Bob is a fantastic tour guide and great company to boot. I do kinda wonder what a guy who rides bikes and drinks beer for a living does for fun, but I digress. We booked our tour in Fort Collins two days beforehand and were lucky enough to get a spot. Ft. Collins is a very bike friendly city and the ride wasnt very strenuous at all. We were asked our preferences prior to the trip. The breweries Bob chose were excellent and all brand new to us and Ill be reviewing those on their own page.Highly recommended and we will be booking another tour for sure.
Our beer and bike tour was with Lizzie and it was a great experience. She showed us wonderful bike trails we are looking forward to biking on in the future. We went to Breweryies we havent tried.
Maggie was a great guide and very knowledgeable. The bike pathes make it easy to get from brewery to brewery.
Our 1st Bike & Beer trip to Belgium with Bob as our fearless leader was a blast! Everything exceeded our expectations from the laughter to the beer knowledge and friendships we made along the way. Bob is a funny guy, but in a very professional and safety oriented way. He kept us safe but made damn sure all of us had a great time. Be sure to ask him if he, “washes his legs in the shower.”I am forever in his debt for now I know I can ride a bike the morning of a hellacious hang over and survive 30 plus miles (warning: preview the alcohol percentage in those easy flowing, but very evil fruit/gin drinks at Dreupelkot! - Tripels and Quads don’t compare! Beware!).We plan on taking many more Bike & Beer Tours in the future. Next up Copenhagen or Portugal. Meeting the small brewers along the way was a highlight of the trip. We were even able to walk the hop fields and rub the oils into our palms to get an intimate look into the beer making process.Bob is a “Good Human” and I look forward to pedaling with him again. You can be certain there will be excellent beer, good stories and fun times after every ride.
I did this over the summer with some out of town guests and it was great. The biking is pretty easy, the bikes were comfortable and in good shape. Youre not biking through the mountains, just Fort Collins. The breweries were pretty close to each other, I dont think we biked much more than 2 miles. I have been to the breweries before and they are all good. I appreciated this experience and the fun afternoon.
Booking a Bike and Beer Cruise was one of the best decisions we made in planning our honeymoon! We spent an great afternoon riding around Fort Collins, talking to brewmasters, and ordering flights. Bobby is an excellent tour guide; he made our day personalized and was extremely fun to follow around! We would definitely bring more friends and book another tour next time were visiting Fort Collins.*To note, if you want to hit a specific brewery or make sure to get a full tour somewhere, just ask! Bobby was awesome at making sure everyone was in favor of every stop we made. He even got us a tour with the owner at Horse & Dragon, which was extremely cool.
This was such a fun tour! Bobby Cassidy, our guide, was a blast. We basically gave him free reign to take us where he wanted, and we ended up getting in some great out of town scenery as well as a few beer stops. Couldnt recommend this tour enough, really, really worth it!
Our daughter and husband were visiting from Virginia, and being beer lovers we decided to do the Bikes and Beer tour in Ft Collins. Our guide was Bob and he couldnt have shown us a better time. Very sociable, personable & laid back. His knowledge of the brewers and different beers was interesting and we tasted several new and delicious beers. Thanks, Bob! We will definitely recommend this tour to others!!!
We had the BEST time with Bob on Beer and Bike Tours in Fort Collin, CO. We took our 9 month old son and Bob was amazingly accommodating, from bike gear to travel with him to holding him while we indulged. We were calling him Uncle Bob by the end of the day! Bob is super knowledgeable about beers and honestly, just a super interesting, down to earth guy. We loved spending the day with him and our fellow tour patrons. The whole experience felt super personal, we got tours of the breweries, Bob, along with a fellow tour friend, Savannah, know everyone in the beer business it seems! Bob was also so kind and generous, he bought my first round because it was Mother’s Day. An incredible experience and I would recommend to any and every one. We will definitely do this again if ever in any of the areas tours are offered with Bob. Enjoy & cheers!!
Hands down great company and brillant beers. The Field to bar trip was incedibly informative and great fun...but drinking with Bob in Belgium has to be one of my favourite things ever...hic
Great local guides. A fun way to see an area! Love the beer culture.
My husband and I were looking for a cycling day adventure while we vacationed in Colorado. Before we happened upon Bobs company, we had already decided that the theme of our vacation would be biking and breweries - a mans wine country as my husband put it. Much to my delight, when searching for cycling and brewery tours in Colorado, Bobs company popped up! After comparing his company with other companies and options, I decided that Beer and Bike Day Tours offered the most for the value. We decided to ride with Bob down Trail Ridge Road in Rocky Mountain National Park. Thereafter, we visited Grand Lake and Estes Park Brewing Company. What a day! The ride was exhilarating and Bob was the consummate tour guide - knowledgeable, funny, accommodating, helpful. When we expressed interest in learning about Fort Collins, Bob quickly suggested that we take a bike tour with him and of course it included breweries so how could we say no? Again, we had a blast! We rode around Fort Collins all day with Bob and we still had things to laugh and talk about. We also did our fair share of imbibing, touring and learning about the local breweries; we even made it on the New Belgium Brewery tour! If you love biking and you enjoy beer (or vice versa), you will love Bob and his Beer and Bike Tours. Take Bobs tours...you will not be disappointed!!!
My Dad and I are visiting Fort Collins for a couple days and since we love beer and biking I figured this would be the perfect thing for us, and boy was I right. Our tour guide was Adam. We met him at Odell brewery and rode to New Belgium, Horse and Dragon, and Funkwerks and ended back at Odell. Adam was a fantastic tour guide. He added some interesting facts during our tour of New Belgium, some guidance of what to see, do, and eat around the area, and was very friendly and accommodating. The tour is catered to whatever you want to do, how far you want to go, and what beers you like. We rode a couple miles on mostly flat land in bike lanes - a very easy ride. The tour took about 4 hours. Adam knew what beers to try and where to go. Overall it was fantastic and I would highly recommend it to anyone thats visiting or likes beer. Absolutely no negatives and I would definitely do it again.
Bob at Beer and Bike Tours is the best! He couldnt accommodate our last minute request since the tour was already fully booked. Instead of leaving us to fend for ourselves, he sent us a list of other places to rent bikes, a few maps of great rides in Ft. Collins, and a list of the breweries too. He even offered to provide directions over the phone to get us from one brewery to the next. Now thats customer service!
We did this as a part of our honeymoon trip to CO last week. Bob was out of town, so Patrick did our tour, but it was awesome! By far the best part of this trip, very laid back and fun. We didnt really have a schedule or itinerary so Patrick let us pick where we wanted to go, made some suggestions, and we even stopped to play pool for an hour or so. Definitely recommending the tour to friends and family :)
We had a blast! The tour was tailored to our preference and our guide was very friendly, accommodating, personable, and informative. We definitely recommend this tour!
Very pleased with our tour on Cinco de Mayo with Beer and Bike Tours. Bob, Maggie and Steve were a pleasure to spend the afternoon with and no better way to see Fort Collins and its awesome breweries then on a bike.
Bob was awesome. I highly recommend doing this if you are visiting Fort Collins, and have a love for beer!
Fun adventures filled with friends and laughter. A very good experience.
