SR20; it was fast, comfortable, and air-conditioned (it was a blast). Next time, I would like to fly with the 2020 DA62( my personal favorite). The facility was clean and well equipped. The staff was welcoming and friendly. I met with instructors who are experienced in aviation and knowledgeable to train the newcomers. Thats important for me because I would like to learn more about aviation. It was a pleasant experience from the start till the end. Lastly, I found the best school to attend after getting PPL. I cant wait to learn more about the best air crafts. If you are looking for a school to attend, Berichi Aviation is the answer. I wish I had a chance to start my journey with them but never too late.

What an amazing experience! I got my spin endorsement for my CFI course and I couldnt be happier. I love aerobatics and precision flying. I flew 1.5 in the Extra 300L and I feel like it may have changed the course of my career in aviation. Everyone at Berichi was 100% professional and ready to make my experience the best it could be. I flew from moments after takeoff till base to final. I definitely got my moneys worth and I would do it again in a heartbeat. After contacting over 60 flight schools, I decided to do my PPL flight training at Berichi Aviation. This was a big choice for me as I travelled all the way from Australia just to complete my training.For me I wanted to avoid a “sausage factory” (a large school just wanting to make money of their students). Berichi Aviation is the opposite of this! My lesson plans were totally customised to my progress, and I felt almost as if the whole team were working only on me! The only portal they use is simple, and allows you to plan your time easily.I got my PPL in 41.3 hours! I was endorsed for your first solo by Owner and Flight Instructor Charlie Berichi in a record 10 hours! I completed a total of 14 training flights and 5 total solo flights. In one of my solos I decided to head down to Key West for the day and had an amazing time exploring the town (Charlie and the guys gave me a few recommendations as well).I primarily flew their Piper Cherokee 140 N2334T. It was impeccably maintained (as were all their aircraft). I also did a cross-country night flight in their Cessna 172SP G100, which was amazing. Probably the highlight was getting my high performance endorsement in their Extra 300L (the Red Bull air racing plane). I also managed to get my complex endorsement on the Piper Arrow - which was only $60 per hour!The classroom and offices were new and comfortable. Air con, free coffee, free cookies, free water etc. Everything you need to make you as comfortable as possible when flying and preparing to fly.Charlie was not only a knowledgable and very helpful instructor, but he also understood how much of a milestone and adventure this was for me, so assisted in creating many videos, and sent me heaps of photos, which provide great memories for me.I also flew with Asst. Chief Flight Instructor Dan Diamond, including my Mock Oral (which was invaluable in preparing for the checkride). Everything is approached incredibly pragmatically, with a view to getting you to pass your checkride safely and simply.Billing was simple, easy and transparent. At no time did they demand huge up-front payments or anything like that.I can’t recommend Berichi Aviation highly enough!

I found this aviation school while searching for aerobatic training in Miami and was seriously impressed by it. The customer service is excellent, I felt welcomed and as they part of a team immediately. Getting into the schedule and booking my first flight was very quick.Also the airplanes are all very modern and very well kept as in comparison with other aviation schools. The plane used for aerobatic training is a beautiful Extra 300L that flies like a dream.Highly recommend this aviation school, has all the ratings and planes I wanted, which my other aviation school did not.

I started my experience with Berichi in their Extra 300L. The plane was new, clean, and mechanically perfect.I recently decided to get a multi-engine instrument rating. I live in Orlando, but my research in training options pointed me right back to Berichi. I asked them if they would be willing to do an accelerated program so I could get it done in one week. They promised and delivered!The facility was clean and comfortable.Asst. Chief Flight Instructor Dan Diamond was knowledgeable, patient, pleasant, and very thorough. By by my last day of training, he was throwing everything at me at once. It was really exciting and did a lot to boost my confidence preparing me for the checkride the next day.The checkride was no joke. It was far more difficult and intense than my previous two checkrides. Thanks to consistent training and aircraft availability, I was well prepared.Owner Charlie Berichi runs a very nice operation. He sent some great photos of my check ride and delivered on his promise. 5 days of training, 15.5 hours of flight training, successful checkride on day 6!

I am a commercial single/multi engine pilot. I’m currently completing the 14 day accelerated CFI training program at Berichi Aviation in their 2020 Skyhawk N637CB under Chief Flight Instructor Dan Diamond. All of Charlie Berichi’s airplanes are brand new and the facility is state-of-the-art. All of the instructor’s are knowledgable and friendly and all have thousands of hours. Most have military, airline, or corporate flying experience which is great because they apply their first hand professional flying experiences in their daily teaching sessions. Berichi Aviation is the Cessna Pilot Center at Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport. They have 8 airplanes which is great. If one Cessna is in oil change or a 100 hour inspection, there is no delay in training as I can hop right into another airplane that is the same exact make/model which I’m flying. My daily training sessions are fun, productive, and filled with excitement. I cannot express enough how comprehensive the training is. After the completion of my CFI initial in the Skyhawk, I will be completing my MEI add-on in their Diamond DA62. I highly recommend Berichi Aviation and I am confident anyone with the determination, commitment, and a positive attitude can be successful in this awesome and straightforward learning environment.

I bought a discovery flight and it was fairly straightforward. I was nervous as heck but the flight was super smooth and my flight instructor kept us all safe (in addition to my own safe steering of the plane).I definitely want to fly again, and hope to get more accustomed to planes over time.I have never flown a plane before and now I feel comfortable to start flight school if time permits.Great experience!My girlfriend joined us as a passenger and she had a great time too (taking pictures of the beach).We flew a 2019 Cessna with air-conditioning! You couldnt ask for a nicer introduction to flying a plane.

Amazing planes, very cool instructors. First, they showed me their fleet (7 airplanes, mostly brand new, 5 of them had air conditioning). There’s 11 instructors, I got to meet 9 of them (very cool experienced guys). The Peruvian Air Force was here, too. Berichi Aviation teaches their instructor spin training the Berichi Extra 300L. I’m scheduled to fly it next week—beautiful airplane. I flew the 2019 StationAir today, love that new cockpit and leather smell. I highly recommend this flight school.

I was a full time CFI looking for a decent flight school to obtain my CFII rating at. I decided to take some time off work to allow me to concentrate fully on the study and flying necessary to obtain this rating in the shortest time possible. Initially I started at a school in Pompano but unfortunately they offered everything initially but in the real world could not actually deliver any of what they promised so I left them. After some searches on-line and looking through many reviews I decided to contact Berichi Aviation at KFXE. My initial email was replied to very quickly by the owner Charlie Berichi and I was soon talking with Dan who is the schools assistant chief pilot. I explained to Dan what I wanted and that was to get well prepared for a CFII checkride in the shortest time possible, studying on a regular schedule and flying a decent and reliable aircraft. Sounds simple but youd be amazed how many schools cannot actually do this. I sat down with Dan, we talked about what I wanted, put together a plan and I was soon on his schedule for both ground and flights. Dan was very knowledgeable in all aspects, the flying, technical subjects and the rules and regulations etc. and I felt very confident that I was in good hands for my CFII training. I also flew with Charlie Berichi CFII and owner. He was very professional and has high standards which I liked. We did holds, shooting approaches and he also helped me in familiarising myself with the Garmin GTN 650 which was a really nice addition to their aircraft. If you check out their aircraft pictures on line you will see that they are all well cared for both in cleanliness and maintenance which is a big plus as having flights cancelled due to poor maintenance when you are on a tight schedule is not good. Charlie also got me a checkride date a lot sooner than I thought I could get one as he knew I had been let down by the previous school so he looked after me in this respect which was much appreciated.In summary, I wanted to get well prepared for a CFII checkride in as short a period of time as possible, taught by knowledgeable people in decent training aircraft and thats exactly what I got. I passed my CFII checkride so Im very happy, many thanks to Charlie and Dan.

Stumbled upon Berichi Aviation while looking for a school to earn my instrument rating in South Florida, and am so glad I did. Youre not gonna find a part 141 school with planes this new anywhere else. Most of the fleet is 2020 models with more factory new ones coming in a few months. The planes are equipped with g1000 glass cockpits which is awesome, why train on outdated equipment when you can learn on the new technology similar to what the pros at the airlines use? Additionally, the staff are great. I had the pleasure of working with Eric as my CFI who is extremely knowledgable and professional. He was patient and took the time to really explain topics I was having issues comprehending. All around great experience, highly recommend.

I came to fly the famous Extra 300 Plane of Acrobatics. I got fly with the Flight Instructor and Owner Charlie Berichi. He was very professional, charismatic, and made exciting flight. Charlie made great ground briefing in nice classroom and holds highest standards of safety in industry—I checked this. It’s a great flying school and all planes are new and beautiful. Airplanes are nice equipped glass instruments and new interior/exterior.

I had a super duper awesome flight around key west and the best aerial tour experience one could ask for. Best Christmas present ever. Airplane was brand new and air conditioned. Was one of the first flight schools Ive been to where I didnt have to deal with maintenance cancellations, their fleet is well taken care of and any issues are corrected promptly! I recently went with Charlie on a instructional tour down to Key West in their new Cirrus SR20 and had an AMAZING experience! Charles Berichi is by far the most professional and attentive flight instructor I have ever met. He is extremely patient with me and explains everything comprehensively and makes the systems of the aircraft easy to understand. My father and I are currently doing our training at Berichi Aviation. Berichi Aviation promotes women in aviation which is very important to me because there is a small population of female pilots. The facilities are Berichi Aviation are brand new. They have 70 inch TVs that mirror foreflight which really got me familiar with all the weather and sectional chart features and shortcuts.I’m completing my Private Pilot License and Instrument Rating at Berichi Aviation in there beautiful and brand new 2020 Cessna Skyhawk 172S G1000 with the GFC 700 auto pilot. I solo’d at 12.8 hours. Going 4 days a week and being committed really shows results, just like they recommended.I became proficient with the G1000 rather quickly. The trick is to write down all your questions so when you show up to the Berichi Aviation simulator sessions, you can gain the most from the GPU sessions in the planes while you are on the ground. The Angle of Attack (AOA) indicator is the same found in jets and the Flight Stream 510 with bluetooth is so cool, I connect my music from my phone directly to the cockpit which makes the flights even more fun! They have aircraft loaded with fun options.I highly recommend Instructor Charlie Berichi and Berichi Aviation—the best flight school in the world.

The ride was for an hour. We took off from Fort Lauderdale, went over Miami and it’s beautiful shores.The pilots were my friend who was taking a course and his trainer was the owner Charlie Berichi.Charlie is wonderful, and very friendly. He treated us very good and made the tour a great experience! He’s a good pilot and teacher .I would definitely recommend this place for tours and Charlie as an instructor. We flew the SR20, beautiful plane.I would do it again whenever I have a chance, but next time I want to be the trainee pilot.

I had a phenomenal aerobatic experience in the Extra 300 with Instructor Charlie Berichi. I also did my high performance endorsement in their new 2018 Station Air Turbo at 25,000 FT and I have been recently flying their 2015 Cirrus SR20. Both have air conditioning!!! All the CFI’s at the school are career flight instructors and all American. They are great at teaching international students how to fly professionally and speak on the radios and navigate airspace (my weakest area). I highly recommend flying with Charlie and his team.

We went to stilts vile, Miami, and Fort Lauderdale. we had ac in the cirrus20. It was a fantastic experience, nothing like it before. Instructor was very knowledge and creates a great experience for our first time flying. 5 start rating for a 5 star experience!

Charles Berichi is the most amazing flight instructor. I started flying with him when I was 17. I quickly did my solo and now I’m getting ready for my PPL checkride. There are currently 6 girls at the school (I’m one of them) and about 30 guys. Berichi Aviation does a lot to promote women in aviation and connected me with the ninety nines and women in aviation scholarships. I felt very welcomed and part of the something great my first day; everyone shares common goals and works as a team to achieve their goals and it’s a very fun environment.I’m completing ZERO-ATP flight training at Berichi Aviation and will be applying here as an instructor after I graduate college at FAU.Berichi Aviation facilities are awesome. On the first floor, they have two large classrooms with huge professionally made custom murals of their cockpits (DA62, T206, SR20, etc). This really helps learn the procedures on the ground; in air conditioned classrooms as you chair fly the flight with your instructor.Berichi Aviation also has simulators. Every airplane has a GPU. They hook up the GPU in their huge hangar and you do ground school on the G1000 NXI with them on your airplane. This simulation is how I mastered the G1000. Way better then traditional G1000 simulators—those are limited and not really G1000. This is the actual system in the aircraft. I’m currently flying the 2020 G1000 NXI C172S with AOA, and flight stream 510 blue tooth. They just bought this brand new plane 3 months ago and flew it home from the factory, I was one of the first students to fly it. Charlie Berichi has 8 planes, all very new and clean. He really takes great care of his fleet.So far; I have passed my two stage checks. The stage check instructor I had was awesome, as are all the instructors at Berichi Aviation (there are currently 8). Every flight is awesome, I feel very safe and we always do one fun goofy thing every lesson (zero g, take goofy pictures, check out south beach, etc). This is a very fun and professional school. They are an FAA Accredited 141 Pilot School which is great because I will get my commercial pilot certificate at 190 hours as opposed to Part 61—250 hours is the commercial requirement. I highly recommended Charlie Berichi and all his instructors at Berichi Aviation.

They are very skilled and talk you through the flying. But YOU do the flying. Amazing sights. Their planes are clean and very well maintained.

I chose Berichi Aviation over other schools because they really treat you like family at this place. The owner Charlie makes sure your happy with everything. The instructors are carefully chosen and treat each student with respect and are very professional, but also down to earth. They also do not nickel and dime you (fuel or ground school), either. Which is a major plus.

Berichi Aviation is awesome! I flew the Extra 300 (which is immaculately maintained) with Chad Barber, who is a great instructor. Charlie runs a smooth operation and is professional, efficient, and provided excellent service all around. Definitely going back here next time Im in the area.

I did a discovery flight today with Charlie at Berichi Aviation in Fort Lauderdale. It was an incredible experience. Charlie did a briefing in his classroom and I now have fundamental understanding of sight picture flying and aircraft control based on visual references. Charlie was very knowledgeable and a pleasure to fly with. The aircraft was a 2015 Cirrus SR20 G1000 with air conditioning! We flew from Fort Lauderdale to Miami and then over the Everglades. The sights were incredible. We also did some formation flying with another company airplane. We did several maneuvers over the Atlantic ocean. I learned a ton and had fantastic experience from start to finish. I would highly recommend Berichi Aviation for flying lessons!

Outstanding experience. I flew with the owner and flight instructor Charlie Berichi. He has a lot of experience and made me feel very safe. Charlie was very patient and welcoming, he is a great instructor. I enjoyed every minute! We flew in the SR20 along the coast to Miami. Their planes are beautiful, all new and well maintained. The SR20 has air conditioner which is great here in South Florida. The lesson was really worth the money! Best way to see Miami. I had so much fun! Awesome introductory flight! Thanks so much. Zero gravity! Haha. The instructor that flew us was amazing. Very funny, too. It was a bit bumpy coming in for landing because of the convective activity in the afternoon. But the flight was amazing. If you do it, tell them you want to fly down the beach and fish spot (very cool). The Everglades were fun to fly over (we flew very low level). Theres lots of fishing activity there.

The owner and Flight instructor Charlie Berichi really helped me have a great first experience! He met me as soon as I parked my car and gave me a tour around the nice and neat facility. The people all smiled and waved when I walked by! There were complimentary fresh pasteries and drinks! (Which were my favorite, lol.) I had full access to the exclusive classroom and office area, and was able to look at many of the planes there, which were all polished and well kept so they worked perfectly! I was a little scared of riding my first time, as I have a tiny fear of heights I was trying to overcome and Captain Charlie was nothing but patient with me. He eased me through the whole process and recorded everything for me! He even edited it and sent me both versions so I could choose! In the end i had no issues of any kind, even with billing. It was truly an amazing first flying experience I’ll never forget! (:

I cannot say enough positive things about Berichi Aviation. I’m currently working on my private pilot’s license with the owner, Charlie, and it’s been a great experience. The planes and FBO are beautiful and well-maintained, and the instructors are all incredibly friendly and, most importantly, incredibly knowledgeable. Charlie, in particular, is the perfect CFI. He provides helpful feedback while at the same time keeping your confidence high, which is critical in the early stages when everything basically sounds like Swahili. I’ve read other students’ accounts of the negative experiences they’ve had at other flight schools, and I wish nothing more for them than to find an instructor like Charlie. I am extremely pleased with my experience with Berichi Aviation. The instructors are highly knowledgable and passionate about aviation and are firmly committed to their students success.My previous experience with flight schools across 3 states has not been positive in general. The airplanes tended to be old, tired and worn with squawks that ran the range of collecting water in the fuel tank on every rain, landing gear that would not confirm 3 down on approach, weak radios, steam gauges instead of glass, loose cowlings, etc.Berichi Aviation stands in sharp contrast to that:- I earned my Instrument Rating in their G1000 equipped C-172- Charlie Berichi arranged a factory tour for me when Cessna delivered their new C-206 Turbo Stationair and I have flown that airplane across multiple states with Charlie personally instructing.- Their air conditioned Cirrus SR20 is a delight to fly.- I recently earned my Multi-Engine Rating in their new Diamond DA-62. This airplane is a true game changer for pilots wanting to earn their MEL in Florida. The Berichi DA-62 is a new, state-of-the-art, Jet-A burning, air conditioned, G1000 NXI equipped, FADEC controlled, 7 seat twin. No other school has one. Charlie personally instructed me from start to finish which we completed in a short period of time leading to a successful pass on my first check ride attempt.The commitment that the Berichi team continues to show to all of their students is exemplary. For example, the night before my MEL check ride, Charlie took the time to drive to my house to meet with me and make sure everything was in order for my check ride the next morning.I highly recommend this flight school without reservation starting with anyone interested in beginning their aviation journey by earning their PPL all the way up to experienced pilots looking for advanced training or transitions. An example of the latter is I personally met the Peruvian Air Force pilots that attended Berichi Aviation this summer for advanced flight training that they can not safely complete back home.

I had a great time with Berichi Aviation. We flew over Lake Boca and down Ft. Lauderdale Beach on what turned out to be a perfect day weather-wise. The facilities were extremely clean and the staff was personable, speaking multiple languages and providing us with refreshments (pastries because it was breakfast time, along with coffee and water), and they remembered all of our names as we were leaving.The plane we flew in was new and clean, and there was a very clear emphasis on safety and ensuring that everyone was having a great time. I will definitely be coming back soon. Keep up the good work!

Completed my training with CFI Charlie Berichi and stage checks with CFI Dan Diamond. Both instructors were very fun to fly with and always professional. Lots of integrated instrument training (which is great because I’m going to Arizona State University for their airline program). Airplane I flew was the G1000 172 fully loaded. All there airplanes are really nice and new.

As I have hours of flying time and some experiences, I wanted the best school for my BFR and it turned out to be that everything was perfect!!!All of staffs are very professional and the airplanes are nicely equipped with Garmin G1000, for Cessan 172SP. Highly recommend Berichi Aviation and I am also planning to return in next week for flying an arrow and others.

Book one week of training . Arriving from France, zero planes available, 2 days loose for a 9 days training .Check ride scheduled the 27 th of May three months ago by email and phone . Arriving at the school mr berichi discovered that’s 27 is Memorial Day and so no examinator available ..... no backup plan, written test doesn’t scheduled etc.... so we was a bit upset, we tell us at mer Berichi that’s it’s not cool and the guy answer us : be careful or I will stop your training and you don’t have the spirit to be good pilot ! At the end I have spend 2000 dollars for 3 hours ground school and two sectional since the 25 Mr berichi don’t answer mail phone WhatsApp!!! Be careful this guy is a professional lyer :(

I wish I would have found Charlie Berichis flight school earlier! Its the perfect birthday present Xmas present or anniversary gift! The flight is an experience in every sense of the word. Im not looking to be a professional pilot but the phone flight I did definitely motivate me to get my PPL for fun and fly with friends to the Bahamas and Keys and stuff.Chief Dan Diamond and Donnie Ditty are some of the funniest instructors too! Haha! Got to hangout with then in classroom after the flight. Aerobatics course in January all set up in Charlies Extra 300!

Flew with my friends today we went on an Sr20 cirus we saw the Fort Lauderdale air show saw the blue jets it was a very awesome experience ! Loved it!!!

I was a bit nervous about doing aerobatics for the first time but i definitely came to the right place. I did my due diligence and stopped by 4 other schools in the south florida area. Every school was the same--all of the other schools planes were very old and ugly and their instructors were all very young. I questioned their experience and equipment. They told me that everyone flys old airplanes. Thats not the case at Berichi Aviation. All their airplanes are new. The Extra 300L I flew had 192 hours on it, total time. Their parachutes are brand new. Their Chief Instructor (Donnie) has been flying for 42 years and used to be an Army Test Pilot. I flew the whole time with him and he never grabbed the controls. Even when my loop was getting uncoordinated, he just talked ms through the recovery. Thats how you learn! They also have the BEST PRICES. Going for my second flight tomorrow. They are a small school with 5 new airplanes and 3 instructors, but they are the best around in every aspect.

I did an intro flight here. The instructor was very knowledgable. The plane was a Cessna. Had leather seats and very clean but no air conditioning. Hot day, once your moving the air cools you down. We flew along the beach and saw a fishing tournament. The takeoff is very cool. We did a steep climb and then flew very low on the beach. Will try to get my pilot license eventually.

I’ve been flown N80921 for my BFR and N626CB G1000 and started my instrument training last week.Flying with Owner Charlie Berichi has been phenomenal.He took me on a tour to the piper factory and I got to test fly the mirage (he’s a piper factory instructor in the pa46350p).Also he showed me the Bahamas procedure and key west navigation through the sugar loaf keys and Marathon. I took my daughter and she did amazing on her discovery flight. She’s going to start Flight School with Berichi Aviation now too.Had amazing lobster for lunch at the famous DJ clans in Key West on our IFR Flight.My flight training was one an EXPERIENCE that I will take with me forever.These guys are the best. They sell an experience, not just training.They just bought a 2018 AIR CONDITIONED Turbo Station Air 206 and a 2019 Twin Engine Piper Seminole. Both are G1000 NXI. These guys are the premier flight school in South FL. All career instructors and new airplanes.

I’ve been renting from Berichi for a little over a year. I’ve flown all their airplanes. All their airplanes are the nicest and best equipped in the area. I’ve done my HP endorsement with CFI-I Charlie Berichi in his sweet Extra 300. I completed my Complex Endorsement with Competition Aerobatic Instructor Barber in the Berichi Piper Arrow and did the basic Acro course as well. I’m now doing my IFR rating with Charlie Berichi in the G1000 172. They have air conditioning!!! I competed the Bahamas course with Charlie and I also got a free flight in the Arrow last weekend! Join the time building group at Berichi, very cool guys and gals and great way to save money. The group is all Berichi graduates that know the area and are building time for their commercial ratings. Berichi has a guaranteed charter job placement program, top notch training.

Berichi Aviation in Fort Laudedale is the place to be! Hands down the most professional and hands on flight school I’ve ever witnessed, from there airplanes to the instructors to the owner himself, everyone at that school cares about you success, the owner Charlie is one of the nicest people I’ve ever met, he will help you out with anything and is always in communication with you which is rare these days from a flight school, and also can’t say enough about Dan Diamond, he’s one of the most knowledgeable people in flying you will talk to, highly recommend Berichi aviation and everyone there, they will get you to where you want be, weather it’s renting a plane for a day, or becoming a professional pilot, they have the tools and the people to get you there, Highly Reccomend to anyone!

I had THE BEST EXPERIENCE during my discovery flight with Flight Instructor Charlie Berichi in his 2019 Station Air Turbo 206! Brand new plane smell and air conditioning made the flight very comfortable. We did maneuvers over the Everglades and finished up with a formation flight with Charlie’s other instructor in his Piper Arrow N2248G. We got some great GoPro video too of our zero g maneuver, simulated emergency descent, and steep turns. Espero volver a repetir esta super y divertida experiencia!

Berichi Aviation is based in KFXE and they operate from W aviation FBO, star is really nice talked to Charlie Berichi the owner for a flight in their Extra 300L he was out flying but managed to arrange everything for the flight I was looking for, I was short in time but he got a great staff that was available to accommodate my flyight in my schedule, flew with Competition Aerobatic instructor Chad Barber, really nice guy professional and fun to hang around, I had a great flight and Chad was always giving me tips and hits on how the maneuvers are done in that aircraft!I highly recommend you to try Berichi Aviation.Airplanes are well maintained and in great shapeStaff is awesome.They are flexible in schedules and can arrange something for you.If you are looking for them go to W Aviation FBO and ask there for Charlie Berichi.

I would recommend Charlie to anyone . I rented and got checked out in a Cherokee over at TNT airport, practiced the ILS at FXE, flew down by Miami Beach . Very much recommended . I think this place is a good deal in my opinion .

I had the best time!! Me and my friends had the opportunity to fly over Lake Boca and Fort Lauderdale beach on a sunny morning and the views were breathtaking. The location of the flight school was convenient, the people at the front desk were very friendly and welcoming. I had short conversation with the young lady who spoke both English and Portuguese fluently and also spoke a bit of Spanish as well. The facility was clean and modern, I was offered cold water and either tea or coffee in their little mini updated kitchen. Plane was very nice, clean, and the most important part to me and I think everybody else is the safety! Huge emphasize on that which made the experience more enjoyable than nerve racking lol. I have already recommended it to so many friends to experience.

Im in the ZERO to Flight Instructor program at Berichi Aviation. Got my PPL with CFI-I Charlie Berichi. Very smooth process. Im from Nassau, all my Bahamian mates are doing there flight training here now. Berichi teaches us how to fly in Bahamas with their integrated flight training program. Im almost done with my instrument rating with Charlie, then starting commercial next month. All their airplanes are nice, new, and meticulously maintained. The G1000 Cessna and Extra 300 are my favorites. I completed their UARC (Upset Attitude Recovery Course) in their new Extra 300 and got to use the aerobatic smoke system (very cool). I got my high performance endorsement and CFI spin endorsement in 1 flight! And I got my complex endorsement in their Piper Arrow 201 in one flight with Charlie Berichi. Best flight school in South Florida, hands down.

Great training program. My CFI (Instructor Foster) is very comprehensive (especially with academics). My pre-solo stage check was done by Owner/CFI Charlie Berichi (and aerobatics training)—FUN FLIGHT! I solo’d really fast! Which was great because the old school I was at was getting me no where. These folks are all about fast results! They are all American career flight instructors (which no other school offers). I passed my written exam last week and my checkride is next week in their Piper Arrow. Most of their airplanes are new glass cockpit but the are very competitive with pricing (I checked everywhere before I selected this school). I’m going to do instrument, commercial, and multi engine commercial here then they have me lined up to fly charter back in the Bahamas which is great because that is exactly what I want to do! All the Bahamians are training here regularly, new school, it’s like a hidden gem. They are by far the best instructors and planes in the State of Florida. The also are the only school with the red bull plane, everybody that comes through here gets a high performance and spin endorsement and basic aerobatics training during their PPL. No one else does this. I also got my complex endorsement the first week of being here which is great because all the commercial jobs want lots of complex time which no other school offers. They really mold you to be the most marketable candidate for aviation jobs right after graduation.

In short; I recently completed my private pilot license at Berichi Aviation, I am delighted with the quality of training I received and would highly recommend Charlie and his team.My more detailed review.I initially started my training with a different school at KFXE; unfortunately, due to planned maintenance and the school taking on too many students, I found it very difficult to schedule time.In search of a different school, a friend of mine who operates his personal aircraft out of W Aviation suggested I contact Charlie. After reaching out to him, I immediately received a lengthy email detailing their dedicated student pilot program (PPL in 4-8 weeks) and asked me what dates would work best. Being short on time, I asked to start immediately to which he agreed.The Instructors/TrainingAll of their instructors are career CFIs, and this was appealing to me as you are learning from high time pilots with real-life experience, not pilots looking to build time. Charlie was my instructor for the duration of my training, this saved time as we were always able to pick up from where we left off. I enjoyed Charlies teaching style and got along very well with him. In fact, Charlie even invited me to join him on the delivery of a Mirage M350 from Charlotte to Seattle. In doing so, I was able to log over 13 hours of free flight time and gained my high performance and complex endorsements. Danny assisted with the ground school to make sure I was ready for my written and oral exams; he too is an excellent and knowledgeable teacher.I would highly recommend completing your ground school before starting your flight training; this will allow you to focus purely on your flying. I stupidly opted to do both at the same time and found it pretty intense to start but manageable overall. I had been scheduled to complete my checkride later in the month, but due to a cancellation, I had the opportunity to sit it well ahead of schedule. Although I didnt feel ready, Charlie and Danny reassured me and sent me on my way, and to their credit, I returned with my certificate in hand.The Facilities/LocationBerichi Aviation is located at the W Aviation FBO; they do not operate (teach) in the FBO as some reviewers have suggested instead they have classrooms attached to one of Ws hangars. You do transit the W FBO to get there; however, I do not see this as a drawback, again it gives a real-world feeling. Plus who doesnt like free water, coffee and cookies?!The AircraftI hoped to train in the more modern C172 with the G1000 cockpit; however, it had been booked out, and it was wisely suggested that I not change aircraft halfway through my training. Instead, I trained in N80921. I was more than happy with the airplane. It was well maintained, clean and always ready for me.The CostsAll of the costs were initially outlined before I started the training and I was happy with how close we came to the estimated cost of training.In conclusion, again I highly recommend training at Berichi Aviation. I plan to complete my instrument rating with them and will rent their aircraft.

I brought my wife here for a discovery flight. Instructor Charlie Berichi flew us in his brand new G1000 c172sp. He is the funniest and most energetic flight instructor Ive ever flown with. He did a 30 minute safety briefing with us then systematiclly explained the preflight inspection and all the manuevers I was going to perform. He really knows his stuff. Besides teaching aviation safety, I know hes a Professor of Justice in Miami, his teaching style is the best Ive seen. If you want to get your moneys worth and fly NICE airplanes, go see the folks at Berichi Aviation. They are the best in the business.

Im a graduate of the CFI program. Did it in their Piper Arrow N2248G. If you do your research, they have the best priced and NICEST aircraft in the area. Im doing my CFI-I with Asst. Chief Dan Diamond now in their G1000 172. I love their Skyhawk, its got all the options (GFC 700 auto pilot, XM Weather Radio, music, Weather, traffic advisory, synthetic vision, electric trim, leather, everything).Their instructors are top of the line--all military combat aviators and retired airline instructors. Will do my multi engine instructor rating here next.

After shopping around online for something to do that was new and fun, I found an affordable Discovery flight in a new airplane! I flew then my dad flew, back to back! flew with Instructor Charlie Berichi today for my first discovery flight in the United States. I usually fly with my father in his airplane in France.I flew in Charlie’s G1000 172. I had an amazing discovery flight that was fun and exciting Owner Charlie Berichi. First, he gave me a tour of the entire facility and then he conducted a comprehensive ground briefing in his classroom and briefed the entire flight. He explained all the maneuvers we were going to do and the areas of Boca Raton and Pompano we would fly around. The flight went perfectly according to the briefing and I learned a lot! It was very scenic. Very professional and safe company. Their airplanes are glass cockpit and very nice and new. The Skyhawk C172SP we flew was comfortable and was G1000 equipped. The flight was a definite bucket list item I suggest everyone try.

Passed my Private Pilot Certificate with CFI-I Charlie Berichi in the G1000 Cessna 172SP. Finished right at 40hrs. I was well prepared for the FAA Practical Exam and my checkride went very smooth with Examiner Davis. I’m enrolled in the Zero-CFI program and guaranteed job interview with Ameriflight at 500 hours. I’m now doing my instrument rating with CFI Berichi. The school is very professional and lots of fun and good vibes.

We had an awesome time flying the new Cessna G1000! It was only $125 bucks! The CFI was amazing and let me fly the whole time! I did the take off alone! We flew down the beach to downtown Miami, low-level. Brickell looks really cool from overhead, haha.

That may have been the best christmas present I ever recieved. Never thought of taking up flying but this is definitely my new favorite hobbie. Their planes are all new and instructors are all military and airline pilots. They are all hilarious and let you do all the flying. They just talk you through it. 5 stars, well deserved.

Just finished up my Discovery Flight with Berichi Aviation! They even had me taxi and do the takeoff. The instructor was awesome. It was definitely an at my pace kind of operation. Flew down the beach to the keys. The Sugarloaf Keys really look like someone poured sugar in them, haha. They know all the secret spots where we could fly low and see things that you couldnt imagine. The coolest thing Ive ever done! Im definitely going to get my pilot license through them. I was going to do it at another school but when I found their website, I went through Berichi Aviation. No joke, ALL THE OTHER SCHOOLS TAKE YOU UP IN 40 YEAR OLD AIRPLANES EXCEPT BERICHI AVIATION. I went with my friend two years ago for his discovery flight and it was more expensive than what I paid today (and it was a 1981 plane, lol). Berichi aviation takes you up in brand new airplanes, they even smell new. The plane I flew didnt even have its first oil change yet, LOL. These people love aviation, there is a real passion for it with these people and they honestly care about your concerns and safety. Check them out before making a decision on your training. Their prices are unbeatable, too. The first thing I apprciated was the fact that they were extremely responsive and professional. They are very respectful towards international students, too (from how I observed them treated in the pilot lounge by the owner and instructed). I think the owner is a Doctor, maybe thats why they are so polite. These are very trustworthy people.
