I received an offer to buy “my house”. The address was for an apartment my daughter rented four years ago in Ft Collins. The only way this company could connect me to that address is through my credit report where the address popped up because I received a couple of pieces of mail while visiting my daughter one summer at that address. So how did they get access to my credit report? Through the breech at Equifax is what I am guessing. So either they were part of the illegal breech or they bought data from the crooks who stole that data. That makes this company a crook in the first or second degree. I certainly don’t appreciate getting junk mail based on some breaking into my credit report. Maybe you ought to look at your business practices and figure out how to be 100% more honest in your practices! I would never do business with you!
Contacted NoCo House Buyers about a rental they had listed online. They had me and two others go through the entire rental application process and said they’d run our background and credit checks after we paid our application fees. We indicated we would be driving to see the property the day after and they provided the lockbox code. What they didn’t bother to mention was that they had rented the house to someone else and we found out that that property had been leased to someone else when we arrived to see the rental. The best part? We were told by the contractors who were working on the house when we arrived, not the owners. We drove over an hour to see this home only to be told it was no longer available. We called over three times before finally getting ahold of Blake who said a mere “oh I’m sorry you made the drive,” when they could have picked up a phone or sent an email in less than five minutes to save us the time and energy. It also seems that our applications were not even processed when they were received. What a joke.
NoCo House Buyers did an amazing job guiding me through the selling process. They were quick to respond to my questions and provided me with all my options.Ultimately, I received the value I was hoping for and was able to receive my money quickly. I was even able to stay in my home after No Co House buyers bought my house for 2 months allowing me time I needed to move, without worrying.
So I didnt buy or sell through these folks... And I wont. I am a desperate person in a horrific situation. When I came home and saw what looked like a $100 bill on the floor by my front door, I thought, Thank you God! That glimmer of hope turned to disgust, when I realized it was this companys business card. If you are dealing with a demographic of people in need of money, maybe you should have some nice, clear business cards printed.
Makaela is the BEST! I would love to work with her again and recommend her to anyone. Very professional in all aspects and profound knowledge in real estate industry and years of experience. Thanks again for making my purchase a dream!
When I decided to sell my home I interviewed a few listing agents. They all had concerns about listing my home due to some major repairs that needed to be made. They insisted I complete the repairs before listing. I didnt have the time or resources to handle these projects. It was overwhelming. I reached out to NoCO House Buyers and set up a time for them to view my home. Best decision Ive made. The process was smooth and quick and I was able to sell without making the repairs.
Met with Blake today at my home to discuss options. He was very kind and courteous and very easy to talk to. Very professional.

Hello, my name is Brian and I did something extraordinary- but not on my own. The impossible was achieved with the help of Blake and Makaela Stevens through NocoHousebuyers. I am writing this letter to say thank you and hope it helps others looking for help regarding buying/selling a home.I bought my Fort Collins home in 2007. I was extremely proud to be a first time home buyer and kept up with the payments while working as a dental lab technician. I was even able to refinance in 2010 and had great credit. Life was good.Unfortunately, economic changes caused a need for downsizing and I lost my job within the same year. Unable to find employment, I missed two mortgage payments. My check was returned after attempting to pay the third month’s payment. The mortgage company wanted half or nothing. I was then encouraged to enroll in a program to refinance what I owed and get back on track with my loan. It seemed easy enough, however, that was not the case for me.The process was tedious. 5 years later my world had fallen apart. Late fees and missed payments added up to a whopping $70,000 and I had less than four weeks until my foreclosure date. Realtors and foreclosure attorneys were trying to swoop in and “help me out” but my time crunch and low credit score yielded only low offers and high pressure tactics. Worst of these was a NOTICE of FORECLOSURE that had been taped to my front door which resembled an official city notice yet in the fine print revealed itself as an advertisement for a law firm. I felt very angry and distrusting towards most companies as a result. Time was ticking and I didn’t know if any company could actually help me instead of simply scaring me out of my home.Life was not so good, but I refused to give up.The facts were that I owed $70K but my home value had increased by nearly $100K. I had missed 5 years of payments while my credit plummeted and no one seemed to know how to help. 5 years of uncertainty caused stress and loss of perspective that affected every relationship in my life in a negative way. I reluctantly decided to sell my home. Time passed in fear filled waves of foreclosure notices and requests for income that I could not provide. Every option I tried ended in defeat. Barely staving off every auction date by mere days. Paperwork bought me time but not much hope. I needed real help. Eventually, NocoHousebuyers offered me options and hope.Blake Stevens contacted me about my house. A contractor friend had given him my number and we agreed to meet even though I had no idea who he was. The next morning I had a pleasant meeting in my home with Blake and his sister Makaela. They proposed a fair offer after discussing my different options. I was nervous but appreciated the way I was treated and the numbers made sense, so I signed the contracts. Within two weeks time they had paid in full the $70K that I owed in order to stop the foreclosure. Over the following months NocoHousebuyers had upgraded the house completely and listed it on the market. In July, 2017 the house sold at a great price and everyone involved came out a winner. I am extremely happy with their services. NocoHousebuyers allowed me to not only avoid my foreclosure but make enough money to start over and feel in control of my finances despite the greatest odds. This is a company that does what they say and treats people with fairness and respect. I was pleasantly surprised at the outcome and hope that this helps anyone in the same position.Sincerely, Brian Weikel
