Got home from a camping trip and found that I couldnt insert my key into the camper door lock. Called them up and arranged a time to bring the camper by their shop to take a look. Got it fixed in a couple minutes and didnt even charge me. Above and beyond service and I am now a customer for life.

I was expecting to replace 2 commercial lock sets and Ian educated me and my staff on the lock system. Ian exhausted all that may be wrong and told me that the locks are in working condition. He made some adjustments and lubricated them and they work great. I ended up spending a 1/4 of what I had expected! Excellent customer service and knowledge

I can’t thank the guys at dans Keyway lock shop. Especially Jeremiah who helped me with the installation of a new lock set on my car top storage box. He rebuilt the latch and replaced the lock set so that the box is secure. I can see why this business has such great reviews. We used them recently to help modify a new lock for our car that got damaged during an attempted break-in (making sure the old key would work in the new lock). Very reasonably priced and got it done in a few hours.

I called them today with an unusual & extremely time sensitive car key situation after going to Home Depot & ACE hardware, neither of which were able to help resolve my problem. Ian provided excellent service & squeezed me in at the last minute. Although he was the newest tech there (he mentioned that on a phone call that came in while I was there), I never wouldve known it based on his quality of service & efficient yet accurate results. I highly recommend their services.

I didnt want to pay $300 for a new programmable key from the dealer, so I bought the keys for $20 online. Then I couldnt find someone to cut them. Everyone wanted to charge $150 and to force me to buy the key from them and have them program it. Don only charged a few bucks to cut the key. Now I can program it myself. Don has earned all my future business for being a really great guy and a wonderful business!

These guys are top notch! They went out of their way to help me out and far exceeded my expectations. I came in resolved to finally deal with my nonfunctional trunk lock, that a locksmith another company had fixed for me. In a matter of minutes, they troubleshooted the issue and had the lock reinstalled - no charge. I had put this off for years after the first locksmith didnt fix it. What a relief!I brought in my wifes nonfunctional remote key fobs later that week, and they trouble shooted them both in just a few minutes. One was fixed immediately and the other needed a new circuit board. They explained to me how to get one for cheap online and swap it into the old key fob shell. Again, no charge! This alone saved me $100-300 that the dealership quoted me.I highly recommend Dons Keyway Lock and Safe and they certainly have my business in the future.

Zach at Don’s Keyway provided me with nothing but hospitality and positive energy. My key wouldn’t turn my car over so I called Don’s Keyway 10 minutes before they closed. Zach answered offered to stay open 20 minutes later so I could get there. He made me 2 keys and provided me with some silicone based spray. I got home and my new keys worked perfectly. 20$ total. Very helpful and friendly owner and staff. For a small shop they have a very good selection of keys and locks. This is my first stop for anything I am looking for when working on or repairing locks. Other shops I have visited I felt talked down to or like I was being told what to do. Dons Keyway offers options and solutions while making sure their clients get what they need. I only wish they were closer to me so I didnt have to fight traffic to get to them - although it has always been worth it.

Very professional and knowledgeable. I visited Don’s Keyway to have my house key duplicated after the other locksmith at a nationally known hardware store had failed to provide me with workable duplicates. Not only Don’s duplicated the key nicely but also they deduced what might have gone wrong at the first locksmith. With the expert opinion, I was able to redeem refund for the faulty duplicates made at the first locksmith.

Bottom line: I had a great experience with Dons Keyway.Problem: Last year I bought a used 2014 Victory motorcycle and it came with only one key. Dons Keyway made sure the two keys I needed fit all four cylinders on my bike and even went further for my satisfaction and lightly added lube to the ignition/locks cylinder. I couldnt be more pleased with service and care shown to me. I will post my great experience on my motorcycles forums as well as tell all my neighbors, too.

I would highly recommend Dons Keyway Lock Service. I had a very complicated issue with a car key/lock situation and I wasnt sure that I was going to be able to get the situation taken care of because I had been to several places in town and they could not resolve it in an economical and satisfactory way. My auto shop recommended Dons Keyway and while at the Key Shop, I was given several options on how I could get the issue resolved. I checked a few other places and Dons Keyway Lock Service was the only place that offered personal assistance in understanding what I needed and then taking care of the job at a reasonable price.

We had a home medical equipment unit for which we lost the key and the lock could not be easily disassembled since opening the unit was not possible. We were cringing at the replacement cost. I have gone here everytime Ive needed a new key they are always happy, friendly, and fast. If for some reason the key they make you doesnt work they are more then happy to remake keys until they work for no charge. I had also asked if they can make keys fobs such as the Volkswagen uses they said they could but they would have to wait for the key fob to be mailed to them.

Had a problem with a defective new keypad lockset that I had bought elsewhere. I came into the shop while on travel with a broken key buried deep into my Thule cargo box. I watched for a few minutes while they battled the removal. We ended up removing the box so they could spend more time on it while I continued to enjoy my day. A bit later I get the call that the key is out and that they have new tougher keys for me to use. I brought in a cylindrical lock assembly that had a key jammed and broken off in it. I expected it would have to be destroyed to get the cylinder out of the body. Not only were they able to extract the key and keep the whole assembly functional, but they had it done within the hour!
