I dont ordinarily write reviews... so infrequently, in fact, I had to look up how to do it. As a non-traditional online college student who last took a math course thirty or so years ago, I find Blues tutoring videos to be an indispensible learning tool. While a textbook and online course explain the theory behind a concept, he cuts right to the chase showing how to solve each question in plain no-nonsense language. More so, he demonstrates how to use the monstrously powerful TI-84 calculator to handle all the heavy lifting -- something I surely would not be able to figure out in a reasonable timeframe on my own. Hes friendly, responsive, and customer-oriented - obvious to the observer that he loves his job and is great at it. Just a few minutes ago, I submitted my first calculus exam and got an A. Two weeks ago, I knew little about the material and feared it. Today (to my surprise) I actually enjoyed solving the exam problems. Blue, thank you so much.

I have struggled throughout my high school and college career catching onto math concepts as I never had a strong foundation. Blue not only helped me pass a pre requisite course in 2 DAYS, yes just TWO days, but he also was the reason I was so successful in my calculus course for engineers. During the Spring 2020 semester, we had to also transition to online learning and do everything remotely. There is no way that I could have passed this class with a B or better if it was not for Blue. After going to my class, I would come out extremely confused, having not learned one thing. Once I met with Blue, I stopped going to class because he taught me more than my professor ever could. I highly recommend reaching out and meeting with Blue if you are struggling with math, or just want clearer instruction.

Blue is extremly knowledgeable on all the Pace and Distance mathematics programs offered by CSU. After finding myself lost, Blue was able to help provide shortcuts and teach me how to do everything on my calculator allowing me to save time and pass the course quickly. He is a master of the program and an easy to understand tutor.

When I started Math 155, I hadnt taken a math class or even thought of math in five years! I was so scared to jump right into calculus and for the first half of the semester before I found Blue, I cried, A LOT. Homework took for forever, I didnt understand my teacher, and I couldnt get the help I needed at the Calculus Center. Once I started meeting with Blue just once a week, I felt so relieved! I was able to almost, if not completely, finish assignments with him in just one hour, and he taught me tricks and showed me tips that my actual teacher never did that made things so much easier to understand. I even had classmates coming to me for help! I got a B+ on the final exam and a B in the class, even when I thought I would surely fail. Thanks Blue, you rock!
