We returned a car to this location. The representative was courteous, thorough and very explanatory. He made the experience pleasant, but the checkout process was much longer than expected.

Too bad theres no way to do a negative review. My mother just left a location within the last 2 hours. She WAS NOT given a key fob to start the car. The car was already running and they were able to get down the street before the car started dinging stating there was no key fob. My mother is an older lady and doesnt know anything about these new vehicles. She now CANOT start the vehicle as there is NO detected key fob. The location closed basically right after they left and customer service/roadside assistance is less than helpful! Very disappointing! How can someone leave an old lady stranded like this!! 0 STARS

Update. I received a call today from an Enterprise executive named David who told me their claim against me was dropped. He was very cooperative and gave me an opportunity to explain to him exactly what happened and how I think this problem can be avoided in the future. Thank you David for good customer service. My rating of your company has increased from one star to four stars based not just on the result of dropping the claim against me but also the fact that you provided to me an opportunity to explain the problem and offer a solution.Initial postIgnore this place at all cost. I had pictures to prove I did not cause the damage to their vehicle that was rented in des Moines and returned in fort Dodge and they still filed a claim against me even after I told them I had pictures I took of the vehicle before I left their lot in des Moines. They never asked to see my pictures until after the claim was filed. I asked them to send me copies of their pictures that showed the alleged damage to the vehicle and their rep refused. I was there for the final inspection and they told me everything was fine. I talked to them a second time and they told me everything was fine even though they had already filed unbeknownst to me a claim against me which they did not tell me about while I was standing there face-to-face with them next to the car. I will fight the claim and never pay a dime nor will I turn this claim into my insurance company as they suggested. I treated their car with kit gloves and even left my car out side overnight so their car could be inside my garage safe and sound when we arrived home. I contacted the office in des Moines and never got a satisfactory answer. I consider this incident serious enough to file a complaint against them to the Iowa attorney general consumer protection division. Never again.DR I emailed you my information so you can contact me back this afternoon.

Cant rent on the weekend. At least I could not rent on the website. How inconvenient, what if you have a last minute emergency, need to travel by plane and get a rental car when you land or need to rent a car for the entire trip?! Not on the weekend. Save your emergencies for Mondah thru Friday.

Well aside from not having the car i requested they still got me out of there in something comfortable wish i could have had the choice of the other mid size parked next to the the one i received,but beggars cant be choosers. As well as locking my keys in the vehicle and ringing my home office off the hook for assistance, which never got in contact with then I looked up and called roadside assistance and they were extremely helpful .

It was good. The only bad is that we could not enter inside any enclosed area had to stand out in cold inclement weather because of this b.s. pandemic which is wrong as we had to have appointment but even though only one person had to stand in freezing weather. Car was 2020 Nissan Altima

If I could give negative stars I would. First a few months ago this location tried to say I damaged vehicle! I drove it 45 miles and turned it in around 10 am. Corporate found out that employee was joy riding in car until six am. I tried to make reservation today the Manager refused and told me to call cooperate. Called cooperate who said there is no problem. I was polite and calm she hung.up on me.

Claire and Tammy are top notch! Ive rented here MANY times and would never go anywhere else. They pick me up for my rentals just like the commercial says and are always in great spirits. They clearly love their jobs and working with the public. The car wash/maintenance crew is great here in Fort Dodge as well. The vehicles Ive gotten are always clean and smell fresh. Customer service was great, and there was no wait time.

Very friendly people. Customers had to wait outside because of restrictions with Covid-19. There is no street sign to the south of the location so we missed the turn and had to back track to find the location.

First several times I have rented from enterprise I have never gotten a dirty car always show room quality. The last time I rented from then on 6-18 through 6-20 the car was filthy when I picked it up and was told that enterprise doesnt consider it to be overly dirty. There was tomatoe sauce everywhere and looked like a baby had projectile vomited all over the roof in the back. There was what only one could hope was chocolate all over the car. The agent ran through the rental and walk around and didnt care what the car looked like.

The people are amazing. They are very friendly and easy to understand when explaining what the extra coverages are. Glad we got it to because there ended up a chip in the windshield. Will be using them again.

TERRIBLE customer service by the lady in Fort Dodge, IA. At some point during my rental, they decided to charge everything to my debit card vs the credit card I had orginally payed with. When I called the lady laughed at me and put me on hold for 20+ minutes on 2 seperate occasions. It took me 2 days to get in contact with someone to actually resolve the issue. Will not return

My fiance and I rented a car a few weeks ago!! Tammy and Claire, were so friendly!! Our car was neat and tidy!!! We literally left Enterprise, with our stomach in stitches!! Thank -you Enterprise, for having such great staff!!!

I don’t get it there is really no help. Most people that move here for work don’t have a credit card I’m almost 30 years old and never had one there needs to be another way for people like me to be able to rent it’s unfair when things come up and I turn to the only renter that I use back home and the rules are different here to rent a car but it’s the same name news flash your loosing business this way it’s a group of us that cane in at least 5 different cars where booked but you turn down business because I never owed a credit card I really wanna know how the owner feels

The car was amazing, and drove wonderfully. It fit my needs perfectly for I had my family with me, it was great on gas mileage, and there was lots of room for the luggage and baby essentials. Of course the first thing the car shows me when I get in, is that it needs an oil change and I drove it several hundred miles- who knows how long its been needing the oil changed. I was made to get their insurance, even though their website said my insurance would cover it.Now would I go there again, absolutely. I had no trouble renting or returning the vehicle, it was reasonably priced compared to other rental agencies in the area, and even though I didnt talk with the employees much, I felt like they would help if anything happened during my trip

Amazing service and friendly staff! We had a wonderful experience at the Fort Dodge office. We were in desperate need of a vehicle. We called late on Friday, our agent, Tammy (?) was prompt, professional and courteous. We greatly appreciated their help and expertise.

The ladies in the office are AWESOME! My car wasnt quite ready and we sat and talked and shared stories. Very personable and very very wonderful to work with. Tammy is always more than willing to accommodate. She remembers me by name everytime Im in there.

I have rented here multiple times, this particular time was around labor day so I had reserved ahead of time, and luckily I had, as they were completely booked and people were extending their days, Tammy called early in the morning to have me come in early so I was sure to have a car and she gave me a free upgrade from a small car to a really nice ford escape(it was the only one left) and was very friendly and reassured me of any questions I had. She has a great rapport with all the customers and would definitely be a selling point for coming back.

Had a confirmed pickup for noon, they were closed. Called main number the man says they close at noon, if they would have been opened till one,they would have been required to wait till 1:30. This one close at noon, with confirmed pickup at noon, they couldnt or wouldnt wait 30 minutes. He asked if I called or made it online. I stated online, he said that is why. He wanted me to drive over an hour away to get another car but that one closed at one. Asked where, he was just going to change it without telling me where . When Ii finally yelled where, he told me. Told him that was not possible to do. I said just have someone deliver a car to my house at no cost, your company screwed up, fix it. He said I cant, no customer service here. Shouldnt confirm noon pickup, if you arent going to be there.

Been a Enterprise rental customer for 4+ years. This location provided help with getting a rental even in the heavy snow. They got me taken care of and ready to go even when I was an hour early. Really appreciate the staff.

Reserved a car in advance thru insurance, called prior to pick up earlier in day just to make sure car was available, was told it was. Took day off work to drive over an hour for pick up, arrived and said it would be a half hour and car would be ready, half hour later said sorry no car available. Waste of time, lost days wages! Definitely would not recommend this place!

Showed up at 445 pm on a Wednesday to pick up a car, after I delivered a new construction vehicle in ft dodge.I had a reservation made by my boss.However, my credit card was maxed out, so I needed to use my debit card. I was told i would need to provide an Iowa dl (im from mn), and a current utility bill. And they cannot accept another credit card over the phone. What?This is theyre company policy. Apparently the riff raff such as myself cannot be trusted.Long story short: I sat on Applebees for 6 hours while my wife drove from Minneapolis to get me.I lost quite a bit of money, and I am very disappointed with everyone from the Enterprise staff, and my employer for dropping the ball.Thank you for making me feel like an incompetent loser. I will be sure to use my insufficient debit card at other car rental businesses.

No availability. They say next closest location is Ames and they have no availability. Then they say, the only availability they have is in Kent, Washington.....Washington?Something is wrong with their system I’m sure but how do you run a rental car company that claims they will pick you up and then not have any cars available to rent anywhere in an entire state, let alone half of the country?

We flew into Des Moines and rented an economy car to Fort Dodge. It used less than 3 gallons of gas and cost $68. Unfortunately, it will cost more to travel back. Took a star off for that.
